I just watched the kill ‘em all podcast and these pictures literally made my day!

The highlight for me was hearing about how whenever someone would pass out on the floor, the band would put chairs on top of them so that when they’d wake up they’d just be caught in a mess.

It was so cute hearing about how James passed out and when he woke up, Kirk asked him why he had a mark on his face and James replied saying “I used the arm chair as a pillow” or something along the lines of that 😭

Nothing gets me into a fiery rage more than thinking about 343 has handled the Halo series after Bungie left it off on such a high note. 1, 2 and 3 were good, ODST and Reach were godlike, and they expanded on the universe quite a few times with books and comics and all that. And then 343 came in and just completely gumbled most of it up. CEA was cool, but basically just kitbashed Reach and upscaled Halo 3 assets together and lost some of the original touch the game had back in 2001.

Halo 4 was, ok? The best part was Cortana's story, going into more depth about rampancy and how it affects AI, especially one that we've known and loved for over a decade at that point. The Forerunners were fucking stupid personally, it's hinted to and LITERALLY SAID IN HALO 3, that humans are forerunners, just after the shitshow that was all the rings firing off. 343 Guilty Spark literally says that Chief is a forerunner, and then they just whipped it around and said "well actually he's a reclaimer because blablabla" ok whatever, they do flesh it out more in expanded works and explain it in Halo 4 so atleast theres that. Del Rio is an asshole to the savior of humanity for no reason. The sudden art style change that makes no sense is stupid, like you could've delayed the change until the Infinity rolled around. The Diadact is just space voldemort turning humanity into NFTs after being on r/nofap for 100,000 years, who then dies pretty unceremoniously to a shit ass grenade in a quick time event.

Halo 5 is.... fucking just Halo 5. The Cortaba story is so bad, why did you bring her back as an antagonist? Why didn't you stick to the marketing that was actually a really cool idea about Chief going rogue and hunting the truth. Where are the Marines? Why do I have to fight the Warden Eternal like 20 times? Better balancing than 4 i guess, but god the plot is just all over the place. And that fight scene with Chief, Chief was abducted as a child and forced into the spartan program and trained to be a cold brutal killer of the UNSC's foes. Without Mjolnir armor he straight up merked 2 ODSTs in hand-to-hand combat. This 7-foot-augmented-out-the-ass man had an equal match in a mass produced Spartan 4? Sure Locke is ONI so he's got some spice to him and he's still a Spartan wearing similar armor to Chief, but come on, you can't tell me a guy who saves humanity for breakfast is on a similar level to Halo Nightfall guy.

Infinite is strange. They basically drop Halo 5's characters for the most part, give Chief new (remastered Mk.6) armor, bring back older models of guns and stuff with a new coat of paint (Reach AR, Battle Rifle, now the DMR) and blow up Cortana and the Infinity within the first like, 30 minutes of the game. Ooooo the Banished except wait after Atriox's not-death they're pretty incompetent and are gettinf roflstomped by Chief and are really only good at killing UNSC off screen. The open world shit was ok, but for Halo i dont think its entirely the best idea to go for whatever Far Cry ass shit they pulled. Bringing back the old designs was really cool and much better than the sterile, clean, sharp edges of 4 and 5. Their armor and weapons looked like brand new toys while Infinite's look more realistic and have a bit more wear and tear to em. But its also missing a ton and just kind of ends off on a weird half note for the story. Like where are they gonna go with this? Idk, its just weird.

343, make more stories without Chief. I know Chief is the figurehead of the franchise, but for god's sake please please please make side stories in the universe. I want to see how humanity recovered after the war, how the different species in the Covenant took the end of the war. Exploring Forerunner sites? Side stories in the human-covenant war with ODSTs and Marines! You could totally make the Harvest campaign into a game! Give us the origin story for Sgt Johnson and how he and others did during the opening months of the conflict! Give us more on the Insurrection! You've done it before, Halo Forward Unto Dawn was actually a really cool movie, why don't you do some more stuff like that??

Buck Bumble is a insect-based flying shoot-’em-up. It’s set in a small area of a rural English down, where the land has been polluted, creating the rise of evil robotic super wasps poised to take over the insect kingdom. The game really surprised me when the main theme kicked in – a garage song about the biggity Buck Bumble. The developers, Argonaut, are particularly notable for creating the Super FX chip and Star Fox for the SNES.

My biggest complaint with Buck Bumble is the level design and graphics – its supposed to be set in the garden, but other than the very occasional sight – like a bench – it doesn’t really feel like you’re a small creature, and you just get to see lots of ugly browns and greens and there’s an immense amount of fog due to the poor draw distance.

The gameplay, however, is a lot of fun, with an impressive amount of different enemies getting a wasp-like makeover that you’ll need to content with. The controls are smooth and flying around is a lot of fun. The difficulty ramps up very quickly, though, and when you die you start the mission from scratch (the lives are for the pointless score system). You will find different weapons throughout the game, offering you lots of ways to dispatch your foes.

The game offers 19 levels. Most involving killing all enemies in an area, activating a switch for a door, while others have you transporting nuclear bombs. The levels do blend together a lot, though, with the game also throwing more and more enemies at you.

That said, Buck Bumble is an enjoyable game.

Buck Bumble is average in too many ways. Playable yet unspectacular, and rather workmanlike in execution, it’s a pleasant enough to wile away a few hours. Bur ‘Bee’-rilliant? Hardly.

-every space game looks the same and i can't tell which one is which anymore.

-40% of all sci-fi game are contractually obligated to put "EXO" in their title in some way, shape, or form.

-i'd be more surprised by fortnite having a lego game if i didn't know lego has made games (and actual lego) of every licenses under the sun.

“Ughhhh…what time is it? …Great, it’s already noon…” Charlotte said, slowly rising out of her bed. Her alarm clock read 12:05. She had slept in. Well, at least she didn’t have to go to work, since it was a weekend.

She could hear everyone downstairs, most likely making lunch or doing whatever. She slid on her slippers and was pulling on her sweatshirt, when she heard her door open.

“Hey! You’re up, finally. I had half a mind to wake you up myself.” said Tengen’s voice from her doorway. Charlotte rolled her eyes, slipping one of her arms through a sleeve and flipping him off.

Tengen scoffed. “Rude. Anyways, turn on some damn lights, you’re gonna turn into a vampire if you always sulk around in the dark. C’mon, it’s lunch time already.” he said, turning on a light switch.

Charlotte groaned and rubbed her face as the light hit her eyes, trying to adjust to the brightness. Even though it was pretty much noon, she was still tired as hell. But lunch did sound pretty good.

“Okay, fine. I’ll be down in like two seconds.” she said, shuffling over to her vanity. She heard Tengen close the door and his footsteps retreat into the hallway.

After freshening up a bit and prodding a bit at her face, she decided she looked decent enough to head downstairs. She grabbed her phone off of her nightstand and headed out her bedroom door.

She slowly made her way down the stairs, looking at any potential messages her friends or family had left her. Hmmm. That’s a bit odd. No one had texted her since yesterday. Her friends were pretty much always online, and her mother always bombarded her with texts asking about things.

But she hadn’t received a single one…

“I’m probably overthinking it…” she thought to herself. “they’re probably all busy or on vacation, or something.”

She put her phone in her pocket and descended the rest of the stairs. She saw Shinobu, Kanao, and Tomioka in the kitchen, most likely making lunch. She caught a glimpse of the butterfly triplets and Aoi playing outside, with Mitsuri watching them from the porch.

Everyone else was either in the living room or somewhere else around the house.

“Ah! You’re awake. Come, come, Lottie. Make yourself some food.” Tengen said, ruffling her hair. Charlotte rolled her eyes and headed towards the kitchen and to the refrigerator. She didn’t feel like making anything, so she grabbed some fruit and sat down on the couch.

Tengen sat down next to her not even a moment later, provoking a groan from her.

“Can’t I ever get rid of you for more than five minutes?” she grumbled. Tengen laughed beside her, and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

“Nope! The wonderful perks of having me as your best friend! Say, have you seen Zenitsu or Nezuko? I haven’t seen either of ‘em since they left.” he said.

Charlotte looked around the room before back at Tengen again.

“No, I haven’t, actually…do you know where they went?” she asked him. Tengen just shook his head. So apparently he didn’t know their whereabouts either.

“Come to think of it, Zenitsu was acting a bit strange when they left. All cold and stuff. Seemed frustrated, no, rushed. Like there was a reason he wanted the two of them to le—” he was interrupted by an alert coming from his phone.

Charlotte got one as well, as it was vibrating fervently in her pocket. Apparently the whole area had gotten the alert.

“‘Serial killer/cannibal on the loose?’ Sounds like bullshit to me.” Tengen said, putting his phone away. Charlotte began to feel uneasy by the alert. Everyone else’s phones had gotten the alert, as well, and began to move towards the living room.

“I don’t know, Ten…but what about Zenitsu and Nezuko? They’re still out there!” Charlotte said.

“You don’t think they’re hurt or anything, are they?” Aoi asked, coming in from outside with the butterfly triplets on her trail.

“Well…we can’t be positive unless we go look for them.”

“I’ll look for them! I’ll take Inosuke and Genya with me, as well!” Tanjiro piped up. Charlotte thought for a moment, before answering.

“Alright, Tanjiro. As long as you’ll be safe?” Charlotte asked.

Tanjiro nodded eagerly. “Yes! You have my word, Ms. Charlotte.”

And with that, the three of them headed out the front door.

“Do you think they’re alright? It’s been hours, now…” Kanao asked nervously, sitting next to Charlotte in the living room. Charlotte bit her lip.

“I don’t know, Kanao. Wherever they are, I’m sure they’re perfectly—” she was interrupted by her cellphone ringing loudly beside her.

Huh…Tanjiro’s calling her. Is something wrong?

“Hey guys? You might wanna come here.” she said, picking up the phone and putting it on speaker.

“Tanjiro? Hello? Is everything alright?”

“Charlotte! Thank goodness you picked up! I was worried we wouldn’t be able to get a hold of you all..” his voice sounded…panicked. Scared. And the connection was all off, too. His voice was glitching in and out, and the screen was lagging.

“Tanjiro? What happened? Where’s Inosuke and Genya?” Charlotte asked, a little panicked too.

“We’re here! I wish this was under better circumstances, though…” she heard Genya’s voice from the background.

“He’s gone crazy! Blood and guts everywhere…it was like he was eating her!” came Inosuke’s voice.

“Who? Who’s gone crazy?” Tengen asked.

“Zenitsu! He’s…he’s…” Tanjiro started, his voice breaking. Where those…tears?

“He’s what? What did he do?” Charlotte asked.

“He’s killed and eaten her! He killed Nezuko!” Genya said. Tanjiro shushed both of them as he frantically looked around. Charlotte noticed there were trees surrounding them.

“…Tanjiro…?”

Charlotte didn’t even get an answer before all hell broke loose. Tanjiro’s phone had fallen to the ground face down, but not before crimson blood flashed the screen.

They all heard screams coming from the phone, but the call disconnected after only a few seconds. Everyone sat in silence, not knowing what to do.

Charlotte felt something in her gut, deep, deep down. It wasn’t a good feeling, not at all. Something was wrong. So very, very, very wrong…

I got this LP record as a gift when I was younger, it was the first one of their albums that I owned and I listened to it sooo many times - so most of its songs have a special place in my heart. But "The unforgiven" is special to me (the whole 'trilogy'), I have a connection with it that I cannot put in words.

Lo he aceptado. Ya no me da pena decirlo. Amo a Metallica. De verdad. Los amo con mi estómago y mi corazón. Ya no me importa dar cringe, ya no me importa lo que los demás piensen. Ahora soy libre.

También he aceptado todo lo que conlleva ser fan de esta banda. A veces solo tengo que ignorar el hecho de que demandaron a sus fans y de que quitaron el bajo en ...And Justice For All y de que hicieron St. Anger y de que Jason Newsted fue víctima de bullying durante 14 años y de que Lars Ulrich es Lars Ulrich y nada más enfocarme en la música y no en sus actitudes problemáticas. Desde que aprendí a hacer eso, no solo con 'Tallica, soy más feliz. Sé que es una banda tan amada como odiada en el mundo del Metal, pero cualquiera que intente negar la fuerza e influencia de Metallica en la industria musical es un tonto.

Bueno, tengo que aclarar que mi disco favorito en realidad es Ride The Lightning, pero escogí este porque la portada combina más con los colores del blog. De todos modos, Kill 'Em All es increíble y es probablemente el mejor disco de Metallica porque es el que tiene más aportaciones de Dave Mustaine, que después formó Megadeth, que es significativamente mejor que Metallica. También me encanta porque es una basura, es agresivo, rápido, denso, sucio, metálico; James Hetfield suena a un adolescente frustrado, Lars está tocando la batería bien y sacándole jugo a ese doble bombo, Cliff Burton hace solos fascinantes en el bajo y Kirk Hammett simplemente está siendo Kirk Hammett. Además, los títulos de las canciones, como Hit The Lights (Pégale a las Luces), Anesthesia Pulling Teeth (Anestesia Sacándome los Dientes) y Seek and Destroy (Buscar y Destruir) le agregan más personalidad al disco.

No me importa lo que piensen los fans puristas defensores de Master Of Puppets, no me malentiendan, es una obra maestra del Thrash, pero Kill 'Em All es el mejor álbum de Metallica porque representa su esencia de la manera más pura, dura y desnuda. No se necesita argumentar mucho. Es bueno porque es bueno y punto.

If you mean major protagonist death then, no. Major villain death, yes on several fronts (nobody canon from the show, however)...
