Hey,I know this will never happen but I am curious what are headcanons for your characters if they were in deltarune(grouprune/deltagroup)?What roles would they play during a fight?

Harper would be offensive archer who uses a cross bow

Caleb would be a offensive tank with physical attacks his ballet slippers would be armored boots instead

Again fin would be a physical tank this time with gauntlets instead of tough gloves

Minette and lumen are support. They provide shields and power boost

Adien of course is a healer

And frisk can go offensive or defensive depending on the situation they use a Polearm weapon

It’s finally time to introduce the secondary project I’ve been working on >;Dc

I’ve had this queued for sometime in June, did not check when, so hello on [random date in june] ;D

I’m also here to explain how I’ll be posting this stuff going forward! Everything will be posted here, on my main account before being reblogged over to Soul’s Anchor a side bog with the place holder title. Unless it deals with more adult/suggestive content or heavier topics, of which will be exclusively posted to Soul’s Anchor side blog. As I don’t want certain themes alongside AM! I’ll also be referring to this series as Anchor for short! I will encourage any and all Questions, Mentions, and Thoughts to be directed there for those interested and those who are not, dw! You’ll only see the initial posts here, no asks or follows up, but this is still my art account and I shall enjoy it as I please ;3

Brief Synopsis about the Story:

A queer love story following a cursed pirate and a cult refugee implanted with a god’s eye as they combat the reality of living in a world which was created solely to feed the gods that govern it. All whilst a sapphic couple attempt to help guide the pair along a path to to a better future, one that’s validity comes into question. A dark fantasy story that aims to represent the disabled community, the LGBTQIA+, and SA survivors written by fellow members of these communities.

Also brief disclaimer, I, Phlurrii, am simply an ally to the disabled community, my partner in crime writing alongside me, ArtJunco on Instagram, is our resident community member ;]

Anyways onto the meat of this!

Below is a collection of some, emphasis on some, of the concept art and processes I went through to develop and create one of the two main characters, Lumae.

Here are some of the earliest ideas, the basic thoughts I had in my brain when developing this goober after a 3 hours pacing in my kitchen at 1 am when that inspiration struck. His hair was the HARDEST bit for me to figure out. Which sucked as usually the hair is one of the first things I figure out because of how much I love it, so it was Agony while brainstorming that part.

I also briefly considered a goatee, however it was so cruelly shot down by my dear friend. So in stead we compromised that he may get one later down the line story wise… and see how we feel then. However, upon finally figuring out his hair I was bloody elated, still has some tweaks now and then, but the base is there.

As for this next concept, this was actually the FIRST thing created for Lumae and what started everything else about his character/design! His eyes! They are still my favourite but about him and something I adore whole heartedly! They are the core of his character ;3c

These next few are early refs and mock ups of his full design, testing our colours, experimenting with shading, getting used to drawing humans again, and general concepts I had for him as a character! Also a sneak peak at Ayric, our second main goober for this story! Who was lovingly designed and created by ArtJunco!

And finally his most recent WIP ref! The only thing currently bothering me about his design is the colour for his boot covers, I have no idea what to do with them so I’d you have suggestion or ideas, sincerely, feel free to shoot an ask to the Anchor blog! I’d genuinely love outside opinions!

As for the main curiosity of why I’m doing this, for those that missed the last post, I’ll give a brief explanation below ;3

I have a request with a cybertronian reader (Gender neutral) + swerve

Little info about reader, they were a performer but more specifically a singer who performed in bars.

Reader and swerve met at a bar when they were performing and he immediately was smitten, so after they were done swerve approached reader to tell them how amazing they were but he was a nervous WRECK. Not only did they have an amazing voice but they were drop dead gorgeous(Basically whatever the cybertronian equivalent for a model is).

Both joined the lost light and when swerve opened his bar, the reader would help him run it, sometimes even perform on the occasion.

Eventually some bots become curious about readers and swerves relationship since they looked very close, the reader always listening to swerves rambles, never shutting him up and sometimes seeing them crack a smile or even laugh at his jokes. Only ever really showing him any type of affection/emotion since they come of aloof and stoic when talking to others. So they ask the question to him (or reader)and he breaks the bombshell that they are conjuxes and the bots go crazy💀💀

No one would’ve expect swerve to be able to bag a baddie like reader but it happened

The whole dynamic is basically just Jessica rabbit and Roger rabbit, the bots in question can be of any of your choosing!

Bot Buddy the singer and being Swerve's Conjunx

The Lost Light had many duos and partners on board.

Some that made sense like Rewind and Chromedome.

Another duo’s that came as a pleasant surprise like Tailgate and Cyclonus.

But one of the more unlikely duos on the ship was Buddy and Swerve.

Swerve had told the patrons many times about the story of how they met.

Many are still trying to figure out how truthful the story really is.

They would ask Buddy… but they kind of intimidate many of the patrons at the bar.

According to the bartender, Swerve had been looking around the local bars for ideas on how to design his own bar.

It was one night he decided to stick around one of the bars for the entertainment section.

That’s when he saw them.

Swerve nursing a cube of engex.

“Hey, what’s for the entertainment tonight? Trivia? Drunk lobbing?”--Swerve

“Nah, Buddy’s singing tonight.”—Random Mech

“Buddy?”--Swerve

The bot sighs.

“Trust me, you don’t wanna miss this. Their performance… well you’ll see.”—Random Mech

Swerve shrugs it off but starts to notice the bar quiet down significantly and many bots looking at the stage with a look he could only describe as lovestruck.

“Please welcome once again to the stage, our wonderful singer, Buddy.”—Random Mech

Buddy’s tall frame walks slowly out of the curtains.

Their frame lighting up with the spotlight as the other lights had dimmed.

Swerve could defiantly see why everyone was excited.

They had a frame of a super model!

And that voice!

Swerve was certain that he too had a lovestruck look on his faceplate when the first verse spilled from their lips.

Swerve tells the patrons that he had admired Buddy’s talent and ended up asking them their com line, so when he did have his own bar, he would contact them.

Not many are convinced that this is true, or at least the whole truth.

Thanks to a certain minibot with a camera bolted to his helm, he had the story on what happened after the show.

Swerve had been a nervous wreck the entire performance.

Buddy had noticed him in the crowd looking like he was going to short circuit at any moment.

Honestly, if they could, they would have stopped singing to go check up on the minibot.

After their performance they personally went to the minibot to see if he was okay.

Swerve stumbling out of the bar only to bump into someone’s leg.

“Oh! Sorry about that! Didn’t watch where I was going and—”--Swerve

His voice stops as he looks up at the beauty that was on stage a mere second ago.

“Are you okay? You looked like you needed help back there.”--Buddy

“N-nope! I mean Nah, I’m good. I’m fine! Everything’s fine!”--Swerve

Buddy smiles at him.

“I’m Buddy. What’s your name?”--Buddy

“Swerve…”--Swerve

“Well Swerve, I’ve been singing at this bar for a while now to know most of the regulars, yet, I’ve never seen you around.”--Buddy

“Yeah, Kind of looking around seeing how bars go and all. I wanna make a place of my own one day with a friend of mine and, well, I wanted to see what gets the bots coming back, besides the engex of course.”--Swerve

Buddy chuckles a bit looking at the flustered minibot.

They look over at the slightly less crowded booth at one corner of the bar.

“There’s an empty booth over there and I sure could go for a drink… do you mind accompanying me? Maybe talk a bit more about that bar of yours.”--Buddy

Swerve thinks for a second before agreeing to the drink.

He did end up giving them his private comline that night and Buddy ended up having a nice night with a cute minibot.

The rest was history.

No one had yet figured out how Buddy could stand to be with Swerve and his rambling.

They were quiet and had a neutral look on their faceplate when they weren’t performing. Yet here they were listening to Swerve’s chatter before and after their performances without any complaint.

If anything, few bots have seen smiles, chuckles and bits of laughter from the taller bot.

“What’s between you and Buddy anyways?”--Brainstorm

“Well it all started—”--Swerve

“Yes, I get that part, but what are you two exactly? Surely, Amica Endura or maybe you haven’t worked up to that point yet.”

Swerve gives the bot a confused look.

“They’re my Conjunx?”—Swerve

Brainstorm feels his optic twitch.

“What?”--Brainstorm

“They’re my—”--Swerve

“I heard that! But how?! Your you and Buddy is… Just how?!”--Brainstorm

Swerve shrugs as Buddy takes the stage.

Brainstorm walks back to his table with Chromedome and Rewind pouting.

“I still don’t believe what he said.”—Brainstorm

Chromedome looks up from his engex.

“What did Swerve say?”--Chromedome

“He said he and Buddy are Conjunx Endura.”—Brainstorm

Chromedome nearly spits out his drink.

Rewind seems unfazed by this news.

“Really?!”--Chromedome

“Knew it.”—Rewind

Both bots look at the minibot curiously.

“And how did you know?”--Chromedome

Rewind points to the stage.

“Watch the optics.”--Rewind

The group looks at Buddy’s optics.

They are firmly planted at the bartender pouring their voice into the love song in the mic.

“… Maybe he’s right…”--Brainstorm

i actually have some questions regarding island of the slaughter as I'm wanting to do a sequel/spinoff fanfic but I want to make sure not to mess up your vision.

Are the spirits trapped to certain parts of the island unable to move about or are they able to move about the island freely (they just can't get off)

Are they hostile and bloodthirsty towards everyone that enters the island now like the man that killed them or was McLean just marked for death because he was the one that caused the whole situation in the first place?

(to kind of go with the above) if say a castaway were to end up on the island would they need to follow the rules to avoid risking the spirts' wrath or was that all essentially and elaborate prank to mess with Chris's head before doing him in in?

Are there any canon Island of the slaughtered ships I need to keep in mind?

Could someone in theory repair the spirits?(unsew Owen give Heather a body al la reverse headless horseman ect.)

1. The spirits are able to move around freely, but their designated places are like their home (or spawn point idk😭)

2. The campers weren’t familiar with Alejandro nor Sierra, but still, they may come as hostile if they feel threatened— so yeah, pretty much anyone who would enter the island would be at risk of dying in the campers’ hands if they break their boundaries (Chris is their #1 target though)

3. Same answer as #2!

4. There aren’t any ships canon in IOTS but Duncan and Courtney! I’m quite fond of NoCo in the story though, but it can be viewed as a friendship or more.

5. No i like bullying them

6. I know IOTS is “all over the place” since it was just a thing I made for fun, and I understand if people get confused! I just really like it when viewers can interpret some of the open-ended stuff

Vee’s skin was originally gonna be tamagotchi themed but nothing worked out so it slowly moved into what it is now

I‘ve been having a Ninjago brainrot lately and wanted to work a bit on my Ninja designs!!!! I’m still trying these out, so they may change in the future

Also, these are probably the ones I use for them starting around S8 and up XD I‘ll draw Nindroid Zane soon too, dw! (I swear, I wanted to design Lloyd as well but I was just NOT happy with it TAT) Anyway, close ups under the cut!

I like Jay‘s curly hair, but I kinda miss his pre-S8 design ngl. Anyway, I thought giving him spiky hair would be interesting to kinda give off an electrocuted look!

I had an absolute blast drawing Kai’s hair, ngl. There’s not much to say other than that I’m really happy with how I drew him XD

Still experimenting more with Cole‘s design tho. Not sure how I want his scar to look like so far and I’m also still not really sure about the hair. Pretty happy with his face tho :D

The colors on Zane look a bit weird still to me, so I’ll deffo be working on his design as well XD

And lastly for now, Nya! I like how wavy her hair is now, but I do prefer her short hair! So I just did a mix of both :D also, I love the idea of her dying her hair to make it look similar to water,,, anyway

the theories that have been presented on this cast + one of my own :)

I do want to mention that I strongly believe this is a prequel due to a conversation I had with a bunch of people on discord earlier. (Everyone was 16+, dw.)

I haven’t seen anything about the first two at all so far, so I’ll be skipping over them and onto the third guy (oh my fucking lord).

It seems that here this guy has some sort of relationship to XF-Future Tech, which if you’ve seen Min’s side story, you’d know is the company that came into her life and groomed her to be the Ultimate Student. She received special tutoring for them and worked her ass off for that title her entire life because of that. Next, this guy shares the same tie pin she does, and it’s also very notable that she dresses up with the same button down and tie in her MV. Not only do I think she is linked to the company now, but she might be working there before she was in the game. Who knows, though.

Next, I have not seen anything on the fourth girl besides a bunch of people on discord theorizing what the dandelion in her hair could mean. Unfortunately dandelions have different meanings from different cultures all over the world, so until it’s specified about where she’s from, I don’t think there’s many assumptions we can make yet.

Number Five, the purple guy.

Everyone seems to think so far that this is Elliot Cuevas, Charles Cuevas’s deceased brother. Now let me tell you that although I can’t see it based off design, the way he looks (playful and kinda weird but happy) and the way he was described by the creator in the latest qna (a popular joyous dude), can definitely make me see this being real. The only thing that is super far fetched about this is that we know he died a long time ago, and so if this is a prequel, it would have to be at least 15 years before drdt even starts.

Here’s also some more evidence from @sunlit-haru supporting the ‘that’s Elliot’ theory.

Now we’re up to the protagonist, who mind you is definitely my favorite so far. I will eliminate the rest of you protag dickriders so I will be the only simp left.

ANYWAYS, in the about page for this, it’s stated that this is a fangan for someone who wants to be the perfect teacher. Now with the hidden quote on the drdt tumblr page about this teacher…

Uh oh. I think we’ve figured out who this mysterious teacher might be. As for who is talking to them, I’ve personally got a few ideas, but they are not backed with any evidence.

1. The mastermind from this first killing game

2. Mai Akasaki or David Chiem still

3. The mastermind of the drdt killing game

Whoever it is, I think that these games are surely related and that each current kg participant does have a relation with one of these cast members. And that previous killing game’s end is why this one is happening.

Then, based off the post up top and a few others, people seem to think this is Teruko’s brother. I’m going to give a wild theory (no evidence) that Mai Akasaki knows him, only bc of the red in his hair. Then I think Mai would’ve found Teruko, and she would’ve been trying to reconnect them. Just a theory, though. There’s no evidence based around that this guy might be Teruko’s brother though, sadly.

Last but not least, @1moreff-creator pieced together some of the text on his badge:

Sadly I cannot link the image of what the phone number gets to, but it gets linked to a yellow pill. I don’t have any ideas on how it would relate to the game, but I think it does. It’s used for high blood pressure and heart failure. If he’s really related to Teruko, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had high blood pressure lmao.

Also, the area code for 555 is just North America.

Here’s what I found on Wikipedia:

I don’t understand the first part, but it seems that this is a fictional number. If someone could explain to me wtf that first part even memes, I might be able to give more info.

Anyways, it seems that this guy ended up being a teacher at HPA, before or after the killing game. But I think this was very worth mentioning.

Unfortunately I’ve seen nothing about the next two, but I want to say that the girl in all pink (#8) I think is Felicity Giles, if that’s even possible. I just feel that’s Arturo’s sister. I know, I’m a weirdo. Even if #7 looks more like Arturo, I just cannot see it.

Moving on, nine and ten! If you look at them closely they’ve got the same eye pattern, suggesting they’re siblings, or likely twins, since they’ve got the fire/ice scheme going on.

Lastly, eleven which oh my god, Arturo’s dream girl! But she’s been theorized to be Whit’s mom. Here’s the post that argues a pretty convincing reason of why.

Oh boy. That woman is pretty cool and is very elegant, and has the same shade of blond hair that Whit dyed his too. I don’t think she’s any coincidence.

But joining along on that last little paragraph of this person’s post, it’s starting to seem a lot of characters do have connections to this cast and are seemingly mentioned quite a few times.

UPDATE: oh my lord, @accirax literally went on a deep dive for us and gave us a pretty good explanation and educated guess on everyone’s talents. I’m not going to link it because they covered pretty much every logical point as to why they have their guesses. Rant on how i hate over-sexualized armor

Yeah, so you now have to hear me rant about this, yay!!

I’m mainly going to target Dyansty Warriors, even though there are A LOT of games or other things that have this problem, because 1. I wanna talk about Dynasty Warriors, 2. Because most of the armor for girls in this game provides literally no protection.

I am I MAIJOR fan of accurate armor representation, I could go on and on about what makes accurate armor accurate armor, but the one thing that pisses me off about games if movies that topic is like battle, IS WHEN THE ARMOR, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO GIRLS, ARE VERY OVER SEXUALIZED. Take Dynasty Warriors for an example, now this rant is going to be mainly negative so let me just say something positive first.

When it comes to girls that don’t really participate in battle (eg. Cai Wenji, the Qiao sisters, etc) it is okay to not give them armor, regular clothing that represents their character well is a pass from me, as long as it’s not uselessly sexualized, I don’t mind it.

But, for actual female warriors like Zhu Rong or Sun Shangxiang, for the love of god I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANOTHER SEXUALIZED OUTFIT FOR THEM. Like what is the purpose of making and wearing that armor, if it’s not even going to cover the vital organs??? Some of them aren’t even wearing armor! Take Bu Lianshi for example, she was hired to be Sun Shangxiang’s bodyguard because of her talent in battle, and yet she wears basic clothing?? What was the purpose of emphasizing that she was this girl boss, just not to give her armor?? And not to mention that she has a mile of unnecessary cleavage in her DW 9 design. And don’t forget about Zhurong! Oh, I mean, just search up ANY and I mean ANY of her designs, IT’S ALL SO UNNECESSARILY SEXUAL, like I kinda get it because she comes from a tribal area and I guess they want to make her look more caveman-ish?? But the only sort of protection she has on is the hand arm belt things and a piece of tiger cloth. What. And it’s not only the women too, take a look at Zhang He’s DW 7 design, where is the armor?? I always found the putty monsters to be pretty silly, they’re just little guys don’t be mean to them; I would love to see your designs for them tho! and maybe of everyone’s suits….

tho something I’ve always had a gripe with is that the suits, didn’t really seem like alien technology. they didn’t have any outlandish and/or futuristic features that really showed the power these suits have. they kinda look like they were from a spirit halloween lol. it’s just a pet peeve of mine tho lol

and also…will there be yuri….very important question…because I smell something coming from courtney and heather….its probably because I’m a heathney shipper lol

Ya know I get the appeal of comic book artist having their own go at a character but there's gotta be some standard guidelines to a characters features than just an iconic outfit

Like giving a character darker skin and ethnic features that adds so much diversity to the character for one run just to take them away in the next feels like a slap in the face to fans, especially those with those features.

Like I don't think I can make a call on this but it really feels racist even if not intended and just pushes the western white beauty standards

Sorry for the rant, I know this is common in other types of media but I just feel its most prominent in comic books. Its hard for me to write my thoughts and feelings into words but I hope this gets my point across

Dw anon I def get what ur saying. From what ppl have been saying on that post it has been a huge issue for ages in comic books of characters being white-washed and stuff which really sucks.

I’m not sure if there really ARE any standard guidelines for the way the artist draw the characters, which is why this is such an issue. I’m not even sure if there’s guidelines for the outfits or if it’s just whichever one became the most iconic and sort of cemented itself into the character like it’s a personality trait or smth.

I get what ur saying, I don’t I have any authority to call it racist either but it definitely feels… weird? Idk because I guess I can understand like someone said that Damian was made to be like a clone of Bruce or something? Or that’s how Talia ‘designed’ him to be. Or that maybe some people think that yah all the Robin’s should look the same/very similar to keep their identities a secret or make them more inconspicuous or something.

But those are just reasons I made up right now and I don’t think either of them have a lot of weight for anyone trying to argue them so. Damian has more than one origin if I remember correctly and at least one of the ways he was conceived was reconned so I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened to another one of his origins along the line.

It’s just odd. It’s all odd. Idk why dc would put a pass on Damian’s design in his solo series and then also put a pass on this design when they are SOOOO drastically different. Even without the whole racist thing it’s just incredibly jarring to read a whole 12 issue series of him looking one way and then start his next series and have him look entirely different. It’s, like, bad marketing. UGH IDK HOW TO PUT MY THOUGHTS INTO WORDS EITHER BUT I GET U MAN, I GET U.

Hi there. I’m going insane and it’s your fault. Like I discovered your absolute emotional masterpiece of a fanfic the other day and it’s all I think about anymore I’m so obsessed; I downloaded tumblr bc of you and I don’t really know how this site works but I do know how to click the ask button so that’s your problem now. I got words for you

First off: HOLy the writing and the voices are so good??? Like the characters say things the way their irl counterparts would say it? How?? Teach me your ways? Actually tho what did you do to learn to do that, is it innate, do you practice?

Second: “He wouldn’t have known the sight of Tango’s pale skin flushing bright red all the way down his chest.” That sentence just kinda stuck out to me from the last chapter… for some reason... anyways (idk what my point is here but it sure has got me thinking thoughts :P )

Third: I said I was obsessed, and I think it was an understatement. I didn’t study for my chem final because of this (still got an A tho so dw) and I went to bed for three days straight thinking about it and I woke up every morning thinking about it. (It took a solid hour to snap myself out of it when I actually needed to get work done lol) And on the plane ride home for break I drew some things so I’ll just leave these here if you don’t mind (umm ignore the tango faces on the first page and his left hand on the second, there's something Wrong™ about them I gotta practice, ok?)

As you can see I love love love the scene after the nightmare. If I remember correctly, Tango started wearing the gloves to protect his claws so they could heal after he escaped, and then when Jimmy gets hurt he just instinctively gives them to him?? Hello, the symbolism??? Tango just surrenders his own protection, both physically, because he would rather protect Jimmy, but also emotionally bc it immediately reveals what he considers a flaw in himself, monstrous, hideous. And Jimmy sees him throw the walls up again, “He quickly shoves the gloves at Jimmy, moving to get up. “I’ll uh, I’ll get another pair tomorrow-”” but Jimmy won’t let him, instead looks at what could be considered Tango’s entire soul —his trauma, his Hels origin, the feral, blaze side of him, the side that lies and hides and lashes out at any who get too close, the “ugliest” parts of him —and loves him despite it? Even sees the beauty in him? Yea, no, I’m normal about that—

Anyways idk how long these things are supposed to be but I have a couple more thoughts so you’re still stuck with me. Ummm let’s see… I adore your impulse design. So I’m taking that, thanks. (If that’s ok) also was thinking about how Jimmy would wear shirts with the wings getting in the way (see bottom of 2nd pic), and then thought maybe that’s why he’s so good at embroidery or sewing in general, cuz he has to make custom clothes. And then I thought what if he made some *cough* outfits and had Tango judge them… or asked for help putting on/taking off a particularly difficult shirt... haven’t had time to draw that yet but ya know… one day. Aaaaand the blaze rods could theoretically make a pretty cool fire crown when Tango's angry, also blazes do damage when you touch them, but I don't think you get set on fire? So it must be the blaze rods themselves doing damage, so I imagine when Tango's fighting they swirl around him both to attack whoever gets too close and to block any incoming projectiles (see middle left of 1st pic). +gradients on the blaze rods :]

Last thing, I showed my sister the fic last night and she’s already read through it twice so you’ve infected two of us. We were theorizing on what’ll happen next chapter. We both think that the others will piece together, to some extent, Tango’s backstory before they figure out how to remove the collar, what with the cuffs he wears, the comments Atlas made about a farm, Atlas’s mentioning about using Jimmy that way for his feathers, etc etc. and the comment that Tango can hear everything? Yea, no, when that collar comes off he’s gonna be distraught, I’m wagering that everything immediately bursts into flames around him or something (cuz that’d be cool). I think he'll probably try to run away, too, but we'll see

first off: HELLO, you got a tumblr bc of HTP?? incredible. i’m honored that this gay angsty little block man au was your introduction to the hellsite (affectionate). and don’t worry, i welcome asks no matter the length (tho i might not get to everything in a timely manner)

second of all: i’m SO happy you enjoyed my character voices. that’s definitely something that’s taken a bit of practice, especially for more understated characters that don’t have super obvious or unique vocal traits/vernaculars. i find it helpful to a) have spent a decent amount of time watching the source material and b) always go over my dialogue with the character’s voice in my mind, and see if it sounds like something they’d actually say. ofc, sometimes liberties can be taken based on the plot/setting of a fic but generally i spend a lot of time and effort on getting character voices right, so i appreciate the appreciation <3

thirdly: i like that particular sentence too ;0

fourth: THAT ART THO??? oh man. impulse looks amazing (i’ve always loved demon!impulse and gotta credit @lunarcrown for bringing that vision to life 💃) and the wings are SO well done, like you conveyed that leathery thin bat skin texture perfectly. the various tangos are SICK, i luuuuv seeing him in full blaze rage mode, using those blaze rods to their full effect. and those hands… goddamn. not only do i respect the hand anatomy but the ROSES… the shackles and their metallic texture… the gradient on tango’s claws… chef’s kiss 💋👌 and THANK YOUUU the post-nightmare scene was one of my favorites from that chapter, and you’ve summed it up beautifully.

moving on: as with all of lunar’s designs, she’s happy to inspire so BEHOLD, DEMON IMPULSE UPON YE (that’s a yes from both of us LOL) i love ur idea about jimmy making custom shirts to work around his wings, that’s one of those little details i never put much thought into but it fits so nicely with him being into embroidery. so jimmy def makes a lot of his own clothes (and occasionally some for tango), co-signed and approved. and ur on the right track about tango’s blaze rods- most of his defensive fire comes directly from them, doing that crazy swirly fireball thing that actual blaze do, but he does also have the ability to produce fire from his hands, he just doesn’t do it often. it takes a bit more concentration and practice, and he spent so long trying not to use his abilities that it doesn’t come second nature to him anymore. he was way more of a fire starter as a kid in hels.

last but not least: AWW it’s so sweet u got ur sister into the au (lord knows i’ve dragged mine into many a fandom 😂) glad y’all enjoyed it so much, AND now u have someone to theorize with 👀 i won’t say anything more on the matter other than i hope to get the next chapter out over the next couple weeks, so stay tuned…

"You really seem to like car rides." Taehyung offers, while you enjoy the fresh air and scenery passing by, nodding. Your hybrid tags chime a little bit as they clatter against one another from the force of the breeze. You close your eyes.

He's realized after Yoongi had spoken to him about it that you become quiet when you're happy. Both men are not sure why, but they just assume that you're someone who enjoys certain things in a more silent way than others would - and that's totally fine.

"We can get some food later, eat it at home. Tannie is surely waiting." He says, and you nod. The small dog and you have connected well- it confused him at first how Taehyung managed to treat you so differently and yet still include you both in everyday activities, but by now it's gotten easy.

You realize that you're not the same as either- Taehyung or Tannie- and that's fine. You're simply something different.

The singer has rules set to make life easier and keep everything balanced at home, for both you and the tiny full blooded dog. They're not the same, but some of them have similarities; like no biting, no unnecessary yelling, or no stealing food. It gives you a sense of security knowing the clear guidelines of how to behave, it reassures you that even when things get hectic you can still be sure that if Taehyung gets irritated it's not your fault.

It's nice.

Obviously, it's not the same as it was with Jungkook.

You miss home and how it was before everything changed. You sometimes dream of home back in that state, just to wake up disappointed that reality isn't what it used to be back then. It leads to feeling guilty, because both Taehyung and Yoongi try hard to make everything easy on you.

You wonder what Jungkook is doing these days.

He asks about you, you know that. He visits, too, but Taehyung and Yoongi both told you that that's not good for either of you because you both just get upset by it. You, because you crave home with him, and him, because he's still trying to sort everything out. He's trying hard.

One thing that surprised you was how yesterday, Jungkook had openly apologized to you. Over a small takeout meal with Yoongi and Tae present, he'd admitted to having rushed the decision to adopt Bam - that he didn't think that he just did what he thought was a good thing. He didn't attempt to justify lile he usually would - he just apologized. Just stated that he was sorry.

It made things awkward for a second, but it also gave you hope.

When asked about the big puppy, Jungkook had explained that he was now staying at his parent's home. His dad really liked the dog, and Jungkook felt a bit better knowing that they had a somewhat guard dog now. Of course, he had admitted that it felt wrong to just.. push him aside like that- but 'just giving him back wasn't an option. It would've been unfair- and by doing this, he's still part of the family and happy.', he'd explained.

It made you rest a bit easier, knowing that Bam didn't have to suffer any true consequences. That he was still there.

You really would've hated yourself if he had had to leave.

"Sleepy?" Taehyung chuckles, running a hand over your head. You shake your head, though it's clear that the eventful day had taken a good chunk of energy from you. Shopping bags in the back a result from picking up some designer items the singer had requested for. Collars and hybrid-friendly clothing that you had told him you liked, as well as stuffed toys and other things like treats and snacks contained in the various colored bags filling the back seat. You'd felt a bit bad at first, but by now, you've accepted it as something he willingly offered. There was no reason to feel like you didn't deserve it.

Still, you held onto the oddly shaped cat-plush at night, stuffed animal still holding the scent of Jungkook's apartment. Of home, after all.

You hope everything will sort itself out soon.

Days with Tae are sometimes happy, sometimes eventful, and sometimes simply quiet and calm- and you're glad you get to spend time with him. He's a great owner and friend, but at the end of the day, home is where your heart is.

And maybe you've simply forgotten it at Jungkooks place.

Maybe you'll have to go and pick it up yourself.
