another tip: make your own to add ON TOP of these but use your artist handle. I personally turned mine into a custom brush that I randomly scribble over my work with. I then select the pixels in that layer and drop whatever colours I want into random places use a flat opaque brush. Then I use a blender brush to mash the colours together. Then, I add another layer and take a brush that can vary it's width by pressure (or even just randomly) and preferably with stuff along the lines. Then I repeat the colour process. Using a gradient can work too. Layer that either on top or under these disruptors. Chances are if someone tries to remove it, they have a chance to remove your art instead. Watermark removal AI works by detecting smooth and straight lines that are typically used, like in stock photos. That's typically why stock photos typically have dashed or dotted lines over them instead of unbroken lines. Disclaimer: This is not a be all end all protection. Which is why I say that if you do this, use it in conjunction with other methods like the images above and even Glaze and Nightshade if you want to. Is it fucked that we, as artist, have the need to do all this shit just to protect our own intellectual property? Abso-fucking-lutely. But until genAI finally becomes such an ouroboros that it self destructs on itself, protect your art.
AI disturbance overlays for those who don't have Ibis paint premium. found them on tiktok
