I'm late and I almost didn't put up a post. Today was a busy day. I made apple cobbler again, did some laundry, oiled my hair after ages and did some organizing..

This Ramadan I've been struggling with doing enough good deeds. ☹ I do not know what it is but for some reason I can't form a routine... like I did last Ramadan. Regardless, I'm trying and in the end it's your intention and efforts you are held accountable for. To have this 'hope' in Allah is what drives me to be honest. Hope that things will get better. Hope that's He has better plans for you. Hope that the rose that you prayed for but didn't get, Allah had planned on giving you a whole garden.

If my happiness were up to be, I'd be a very very sad person. I'd drown in the despair of my own thoughts if Allah's hope wasn't the metaphorically float ring cast out for me.

COVID-19 Has made life difficult, I've seen and heard stories of people losing there loved ones in mere hours. It feels like it's always night and the sun might never rise. Our feeling of hopelessness is not wrong (we are in the end humans)

But what we better need to practice is hope. To try and remember how far we've come from where we were. To go back on past duas we used to make (in previous Ramadan or otherwise) and see and analyze how many He has accepted or given you something better than what you asked for.

Take a moment to think, what state was your heart in 3 years ago? What did you desperately need last year that you prayed relentlessly for? Now think of all the prayers He has answered...🥺 I hope this warms your heart and fills it with hope 😇

As He (SWT) says In the quran:

"Fear not. Indeed I am with you both; I hear and I see"

He assures us that he hears so don't stop making dua. Unapologetically ask Him for what you need. If not Him than who? We often fixate on the things we don't have rather than be grateful for what we do. I believe reminding our selves of what we used to pray for and now have will renew our hope in Him and bring us peace.

I hope you own this mindset for the rest of Ramadan and hopefully through out life.

As Allah (SWT) says:

"If you are grateful, I will give you more..."

although i must ask, are you ready to take the calm and warm impression after that ominous ask 😌 yes, a jimin stan since the beginning of time ☺ you're luckily younger than him, but i had to go through several thousand stages of denial until accepted him as my bias. the pains of being old ☹

then, instead of bias wrecker, shall we say the people driving us out of our jimin lanes, the attention snaggers, the men whom we must deny lest we desert our precious little calico cat? 😌

if i must say, of recent months it would be yoongi and jungkook, because i just can't deny gummy smiles and doe eyes, apparently 😢 but to be honest they all drive me crazy, it's just that jimin lives in the penthouse of my heart, complete with those smart and interconnected appliances and a loft! a pretty loft!! and his own jarvis!! while everyone else lives in the rooms in the lower floors ☺

it just so happens that i made you live closer to jimin, alice, so you can spend nights playing with him and his adopted cats while looking at the stars 💕

ah, that's okay, you shouldn't feel pressure to watch it, there are many other good dramas that you can watch, but if you want a summary i can tell you about it ☺

oh and jungkook will probably cry in the middle of the cuddle puddle as he reads his letter because he is an Actual Softie™ who loves greatly and deeply and truly 💕 ahh bangtan cuddles is the dream 😢

dearest alice, this is a random thought, but have you ever written fics, because you write vividly when you answer asks 💕 you should give it a thought, love, i'm sure you'll make cute little fics 🦋

I KNEW IT almost everyone who loved winx club loved witch as well!! i honestly don’t even remember how far into the storyline i got, i remember there were so many comics at some point it was hard to keep up, but i feel like i watched the entire animation a couple of times? even thinking about it makes me feel so nostalgic 🥺 ooh my favorite from witch is hay lin for sure, she was so precious and had such a great sense of style. also her power!! and from winx, it would have to be musa although i love flora a lot too! what are yours?
