Why does saying “I want to be a bartender” feel about 500x less classy in America than it does in Australia
#the answer is because you’re paid enough to live doing it in Australia 🫠#but like#Jesus#I’m looking for Facebook groups comparable to the ones in Melbourne for bartending gigs#and as opposed to a group with 80k members with posts like “’I’ll be doing a free masterclass educating on x really expensive spirit’#there’s like#nothing centralized and all the groups I’m seeing are like LAWL COME GET TRASHED W US#which fb groups aren’t everything but I just 🫠#I’m actually trying to do this because it’s creative and reasonably respectable not for the paid alcoholism
