contemplating going back to school, back into debt, just so I can be qualified on paper for a job I'm already kinda doing unofficially...and get paid better for it. just to be able to live a comfy life without feeling crushed by thoughts of slight overspending/surprise expenses/medical emergency/vet emergency meaning I can't make rent or pay for gas (necessary for a two hour commute by transit that will ruin my mental health and make me genuinely want to die otherwise) and not cut fruit out of my diet bc it's too expensive

Bad news after bad news from creators I enjoy in this fandom. It breaks my heart. Almost makes me not want to finish what I've been writing...

Key word is almost.

I have been in fandoms that have torn themselves apart, and still see wonderful artists and fic writers churn out work despite it all. Because they love the fandom.

Hope that, despite it all, we still can keep doing that.

I was just brushing my hair and suddenly this loud ass rain starts pounding outside. And when I say loud, I mean LOUD. It caught me off guard, and looking out the window only left you seeing a sheet of rain. It lasted for like a few minutes, then just kind of calmed down. It's still pouring it out there, but not as strongly as it was a few minutes ago.
