#why do men#in the movie when Tigris tells him people can be good you can be good#I burst into tears#like how does one go see a movie knowing the story is doomed from the beginning#like I am not well#I’m was crying so much bc I had so much hope for Corio & Lucy Gray#but obvs knowing how their story ends it just shattered my heart#that is how their story always ends no matter how many times you start reading it#they were doomed from the start#I can’t#I’m so sad#brilliant writing as always tho#I’m gonna ask to have the book for Xmas cuz it’s such a beautifully heart wrenching story#Coriolanus I hate u#Lucy gray my beloved I hope you found peace and freedom#the ballad of songbirds and snakes#thoughts
