On February 2012, when Davis Motomiya and Veemon were making ramen, a giant Digi-Egg appeared in the sky. They then met someone who claimed to be the first ever person partnered to a Digimon, however despite having a Digivice the DigiDestined had no Digimon Partner with them.

My request is my usual request of a teenaged/young adult Osamu Ichijōji from an AU where he lives and improves his relationship with Ken. Some ideas, only if you can’t think of anything (obviously I’m not asking for all of these!):

Looking after Ken as he sleeps, recovering from the Dark Seed’s deactivation

Helping Ken hide Wormmon from their parents

Bonding with Leafmon while Ken isn’t home

Worriedly watching his computer while Ken is doing something dangerous in the Digital World

With his own partner, Kudamon (2010 version)

Working part time at a bookstore during college

Just randomly remembered a crossover idea I randomly had that I wanted to share. I sometimes headcanon that Kōichi gained the ability to communicate with the dead after his experiences in Frontier. At some point he befriends the Zero Two kids and comes over to the Ichijōji apartment for a Christmas party, and lends Osamu his body for the evening so he can play cards with his brother.

I'm weak to this kind of stuff.

Regardless, this is so sweet! If this were to happen, would Osamu let Ken know? Or would he keep it a secret and enjoy the time they're having? I'm curious!

The pilgrims’ hymn for Ichijōji Temple (一乗寺) in Kasai, Hyōgo Prefecture, from a hymnal for the thirty-three temples of the western pilgrimage circuit dedicated to Kannon Bodhisattva (観音菩薩)

My own rough, tentative translation follows:

Number Twenty-Six: Mount Dharma Flower Ichijōji Temple (Tendai School) in Kasai District, Harima Province

Hokkesan, Sakamoto Neighborhood, Kasai City, Hyōgo Prefecture

A hymn for Holy Kannon:

Cherry blossoms in  Spring, orange blooms in summer, Chrysanthemums in Fall, but ever the flower of the wondrous dharma here
