My personal pet peeves in Naruto fandom include people reducing Sasuke to a whiny “emo” like he’s some kid in your band class that just likes eyeliner and dramatic metal, people acting like he did anything wrong to Sakura and she needs saving from him when he never pursued her (and if she were the man people would be calling her a harasser and manipulative), acting like he should be kissing her feet in their marriage, people who think Kakashi was a bad teacher who didn’t care, people who think he didn’t deserve to be Hokage, people who minimize Naruto’s suffering as a kid, who think Sasuke needs more “redemption” than Garaa or Orochimaru???, who think Sakura trying to manipulate Naruto’s feelings (despite the reason) was okay, people who just think the Uchiha were bad cursed, people but also people who hate them for being fictional cops (??? really), people who give Jiraiya a pass on everything, that whole narrative that Shikamaru and Choji were little Naruto’s BFFs and should have been more important to him than Sasuke based on filler, who think Itachi’s manipulation of Sasuke was justified (I don’t hate him but even he admits he made a big mistake?), Hiruzen’s whole existence, people acting like Kakashi is weak when most shinobi would have died against the enemies he went up against and he bodies 98% of them but they always had him fighting the 2%…

Ok I’m tired.
