He was looking for a particular recipe, one that could help to boost Takeo's energy levels and sleep a little more restfully at night. There was a cooking wine Letha used to make when she was still alive, including a certain blend of special herbs involving primordia root (which was damn near impossible to find these days), that aided in a number of natural bodily functions; She was always trying to find new ways to work good tidings into her cooking - and he hasn't had anything to eat that was anywhere near as good, or made with the same amount of love. "S'not like 'm goin' anywhere, darlin'."

His aim was to make an attempt; He would inevitably fail, he was not Letha and he would never insult her memory by insinuating he could ever hope to mimic even a fraction of her ability in the kitchen, but-- He wanted to try, to use this cooking wine in the next few meals he made for Takeo, to give him a little pep in his step and some good dreams. Loux wondered if Takeo's human body could take exposure to magical plants and part of him wanted to experiment just to see, but the want to help him superseded the rest. He thumbed through a few more pages, ignoring some of his more...stream-of-conscious rants on theoretical applications of magic according to each affinity, raw intelligence cheapened by relative emotional immaturity and a means to an end core philosophy. all very important stuff-- overshadowed by the re-discovery of his adoptive mother's recipe for what she apparently called A Mother's Love. He must've recorded this when he snuck into the kitchen for a bite or two of her green fairy peaches when he was nine. Or maybe later, before she died.

He settled his chin into the seat of his palm, words and drawn pictures moving across the pages, step-by-step explanations followed by expected results, and his free hand dug into the infinite pockets sewn into his haori. Yes, good, this would be his afternoon project, and afterward, he would make some meals for Takeo. Shrimp and grits would come first, then beignets with various sweet dips and powdered sugars, gumbo later-- He might've been getting a bit carried away.

Head lifted sharply, stormy gaze fixed on Takeo.

"D'ya 'ave any allergies? Herbal preferences? Wha' kin'a meat ya like? Beef, chicken, pork, crawfish? Ya wanna try somethin' new? Long as I cook it up, y'won' be disappointed, I can promise ya tha'. 'm real good in th' kitchen - Iffin ya trust me on anythang, it oughtta be tha' a'least."

Izzy will steal your entire identity because he can shapeshift. Unfortunately for him; his accent is still noticeable no matter what.

He just wants to destroy the earth at any cost because of his obsession with the aether; however that was killed off when Lumi shot him in the gut.

The marking on his stomach was cut off by a scar on his stomach which rendered it useless. He can't use it anymore.

He's trans and is still looking for a chosen name. He hasn't cut his hair yet due to feeling like it makes him more obvious.

He's ashamed of killing Jasper but mentioning it to him usually results in broken jaws.

He doesn't like Edward or Tank. He could care less about Nikolai and Takeo scares him.

He won't get a surgery to feel comfortable in his own skin because he doesn't trust anyone near his chest.

Felix looks innocent but Izzy has almost died before by killing Felix's previous lover; the only exception being Rudolph.

Izzy would set Felix up with people that he knew he could kill easily to bring Felix down to his level to use him.

He smokes marijuana to ignore the deafening pain in his side and back. Not because he thinks it's cool,He just likes to zone out for hours.

I just had to Illustrate these characters once I saw them. Topaz is extremely intimidating and she reminds me of Takeo Gouda from Ore Monogatari. If things like Hopes Chains and DFTH were big popular mainstream things like Danganronpa is, what do you think the popular au’s and ships would be and why? Also what are some things you think would happen in the fandom?

But yea this’ll be a long one because of course Mew inevitably went on a tangent, so buckle your seatbelts

(also this contains DFTH spoilers up to chapter 3 so if you haven’t read up to there, avert your eyes)

For DFTH......Oh god this will be long I can imagine that there would DEFINITELY be people willing to in any way shape or form somehow redeem Jasper. (like certain Ouma stans, but not all thankfully) With reasons like “but his parents abused him!” or “but [VERY HEAVILY CENSORED DUE TO ENDGAME SPOILERS]” or “but he’s gay for Rantaro so that means he’s a minority so he can’t be evil!” Stuff like that. Another thing is that seeing from what I’ve seen in the Chihiro (also Naoto even though she’s not DR) tag, there might be some people calling the chapter 2 twist transphobic and insisting that Yuuma is trans. (...Even though she was literally abused into living as a boy) Idk tho, I hope not Also I’ve seen a bunch of “Tsumugi is somehow not the mastermind” theories, so maybe people would make AUs of that? I can also see people making talentswap or pregame personality AUs because those are always fun. (either that or they just take the genderbends I made for an April Fools joke and do stuff with them) As for ships, since I have kinda been pushing Haruchiko and Mikayano I have a feeling those would be the most popular. Ranharu and Jastaro would also be up there, and I remember a bunch of people shipping Shionnade at the beginning of DFTH so that might also be up there.

As for Hope’s Chains, I unfortunately can’t go into as much detail as I want to without spoiling literally the entire fic. Oops. Though I can definitely see ship wars. Lots of them. The only ships I can mention here without spoilers are Katsumi/Hide and Katsumi/Daisuke, but there are a lot more involved. Just...Trust me on this. Takehana would get a lot of backing though. I mean they’re literally canon, what more can I say? The characters I can see getting the most fandom attention are Hotaru, Hide, Daisuke, Naoki, Takeo, Katsumi and probably Azami. Probably also Monochan and Usagi too. (oh yeah, Usagi still exists.) There would also likely be discourse regarding practically all of the twists, the rival and the mastermind, but I unfortunately can’t go into detail. Sorry. Though I can definitely see people trying to redeem the rival. ......Even though they’re literally irredeemable.

But anyway would it be weird if I said that I’ve practically been waiting to answer a question like this tysm dsdsds
