I will always laugh about how SVN Ryoma is based off of Go manga Ryoma in terms of design cause the personality whiplash will never not crack me up.

SVN Ryoma is one of few Ryomas who actually got away from the Getter for good and gets to live his life, you can tell just by the little we see of him that while he still got his fighting spirit he’s so happy and mellow and is definitely a Ryoma you can chill with-

it was no secret what lucy gray's political opinions were. coming from a poor family that barely got by, she'd learned at a young age that most rich people, especially politicians didn't give a fuck about families like hers. when she'd made it big, she didn't forget where she came from. instead, she chose to use her newfound wealth to help others, donating directly to those in h need. she was vocal on her public accounts about her stance on every issue, making it clear that she did not support the current president, crassus snow. what made it difficult was when she'd met his son at an event, not knowing who he was. she'd fallen for the tall blond with the gorgeous icy blue gaze.

their relationship wasn't one that was advertised to the public, the two of them agreeing to be more private for their own reasons, her own being that she didn't want people speculating on how their relationship was going or when they'd 'inevitably' break up. even with that, it still hurt that coriolanus had ditched their plans yesterday for some airhead heiress that has made comments talking poorly on lucy gray and her music before. ' all of her songs are about her breakup. ' oh, that had infuriated the brunette.

There’s a lot of more recent stuff that I’m extremely extremely proud of on a technical level, but I’m prouder of this paragraph below on a deeper more existential level.

This paragraph was one of the first parts of WWGATTAI i ever wrote—august 12, i think, well before I had fully realized the characters’ voices or their attitudes towards life/each other; I only had about 5k written of what is now a 300k+ project (at the time of writing this paragraph i wanted it to be 10k max) and had no real outline, didn’t know who or what I was dealing with, hadnt seen TGM in two months, had done no research (so it’s not at all politically/militarily accurate or anything, why the FUCK is ice going to fucking GUAM)—and STILL this wound up being my favorite paragraph in the entire fucking series. not to suck my own dick or anything. I’m STILL so proud of this paragraph, 9 months and 275k+ words later, even though i Absolutely Would Not write it this way now.

happy 1 year anniversary to the election results that were so fucked they had me trying to take my mind off of things by watching what seemed like a toxic chinese queerbait show only to find something far more thoughtful and genuinely queer and interesting than expected and end up watching a bunch more unrelated things that are talked about in vaguely the same realms of the internet and then watch bad buddy twice in a row and fall into an endless bingewatch of thai media (some of which is mediocre, some of which is bad, much of which is simply pretty good, and some of which is genuinely incredible) and go, well, it would be a waste of all this language input i'm accidentally giving myself right now if i didn't at least learn a few words. thus accidentally locking myself into watching even more thai media because now i gain serotonin from hearing a sentence i know i could write

The fall of Stratos

The concept of esmp s2 Joel almost dying in battle with an old familiar face.

While he fights for his life, the other emperors are none the wiser. It's only until the fountain in Critter City starts desperately spitting out wine, turning the water a deep crimson, that Lizzie realises something is off.

And It's only until Scott of Chromia hears a rumble and when looking up he sees the Eye of Stratos tumble out of the sky, distroying a gigantic part of Lower Stratos and taking many citizen down with it, that he realises something is deeply wrong.

And when the stalactites fall from the cave ceiling in Gobland and Head of Gobland hastily escorts his companions outside, that he notices the dust rising up from the neighboring kingdom.

There's no one in Sanctuary. Except for Joel. The protector of this place has long been banished from the realm, and only a shadow of him remains.

Joel watched as the shadow dissapears, axe abandoned deeply inside the (former) God's chest.

Perhaps, with the last power he had, he'd crawl towards the ocean. Maybe he'd stare into the deep blue and smile has he realises he might finally go home.

The emperors would be none the wiser, because when they evantually got there, there was no God to be found.
