Hello everyone!! I am back for REAL this time!!

I am deeply sorry about the SUPER long hiatus that this blog was on, I had a lot going on at the time but now I've got everything figured out and under control so I think I'm finally ready to be active on this blog again! And there are a LOT of new things I'm going to be trying out too and some old stuff I'm going to bring back as well, such as:

More of my own art! I'm going to start posting some of my sketches and WIPs instead of waiting until I have digitally outlined and colored them because that always takes AGES for me to finish XD

Analysis and headcanon posts! This is something I have ALWAYS wanted to do but was too shy to because everyone has very different headcanons and interpretations, but I've realized that there isn't really anything to fear about sharing my own thoughts and headcanons, especially since this fandom is generally very kind and accepting of different headcanons and opinions and interpretations!

More memes! Anyone who's been following this blog since its very early days probably remembers that I used to make a lot of simple memes and character alignment charts. I stopped doing that because I ran out of ideas, but now I have way more new ideas since I know practically everything about Mega Man at this point!

Polls! Ever since I learned of tumblr's new poll feature, I've been brimming with ideas for Mega Man related polls! I'm thinking I might make it a weekly or biweekly thing and I can't wait to make some soon!

YouTube Recommendations! One thing I've learned about myself in this past year or so is that I LOVE finding and listening to remixes and covers of Mega Man themes, especially my favorite ones! I am just absolutely obsessed with it, I even have a whole playlist of my favorite ones that I found! And because of that I think it would be a really cool idea if I made posts linking each one of them and putting my commentary either in the post or in the tags! They are just SO GOOD, y'all, I just HAVE to share them so you can all hear them and so I can talk about them!!

And I think that's everything! Also just because I have a lot of new original stuff I plan to post doesn't mean that I'm going to reblog stuff any less, I still plan on reblogging everyone's amazing content all the same and there are a LOT of posts that I've been meaning to reblog that I wasn't able to get around to doing before. I'm thinking of setting up a queue that will post like 2 or 3 reblogs a day and I may post more or less on certain days, but that might take a little while since I still need to write tags for a least a good few posts since all of them have either no tags yet or only have very few tags. But I know everything's going to work out in the end and I am very excited about getting this blog up and running again!

Alastor doesn't actually know that much French canonically! In addition, it'd be French-creole rather than normal French if he did speak it fluently!

While I like the idea of him speaking a different language fluently, the thought of him having a hard time learning another language and having to read children's books and sound out the words is a very sweet idea. Particularly if he does so because his mother is able to speak the language just fine. Rise up for Alastor not knowing and having difficulties learning another language but he tries his best! Seriously this could be a fun and relatable aspect of his character that too many people are missing out on in favor of him speaking normal French fluently.

toji being all bundled up in his winter coat with a pretty green scarf around his neck (that you gifted him btw). his nose is red and his cheeks even redder as he taps his foot on the crunchy snow. he's waiting for you.

with his hands stuffed into his pockets, he hides from the cold bite while eyeing the passersby with furrowed brows, and even though the scarf hides the lower half of his face, you know he's wearing a sort of scowl. it's closer to a pout more than anything, but you won't mention it. his ears perk up at the sound of your voice calling his name and you feel warm at the sight of his face lighting up just a bit. it's cute. it's cute that he's so excited to see you.

he meets you halfway, his hands reaching for you as you close the distance between you. it's a quiet greeting, a very simple 'hi' accompanied by his scarred lips pressing against your temple as you hug him. in his arms, you feel safe. you feel at home. when he pulls away, he takes a second to look at you – the stars in your eyes, the bashful smile on your lips. toji thinks you look pretty as ever.

but his cute little daydream doesn't last.

a gasp makes its way out of the depths of his throat the second your hands cup his face, your frozen fingers sending shivers down his back.

the look on his face makes you giggle and the sound makes him furrow his brows again in return. he clicks his tongue. "you'll freeze to death."

"you'll save me."

he shakes his head with a sigh but takes your hands into his nonetheless. while keeping his, now very determined, eyes on your fingers, he brings them up to his face and gently blows warm air on them.

you hum. "my saviour."

the tips of his ears burn – his nose, his cheeks, but surely it's just because of the cold and because of his teasing lover. surely.

you see the grin he's so desperately trying to hold back and laugh at him once more. "my hero."

he grumbles. "be quiet."

he's still holding your hands, he's still warming them up. there isn't even an inkling of thought about letting you go, about letting your poor little fingers freeze. he will hold onto you for the entirety of the walk that's ahead of you. so he can keep you warm. and not because he so desperately wants to hold your fucking hand. it's not that. no way.

you lean up your toes while intertwining your fingers with his, and with no questions asked, he bends over to close the gap between you again. this is how it works. love.

a pair of cold lips meet the tip of his nose and toji lets his eyes fall shut at the sweet touch. he lets out a relieved sigh, a content one, and savours the way you smile against him. a kiss, and then another. a haste one to his lips before pulling back with that very same grin on your face that he adores so much. the kind of playful one, the one that tells him that you're going to be throw snowballs at him very soon. he loves it.

"are you going to get hot chocolate with me today, toji?"

he lets your glued together hands fall, only for you to start swinging them side to side. he doesn't tell you to stop.

"no."

"liar."

toji rolls his eyes, tonguing at his inner cheek as he does so.

"with marshmallows."

he loves you.

Been thinking about this 2mm thick stickfigure. Why is it so fun drawing these stupid weirdos. I kinda wonder if he knows if Alan is a human or not.

Anyways, I hope I cry my eyes out at the finale <3.

I find spiteful antagonists so intrinsically poetic. When a character's motives are laid out so simply as "I have been hurt and I need others to feel the same", we empathize. We all have felt rejection, or anger, or fear. And we all have felt that need to express it. We may not agree to a characters motives or actions, but we understand on such a deep level WHY they feel that way. And if that person isn't too far gone, we beg for them to step down. We beg for them to understand they are not alone. Because, somehow someway, we see ourselves in their suffering.
