ok so!! my first recommendation is to see if there is a mask block near you, in my area it was CRANE (covid resistance action northeast), they're having trouble stocking and filling orders rn so mine took ~a month to arrive but the time would've passed anyway as they say . if ur in a more urban area ur a lot more likely to have one near u tbh, idk if it'd work but it'd be worth reaching out to the closest one even if they're not technically working in ur exact area just to see . here's a map of mask blocs worldwide- they're mostly in america (continent - but mostly in the US+canada) & europe (mostly in great britian) but there are some others too

otherwise the safest way to get some that are 100% not counterfeit is ordering directly from a supplier, but that can be expensive . project n95 is inactive now but theres still a list of suppliers there !! 3m is really good from experience . u can also get n95s/kn95s/p100 respirators from home depot if u have one near u- however the supplyaid kn95s they sell arent very good, i had them and theyre better than nothing but they only have a 67% filtration rate (as opposed to the 95% expected from n95s and kn95s - thats what the 95 stands for i was mindblown when i discovered this)

also while im thinking about it, part of the reason n95s are more protective than kn95s despite both filtering 95% of particles is bc the seal on the n95 is a lot more reliable than the kn95 :}

me personally ive been getting mine from amazon (not recommended) (i have gift cards there so im not giving them My money at least) and trying my best to make sure they're legit . i referenced the 3m n95 1870s i got using this twitter thread and they seem to be legit? on amazon it also usually says where it ships from and check the storefront, the reviews etc etc. i basically have to do an entire vetting process every time its very annoying ❤️ it is a lot less expensive though, especially if they have a sale going . (here are the ones ive been getting- the listings look the same as of rn but amazon changes them all the time so take this with a grain of salt, person i imagined reading this in 2027. link 1, link 2)

ive tried the holy trinity (new term i made up for the 3m n95 1870 (red straps), 3m n95 9205 (blue straps), and 3m n95 9210 (braided white straps)) -- ime the 9210 definitely has the tightest head straps and i have an abnormally small head on account of being 3 inches tall and born in a thimble all alone . so thats something to be aware of, if u have an abnormally big head the 3m auras might not be the best bc of the strap tightness .

SORRY I'M LIKE INFODUMPING AT U NOW ..!! i have more though . If you know anyone irl who masks asking them where they get theirs might help, they might know stuff locally. ALSO speaking of knowing stuff locally- i don't know if this is universal but i have a friend who's getting really into asian cuisine and a lot of asian grocery stores ive been to with her in my area have had masks. that's such a long shot but ive seen them five out of six stores ive gone to and never at, like, hannaford or market basket or whatever.

the story is more of a vibe and a few scenes than solid right now but its like. setting building (track, friendgroup, home life) -> fakeout (dog bite) -> actually initiating problem (theres several versions of this and im not sure which one im doing yet) -> she has to LEAVE and everything gets fucking crazy and there is no structure beyond this point minus random scenes and throwaway characters (roadkill, hospital, living room, van, cliff,,,,,, idk theres a lot of random scenes, probably something w/her brother )

sexuality advice

something that helped me was trying not to define my attraction. at first, what that looked like it just saying, “okay. im bi.” as if i had always been bi. then i started looking at my attraction as if i had always been bi. if i had always been bi, would i have said i had a crush on this girl? if bring bi was the norm, would i think i were attracted to her?

later down the road, it was saying i was unlabelled. it took me a while to get there because i spent so much time thinking about my sexuality, but when i did it was extremely freeing. i could just say that i liked everyone in a different way and not worry about gender.

so i guess what im saying here, is try out the aueer labels. maybe not to your friends, maybe just to yourself, but try them out and see if they make sense. after all, youve been trying out straight for a long time.

also, stupid thing but something that helped me A LOT: make a self insert character. what is your immediate impulse to give them for sexuality?

you can say youre straight and like women. you can say youre bi and mainly be attracted to men. you can say youre queer and not put a label on it. you could look for microlabels that fit. but realistically, its up to you to decide what you want to call it.

and, just for the record? straight people usually don’t question that much. not saying you are bi, but your feelings are valid.

damn this is like actually a hard one………………….you want a long lasting citrus. and a bergamot at that???? citrus itself is just a really volatile ingredient/note that tends to be very fleeting it does not like to stick around it says its goodbyes very quickly unfortunately :( and bergamot is a very common note. like youre going to find it in basically everything as a top note! but rarely do you find it as a shining star like center stage in a fragrance i have found.

that being said i have not personally sampled this but le labo bergamote 22 may be what you want? i dont know. le labo is notorious for making scents that dont smell a damn thing like what theyre named after. apparently it has decent longevity though! idk though i literally dont know

and then i love me some atelier cologne they do citrus like no one else! they have pulled their frags out of the states but you can still find them floating around and i think their longevity issues are overstated tbh. they have a bergamot cologne its bergamote soleil it looks delicious. this would be worth hunting down i think

and then theres always guerlain bergamote calabria or the acqua di parma with the long name but you most certainly will not get much longevity from them unfortunately :(((((( its just how citrus is a lot of the time!!! the curse of being a freshie lover. if youre willing to make a concession and want something similarish citrus-wise then byredos bal d’afrique OR atelier cologne vetiver fatal (which is near identical) both have decent longevity and smell amazing and are very crispy and citrusy and fresh! so i would recommend trying those too. im sorry i couldnt help you more mwah

I'm disabled. my very existence in unfortunately a strain on others as i have to rely on them and my family is very very poor. if i went into a coma, that would be a further cost to those i love and there's nothing that feels worse to me than knowing i cant do anything but take and take from everyone around me

if i died earlier, people could move on and ik for a fact that that would most likely be beneficial to my family. I've cut off contact with them before and they thrived in my absence and it was when i moved back in that everything went back downhill. maybe that was a coincidence but I can't help but feel like that was my fault, that I'm some sorta bad luck charm to them all? idk im just finally in a place where, though everything still hurts just as much as it did before, i can truly say i dont want to die?

its probably selfish of me to consider but a part of me wants to pick the coma bc it's a guarantee that when i wake up i'd be able to see how my little siblings grew up, I'd be able to see if my absence truly affected others outside of the money part, and maybe me waking up would bring everything ive accidentally destroyed back together? everyone would probably fawn over me for a bit, even if they ending up resenting me for the coma and what it costed to keep me alive during it. and if i was in a coma for twenty years i feel like people would be way more forgiving after when I don't know what I'm doing and struggle with simply existing than they do now, at least for a bit of time anyway

ive been drawing forever honestly. i've always been really into it. im fifteen so thatd be like 12 years. and obviously i wasnt always studying it super seriously or anything. idk. my art isnt perfect by any means. i just dont really post the shitty pieces lmao. i struggle with sm stuff and will be continuing to study probably till the day i cant hold a pencil anymore lol. (i draw too much, my hand hurts ;w;) its a never ending process and honestly thats why i love it sm.

as for anatomy i think the main thing to keep in mind is that anatomy and just drawing people in general is really hard. i heard this in this old video about how pixar used to do 3d animation is that the reason they didnt do animations of humans for so long is because we ourselves have very specefic ideas of what a human looks like. i think this also applies to art. which is a really long way of saying, trust the process.

i use photos personally! you can find a lot on pinterest but there are a couple things id keep in mind when it comes to photos people edit their bodies sometimes so their proportions so be careful, it will defeat the purpose of the study if the bodies inaccurate.

idk here are some that might be good for starting off. dancers and people like that are super helpful. remember to not to focus too much on the lines but more copying down the shapes,

for hands i would just look at your own hands and try to capture them quickly. i say quickly mainly bc i shake a lot lmao, maybe youre different. or you could just be smart and take a picture of your hand but im very lazy and dont like getting up to grab my phone.

for art style id just save stuff that inspire you. could be animations, comics, album covers, cool photos, just stuff that gives you like vibes. literally ANYTHING.

like, omg this is making me think of a cool idea rn!! save it! even if you cant execute it now you can always execute it in the future when your skills are more developed :)

style studies are also helpful! try copying art you like, seeing different peoples techniques however some things to keep in mind with this are

you might accidently copy down an artists mistakes or bad habits without realizing it so try to have some variety in your artists

dont post the art. some people are okay with tracing but the vast majority of artists dont like it and it makes them uncomfortable. so id just like keep it in your sketchbook or whatever :) better safe than sorry.

anyway ah this is so longgggg! sry im so bad at being concise lol. theres probably a lot of youtube videos that could help you with this stuff if you want more explanation. the channel ive been watching a lot in since this summer is sketches of shay. she makes a variety of stuff but her art studies and resources are also very helpful :)

i used to be super happy to openly selfship with characters that i love so very much and was excited to talk about it. but then shit happened that made me question it so i started to hate on it a lot because it made me visibly upset and i wanted to deactivate this blog a lot.

i felt really off and unsure how to approach it for the longest and i still dont know how to approach selfshipping even if its the only thing that makes me feel happy i guess.

the entire year in general just made me realise its 50/50 to me. like sure i do enjoy it and i think its fun, but i also hate the fact that i question myself so much about it. that i just dont go on here anymore because of it.

As I mentioned, Haruka gets really good at noticing your symptoms, so when she picks up on them, she'll rush to your side

During the ones where you end up fainting, she'll help you to either sit or lay down, either way keeping you leaned against her

She'll rub your shoulders even while you're passed out, her touch as gentle as can be

Once you wake up and you don't faint again, she'll hold out her bag to you. She doesn't know what exactly you need after fainting, but she's pretty certain that her bag has everything that you would ask her for anyway

If you wake up and promptly faint again, she continues to support you and keep you safe until you eventually wake up again

She's aware that those episodes are scary, she'd honestly be surprised if you weren't scared, so afterwards, she's very gentle with you

"Hey, dear? You're okay, you're safe. I'll always be right here for you." She'll always make sure to say something like that to you after an episode, she just cares about you a ton <3
