Did you say Raspberry Beret or Tea?
Dieter Bravo x plus size female reader
This blog is 18+ MDNI
This fic is for general audiances.
Word Count: 777 (Go buy a lotto ticket! 😎)
Summary: You're having a horrible period day and Dieter makes it better. No raspberries were harmed in the making of this fic.
Warnings: mentions of periods, discomfort, fluff
Notes: Not beta-ed. I wrote it at work and tired out a moodboard I think. I'm playing around with them. I blame my uterus for this fic as today sucked while I worked. 😑
Tumblr media
“Ugh
.I roll and I roll and it does nothing.” Your oversized t-shirt rides up under your breasts which adds to your annoyance. You’re sweating and having chills at the same time. Sprawled across the bed, you’ve tried both of your sides, laying on your back which led you to curve it in pain and on your stomach, you had a few minutes or relief before another heat wave came and made it too hot to stay face down.
Sitting up at the side of the bed, your hair is lopsided and your silk bonnet is on the floor. You don’t remember taking it off or hearing it fall. “I took my Midol, I kept chugging water and peeing. I’m still sore, hot and cold
this sucks. What am I missing?!” You rub your palms on your thighs to try and take your mind off how uncomfortable you feel. The floor feels cool though, maybe you should lay on it. It is a beautiful dark hardwood floor, you can see your reflection in it. Your body has a sheen of moisture from your sweat. “Become one with the floor
” You whisper to yourself and then start feeling cold again from so much exposed skin. “My body hates me.”
“Honey Pot, you don’t look too good.” A voice that you’ve missed the last few days as he’s been out of town. Dieter stood in the doorway with a cup of coffee. You love your coffee with four creamers and sugars with some dashes of vanilla extract. “Do I need to call someone? You’re sweaty and you feel cool. That’s really weird.” He handed you the coffee and pecked your lips as you accepted it. His palm touched your forehead before traveling up to smooth down your hair which was sticking up. “You’re on the losing end of a fight huh?” You quickly finished the cup, warming your body from the inside out, then you were again overheated.
“You were so sweet with the coffee and you had to ruin it Dee. It’s one of my heavier days so it’s so much worse. My meds and usual positions aren’t working. It’s horrible. Fix me
” You whined, rather uncharacteristic for you as Dieter was used to you listening to his complaints. He sat next to you on the bed and put his arm around you, the fluffy fabric of his ever present gray robe tickled your neck.
“Aww
my poor sweetheart. What do you need from me? Anything you want I can order?” He asked, you shook your head and sighed. Patting his thigh before intertwining your fingers with his.
“No. I finished the coffee. I think I should have my raspberry tea. That should help, and then play some music, maybe moving around will help instead of just rolling in the bed.”
“Raspberry I can do honey pot. I’ll go start it now!” Bravo jumped up excitedly and ran out of the room. You were surprised to see him that enthusiastic to make you tea. He always said you brewed it too strong. You placed your feet on the cool hardwood floor again and stood, letting the cold travel from your feet, your head flew back from some relief. Your body had once again decided to change temperatures on you.
“Oh god that feels good. I should have gotten up sooner.” You laughed at yourself for not hopping up sooner and walked toward the doorway that led to the living room. Music filled the room as Dieter had turned the Bluetooth speaker all the way up and was shaking his hips with his arms extending out. It looked like he may start doing some kicks any time. “Dieter, what are you doing? Did you make the tea?”
He continued to dance over to you and pulled you toward the center of the room, placing a hand on the small of your back and leading you around in a circle to the rhythm. “I don’t know why you wanted to listen to ‘Raspberry Beret’ but it’s always fun to listen to Prince. Personally, I would have picked ‘I wanna be your lover’ to dance to.”
You stared at Dieter’s bright face as the two of you danced, his face with the same half grin and smirk he normally had. Your head rolls back as you erupt with laughter, forgetting for a bit that your uterus has chosen violence this week. “Another fun one is ‘I would die 4 U’ you know you can’t hit those high notes Dee.”
The two of you continue to swing around the living room to the jovial sounds of ‘Raspberry Beret’ the tea forgotten over the melody.

Redacted-tober 2023 Day Six
Prompt: Caelum and Food
Pairing: Caelum & Bee, my empathy daemon OC
cw: none
Summary: A post-Inversion Caelum could use a pep talk and a snack, and Bee knows how to provide both.
Read on AO3 here!
<- Previous Day | Next Day ->
“Sooo
” Bee says slowly, watching as Caelum pulls ingredients out of the fridge without his usual, enthusiastic glee. “Gavin tells me you’ve been having a hard time recently. I was wondering if you might want to tell me how you’re feeling?” The younger empathy daemon shrugs weakly, purple-painted fingertips tapping an absentminded tattoo against an egg.
“Circinus won’t let me go back to my friends,” he says with a despondent, dejected curl of the lips. “He says that I need to learn how to separate their
sadness and bad things from my sadness and bad things and that I need to learn that the bad things aren’t always bad.” At this, Caelum’s face scrunches in distaste, having spoken and chewed over the words slowly and not liking the mouthfeel. The older empathy daemon nods thoughtfully, the charms hanging off their horns tinkling together like windchimes.
“Do you remember that time you accidentally chugged vanilla extract?” Caelum makes a face again but this time laughing at the silly memory, puckering his lips instinctively.
“It doesn’t taste as good as it smells, I hated that! It was so bitter and sour and blegggh,” he whines, sticking his tongue and making his honorary-steward laugh.
“It’s acrid, yes,” they admit, raising their hands and orchestrating a flurry of bowls and utensils to fly from the shelves of the industrial kitchen they’ve hijacked for the night- the perks of being invisible to the human eye. At the command of their fingers, eggs dance in the air like sugar plum fairies before cracking open, the glistening egg white and golden yolks separating themselves into separate bowls. Caelum beams, hovering off the ground in fascination as the egg whites mix with sugar and whip themselves into clouds and shrieking with laughter when Bee has the bowl hang upside down over his head.
“Try it,” Bee encourages. Caelum runs a finger along the inside of the bowl, marveling at the glossy, marshmallow fluff-like treat and failing to hide his grimace when he tastes it. “How is it?”
“It tastes like eggs and sugar,” he says, wiping his hand on his purple sweater and making Bee roll their eyes affectionately as they magic the mess off his clothes.
“It takes a lot of things to make a dessert good, and not all of them are sweet.” The older daemon pours two tablespoons of vanilla, purple color, a touch of salt into the mix, shaping the batter into perfect, bite-sized spheres. In a snap of the fingers and flash of contained, controlled heat, the cookies are done, and Bee is holding a bowl of freshly baked meringues. “Try it again?” This time, Caelum’s face brightens with joy, literal sparkles haloing his purple-tinted head as he feeds one after another into his mouth.
“They’re so good, thank you!” Caelum says, or Bee thinks he says, with full chipmunk cheeks.
“It’s such a good thing we don’t need to breathe,” they murmur, ruffling his hair to get the crumbs out and pulling a glass of milk out of thin air. “They’re better than before, right?” He nods, taking the cup with gratitude and a messy, lavender smile. “Even better than if I’d given you straight sugar.”
“I tried that once, it sucked.” Caelum mumbles, indignant.
“I heard, Gav told me,” Bee muses, pressing a kiss to his curling, green ram’s horns. “Everything needs balance whether that’s people or recipes or life. The things that aren’t sweet, the things that don’t taste or feel good- they’re just as important. Sometimes you need the sadness, just enough of it, to properly appreciate the happiness, just like how the cookies needed just a little vanilla to complement the sugar.” Caelum chews on that while chewing, watching as Bee waves through the process of making more.
“So people are like cookies we can’t eat,” he says thoughtfully and cheerfully, kicking his feet in the air as batter swirls around his head in little hearts. Bee bites back a laugh, the suspended treats wobbling midair as they try to maintain their control.
“I could very well make the argument that we could and do eat people, but Circinus will get on my ass if I do, so sure, let’s stick with that.”

What flavors of self lubrication do you offer? What is the fave of your partners?
With a half hour of advance notice, I can chug down any kind of flavoring you want and incorporate it in! A little vanilla extract, perhaps? Or a delicate, floral tea? Maybe vodka? Or buffalo sauce? Or mustard? Or gasoline?
Nobody's actually asked for any of those things. But I can do them!
As far as flavors I can manage myself without outside aid, it's mostly the same as my available range of milk flavors—although for some reason the coconut doesn't come out as well. Although I've added a new flavor since I last updated that list! It's a surprise until somebody tries it out.
Anyway, nobody's creative; ninety percent ask for chocolate, another nine percent want various fruits—usually strawberry—and most of the rest want things like mint (I usually swallow a mouthful of toothpaste for that) or honey or cake frosting and the like. It's all very desserty.
I get a surprising number of requests for pineapple from people who regret their choice. I think people hear "eating pineapple makes your nethers sweeter" and assume that means "pineapple-flavored lube will taste sweet rather than like pineapple."
Every once in a while somebody with a vampirism kink asks for blood flavor and I have to point out that I don't have to make blood-flavored lubricant, I can just start bleeding. Fifty percent of the human race already has parts designed to do that on purpose. It's not hard.

Vegeta Eats Vanilla
Somehow I never posted this fic?? Even though I love it??? ANYWAYS!!! Have Vegeta trying Vanilla Extract for the first time!
Why does it seem like people call her when she has her hands full and isn’t able to reach her phone easily? Raine grumbled to herself, stepping off to the side of the sidewalk as she dug her phone out, holding it between her shoulder and ear as she continued to walk.
“Raine here, what’s up?”
“Where are you??” came a familiarly pissed voice on the other side of the phone.
“I’m walking home from the grocery store, why?”
“Why aren’t you at work?” Vegeta seemed to be getting more frustrated.
“Because today’s one of my days off
?” She answered before quirking an eyebrow “Are you outside the shop?”
“Oh...Yeah
”
“Why? Did you need something?” She asked, a little amused by his borderline embarrassed admission. However she knew better than to tease him for it if she wants to stay on his good side.
There was silence on the other end long enough that she was tempted to stop and make sure he hadn’t hung up. “Veg-”
“Bulma kicked me out of the house again to make me stop training.” He answered, speaking quickly enough that it took Raine a minute to process.
Once she understood though, she chuckled softly and relaxed, adjusting the bags in her hands. “I’ll stop by the shop and you’re welcome to come back to my house with me. I’m just making some cookies, and you can take some back with you for the family.” She offered.
Once he agreed, Raine adjusted her path to go by the shop, seeing him waiting impatiently outside with his arms crossed. “Hey Vegeta!” She called with a smile once she reached the block, lifting one arm of groceries in greeting.
“Took you long enough
” He grumbled, pushing off from the building to face her.
“Hey, not all of us can fly.” She retorted, sticking her tongue out at him as she led the way towards her house.
There wasn’t too much talking between the two of them for right now, just Raine humming as she walked, occasionally adjusting the grocery bags. At least, until Vegeta got tired of hearing the bags rustling. So he reached out and took the armful of groceries that was closest to him, hardly even noticing the weight, but letting out a chuckle at the resulting squeak from Raine as she adjusted to the sudden weight shift, being snapped out of whatever train of thought she had been on.
“Oh, you don’t have to do that!” She assured, even trying to take the bags back. Whining when he moved the bags to the other side and out of her reach, she just puffed her cheeks out to pout for a moment before giving him a smile. “Thank you, Vegeta.”
He simply hummed in response, giving a small nod. It’s good to be appreciated.
Thankfully for both of them, it didn’t take too long for them to reach her house finally. She unlocked the door and motioned him in, locking it behind her and taking the bags to the kitchen. “You can just make yourself comfortable and relax.” She offered, starting to put away anything that wouldn’t go into the cookies, turning on her kitchen radio to low music, humming along to it.
Vegeta watched her for a minute before sitting down at her dining table to watch her work, crossing his arms and leaning back some in the chair. It was strange to see Raine away from the shop, since that’s still where they spent most of their time, unless he took her to Capsule Corps. Somehow, her house seemed very her though. Small, not messy but not clean either. Kept darker than Capsule Corps was, which he almost found comforting. However boredom eventually won out, and he got out of his chair to go watch her make the batter. He knew a little bit about baking, but not enough to do it himself.
Raine noticed him come over, perking up some and figuring this meant he was up for a conversation. “Have you ever tried cookie dough before?” She asked, getting two clean spoons before he even had a chance to answer.
Vegeta didn’t even bother trying to answer, since by the time he opened his mouth, there was a spoon full of dough in his face. So instead he settled for quirking his eyebrow and taking the spoon. He stared at it for a moment, watching Raine out of the corner of his eye to see how she ate it, mimicking after. He wasn’t necessarily a sweets person, and this was certainly sweet. Not unpleasantly so though. He hummed in thought before continuing to eat it, watching her go back to stirring with her own spoon in her mouth. He watched her put some dark liquid in the dough, leaning in a bit because it smelled really nice. Familiar. “What’s that?”
Raine looked at him curiously before following his gaze, perking up. “This is vanilla extract. I’m pretty sure it just adds more flavor to the dough, makes it sweeter. And it smells wonderful.” She answered, though was very surprised when he held his now empty spoon out. “You...you want to try it?” She asked, wanting to make sure she understood.
“What else would I be sticking this out for?” He scoffed, pushing his spoon out just a little more for emphasis.
“If you insist.” She mumbled, pouring just a tiny bit into it and excited to see his reaction, dough momentarily forgotten. So she just watched as he put the spoon in his mouth, biting down a grin.
Vegeta stood there for a moment as he processed, his expression gradually changing as the taste set in. His eyebrows furrowed first, followed by his nose slowly scrunching up in displeasure. He put the spoon down on the counter and went to her fridge, doing his best to be casual, and grabbed the first soda he saw to start chugging it to get the taste out of his mouth.
Raine immediately started laughing despite knowing the pain, her laughter only growing in volume when he flipped her off, glaring at her out of the corner of his eye. When he finally stopped to take a breath, he set the soda on the counter and pointed at her “Why didn’t you warn me it would taste so revolting??”
“You didn’t ask!” She retorted through her giggles, leaning against the counter to keep upright. Vegeta went over and gave her a very gentle nudge, which still made her stumble despite herself.

Hot Chocolate Party (Hot Chocolate)
Tumblr media
Day 24 of @silentlyfangirlingselfshipper’s A Very Shippy Christmas event has finally arrived and it’s nearing the end of the road my friends, and the theme is about hot chocolate. I want to make a fun idea with the fam bunch hosting a hot chocolate and cookies party a few days before Christmas. It’s a lot fun of coming up with what goes down in the party, so have fun reading this as much as I enjoy making them.
We always host a hot chocolate & cookies party a few days before Christmas (usually about 3-5 days) and often after a family style dinner, served light as not to make people too full for the main event: dessert and hot drinks. We often serve guests a salad and a grilled lean meat with 2 sides (starch and vegetable) as the dinner before the big dessert fun.
Always gotta have hot chocolate homemade for the party, as me and Issa prepared it in a slow cooker from a mix of semi-sweet & milk chocolate bars or chips, cocoa powder, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and condensed milk. We tried to make it as lactose-free as possible for many lactose intolerant guests.
While the hot chocolate is the drink of focus, we also have apple cider, coffee, and tea for anyone who may want something aside from the chocolate.
We have set up a topping bar of small marshmallows, chocolate & peanut butter chips, crushed candy canes, caramel syrup, hot fudge sauce, toffee bits, pretzel rods, cinnamon sticks, coffee creamers, finely chopped nuts, candy sprinkles, and whipped cream. We even have some spirits drinks for anyone who wants a more spiked drink, to-go mugs, regular mugs, and wood spoons.
Cookies are also served along with the chocolate and other hot drinks as they go well together; among the cookies being served and brought in by guests include shortbread cookies, chocolate chip cookies, kiss cookies, thumbprint cookies, oatmeal cookies, snickerdoodles, gingersnaps, sugar cookies, and peanut butter cookies.
There are many times that we saw people dunking the cookies onto the hot chocolate. In fact, almost all of the fam bunch do this at least once during the party. This is also from when I had my last wisdom tooth extraction where I had to dunk some cookies into a mug of malt chocolate drink to take some medicine.
Believe it or not, Issa did brought in something different for the hot chocolate party one time: she made some tsokolate eh (which is the Filipino way of making hot chocolate using chocolate tablea (cocoa balls/discs) and has nuts for a nuttier flavor). A little forewarning: this kind of hot chocolate (unless it doesn’t have nuts in them, which is the one she used for that time) is not safe for anyone with nut allergies, just stick with plain hot chocolate for your health and safety.
While Kairi can handle most of the cookie baking, she’s pretty happy whenever anyone offers to bring in other kinds of cookies as not to strain her down. Michiru and Belle’s neighbor in her apartment complex Mrs. Potts often help her out with that part.
Oh trust me, I have to get Kirby and Scooby (and even Rowlet in some cases) to control themselves from trying to finish up the cookies. Thankfully, Harry and Ron are on hand to make sure that the cookies and hot chocolate don’t get finished up quickly by these guys before everyone else gets to them via security charm spells. On the other hand though

Harry’s guilty of chugging down hot chocolate like a thirsty hobo in a desert and it gets increased during the holidays when it gets super cold outside. Seriously, if it’s not coffee he’s drinking, around 95% of the time he’ll take hot chocolate over tea. And yes, he has one of the worst sweet teeth in the fam bunch. Not unless we’re talking about the time when Ron sneaked in one too many chili peppers into his hot chocolate as a prank two years ago, nearly giving him fire breath from drinking it for days.
Maui getting drunk on spiked hot chocolate, anyone? If this happens when you’re at our place, expect him to be off his kilter, making bad uncle jokes, and act really, really weird towards friends, family, and strangers when under the influence of too much booze in his hot chocolate. Help please!

15 with Vegeta?
Self-Ship Drabble Asks!
“15. Cooking something together” 1,361 words! Might have gotten a biiiit carried away (Alt. Title: “Vegeta Tries Vanilla” )
Why does it seem like people call her when she has her hands full and isn’t able to reach her phone easily? Raine grumbled to herself, stepping off to the side of the sidewalk as she dug her phone out, holding it between her shoulder and ear as she continued to walk.

He grumbled and went back to his seat, being pouty now. He found himself actually dozing off some once Raine’s giggle fit had passed, and they fell into quietly enjoying each other’s company, with the radio in the kitchen filling the silence.
Next thing he knew, he woke up to the smell of cookies filling the apartment, and Raine quietly setting a container of cookies in front of him. He sat up and uncrossed his arms “Done already?” He asked, slowly stretching out.
Raine chuckled softly and nodded “You’ve been asleep for about an hour now. Figured you might as well take some cookies home for the family.” She said, tapping the lid of the container before going to get the last batch of cookies out of the oven.
Vegeta checked the time and nodded, figuring that he’d been gone long enough and should be able to get back to training. So he finally got up, picking up the container. “I should probably get back
” He said, hesitating a little though.
Raine gave him a smile “Say hi to Bulma for me please! And you’re welcome over any time, just try to give me at least a few minutes heads up, okay?”
Another nod from the Prince, turning his back to her as he got ready to leave. However he paused before leaving the kitchen to turn his head over his shoulder. “Thank you.” He said, a little stiffly, then leaving out the front door and taking off. Raine was kind of surprised by the gratitude, but she couldn’t help beaming even further, knowing he doesn’t go saying that freely. He’s getting better.
