#text post #personal whining #i am so tired of being asked to cram 80 hours of work into a 40 hour week #i go to work and am overwhelmed and abused for 6-10 hours #then i come home and im too tired to cook clean or engage with my husband children pets hobbies #i am definitely in a depressive episode rn #and its because of work #4 people (including the pharmacist) is not enough to run a functioning pharmacy #and its not even flu season yet #when well be expected to do 10+ vaccines per day #on top of all the work we already arent managing to get done #with only ONE person who's eligible to give vaccines

My throat has been sore since yesterday and now I'm like hmmm it could be due to any of the following reasons:

Allergies and my lack of medication for it and because I was in a whole 'nother state

I'm still dehydrated because it was hot as shit

I inhaled something primordial while I was in the Carlsbad Caverns and now have Diseases™️

Its probably covid isn't it

I stopped wearing a mask for 2 weeks and I got Facking COVID

Seriously. id been masking everywhere in public since 2020, and only a couple weeks ago I went "if I'm gonna be regularly talking to hearing-impaired people & non-english speakers at my volunteer work I should probably take my mask off for lip-reading purposes"

Plus y'know. Basically no one in my city wears a mask for anything.

And then I left it off at the game store because socializing with visible facial expressions is more fun.

#i really hope its decent proposals are really hard for me to write. i never really understand how much im supposed to say #also i dont plan stuff in advance! i hate drafts and proposals why cant i just jump in and run w my topic #i dont Know exactly what im going to cover just yet can i get back to you once ive covered it #levi.txt #i spent One page just opening the two page proposal so. i know it needs some cleaning up #but the last time i wrote one of these i only got a 75 (not a bad grade but i could do significantly better) bc. and i am not kidding.#i wrote a several page intro abt the themes of a story i was super pumped to write. and forgot the /plot characters and title/#a 75 was honestly generous. that prof already liked me and knew my work so i got very lucky #also i just think the guy im working with for my essay is so cool and i want to impress him bfhshsk #ive taken 2 classes with him before he is so smart and so enthusiastic. i was 1 of only 3 who was there for every class both times #everyone whos helped me has been so cool and very nice to me i want to do a good job and prove that im as capable as they think #and also jesus fucking christ ive worked so hard for this degree PLEASE #if i dont get honours im walking into the forest laying down and letting the fae take me as they will #side note: i have 1.5 movies left (its late and im finishing army of the dead tomorrow + watching evil dead rise)!! thats so exciting #theyve (mostly) been really fun and i feel like i have a really good general idea of where im going w my essay now #the movie eras are starting to kind of organize themselves into coherent themes in my mind #i think its smth along the lines of racism/xenophobia -> social change -> satanic panic -> action and militarism -> prejudice/bias #and i actually think were in smth of a thematic reckoning w zombies rn as a culture that im excited to discuss!!#for so long weve accepted that zombies arent people but weve really been starting to interrogate that since abt the mid 2010s #w tropes like searching for a cure (not just a vaccine) or movies like warm bodies or evil dead where you can truly turn back #and im really excited to see where the future takes the zombie genre!!

i think it's very telling that i haven't gotten a flu shot since i was 4, ive only ever had influenza once in my memorable lifetime and it was last month. i got it from a specific kid.

this same kid who gets a flu shot every single year of her life and yet is deathly sick every single week, is always throwing up before school and shows up anyway, always has bright green snot dripping down to her neck.

#i havent gotten the flu shot since that one teenage boy died from it back in the 2000s/2010s and it was all over the news #and i also have not had influenza since i was a child.#at all.#every person i know who gets the flu shot gets influenza at least yearly if not every few months #every person i know who doesnt get the flu shot never gets sick #it isnt a coincidence #im not anti vax im anti flu vax #the signs are all there that it's a scam and yet people will full on demonize you for pointing it out #i debated not maing this post bc i know ima lose followers and moots but nah #we need to talk about it #because it's completely out in the open for anyone to see.#if any other vaccine was like this it would be removed from the shelves and people who got it would get generous compensation.#but bc it's the flu vaccine 'thats just how it is'
