A gorgeous deep blue, gold, and red-dominant uchikake (is it? I think the padding is small at the bottom, but there is SO MUCH EMBROIDERY o.o) Red lining throughout, but this is a fairly modern piece in excellent condition. Non-smoking home. I've been married ten years and really don't need as many kimono as I own, but I do need money for bills and medicine. I got dropped from insurance this year because I don’t make enough money... because I can’t work... but also am not eligible for disability. I’m on my third appeal. x.x Wish me luck!
In the meantime, I really hate having stuff in drawers that isn’t being appreciated, loved, or worn. What else are kimono for?

The pattern is mostly waves and cranes on... shikishi? Pieces of square paper, with kiku and other auspicious motifs.
