EP TWO: Don't think. Slow down.
EP THREE: BE FUCKING NICE TO EACH OTHER. And rest. It's okay to stop and rest and heal.

Okay, see, the thing about your story ending on a negative/dystopian/'despite everything that's happened nothing has changed in society' note and doing so successfully? It needs to have been set up for that in the first place, and it needs to be done in an intentional manner.
I have nothing against works that reinforce how cruel/meaningless/pointless/etc. the world is -- I enjoy a fair few! -- but the works themselves need to be some sort of commentary about it; the plot might be demonstrative of the futility of everything, but the story never should. It should take that and build on it and use it to make a statement, underscore a point, etc. to its readers. Having everything carry on business-as-usual without acknowledging it, especially in a genre that's generally meant to conclude on optimistic, uplifting, and hopeful notes, comes off as callous and in direct opposition with the values it extols.
Plus, the story itself should never be futile because, then, well, it never mattered as a work and it makes no difference if you've read it or not. Which... that's just a badly written story lmao.

Mike johnson has so god damn much blood on his hands, obviously Ukrainian blood, but also plenty of American blood
Refusing to renew something that helps vets exposed to atomic blast and Americans who were downwind of the fall out... it's just sick. I can't fucking stand mike johnson, he's one of the worst scum to ever be in congress, and that's fucking saying something
"Johnson refused to allow House members to vote on bipartisan legislation to renew and improve the program"
Fucking quivering little pimple seems to have a real MO for just wringing his hands while insisting it's not his fault, he just can't do the one fucking part of his job of putting shit up to a vote... oh boo hoo, so sad, he'll just have to unilaterally let funding expire on things instead of literally just putting it up to our elected representatives to see if they want to vote yay or nay
Single handedly make the choices but it's not his fault when they work out how they do

I'm on my Hogwarts house bullshit cause I'm in Sirius cosplay rn and have blue hair and had a REVELATION
Anyways,
Everyone thinks that, between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, that Slytherin's the one who holds the reins, so to speak. Whenever they're in public, Slytherin usually takes the lead in conversations, while Ravenclaw is content to listen and only offer their take every now in then.
But they're wrong, because as soon as Ravenclaw is in a space they're comfortable with, off comes the filter, and you realize that they've got the dirtiest mouth in the country. Their words would leave even the most weathered, inappropriate sailors blushing like schoolgirls, and the thing Slytherin loves the most about this is that only one person gets to hear them say, and see them do, these things.
And that person is Slytherin themselves.
(Disclaimer: this is a generalization!!! not all ravenclaws are like this + not all slytherins are like this. It was just a thing that was in my brain ^^)

What do you like to think about with you and your f/o doing in your free time? (Like hanging out or running around)
Ooo fun question!! Since you didn't specify an f/o I'ma just ramble about the ones running around in my head
With Luigi, I imagine he has a hobby of tinkering with machinery, so sometimes Lexi would help him out or just do something in the same room so they can be together. Outside of that it's the typical hang out stuff, cooking together, watching TV together, the occasional video game. Sometimes they'll go outside on a walk and see the sights! The Mushroom Kingdom is very pretty after all
Sun, Moon, and Eclipse are all very similar, so I'll group them all into this one! Their main love language is quality time, so they just enjoy being around! They'll draw, sing songs, sometimes a dance if they can convince Evelyn to do so, and they like to get Evelyn going about something she likes or a memory/story. Essentially they like her rambling, so sometimes they're just listening. Cuddling is also very common between the three lol
With Darius it's usually just being together somehow. If Laika is on the couch drawing, Darius would either get out a sewing project or a book and sit next to her. If Darius is working on paperwork, Laika (with permission) will practice with their harp in the same room. They've been slowly teaching each other bits of their own hobbies though, Laika knows some basic sewing skills and Darius now vaguely knows how to draw things other than outfit designs! (Darius does know bits of music and bard magic, but it's a secret thing they're learning from Raine to surprise them with[and the bard magic comes after sigils can be officially removed])

it is exhausting waking up every day to bad news about how things are horrible but at the end of the day we could just turn off our phones and not look at social media and look away but these people who have to see their families die and other people die every single don't get to do that! they don't have the privilege of getting away and ignoring everything because they are living this awful genocide and idk what to tell you man if you choose to look away and ignore this just know it's bc you have the privilege to do so and you are a loser for telling others to stop talking about it like i am sorry i truly won't and people better not a whole population of a country is being killed and there's nothing else we can do but talk about it so people don't forget they exist/ever existed

terrified about the future of automation, 26% of jobs are in transportation and customer service type positions, these are the positions that are easily accessible to people without degrees, these are also the jobs that can't get any employees because they pay like shit, i believe that instead of paying people a living wage companies will instead turn to automating these jobs
