I’m just now finding out that a retired mod from the SK server i’m in was the same RenMei anti that chased off my RenMei veteran friend off from tumblr back in 2014. All this time I thought they might have moved on and changed their mindset but no, turns out they’ve been a mod all this time and I didn’t know. They also slandered both RenMei and YohAn on the server too and this was right before I joined in 2020 (They been slandering them from 2018 to 2020ish) To make matters worst, I saw another ex mod (Aka another RenMei anti) join in their slandering and went “shhh don’t say that or you will make the shippers of that ship unwelcomed”. But it’s also funny because the mod that slandered both of those SK ships much later said something about “We want this place to feel welcoming for “all SK fans”” but they are also the same person that also go “Ren x Jeanne age gap is bad/gross and if you support them you should feel ashamed.” The hypocrisy.... Yeah this server has never been a welcoming place for RenMei fans tbh

I received a similar question earlier and I wrote a post about it but ended up drafting it cause I feel like I would get negative response in a way 🥲

But I hope you will get better, my darling - and I understand the news are sad. But he will be back in no time and in the meanwhile everyone can focus on other exo members, their activities (at least I cant wait for those) and focus on ourselves, and becoming better people so we can all welcome him back :) Baekhyun will have a once-in-a-lifetime (hopefully) experience as a soldier so its a huge thing for him as well, and he must be a little nervous about it. after all his life will change a lot for a longer while (also, i feel like he low-key needs a rest from work and entertainment).

TW: honesty

I went a bit though Twitter and goodness that place is so hectic - I made an acc a while ago but rarely go there (no time) and every post is triggering and people are so dramatic over there (hence I like tumblr). Plus, the way some “translators” translate Korean is not entirely precise so I’m minding my own business and wish bbh a good time while he is away! I’m not sad/surprised since we knew he will be going. He himself never mentioned he was sad/upset (as many translated) he said that he’s frustrated about not doing the activities.

I feel so insensitive since everyone seems to be a bit sad/upset/frustrated and I’m neither. I genuinely thought everyone is aware that he’d be going in April (if not in March). Chanyeol’s news were a little of a surprise but not bbh 😅 and military is part of every man’s life in SK! so this isnt such a huge deal as everyone makes it seem like.  >.<

I think he will be more than fine while he is away, I was a little sad and will never understand that he would prefer working hard/his fans over spending time with his parents. That’s for me regrettable on his side. Either way, he promised to everyone he would have content so maybe it’s true and nobody will feel his absence ^^

And to answer your question whether Im good (thank you for checking, dear!) Frankly I’m so pre-occupied with my own stuff that I can barely keep up with what is happening around me and I have so many personal issues that neither bbh nor exo can help me resolve them and that will always be like that. Kpop is just an entertainment to me so I’ll gladly wait for all Exo’s when its time for their return and enjoy it as much as I can^^ (After all they are strangers to us, we are strangers to them)

PS NATURALLY everyone takes news differently/how they feel so I understand if someone is sad and overwhelmed but the way some people reacted on other social media really didnt make sense to me; i feel bad that so many people put a lot of their emotional reliance in him >< what i mean is that it can be dangerous so its good to take a step back and realize he is just a celebrity, just an “idol” and not our friend and definitely not someone you think you know because it isnt true unfortunately pls realize that and send him off with positive thoughts!
