I think I enjoy watching these behind-the-scenes videos even more than the show itself because they have this air of good old English theatre and display all these classical traditions which go back to the time of Shakespeare and Ben Johnson. When the actors need to change into different costumes, and do the voices, and take the inspiration from real people around them. And nobody thinks it's necessary nowadays. Such a shame that we are in danger of losing the spirit of the classical theatre.

P.S. When Mark was talking about costumes and make-ups I couldn't help but to think about Sian Brooke who will play four different characters in three episodes of 'Sherlock' and fool everyone. And why? Because she is a real Artist. And how many people who get all these awards' nominations can claim that nowadays?

If you haven't seen GHOST STORIES (2018), do yourself a favour! It's one of my favourites of the year. Creepy, darkly hilarious. Even has plenty to say about belief in the supernatural, or a lack thereof. Definitely some great spooky scenes. Also has one of the best songs ever used to go over the credits in a movie, just for the fact it's so fitting. Andy Nyman is so good in the lead role, & Martin Freeman, as usual, does good work, too. - Fun trivia: The movie's based on a play Jeremy Dyson wrote with Andy Nyman. 123) Okay guys this is for me, at the moment, the biggest surprise of 2018! Not only is this a breath of fresh air for the horror subgenre of haunting presences, but it’s a masterfully crafted story that plays with your brain until the final scene. Ghost Stories is about a well-known professor who is specialised in debunking fraudulent psychics on his TV show. He embarks upon a terror-field quest when he receives a lost file containing details of three cases of inexplicable hauntings. It’s actually an adaptation of a theatrical play written by same actors: Andy Nyman (who is the protagonist here too) and Jeremy Dyson. I really enjoyed the way it was conceived: we have a first act with a documentary that’s necessary to introduce the protagonist in a cool way; the central development analyses the three different cases; the third act simply is insane because it gets you emotionally invested. The script is perfect: all of the characters have psychological deep, and so the actors give amazing performances. Each case is both terrifying and interesting at the same time, the directors take their time to build suspense and sometimes the use of silence and camera movement is impeccable. I really enjoyed some citations involving demonic elements and particularly a big reference to Evil Dead. But the finale stands out because the brain see what he wants to see! You don’t know what to think about until the very last scene that creates a link with the first one. I won’t spoil it for you because I don’t want to ruin your vision. I know that most of you won’t enjoy this movie as much as I do, but it’s another great horror movie and I think we need more of this kind. It explores other genres and it has one of the best finals of the last years.
