Cine: Happy Campers (2001)

El campamento "Bleeding Dove" ("Paloma Sangrante") está a punto de comenzar sus operaciones y de recibir a los chicos que van a pasar un verano regado de naturaleza. Al mando del lugar está Oberon (Peter Stormare), que intenta dirigirlo siguiendo un plan estricto y detallado. Bajo su gobierno está un grupo de jóvenes que intentan seguirle el ritmo: el popular Wichita (Brad Renfro), el nerd Donald (Justin Long), la festiva Pixel (Jamie King), la obsesiva Wendy (Dominique Swain), la "outcast" (marginada) Talia (Emily Bergl), el sádico Adam (Jordan Bridges) y el gay Jasper (Keram Malicki-Sanchez).

Todo comienza a irse de control cuando Oberon queda temporariamente incapacitado debido a un accidente con un rayo, por lo que las tareas deben ser supervisadas por los consejeros. El problema es que los consejeros no son más maduros que los chicos a su cargo, por lo que dedican su tiempo a enrollarse entre ellos, a fumar hierba y a hablar de temas delicados, de índole sexual, ante los chicos.

La anarquía gobierna el lugar en esta comedia, también conocida como "Campamento de locura" en Latinoamérica y "Loca aventura" en España. Dirigida y escrita por Daniel Waters, presenta, además de Jasper y algún escarceo entre dos consejeras, la brevísima historia (la película se enfoca más en los personajes "mayores" que en los chicos), de Rick (Daniel Kumatz), uno de los pequeños, que se enamora de Jasper. Este suceso se esboza durante el relato, pero se termina de confirmar en los últimos instantes del metraje, cuando ambos mantienen una conversación muy abierta sobre el tema.

Disney Junior Dates Heroic January 11 Premiere For SuperKitties As Part Of The Start Of Disney’s 100 Years Of Wonder Celebration.

Kickoff 100 Years of Wonder with some paw-some news!

Disney Junior sets the premiere of SuperKitties for January 11 on Disney Junior with an initial batch of episodes dropping on Disney+ USA on the same day.

An album featuring the songs of the series will drop on digital musical services on January 13 via Walt Disney Records.

Justin Guarini has joined the voice cast in a recurring role as The Cat Burglar is, as his name suggests, a thief. If someone has it, he wants it. Always one step ahead, he enjoys playfully teasing the SuperKitties in their never-ending game of cat and mouse. He is all swag until you surprise him, then… cue the scaredy-cat!

The voice cast for the upcoming series includes Emma Berman as Ginny, Cruz Flateau as Sparks, JeCobi Swain as Buddy and Pyper Braun as Bitsy.
