I'm confused though, what happened now that the talking about queerbait and homophobic storylines came back? Weren't we on a good place? Is it because of anything Finn said? Or is it because of the netflix completely horrendus parody in that other show? What did i miss? Because the show wasn't just homophobic, i have another comment to make on the fact that the caricature of will looked like one terrible dictator of the past century.
I was thinking about the people dressed with the bi and gay flag colors behind Mike and Will at Rink o mania and thinking about how much queer coding stuff there was on that scene alone and that if byler doesn't happen that's insane and malicious
The cartoon stuff is not involved, although I think that's disgusting but I'm telling you don't expect apologies from Italians they will just say that Americans are crazy for being offended because the mentality there is that one, I'm disappointed but not surprised, we are currently having state funerals for a criminal Mr. Berlusconi that died recently so that's what you get from my country and if you try to go against that they call you crazy and make fun of you
I don't know about that drawing being a reference to Hitler though because that's the style of the drawing the author does very often so I don't think that's intentional at least
I also don't think this guy in particular that writes the show is a bad guy in general, he's on the left from what I know but sometimes people don't think that some things are inappropriate in Italy and try to joke on everything and be a bit edgy even when it's not funny
Our culture is behind and here a 20yo dating a 16yo is looked at like something normal very often unfortunately and sometimes even a 30 + 17 relationship... They don't look at these 30yo like the pedophiles they are, they think it's okay...
So making a joke like this talking about two 14yo sleeping together is kinda "the less evil thing" one can do I guess, still not okay to me I think it was very inappropriate towards Mike and El that are 14 and a 40 year old guy shouldn't be saying that about children with that tone and it was also belittling Will's pain too much when that scene is very real and heartbreaking for real gay people

If it's fake, it's ALL fake
I'm not one to talk too much about the stunts, and I've said all of this over on Twitter, but I wanted to say it here too.
Rumors over Holivia in Italy have been rampant with not a lot of hard evidence. The few pictures we've seen have been far away, from the back, blurry, and worthy of being called "Wellington quality." Today we saw a close up of what was meant to be Harry's hands holding his phone, but not even an inch of his face. Honestly, I took one look at that photo and called bull--I've seen enough pictures of Harry's hands that I know he doesn't hold them that way. Don't get me wrong, it's close. It's close enough that it's supposed to make you believe it's him.
These blatant PR photos are meant to make you believe they are vacationing together. The PR machine is so effective, all it takes is a few well-placed rumors and some very dubious pictures for some people to believe our Harry is out gallivanting around Italy. If you believe them, then that's fine. That's what you're meant to believe. I won't fault you for that.
Personally, I believe this is 100% PR. They aren't really dating. So, IF that was really Harry, he left his villa for a few minutes for some pictures and they didn't even show his face. More likely, he lent someone his phone case, and a hoodie and voila, a man in black vans becomes Harry Styles.
How can a handful of PR photos make anyone a weak Larry when in the last year alone, we had a big ass H on Louis' shirt during his livestream; and then he changed his Spotify album covers to Harry's tattoo art on his birthday.
We had H walking around London wearing a blue bandana and trans flag colors in June and cosplaying as L in suspenders and red pants in Denver (wearing the peace ring) in September. So many coded messages on T-shirts and friends and family sending us clues.
Don’t let a few PR stunts change what the loud messages mean. If the stunt is fake; it’s all fake. THEY ARE CLOSETED. That means, they aren't going to reveal where they really spent the holiday. H is not vacationing in Italy with O, at the most he took a walk and some pics were taken. At the least, he lent his jumper to someone who you’re meant to think is him.
I also want to touch on the Christmas photo at the Tomlinsons. I also believe the whole BBG mess is a stunt. Everything I've read in the archives screams fake. And if it's fake, it's all fake. That photo could have been taken last summer. It could even have been taken ON Christmas, but it doesn't mean the child, or his family spent the holiday with any of the Tomlinsons. ONE picture does NOT make a family holiday. But it made so many people believe it was true.
Don’t let the hysteria on your timeline make you lose sight of what’s real. Use your eyes and your common sense to see through the Bull. I will leave you with this picture from @amymariephoto on Twitter.
I feel good about 2022. Happy New Year everyone.

Historical Paper Dolls: Ruffs
Last week, we discussed Gaulish fashion; today, we move...sixteen centuries forward, and discuss the fashion trend that makes your head look like a cake on a plate, viz., ruffs. Why? Because my story may or may not be taking a hard diversion into the late Renaissance/early Early Modern period. While there are some Sims outfits with ruffs attached, I’m going to focus on accessories.
I’m also letting my story characters do the modeling; you’re all familiar with Alasdair, of course, but I’d like to formally introduce Doña Isabel Guiomar Cañizares y Esposito. (Don’t call her Isabel. She hates that.) The little dog, Melitaia, actually belongs to Guiomar’s mother, Doña Delfina, but I miss my own little dog today, so I’m living vicariously through my Sims. (Alun and Joyeuse will return for the next installment, don’t worry!)
Initially, the ruff began as a simple drawstring ruffle on one’s chemise or shirt. Then, some enterprising individual realized that they could make the neck portion of one’s chemise separate, so that you could change the part that touched your neck (with its potentials for food spillage, sweat, and makeup to stain the fabric) and not have to constantly change and launder all of your underwear every time you spilled your wine. What began as a simple convenience for the wearer rapidly transformed into a fashion trend that took tens of yards of fabric, untold amounts of starch and dye, and resulted in the invention of specialized cutlery so that the wearer could eat or drink without interference from the ruff. You know, like any fashion fad.
Here, then, is the first expression of the ruff: a relatively modest frill of lace at the neck. The visible ribbon is seen in artwork of the era, although CAS is simply too clumsy to match the work of Durer and Holbein.
Of course, things could not remain simple for long; by the late 1500s, what began as a modest frill had quite increased. This is characteristic of ruffs by 1575 or so; Queen Elizabeth decreed that for her ladies in waiting, ten yards of fabric for a neck ruff and cuff ruffles was “enough.” However much fabric was used to make it, the ruffs were often dyed once they were finished. Some well-heeled individuals even dyed their ruffs with powdered cobalt, which Queen Elizabeth banned as the resulting blue color imitated the Scottish flag.
While the “head on a pile of cushions” look remained popular, especially in the more fashion-conservative areas such as Spain and the Netherlands, a new style emerged, one that emphasized horizontal width in addition to height and fluff. One common name for this style was the “millstone collar,” as the breadth was similar to a millstone. The millstone collar was also a unisex fashion, although men’s millstones were never quite as wide as the women’s millstones.
Male ruffs lost steam, for the most part, by the 1600s; they deflated and transformed into the Van Dyck collars that spread across the shoulders. (Except in the Netherlands, but even they eventually deflated and became floppy collars.) So we’ll leave Alasdair in this last, rather boring, ruff for now, I’m afraid.
Guiomar gets to demonstrate the lengths to which ruffs extended. The millstone ruff lingered longest for women in the Netherlands; the rather conservative dress code did not seem to flinch at ever-expanding and impractical ruffs, at least for the upper class.
Whether entirely made of lace--thus providing a jump-start to the lace traditions of Italy, among other places--or lace and linen, ruffs soon prevented the wearer from easily touching their own face, let alone feeding themselves effectively. It was, therefore, a status symbol.
Of course, this wasn’t exactly convenient for the person who desired to use regular-length cutlery. Therefore, the “Elizabethan compromise,” or the open ruff, was created. This style of ruff had a wedge cut out of the front, which allowed the wearer much more freedom. This style of ruff was often attached to the wearer’s dress, and the open space could be quite wide, in order to show off one’s decolletage.
This soon transformed into the gorgeous froth of wire and lace that was popularized by Marie de’ Medici, and became known as a Medici collar. All pretense of protecting clothes failed, but the aesthetic achievement was unparalleled.
The face and bust were framed by a vertical wedge or semi-circle of lace, creating a very dramatic look. (Much like the tumultuous reign and regency of Marie de’ Medici!) However, this was the last gasp of the ruff.
Thanks for reading! Now, go shopping!

Black In Fashion 2021
Black In Fashion Only black is the new black: a cultural history of fashion’s favorite shade When the group Time’s Up encouraged all actresses and actors who would walk the Golden Globes red carpet to dress in a show of solidarity against sexual harassment of women in Hollywood and other workplaces, the color it asked them to wear was black. On Jan. 30, a group of women in the US congress followed their lead, donning black for the first state of the union address by president Trump, who has himself been accused by numerous women of sexual misconduct. There is nothing about black that inherently signifies protest, but really no other shade would have sent so clear a message. There’s a reason country legend Johnny Cash also chose to wear black as a reminder to Americans of the everyday injustices in their midst. Black clothing has an undeniable power. Unlike red or green, which represent specific wavelengths of light, black isn’t exactly a color; it’s what we see when an object absorbs all visible wavelengths, putting it in a category by itself. Its singular darkness has a unique visual potency, and its adaptability has long made it open to interpretation by the numerous groups that have adopted it. Black connotes seriousness and diligence, as in the black worn by religious orders. It can be sinister or rebellious, like the black cloaks of witches or the black leather jackets worn by biker gangs. In many cultures, it’s the color of mourning. But it can simultaneously be the epitome of chic and sophistication, yet charged with eroticism. All these qualities have given black a distinctive position in fashion enjoyed by no other color. The Little Purple Dress is not famous. “Yellow tie” is not a recognized dress code. Only black will ever be the new black. Black is in Among the endless variety of colors and combinations that fashion retailers stock, black is a perennially popular choice. In a recent analysis of more than 183,000 dresses retailing online in the US, retail technology firm Edited found that about 38.5% were some shade of black, making it by far the most common color available. Only about 10.7% of dresses came in the second-most popular shade, white. EDITED Edited’s representation of the dress colors currently retailing online in the US. At the moment, black’s popularity also appears to be surging. According to Edited’s data, black dresses sold out in far greater numbers in the first few weeks of January 2018 than during the same period last year. Edited did point to Time’s Up having an effect, though it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s fueling the trend, since an increase in the availability of black clothing online predates the movement. From the third quarter of 2014 to the same time in 2017, Edited found that black clothing for women grew substantially at a number of fast-fashion brands—by 269% at Boohoo, 145% at Zara, 114% at H&M, and 89% at Forever 21. Katie Smith, the firm’s retail analysis & insights director, attributed it to the brands “using black to try and establish longevity of their ranges, and appeal to a wider customer base.” The numbers speak to the breadth and endurance of black’s appeal. It works with every skin tone, every body type, and is generally a safe choice for a purchase—because even if demand for it ebbs, it never goes out of style. AP PHOTO/FRANCOIS MORI Naomi Campbell in classic black on the Louis Vuitton fall-winter 2018 runway. A cultural history There’s no official start to the modern popularity of black in European and American women’s fashion. Historically it’s been a signifier of grief, dating back to at least the ancient Greeks. But it has also been widely coveted for its appearance. In his book The Story of Black, critic John Harvey notes that, though the Romans principally dyed clothing black for mourning, there are indications they prized it for its stylishness. In the 16th century, there was a vogue for black clothing—then notoriously expensive (pdf)—among Europe’s wealthy, from Spanish nobility in the south to Dutch merchants in the north. But a convenient turning point in black’s more recent reign arrived around the early 20th century. That, Harvey writes, is when black “came to centre stage.” The spotlight fell squarely on it in 1926, with the introduction of Chanel’s famed little black dress. THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART/MARTIN SECK An array of Little Black Dresses from the Museum of Modern Art’s “Items: Is Fashion Modern?” exhibit. Just prior to that period, black was the standard uniform color for domestic servants and the “shopgirls” who staffed retail shop floors. Social norms, however, were losing their trappings of formality. Sportswear was beginning its rise, and hemlines already climbing higher, as young society women moved away from eras of lavish, restrictive gowns. Shelley Puhak describes in The Atlantic how the upper classes co-opted the easy, modern shopgirl style for themselves. “By the early 1900s, socialites who wanted to appear especially youthful and edgy donned little black dresses,” she writes. When Vogue put a sketch of Chanel’s simple, practical black dress on its cover in 1926, calling it “The Ford” of a woman’s wardrobe, it seemed to make official a new era in women’s clothing. It also promoted black as smart, elegant, attractive. AFP/GETTY IMAGES Coco Chanel lounging in black in 1944. In addition to fashion, black had another powerful force helping it to stand out: film. “The other great promoter of the Little Black Dress was the camera, especially the movie camera,” art and costume historian Anne Hollander wrote in her excellent 1984 essay (pdf). A novel world of entertainment, romance, and movie stars was opening up to an eager publicall in black-and-white. The brilliance of black Black’s effect on the eye gives it an irresistible visual appeal. “A black dress seems to make the body neater and smaller and to unify the parts,” Hollander declares. “Since many bodies are not slim and lack either perfect harmony or absolute coordination, a black dress can help give them that delicious resemblance to a stretch limousine that seems so desirable in the present fashion climate.” Yet black has a remarkable tendency to be distinctive without overshadowing the wearer, in a sense amplifying the person. Hollander points to a scene in Anna Karenina, where Anna attends a ball. Tolstoy describes another woman, Kitty, remarking on her black gown. She realizes that Anna could not have worn lilac, that she was most alluring when she stood out from her clothing. “And the black dress with luxurious lace was not seen on her;” Tolstoy writes, “it was just a frame, and only was she seen.” While it’s not exactly analogous, a recent study of male birds-of-paradise reveals an intriguingly similar power in their black plumage. The birds are well-known for their bobbing courtship dance, but according to the researchers, it’s actually their coloring that determines their success in mating. The mostly black birds raise their wings to form a light-absorbing field, causing their other colors to appear all the more brilliant. “The juxtaposition of darkest black and colors create to bird and human eyes what is essentially an evolved optical illusion,” explained Harvard University evolutionary biologist Dakota McCoy. “This study shows us that black makes us glow.” On male humans, black is often seen as dignified and levelheaded. In his Book of the Courtier, a sort of guide to life in the aristocratic courts of Renaissance Italy, Count Baldassare Castiglione states that black is the preferred color for a man, or at least something dark. Harvey points out in The Story of Black that black has been the standard for men’s evening wear since the 1810s, in large part thanks to the advocacy of Beau Brummell. The name may be familiar to some men. He’s widely considered the inventor of the modern men’s suit and a sort of founding father of contemporary menswear. AP PHOTO Sean Connery on the set of the James Bond movie “You Only Live Twice” in 1966. Black’s hold on high-fashion AP PHOTO A black chiffon cocktail dress from Balenciaga shown in 1957. In the decades since Chanel’s compact black number graced Vogue‘s cover, numerous designers have adopted and elevated black for their own purposes. Cristóbal Balenciaga used it for his elegant, architectural silhouettes, and Yves Saint Laurent for his androgynous “le smoking” women’s tuxedo. In the latter half of the 20th century, it became closely linked to fringe groups and rebellion. Bikers and beatniks donned black. Then, the Japanese design wave of Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons made a new art form of the black look. Fashion journalist Suzy Menkes asked Yamamoto what was behind his well-known predilection for black in a 2000 interview for the International Herald Tribune. Yamamoto’s response has evidently summed up the feelings of black’s devotees so well that it has circulated for some time on social networks such as Tumblr and Instagram. ”Black is modest and arrogant at the same time,” he said. “Black is lazy and easy — but mysterious….Black can swallow light, or make things look sharp. But above all black says this: ‘I don’t bother you — don’t bother me!'” Given black’s adaptability and allure, it’s little wonder it remains a popular choice for all sorts of styles today. Black-obsessed artisanal menswear designers deploy it for their exquisite leather jackets. Designers such as Ann Demeulemeester have gravitated toward its romanticism, others like Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing to its sleekness. Black colors fancy cocktail parties, and goth kids match their clothes to their black eyeliner as readily as socialites thrown on black for a night out. By all indications, its attraction isn’t diminishing. We’ll be flying the black flag for years to come. Wen Yi: A scholar and teacher employed by the Imperial government. Flying a Flag
Usually nations have a flag to represent their country. And usually that flag means something.
While you could get away with just saying the nation's flag was flying, you might want to give it a little detail. But where to start?
The point of this post is to show the history and symbolism of real flags in order to give you some ideas should you decide to design flags for your nations. If you find yourself disliking a design, don't necessarily toss it- remember that there are real nations that have undergone redesigns. The one you don't like can just end up a part of your nation's actual history.
Flag of the United Kingdom
It's officially called the Union Flag, though many call it the Union Jack. The nickname “Union Jack” was actually meant only for Union Flags on the sea, though it's also called the Union Jack when it appears in the corner of the New Zealand and Australian flags.
The Union Flag is a combination of three flags: St. George's Cross of England (the vertical and horizontal red bars), St. Andrew's Cross of Scotland (the blue triangles and the white X), and St. Patrick's Cross of Ireland (the red X).
In the early sixteen hundreds, Scotland and England were separate countries with their own flags (St. George's Cross and St. Andrew's Cross). When King James of Scotland became king of England, he combined the two flags to symbolize the unity between the two nations. A little over a hundred years later, Queen Anne made the flag the official flag as the two nations had joined to make Great Britain. A century later Ireland's flag of St. Patrick's Cross was added to the Union Flag when Ireland joined Great Britain.
White: Peace and honesty.
Blue: Vigilance, truth, loyalty, perseverance and justice.
Red: Hardiness, bravery, strength, and valor.
The flag is flown from 11am to sunset when a new Sovereign is proclaimed. It is flown at half-mast from government buildings during the time of mourning and on the day of the funeral of a member of British Royal Family, and on the days of the funerals of a foreign Head of State and former British Prime Minister.
Flag of the United States of America
It has no official name and is normally referred to as the American flag. Though it does have several different nicknames, such as the Stars and Bars, the Stars and Stripes, the Red, White, and Blue, the Star Spangled Banner, and Old Glory. Old Glory was the name of a specific American flag owned by William Driver, and inspired the nickname for other flags. The original Old Glory is on display.
The first American flag after it was declared its own nation had thirteen bars, alternating between red and white, and a blue rectangle in the corner with thirteen stars in a circle (known as the Betsy Ross flag). The stars and the stripes represented the thirteen colonies, now states. From its first design the American flag has undergone 27 modifications, the current flag still having the thirteen stripes to represent the original thirteen states and fifty stars to represent each state in the union.
Red: Valor, hardiness, and sacrifice.
White: Purity, innocence, and peace.
Blue: Vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
The American flag is lowered to half-staff (not half-mast) when the whole nation is in mourning. 30 days at federal buildings, grounds, territories, and naval vessels for when the president or former president has died, 10 days for the vice president, the chief justice, a retired chief justice, or the chief speaker of the House of Representatives. States may lower the flag for the death of someone important in the state.
Flag of Japan
The official name of the Japanese flag is Nisshoki (the sun-marked flag). It is also called the Hinomaru (the sun disk, or circle of the sun).
The Nisshoki is simply a white flag with a red circle in the middle, meant to represent the sun. The flag embodies Japan's nickname of the Land of the Rising Sun.
The Nisshoki was adopted as the merchant flag in 1870. It wasn't until 1999 that the Nisshoki became the official flag of Japan. The oldest existing flag, older than the 16th century, is being preserved. In January 1949, all restrictions on the flag were abolished and people were allowed to fly the flag without permission.
Red: Representation of the goddess Amaterasu, who was said to have founded Japan.
White: Honesty and integrity.
In time of mourning, the Nisshoki may be lowered to half-staff, or a mourning flag may be placed above it. The flag may fly from sunrise to sunset, though businesses and schools are permitted to leave the flag up when they are open and lower the flag when they are closed.
Flag of Italy
In Italian, the flag is known as the Il Tricolore, translated into English as the Tricolor.
The Italian flag has three thick vertical bars: Green, white, and red respectively. Past designs before the current flag was established in 1948 had emblems, differing on the time period. The 1805 flag kept the three colors, though it was red with a white diamond, and a green box in the diamond with an emblem. The Sardinia flag of 1848 did not have the green, white, and red design, instead going with an almost completely blue flag with a red and white design in the corner.
The colors of the flag do not necessarily represent virtues as the previously mentioned flags do. The Italian flag was a combination of a couple of flags when it was joined together. The red and white came from the flag of Milan (a white flag with a red cross for St. Ambrose- not unlike the St. George Cross) while the green represented the region's military. However, meanings for the colors have been added in, such as the green represents the hills or white represents faith.
The flag may be flown from sunrise to sundown, with the exception of bad weather, and only displayed at night if properly illuminated.
Flag of Sudan
The flag of Sudan does not have an official name or nicknames it is known by. It is simply the Sudanese flag. It should not be confused with the South Sudanese Flag.
The previous flag of Sudan when Sudan gained independence from Britain and Egypt was a tricolor flag of blue, yellow, and green horizontal bars. In 1970, the current design of the Sudanese flag was adopted. It now has for colors: Red, white, and black horizontal bars with a green triangle on the side pointing towards the middle.
Red: Sudan's struggles for independence and the country's matyrs.
White: Peace, love, light, and optimism.
Black: The people of Sudan.
Green: Islam, agriculture, and prosperity of the land.
While I had intended to do more, I did not wish to overload you. This is, after all, just to get you started on thinking about how to bring the story of your nation's flag about, what it stands for, and maybe even consider some design ideas.
The history of the flags is not extensive. There are also many more guidelines on flag protocol for some of the flags, which may help you figure out some of your country's flag protocols. Some protocols are affected by the UN's own rules. Other countries may not necessarily have flag protocols. Some of those protocols will go into detail about how the flag should be made, such as the specific color code and the size of the flag.
But a few things to note:
Colors don't always represent a virtue.
Countries that originate from another country will have their view on colors influenced.
Flags can spark a feeling of national pride or rally discouraged soldiers. Someone doesn't always have to agree with their country's actions to feel pride when they see their country's flag.
No design is set in stone. A country years later may decide to change their flag's design.
If you want to give your nation’s flag a nickname, have fun with it. Though I would encourage you to look at it through the eyes of your nation. After all, “Old Glory” and “Hinomaru” were less of what the flag looked like and more about what it represented.

Global pharmaceutical inks market estimated to reach us$ 4.7 BN by 2026
The global pharmaceutical inks market was valued at US$ 2.8 Bn in 2017 and is anticipated to expand at a CAGR of more than 5.0% from 2018 to 2026, according to a new report by Transparency Market Research (TMR) titled ‘Pharmaceutical Inks Market – Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends, and Forecast, 2018–2026.’ Pharmaceutical inks are used on pharmaceuticals to print vital information about medicines such as name, manufacturing location, and expiry date. These inks are also used to print designs, logos, and colors on medicines. Furthermore, they are employed in interior and exterior packaging of medicines.

Increase in Health Awareness to Boost Market
Awareness about health is rising rapidly in developing countries such as Brazil, China, and India. Increasing number of people in these countries are able to purchase medicines. Consequently, the consumption of pharmaceuticals has risen in the last few decades. This is directly boosting the consumption of pharmaceutical inks. These inks are used in pharmaceuticals to print important information. They are also used to print designs and colors on medicines. Furthermore, they are employed in interior packaging and exterior packaging of medicines. Thus, the consumption of pharmaceutical inks is expected to increase along with the rise in consumption of pharmaceuticals.
Need to Select Right Solvent
Technological improvement in manufacturing processes and increase in demand for pharmaceuticals have led to faster production of pharmaceuticals. Production of pharmaceutical inks needs to keep pace with the production of pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, these inks need to dry quickly after their application on packaging or medicines. Pharmaceutical ink manufacturers have started employing various solvents to aid the drying process. However, the use of wrong solvents can adversely affect the environment as well as the health of patients consuming pharmaceuticals. Solvents need to be selected after careful consideration. This has adversely affected the development of new pharmaceutical inks, thereby hampering the market.

Partnerships between Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Pharmaceutical Ink Manufacturers to Drive Market
A wide range of pharmaceutical inks are available in the market. This can confuse pharmaceutical manufacturers. However, pharmaceutical ink manufacturers, who employ ink chemists and coding specialists, can help narrow down the choice for pharmaceutical manufacturers by considering various factors such as production environment, weather conditions, material to be printed upon, types of solvents, recyclability, environment-friendly requirements, and pace of manufacturing the inks.
Global Pharmaceutical Inks Market Segmented Based on Type, Pharmaceutical Type, Application, and Region
In terms of type, the global pharmaceutical inks market has been segmented into water-based, solvent-based, edible inks, and others (including custom solvents). The solvent-based segment accounts for prominent share of the pharmaceutical inks market, as these inks offer advantages such as low cost and efficiency of printing. Based on pharmaceutical type, the market has been segregated into solids, semi-solids, and liquids. The liquids segment holds major share of the market. Liquid pharmaceuticals require large amount of pharmaceutical inks because of the larger surface area covered by their packaging. Based on application, the global pharmaceutical inks market has been classified into capsules, interior packaging, and exterior packaging. The exterior packaging segment constitutes dominant share of the market, considering the wide range of information that needs to be printed. This includes name of the product, company, logos, and manufacturing and expiry details. In terms of region, the market has been split into North America (the U.S. and Canada), Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, and Rest of Latin America), Europe (Germany, the U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Russia & CIS, and Rest of Europe), Asia Pacific (China, India, Japan, ASEAN, and Rest of Asia Pacific) and Middle East & Africa (GCC, South Africa, and Rest of Middle East & Africa). Europe is the prominent consumer of pharmaceutical inks, primarily due to the large amount of pharmaceuticals manufactured and the higher price of pharmaceutical inks in the region.
High Level of Competition in Fragmented Market
Pharmaceutical inks is a highly fragmented market with a large number of local manufacturers. The market also consists of multinational companies such as Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co. Ltd., Videojet Technologies Inc., Markem-Imaje, and Sun Chemicals. It is relatively easy to enter the pharmaceutical inks market; hence, the numbers of players in the market are expected to increase during the forecast period.

Allies and axis's reaction to their s/o wearing their flag themed lingere
America:“I mean…you look great…but…why?”Section 8.d of the American flag code says the flag should not be used as clothing, drapery or bedding. So Alfred being the classic nerd/country he is, would be confused at how and why his s/o had American flag lingerie. (Though he knows unfortunately no one reads the code like he does…) He would admit they look nice, but he would prefer to see their natural body…or anything else on them. But points for trying!
England: “Is that my flag?…I didn’t even know they made lingerie of it…I blame Scotland…”Arthur would blink and look at his s/o before raising an eyebrow slowly…his flag…as lingerie? He would be confused, annoyed and almost offended…almost. Unless it was the specific flag of England, all he would be able to think about is that his brothers put his s/o up to this. And he would not be happy. He would almost immediately ask his s/o to take it off and get rid of it. If they wanted to look sexy for him, anything else would be better.
France: “Oh..! Mon cher~…For me?”Francis would genuinely be happy that his s/o wore something sexy, especially that they’re in his colors, but he would chuckle and shake his head; he’d prefer lace rather than his flag. As long as it was once, he’d enjoy it. But he’d have more fun getting under the lingerie.
Canada: “You…wore that for me?…Wow..”Matthew would be more shocked over the fact that he is staring at someone in lingerie, it would take him a minute before he even realized it was in his flag. Of course, at first he would nervously laugh considering the colors are red and white…so the red maple leaf would make him worried, before he’d relax and just appreciate the gesture. After all, they went out of their way to do something for him.
Russia: “Huh? Oh! That is my flag!”Ivan honestly would even notice the lingerie was the colors of his flag, but when he did he would chuckle before kissing his s/o and patting their head. He’d be happy to know that they’re enthusiastic about wearing the Russian flag, but chuckle at their choice of attire. But as soon as he takes their Russian themed Lingerie off of them, they’d have another Russian on them.
China: “Where did you get that? Yao wouldn’t realize for the longest time that it was his flag. He would just think they are wearing red lingerie until he saw the stars. Then he would just shake his head. He would think he was going blind at first since he missed it for so long, but he would enjoy the show nonetheless. Old man didn’t expect to still be getting it, or a pretty show beforehand.
Germany: “Ja? Oh…oh…that is nice…and..wait are those…yes they are…”Ludwig would be all for it, until he realized it was his flag colors. The lingerie would be the first thing on his mind, though once his brain got back into reality and processed the colors he would sigh. German colors aren’t the most flattering…he wouldn’t pass up the opportunity…but he would recommend more leather in the future…for science, obviously?
Italy: *barely processes that it is his flag colors* “Oooooh hi there…”Felicano would be so into his s/o showing up in lingerie it wouldn’t even be funny. The happy go lucky man would be gone and replaced with a hungry Italian…what can we say? Italians don’t mess around~ Though maybe later he would realize that the lingerie was in his colors. And he would get a good chuckle and a smile out of it, but he would be completely s/o-centered.
Japan: “Huh? Oh…that is my flag.”Kiku would be more caught off guard at his s/o surprising him with lingerie. Once he processed that the red dot was his flag, he would relax a little bit. At first, he would think the worst, then think it was Twister, then understand it was his flag. Overall, he would politely tell them that he would prefer other outfits for them, but he appreciates the effort and the time they put into it.
