First day of school, DandDOC took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to school, he returning, for her, it was her very first day. My what a handsome family, Catherine looked beautiful with new haircut and colour. Our Charlotte is really growing up, her face has matured. She is a beautiful young lady, George is handsome, as we used to say, they will be heartbreakers few years from now. The photos are stunning and we thank William and Catherine so much!! BRIDGE-OF SIGHS.

The Bridge of sighs is a bridge in Venice, Italy. The enclosed bridge is made of white limestone, has windows with stone bars, passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison (Prigioni Nuove) to the interrogation rooms in the Palace. BLoomsbury is a part of West End London, Coventry Garden also. However it is a major publishing house, in America. I wonder if she had a meeting regarding the children’s book there had been some talk of a while ago. She certainly was not at all welcomed at the tennis yesterday. In fact it appeared no one spoke to her, she looked completely alone, sadly alone. When she attempted to talk to Serena’s mum she was completely ignored. They didn’t want her there, bad luck and she was. At times near tears, at times talking to herself, sad, sad. Certainly no invitations to after party since Serena lost, and l doubt she felt like a party and l especially doubt she felt like doing it with a jinx who she has been trying to extricate from friendship for some time now.

Chapter 49

A/N: Here is the FIRST of TWO chapters today! The second one will be posted in a few hours, maybe sooner if you guys want so... let me know! I am very happy to be back and sharing these chapters with you!

Harry shifted his weight onto his side, unable to take his eyes off of Adalyn. He loved how peaceful she was in that moment. Her chest breathing easy with a slow rise and fall of each breath. The light that separated through his blinds beamed perfectly across her face.

He wanted to reach out and trace the outlines of her features, but he was scared to wake her and wanted her to sleep as long as she could. Addy had woken up in the middle of the night and crawled closer in beside the prince, waking him up. Opening his eyes Harry saw her guilty green eyes peaking up at him as they silently apologized for disrupting his sleep. All he did was lift his arm and smile down at his girlfriend who snuggled into the confines of his warm body, finding the comfort she had been searching for.

Staring now down at Adalyn, he wondered how he would have to say goodbye to her. Looking away he sighed deeply and intentionally blinked his eyes close before staring up at the ceiling. They had just gotten back on track in their relationship after almost two months of uncertainty and it was the last thing he wanted to do. But, in reality, Harry did not have a choice. It was mandatory that he made an appearance at Sandringham for Christmas.

“Henry?” A quiet little voice broke through his thoughts. His blue eyes turned to lock in Adalyn’s green orbs staring up at him sleepily. She stretched out her body and snuggled into the pillow as if she was not quite ready to get up.

Harry leaned in and pressed his lips against Addy’s. “Good morning beautiful.” Addy’s hand snaked around the prince’s neck to pull him back down to her lips. “Where are you going so quickly?” She breathed across his lips.

“Mmm I am never leaving this bed with you.” Harry teased as his hand traveled down along her back. “At least for a few more hours.”

Helping Adalyn put her winter coat on; Harry tried his best to drag out their last few minutes together. Turning around he caught a glimpse of the necklace Harry had given Adalyn. A proud smile crept upon his lips seeing her wearing his gift. “It looks great on you.” Adalyn lowered her gaze in slight embarrassment feeling the warm crimson red flush upon her cheeks.

“I want to wear it all the time… it reminds me of those blue eyes of yours and makes me feel that we aren’t so far apart when I look at it.” A blushing Adalyn confessed whole heartedly.

“I love that you told me that.” He placed his hands on Addy’s head and pulled her closer to him so he could press his lips down gently to her forehead. “I want to always hear what you are thinking.” Adalyn’s green eyes lifted to holding the prince’s gaze hostage. “Even if it scares you to tell me. We have to be more open with one another Addy. We keep falling back into a rut where we shut the other out and look where it brought us this time.”

“I completely agree…” Her gaze averted away from Harry’s concentrated stare. “I uh…” Adalyn paused and closed her eyes. “Even though Jake’s dead, he is still very real to me.”

“I understand that more than you think.” He could see the tears nearly brimming over in Adalyn’s eyes. “Come here, love.” Harry engulfed Addy into a warm embrace, gently pushing her head down onto his chest. “You have been through so much lately, none of which you deserve. It’s going to take time to feel yourself again, but I am not going anywhere. You hear me?”

Adalyn wrapped her arms around the prince tighter closing her eyes as if she was making herself believe Harry’s words. “I don’t know what to say, other than I love you.”

Harry took in a deep sigh and just stood there holding Adalyn in the entrance way. Gently swaying back and forth, the couple relished in the last few moments of their private time together before they parted their ways for a while. The silence was comforting as Addy closed her eyes and listened to Harry’s slowly beating heart.

“Sir?” Addy’s body tensed becoming startled hearing an unfamiliar voice from behind her.

Harry’s brow furrowed angrily seeing how startled Adalyn was. His eyes lifted to find Luther’s temporary replacement, Ryan, in his apartment standing behind the couple. A look of anger grew upon the prince’s face not being pleased with how Ryan presented himself so abruptly.

Ryan had done this multiple times to Harry and the prince was growing tired of it. He would show up unannounced in Harry’s private flat that he had already requested be off limits other than in cases of emergency. Luther and Harry had an understanding that once his apartment was cleared, he could be left alone to be with Adalyn or his visitors. Ryan and Harry had yet to figure out their own boundaries, but it only made Harry miss Luther more.

“We need to go.” Ryan simply stated and stood there despite witnessing the anger placed on the prince’s face.

“We go when I say we go. Do not sneak up on her like that again.” Harry’s voice was livid making Addy lift her head to see creases formed in anger across his forehead.

Gently rubbing down his back, Addy pressed a kiss to cheek to gain the prince’s attention. “I’m fine.” He shook his head slowly showing Adalyn that he was still not pleased. Taking it upon herself she turned and politely asked the man to give them a little more time. “If you could just give us a few more minutes, I haven’t seen Harry in a while.”

“Sorry. We are ready to go now.” Ryan continued to stand there.

Harry had enough. He took a step forward and got right in Ryan’s face. “You address her as ma’am or Miss Mackenzie, got it?” Harry was practically breathing down Ryan’s neck. “Get the hell out of here and I will come when I bloody well want to.”

“Sir.” Ryan tried to speak.

“No. You have pissed me off right before I have to say goodbye to my girl so if you want to keep your job I suggest you apologize to her and leave me be with my girlfriend.” Adalyn crossed her arms with a lowered head trying not to look at the situation unfolding in front of her. She never liked seeing Harry in this state.

Ryan looked over Harry’s shoulder at Adalyn. “I am sorry Miss Mackenzie for interrupting your time together.” Without another word, Ryan turned and quickly left the apartment.

Harry turned around wearing a smug smile that faded as he saw Adalyn’s somber expression. Closing in the distance between them Harry could not get Adalyn to look at him as she averted his gaze. “Come on babe.” He wrapped his arms around her. “Look at me.”

“No.” She stubbornly welcomed his embrace. “I’m not going to have the last thing I see of you is that angry face.”

“But he-”

“No.” Addy cut off Harry’s explanation. “Yes, he startled me. But you know I hate it when people call me Miss Mackenzie and there was no need for you to go all crazy on him.” Addy’s bottom lip pouted out.

Harry released a deep sigh. “I did it for you.” He confessed.

“No, Harry. You did it for yourself. You clearly have an issue with that man.” Addy finally turned her green eyes towards him. “Do not use me as an excuse for your own personal vendetta.”

“Damn it, Addy. I AM NOT!” He raised his voice at her and regretted it in that very same second. Adalyn shook her head and pushed herself away from Harry’s arms. Grabbing her bag she swung the door open and started briskly walking out.

“ADDY!” He yelled after her and released a frustrated groan. “Get back here!” But Addy did not slow down her pace making Harry run after her.

“Addy… stop.” He caught up and gently grabbed Addy’s wrist to turn her around. Her green eyes flashed back towards him. “Please….” Harry begged her to stop.

“I didn’t want to leave like this, Henry.” A disgusted look grew on her face. “It was the last thing I wanted.”

“I am so sorry.” Harry’s hand slid from her wrist to her fingers and gently tugged on it to see if Addy would come to him. “I should not have raised my voice at you.”

How could she not forgive those deep blue eyes that were staring right into her. Sighing deeply, Addy took a step forward and reached out to cup his cheek. “We have to be better at this, at communicating and it not ending in a fight or we won’t last Harry.” He bowed his head into her hand relishing in the feeling it gave him as he listened to her words.

“I hate it.” He closed his eyes. “When we argue.”

“I am getting tired of it.” Addy took a step closer and wrapped her arms around the prince. Resting her head on his chest Addy breathed out. “Maybe this break with our families will be a good thing.”

“Addy… I just got you back.” Harry was quick to reply. Hearing the doubt in her voice scared the prince.

“That’s the problem, Harry. I was here all along, but you didn’t see me.” The words hit Harry like a ton of bricks. Addy was completely right.

“Hey….” Her quiet voice coaxed him out of his thoughts. “It will only be a few days and you will be home and I will be home.”

“Addy. I’m sorry for it all.”

“Don’t be like that.” Addy reached up and played with tufts of his ginger hair. “I wish you could come with me. It’s so peaceful up there.” His smile mirrored Addy’s. “Quiet. Away from all what’s going on up here…” She gently tapped his temple before standing up on her tippy toes and kissing it softly.

Before her lips could travel further, Harry turned her chin with his finger and connected his lips with Addy’s. His lips pressed down harder as his hand held Addy’s neck gently in place. Addy broke her lips off for a second, gasping for a breath.

“I’m not done with those lips.” Harry smiled and attacked them before she could get in another breath.

After an impromptu make out session. Harry grabbed his girlfriend’s hand and led her through the palace towards an awaiting car. “A good kisser and a gentlemen. Why I think I may have hit the jackpot.” Addy leaned in and rubbed Harry’s arm up and down making a smile appear on his lips.

Harry opened the trunk of the car and tossed her bag in. “Great kisser Addy. Great.” He pulled Adalyn into him hard feeling her hands brace herself against his chest.

“I will be the judge of that.” Adalyn leaned in and pressed her lips against Harry’s briefly. Breaking off his lips too soon for the prince and stepped away giggling.

“Hey! You can’t leave without me knowing the answer.” Harry lifted his hands up in the air.

“Goodbye, Henry.” Addy came back and received a tight hug.

“I can’t for you to come with me one day.” Harry mumbled into her ear. “I love you.”

“One day.” She squeezed him hard before releasing the prince.

“Let me know when you get there safely.” Harry opened the car door regretfully.

“I will.” Addy climbed into the back seat and shut the door, but quickly rolled down the window.

“Seat belt.” Harry ordered her with a wink.

Click.

“Happy?” She teased him before the silence turned their goodbye to a serious note. “Just a few days right?” “Just a few days.” Harry leaned in through the window and captured her lips one more time. “Goodbye, love.”

“Henry?” The prince froze inches from her face to look into Addy’s green eyes.

“Yes love?”

“What I said earlier….” She started to speak but was quickly interrupted by the prince.

“No. Don’t take it back.” A smile formed on his lips. “I asked you to tell me what you are thinking and I cannot be and I won’t be mad at that.” The prince reassured Adalyn.

“Then let me say what’s on my mind now… I love you Henry Wales.” A giddy smile graced her lips.

“I love you more, Adalyn Mackenzie.”

“Can you at least look happy Harry? It’s Christmas!” Kate nudged her brother in law.

Harry’s eyes peeled off the awaiting crowd that was eagerly waiting for them at St. Mary’s Magdalene church. It was a tradition for all the royals to attend a church service here Christmas morning. Staring into Kate’s chocolate brown eyes he forced a smile.

“That’s better.” Kate giggled in response before climbing out of the vehicle assisted by William.

Harry took a quick moment to compose himself and place a mask on his face to hide his unhappiness at the fact he had to do this yet again. There was no doubt in his mind that he would get asked about Adalyn. Even at engagements she was the basis of most of the questions asked by the paparazzi.

Stepping out of the car, the prince buttoned up his coat and joined the rest of their family as they walked down the path towards the church. The prince found himself walking beside his cousin Zara and her husband Mike behind Kate and William. Within a matter of seconds, the photographers were calling out his name and Addy’s.

Where is Adalyn, Harry? Are you two spending Christmas together? Is Adalyn coming to Sandringham for the holidays?

Harry kept his head lowered and his attention on his conversation with his cousin Zara, not giving them an ounce of any answers to their questions. Walking into the walls of the church he released a breath he felt like he was holding, feeling relief course through him and calm him.

He took his assigned seat next to Kate and settled into it. Feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, Harry pulled it out to see a message from Addy pop up. With a growing smile he unlocked his phone and read it.

Hi my love. Where did that charming smile go to? It’s Christmas! Smile, be happy. Because I would give anything to be with you right now xx Now what do I have to do to make you smile?

Addy must have been watching them walk into the church. Harry felt Kate’s eyes on him as he peeked up at her from his phone. “Say hi to Addy and Merry Christmas from us.”

“How did you know- ?” Harry started to ask.

“Only one person can make you smile like that Harry.” Kate winked and then turned her head forward, staring up at the front of the church as the service began. Harry quickly typed his reply and put his phone away with that same smile plastered on his face.

Embarking from the church, Harry was a different man. He was all smiles and happy to see the people. The family always spent a little time speaking to the well wishers once they left the church. Harry was always keen to walk up to anyone with kids or animals. Spotting a dog wearing a coat similar to what Addy had gotten Chance, Harry walked up to them and kneeled to pet the excited pup.

“Well hello there.” The dog was dancing in circles and wagging his tail happily receiving pets from the prince.

“Merry Christmas Prince Harry!” The owner wished the prince well.

“Thank you. What is your dog’s name? My girl- ” Harry caught himself before speaking another word. His eyes locked with the elderly woman whose eyes were wide in surprise at meeting him.

She leaned in and whispered. “It’s ok, I won’t tell them what you said.”

Harry laughed nervously and decided that there was no harm in what he was going to say. “Addy and I got our own dog a coat just like this one. He has been quiet spoiled this Christmas.”

“Peanut, loves his! How is she doing?” The woman was genuine in her questioning with sincerity smeared across her face.

Harry knew exactly what she was asking. How was Addy coping with all that had happened? The story had been front-page news with nearly everyone making their thoughts known on the matter. “Well, thank you.” He responded quickly not wanting to get into it further. “Have a Merry Christmas and stay warm in this dreadful weather.”

The prince moved down the line shaking hands and taking small gifts that were offered to him. A small little boy was wearing a Harry Potter hat and scarf that was eagerly watching the prince carefully.

“What is your name?” The prince crouched down to the child’s level and gently shook his hand.

“Max.” The boy shied away.

“I like your hat. Have you seen all the movies?” Harry spent a few more minutes talking to the little boy.

The Royal family had left the church grounds and completed all their Christmas Day traditions. Having had a long day, all the younger cousins decided to relax and have a few drinks together.

Harry leaned back into the chair taking a sip of his beer that Zara had just handed to him. Looking around the room, seeing all of his relatives with their significant others only made Harry miss Adalyn even more. It was Christmas night and their day had been filled with family events and outings making this relaxing time well worth the wait.

It had been such a long time since all of his cousins were able to be in one room together. Being on base had definitely taken its toll on his other familial relationships as of late.

“So… Harry.” Zara beckoned his name. “Tell us all about Adalyn. We are dying to meet her.”

“Yeah, why haven’t we yet?” Eugenie piped in as she eagerly leaned in.

Harry shook his head with a big grin. “Well… she is at her grand parents over Christmas. That’s why she is not here.” He hoped that would end the inquisitions, but thanks to Kate, they did not.

“She is so lovely. We absolutely adore her.” Kate chimed in as Harry’s head swiveled into her view. “They are very cute together, honestly it’s so adorable.” She continued to gush to Zara who was sitting next to her while Harry nearly downed his beer.

“Awe! Has my baby cousin finally met the one?!” Zara turned to wink at Harry, but was half serious.

“He better have after what she went through.” Beatrice spoke loud enough for every one to hear. Not realizing that she said what was in her head, Bea quickly apologized. “I am so sorry… I didn’t think I-”

“Bea, it’s fine.” Harry had only talked to his immediate family and grandparents about everything that had happened, so naturally the rest of his family was curious to know the truth.

“I haven’t told you guys much about her because she…we.” Harry corrected himself. “Have been through a lot these last few months and honestly was not entirely sure what would happen to us.” Harry frowned as the memory of it all hit him. “We have struggled a bit because of it and I don’t think it’s best to overwhelm her more at this point with meeting all you unhinged people.” He teased with a light chuckle.

“We all understand, Harry.” Zara smiled warmly at him. “The media frenzy around you two as a couple has been….”

“Insane.” Will interrupted and locked eyes with Harry.

“God, all the stories about her relationship with that stalker guy. Has she read any of them?” Eugenie shifted in her seat, displaying a concerned look.

“I won’t let her.” It was such a surprise to everyone else that Harry had read every single one of them. He did so so he knew exactly what reporter was writing what in order to keep his eye out for them. The media backlash over what occurred was next level. It had been why Harry had been keen on staying out of the media’s grasp for the next little while with his relationship, until it died down. Stories after stories and speculations of what happened were constantly being written. Harry was even being asked to comment on them by reporters at his engagements, which he of course refused to. The royal family had never put out a statement other than wishing Luther a speedy recovery.

“I think it’s so sweet how protective you are of those you love, Harry. But, you can’t protect her from everything. She is in this crazy life with you and needs to learn how to handle it on her own.” Eugenie’s unwarranted advice did not sit well with Harry.

“Eugenie. You have no idea what you are talking about.” Harry protested making the room fall into an uncomfortable silence.

“Yeah, Harry I do.” She was not going to back down even after Jack nudged her to stop pushing Harry.

“I am not getting into this right now. I really don’t care if you ridicule me for how I protect people in my life. I won’t let them hurt anyone like how they hurt...” Harry couldn’t say it, but Eugenie did it for him.

“Your mother?”

Harry shook his head slowly in disappointment at Eugenie as the frustration and anger became too overwhelming for him to handle. He stood up and walked out of the room in silence before he said anything else he would regret.

“Why would you say that to him?” Kate turned towards Eugenie and become very defensive on behalf of Harry. “You do not understand what it’s like to come into this life being an outsider and having to learn what to do and what not to do while being constantly harassed and photographed. Addy has never said a word to the press and they, as a couple, with permission from gran” she matter of factly stated before continuing, “released a joint statement together because Harry did not know how else to protect her when some crazy photographers ambushed Addy using her rescue. Then when he does, her ex goes crazy and kidnaps her after terrorizing her and Harry for months on end. So if he feels the need to protect her after all they have been through, then let him do it.” Kate was fuming by the end of her speech.

“Kate… I’m sorry. It’s not what I meant.” Eugenie was trying to back track.

Zara slowly got up and walked in the direction of where Harry left, leaving Kate and Eugenie’s little spat. Walking around, she found Harry out on a balcony alone.

“Hey… little cousin.” She didn’t want to spook Harry. Turning around she received a set of soft blue eyes looking back at her.

“Hey, Zara.” His cousin placed a hand on his back and gently rubbed it. “Sorry, I just don’t feel the need to feel judged by own family about what happened.”

“I think Eugenie doesn’t fully understand what happened, Harry. I think her intentions were to help you realize that nothing was your fault and that you cannot always be there to protect Adalyn.” Zara was trying to be the voice of reason.

“You miss her don’t you?” She asked after hearing Harry release a deep sigh.

“More than you know.” Harry looked down over the balcony. “I wasn’t being the best boyfriend to her afterwards… and we are just getting back on track.” His head swiveled to lock eyes with Zara. “I don’t think I could handle actually losing her.”

Harry’s phone started to buzz making him dig into his pocket and pulling it out to reveal a picture of Adalyn. “Wanna meet her now?” He flashed Zara the phone seeing that Addy was trying to facetime Harry.

“Yes!” An over excited Zara stepped in beside Harry as he answered the call. Adalyn was curled up in her bed wearing one of Harry’s sweaters. He probably should have warned Adalyn, but didn’t think she would really care.

“Hey babe, you look comfy.” He laughed as Addy pulled up his sweater up passed her neck.

“I am! So is Chance and Willow.” Addy angled the camera down to show Harry the two dogs that were snuggled up beside one another.

“Hi Adalyn! I’m Zara.” She waved through the camera at Harry’s girlfriend.

“Hi, Zara!” Addy giggled lightly. “Sorry to be meeting you like this. How’s your Christmas been?”

“It’s been great having all the family together. But, I know a certain someone has missed you quite a bit.” Zara teased Harry as Addy laughed through the camera.

“Well I think Chance and I have missed him more.” She replied with a warm smile.

“Did Chance open my present?” Harry waited for the delayed response as Addy nodded her head.

“Yeah, he loves his little coat and booties, love.” She was smiling from ear to ear, happy that she was finally able to see Harry.

“I cannot wait to meet you, Adalyn. Harry has told me a lot about you. After the holidays, you two should come out to our place for the weekend.” Zara patted Harry’s back knowing that he was going to protest the invitation.

“I would love that, Zara!” Addy yawned and rubbed her tired eyes.

“You should get some sleep, gorgeous.” Harry could tell that Addy was fading quickly. “Got a big day tomorrow?”

“I just wanted to say Merry Christmas in person. Well as in person as I can get!” Adalyn chuckled lightly. “No, I think I will take the dogs out for a long walk at least. We can talk more then?”

Kate Middleton and Prince William pledge £1.8 million to support nation’s mental health

Kate Middleton has revealed she is ‘in awe’ of frontline staff as she and Prince William launch a £1.8 million fund to support emergency workers and the nation’s mental health amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 38, who have spent lockdown at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall with their children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, have pledged the grants through ten charities at the heart of mental health and frontline support.

The couple’s Royal Foundation Covid-19 Response Fund is helping a range of projects, from ensuring all emergency workers have access to individual grief trauma from Hospice UK, to helping early years charity Best Beginnings support an extra 20,000 new mothers.

Kate and William spoke privately earlier this week at the Queen’s Sandringham estate with two emergency responders and two mental health counsellors whose organisations are being supported by the fund, telling them: ‘Over recent months we have all been in awe of the incredible work that frontline staff and emergency responders have been doing in response to Covid-19.’

The Ambulance Staff Charity will be able to provide an additional 2,780 hours of support for crews, and teachers, pupils and their parents will be helped to cope with issues like anxiety as schools reopen thanks to training and resources from Place2Be and The Anna Freud Centre.

Alison Baum, chief executive of Best Beginnings, said: ‘The pandemic has led to greatly increased levels of anxiety and isolation for parents across the UK and in collaboration with many charities and frontline professionals, we are here to help.

‘This vital funding will enable us to deliver an engaging digital outreach programme as well as maternal mental health training with Home-Start volunteers and midwives.

The Duke said it had been ‘great’ hearing how the Royal Foundation was supporting the workers to ‘build resilience and give you the networks you need through its Covid-19 Response Fund’

The Royal Foundation’s fund will be granted to 10 different charities which are at the heart of supporting the mental health and frontline workers

‘Together we’ll ensure that 20,000 more parents will benefit from the personalised, supportive and empowering daily information – 300 films in (our app) Baby Buddy designed to give them the knowledge and confidence to look after themselves and give their children the best start in life.’

Since the start of the pandemic, Kate and Prince William have brought together partners from across the mental health, frontline and bereavement sectors to understand for themselves the challenges faced by these sectors during COVID-19 and to identify what support was needed.

The Royal Foundation has also consulted extensively with these sectors, identifying where it is uniquely placed to add value.

In April, the Foundation came together with four leading mental health charities, Samaritans, Mind, Hospice UK and Shout 85258, to launch Our Frontline, an initiative designed to ensure that frontline staff and key workers have access to vital mental health resources and support.

The update detailed the couple’s plans to connect their patronages with charities that can offer practical support for frontline responders, and plans to promote and support mental health charities, as well as ‘thanking and celebrating those working on the frontline’ of the crisis.

The statement about their on-going work, which is displayed on the site’s homepage, said that during the pandemic, the foundation will be focused on the coronavirus crisis.

It was breathlessly reported this month by British newspapers that Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s American TV-star girlfriend, had been introduced to Queen Elizabeth II.

The teatime meeting — said to be over finger sandwiches and scones at Buckingham Palace — with her love’s granny was the most significant indicator yet that the 36-year-old “Suits” actress will soon step into her biggest role ever: joining the cast of one of the world’s most celebrated families.

Markle, who was photographed on Sept. 25 holding hands with Harry at the Invictus Games in Canada during their first public outing, is said to have given up her Audi lease in Toronto, where “Suits” films. And her work contract ends in late November.

It seems to be a case of when, not if, an engagement is announced.

Rumors are swirling around London that the 33-year-old prince has already proposed to his squeeze of 15 months after getting permission from his indomitable grandmother.

It’s an understatement to say that free-spirited Markle is about to experience a dramatic lifestyle change. As Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of “Majesty Magazine,” told The Post: “It’s going to be a minefield.”

Sources reveal that as the Los Angeles-raised actress prepares for a very public engagement and wedding, she is also being schooled in the ways of the Firm — the royals’ affectionate nickname for themselves. There’s no special “school” where Markle will learn how to curtsy, hob-knob with foreign dignitaries or emerge from a car without flashing her underwear.

British writer Katie Nicholl told The Post that Prince Harry has been Markle’s main mentor in all things royal.

“He knows how daunting this will be for Meghan and he’s keen for her to be relaxed in the company of senior royals,” she said.

Before the auspicious meeting at so-called “BP,” he would have told his girlfriend how to address the 91-year-old queen, strongly suggesting that she curtsy, even though that’s an optional move these days.

“Harry will have made sure Meghan knew how to address the queen and how to behave in her presence,” says Nicholl, who has written a forthcoming biography of Harry. “He calls her ‘Granny,’ but after Meghan had curtsied and called her ‘Your Majesty,’ she would have reverted to ‘ma’am.’ It seems strange to mere mortals, but it is how [Princess] Kate addresses her.”

The American divorcée will be encouraged to be herself — with one giant caveat.

“She will always have to remember, in public at least, that she is royalty and certain behaviors are expected,” said Seward, whose latest book, “My Husband and I”— chronicling the marriage of the queen and the Duke of Edinburgh — is soon to be published.

“It’s going to be difficult for her because she is an independent career woman who [won’t] really like being told what to do.”

Markle’s position is unprecedented, although there are echoes of the scandalous love affair between divorced US socialite Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII that led to the king’s abdication in 1936.

“We’ve never had an American divorcée marry someone who is in line to the throne,” said Seward. Harry is currently fifth in position, behind his father, Prince Charles, brother, Prince William, nephew George and niece Charlotte. He will be shunted to sixth place after the birth of William and Kate’s third child next April.

“American manners are different than British manners,” Seward added. “[She] can’t walk down the street eating or chewing gum.” Markle will even have to correct her table manners. “We hold our cutlery differently. It’s a whole different culture.”

Markle did well in her new role in a September Vanity Fair cover-story interview, sanctioned by Harry, when she revealed: “We’re two people who are really happy and in love.”

Still, the corridors of Kensington Palace (where Harry lives in an apartment near William and Kate) are a long way from the San Fernando Valley, where Markle was raised by her yoga-teacher mother, Doria, who is black, and lighting-director father, Thomas, who is white.

When she launched an affordable clothing line in 2016, she told the Toronto Star: “I was not a girl who grew up buying $100 candles. I was the girl who ran out of gas on her way to an audition.”

She first attended the private Hollywood Little Red Schoolhouse and then an all-girls’ Catholic school, Immaculate Heart High. Markle studied theater and international relations at Northwestern University, just outside Chicago, where a fellow alumnus remembered her as being “very sophisticated for a college student.

“We were in our early 20s but she seemed like someone 10 years older. She had the poise and grace it takes to being a royal.”

By the time she graduated from college in 2003, Markle had already made her screen debut in “General Hospital,” which led to roles on TV shows such as “90210,” “Knight Rider,” “CSI:NY” and, ultimately, “Suits.”

Charles Rae, former royal correspondent for Britain’s Sun and author of the book “Diana: The People’s Princess,” believes the starlet’s professional skills will come in handy when she signs up with the Firm.

“She’s a natural performer and will chat with people with ease,” he said. “Besides, everyone will be intrigued by her accent.”

It’s not as if Markle lacks experience in public speaking. A global ambassador for World Vision, she traveled with the humanitarian organization to Rwanda for its clean water campaign. Her résumé also includes working for United Nations Women as part of the HeForShe gender-equality movement. All of this earns her extra points with the royal family, as she would be expected to perform charity work and have pet causes as a princess.

Rae, who described the possibility of Markle marrying Harry as “the best thing to happen to the monarchy in years,” revealed that the brunette has been “studying hard” to fit into the lifestyle.

“She has practically been living at Kensington Palace whenever she is in London and will have seen the routine that goes on with the butlers and servants,” he told The Post.

As of late, Markle has been zipping around London in a new Volkswagen — sometimes, but not always, with a driver. According to the Daily Mail, this is significant because the royal family has a deal with VW in which they get a 60-percent lease discount; Princess Kate had a similar deal, leasing an Audi (owned by VW) before marrying William.

It will likely only be after an engagement is announced that Markle will receive formal briefings on her public appearances. A personal assistant will also be hired.

As Seward points out, advance information on how to dress correctly could have helped Markle ahead of the Invictus Games, where she famously wore ripped jeans.

Meanwhile, the royal protection squad, an elite team of police officers, will be on hand to advise her on dealing with the traditional “walkabouts” so loved by the British public.

“She will learn how to cope if someone [in a crowd] comes on too strong,” said Rae. “Ever since John Lennon was shot, the royals have been told never to rebuff anyone. Members of the family, including the queen, have had assassination attempts against them in the past, and no chances will be taken with Meghan.”

As with Grace Kelly, when she became the princess of Monaco, Markle’s “acting career will, of course, be a thing of the past,” Rae said.

Robert Lacey, historical consultant for the hit Netflix series “The Crown,” told The Post that Markle will not be expected to take British citizenship — mainly because of Harry’s low place in line to the throne.

“Her position as the wife of Prince Charles’s second son would not warrant it,” said the author of the upcoming book “The Crown: The Official Companion.”

The Greek-born Duke of Edinburgh [Prince Philip], now 96, became a British citizen in March 1947, eight months before his wedding to the then-Princess Elizabeth.

“Times have changed and the heat is off Meghan,” added Lacey. “She is a new recruit but, apart from being assigned a lady-in-waiting, it would be demeaning for her to get too much advice from courtiers.

“The best person to give Meghan advice would be her fellow divorcée, Camilla [the Duchess of Cornwall and Harry’s stepmother]. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had taken Meghan aside for a strong gin and tonic and some helpful tips on joining the royal family,” Lacey said. “She’s a very funny woman who’s had it all thrown at her but survived.”

Rae said the royals have learned lessons from the ill-fated introductions of both Princess Diana and Sarah, the Duchess of York, to the royal family in the 1980s. “Kate Middleton’s entry into the world went relatively smoothly in comparison.”

Last week, the Daily Mail reported that, when Middleton joined the royal family, an agreement was drawn up among Kate, her parents and Prince William to protect her from undue stress during the first five years of marriage. “Prince Harry is said to be considering a similar agreement to shield [Markle] from palace courtiers who like to keep their charges busy,” said the newspaper.

Speculation is now rife that Markle will appear on the balcony with Kate, Camilla and the queen as princes Charles, William and Harry place wreaths on London’s Cenotaph memorial on Remembrance Sunday, the British equivalent of Veteran’s Day, on Nov. 12.

“Meghan will no doubt follow royal protocol to the letter and wear a nice black coat and hat,” said Lacey, adding that her presence will be another indicator of an impending engagement.

And Christmas is approaching. If Markle is invited to Sandringham, the Norfolk estate where the queen and her family spend the holidays, she might as well be walking down the aisle at Westminster Abbey.

“I just hope she enjoys pheasant shooting,” said Rae. “When the birds drop and they’re not yet dead, Meghan will be expected to join the other royal ladies in wringing their necks.”

One source spoke to a tabloid magazine, saying that Mandy’s health breakdown was triggered by a discussion she was having with Selena about her recently rekindled romance with Justin Bieber. Apparently, the mother-daughter duo got into a fairly heated argument about Selena’s complicated love life. On Tuesday, fans of Selena discovered that Selena and Mandy were no longer following one another on the social media platform Instagram. In addition, Selena was apparently not by her mother’s side when she was taken to the hospital, and she is now in Seattle with her on-again beau Justin Bieber. “Justin knows Selena’s family is not happy about her dating him,” an insider says. “He has known for a long time. But he is adamant that he has changed and is a better boyfriend now. He will keep trying to prove himself to her family. He is sad that her mom is not doing well. Selena is very close with her mom, so it’s stressful for her. He wants Selena to be happy.” Teefey, 41, shared an emotional Instagram post on Monday remembering Scarlett, the daughter she lost to miscarriage in 2011. Shortly after skyrocketing into fame due to the success of Disney’s High School Musical (in which Zac Efron starred as basketball star Troy Bolton), Zac got too involved in the party scene and eventually developed issues with both drugs and alcohol. In a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, the 30-year-old talked candidly about his substance abuse issues, which landed him in rehab back in 2013. The star told the publication, "I've done a lot of things that I look back on and go ‘sheesh, are you kidding, what were you thinking?' It is weird to say because I am also happy that I did all of those things because I am here before you today able to proclaim that this is me and I am very proud of who I am." Later in his interview with The Daily Telegraph, Zac also spoke about taking a risk with his role in The Greatest Showman, which is a lively musical that also stars Zendaya and Hugh Jackman. Zac gushed, "We want to achieve that ability to say this is me and feel that. But it is a fleeting moment. It is one that I know I am going to have to face tomorrow. A judge on Tuesday dismissed the lawsuit brought by a choreographer who alleged Michael Jackson molested him as a child, resolving one of the last major claims against the late singer’s holdings. Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff’s summary judgment ruling against the now-35-year-old Wade Robson found that the two Jackson-owned corporations, which were the remaining defendants in the case, were not liable for Robson’s exposure to Jackson. He did not rule on the credibility of Robson’s allegations themselves. Robson’s attorney, Vince Finaldi, said he strongly disagrees and plans to appeal. Robson, a native of Australia who has worked with Britney Spears and NSYNC, met Jackson when he was five years old. He testified in Jackson’s defense at the singer’s 2005 criminal trial, saying he had spent the night at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch more than 20 times and usually slept in Jackson’s room, but Jackson never molested him. Jackson was acquitted in that trial. Then in 2013 about four years after the singer’s death, Robson sued the Jackson estate for what his attorneys described as molestation that spanned a seven-year period. A court ruled in 2015 that Robson had filed his lawsuit too late to get any of Jackson’s estate. That left two remaining defendants, both corporate entities owned by Jackson in his lifetime: MJJ Productions, Inc., and MJJ Ventures, Inc. The judge ruled Tuesday that those two corporate defendants could not be held responsible for Robson’s exposure to Jackson, the way a school or the Boy Scouts can be found liable for bringing together an abusive adult and a child victim. Finaldi said the reasoning sets a dangerous precedent. “What the judge is saying is that you if own a corporation or a company, you can hire people, use these people to facilitate your sexual abuse, use them to facilitate victims,” Finaldi told media outlets by phone. “So long as you’re the sole owner of that corporation, the corporation can’t be held liable.” Jackson estate attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement that he “believes the court made the correct decision in dismissing Wade Robson’s claim against it. “In my opinion, Mr. Robson’s allegations, made 20 plus years after they supposedly occurred and years after Mr. Robson testified twice under oath — including in front of a jury — that Michael Jackson had never done anything wrong to him was always about the money rather than a search for the truth.” Finaldi replied that the Jackson camp’s interest in the truth was “hollow.” “If someone’s trying to search for the truth, why not let the lawsuit proceed?” Finaldi said. “Why not exonerate him and let a jury decide.” During the criminal trial, Robson bristled at testimony by other witnesses that they had seen Jackson molest him. “I’m telling you nothing happened,” Robson testified at the time when a prosecutor challenged him. Another Robson attorney said when his lawsuit was filed that stress and sexual trauma led Robson to finally accept that he had been molested by Jackson. Lady Gaga put ongoing speculation about a rumored Vegas residency to rest Tuesday afternoon, confirming via an Instagram post that she has partnered with the 5,300-seat MGM Park Theater for a two-year concert series. “The rumors are true. I will have my own residency in Las Vegas,” she wrote on the social media site. “I was made for this town, and I can’t wait to light up the Park Theater like never before…. this is just the beginning of a new era!” “It’s the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. Wyatt’s lawyers claim that he purchased the pricey Oscar Heyman cushion-cut diamond with two tapered baguette diamonds for $180,000 in March for a Tallahassee lassie named Ivie Gabrielle Slocumb. But come May — after she allegedly “broke off” the engagement — Slocumb kept the rock. Wyatt’s lawyers say the ring’s now worth $250,000, and Wyatt also wants $15,000 in damages. According to court documents filed in Florida circuit court, Wyatt — known in Palm Beach as the flame-haired, flamboyantly attired CEO of his own Palm Beach fashion line, Wyatt Ingraham — has “demanded the return of the ring . . . on multiple occasions” and says that the would-be bride “received the ring as a conditional gift. She refuses to return it despite proper demand and the condition not being fulfilled.” A receipt filed with the court reflects that he also splashed out on a $7,750 “platinum diamond pendant” with 56 round diamonds, that’s not part of the suit. Stars like Meryl Streep and Amber Tamblyn are slated to join in on the trend, displaying their support and solidarity for all those who have been affected by the wrongdoings of some of Hollywood’s biggest male executives and stars. However, despite all of the support the impending protest has gotten, star Rose McGowan recently expressed her disapproval of it and even slammed stars – like Meryl Streep – for their apparent hypocrisy. On Saturday, Rose took to her Twitter to write, “Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster (aka Harvey Weinstein), are wearing black [to the Golden Globes] in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly and affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa.” After hearing about Rose’s criticism, Meryl spoke with the Huffington Post about her reaction to Rose’s point. The legendary actress confessed, “It hurt to be attacked by Rose McGowan in banner headlines this weekend, but I want to let her know I did not know about Weinstein’s crimes, not in the 90s when he attacked her, or through subsequent decades when he proceeded to attack others. Someone in Los Angeles doesn’t believe that Meryl Streep didn’t know what was going on with Harvey Weinstein, as the actress is now being targeted by street signs that read “She knew.” Posters of Streep with a red and white “She knew” banner — reminiscent of the style made famous by artist Barbara Kruger — over her eyes went up around Los Angeles on Tuesday near the SAG-AFTRA building, Hollywood, and Highland complex and in Pasadena near Streep’s home. Whoever is responsible for the signage remains unknown. The posters came after Rose McGowan called out Streep for allegedly knowing what was going on with Weinstein. In fact, the NBA star actually got another woman pregnant while he was in a committed relationship with Iggy. On Sunday (December 17), Iggy was spotted heading into the popular West Hollywood restaurant Craig’s. Subsequently, after Iggy made her arrival, Nick Young was seen heading into the same venue. Inevitably, this led to some speculation, as one reporter at the Daily Mail wrote up an article, claiming that Iggy and Nick had met up for an intimate dinner together on Sunday. After seeing the article, Iggy took to her social media to explain what actually happened. Iggy posted on Twitter, “The unfortunate thing about LA is there are not that many places people eat. During the latest episode, Kris’s daughter Kim forced her mother, as well as several of her siblings (Khloe, Kendall, and Kourtney) to attend media training, where they learned how to answer difficult questions. One of the topics that Kris admitted to having difficulties talking about was Caitlyn, her former husband, and father of two of her kids (Kylie and Kendall). During a mock interview, one of the media coaches asked Kris, “Kris, looking back, were there signs that Bruce at the time wanted to become a woman? Did you turn a blind eye?” To which Kris responded, “No, I don’t think I turned a blind eye, I think I just didn’t have the whole truth of what was going on in his life.” Kris also discussed Caitlyn’s book, which throws ample shade at the matriarch. The media trainer questioned the mogul, “What were some of the most hurtful things in Caitlyn’s book?” Kris candidly responded, “Well, I think just the general tone of the book; Very mean-spirited, a lot of inaccuracies.
