Aw man ok, I was SOOO down for Kenshall Denton getting what was owed to him. Especially after he betrayed the trio I was 100% down with the boys murdering that asshole but UNFORTUNATELY playing out Kenshall’s daddy issues like that in episode 42 just made him 10x more likable to me and made me genuinely feel bad for him when it turned out to be a grift after all AND then getting an honestly kind of horrifying ending

Theories????

Sooooo, I have been drawn out of my hole by the posts of @phennoraptor and @moreclaypigeons/@taakosleftshoe.

I bring you, stupid Montrose theories! (made by me and a friend who isn't on tumblr)

Montrobot, obvs. The fact he CANNOT interact with actually anyone other than his ''family'' properly. You don't like to think about the human mind?? Is that because you don't FUCKING HAVE ONE!?

My friends genius theory, what if Montrose was a Denton? His interactions with Kenshal don't really support this but, what if he was an estranged member of the Dentons who decided to work in Ustaben because he never got to live the childhood portrayed in its rides.

Same as the last one but, instead of being a Denton he was from a family who worked with animatronics and was put out of jobs because of headlight tech. Both this and the Montrobot theory provide an explanation of why his vice is talking to animatronics.
