Alex watched carefully as Nicholas took a bite from his outstretched fork and then grinned at the pleased hum. The grin widened at the Viscount's remarks. "Food is a love language... at least for me....and my family..." He cleared his throat, hoping that the dim lighting of the restaurant hid the heat in his face.

"Here..." Alex didn't even hesitate to switch plates between them when he saw Nick eyeing the rest of his food. "Besides, I'm curious about what you chose..." Nicholas's choice was more hearty, comforting, different from the spice of Alex's dish but it went very well with the wine the Viscount chose for them when they sat down.

He appreciated the quiet corner the host sat them in. It was more quiet, more secluded, and they could be a little more open with each other. Alex caught himself leaning in closer to Nick, hanging on his every word as he talked animatedly.

Yeah, he was just a little bit in love...

Alex didn't know why he answered the door of his hotel room, he wasn't expecting anyone. He had an idea though, the way his stomach flipped , curling in on itself as the door opened. So he wasn't completely surprised when he saw Henry standing there, still in his tux from the event earlier in the night. Alex hated how good Henry looked, looking like the James Bond offspring that he was...

It reminded him of that first time in the Red Room...

Alex didn't know why he let Henry in, giving him a chance to try and explain himself, or apologize, or whatever it was he was trying to do. He didn't deserve it, the prince made it perfectly clear that he didn't want to see him anymore. So why was Alex torturing himself?

"Couldn't or wouldn't?" He finally spoke up as the bitterness settled deep in his stomach as he pushed down the wantneedlove. "You were very clear that you didn't want anything to do with me... I think I did a pretty good job at ignoring you considering..."

Considering how much Alex wanted to push the prince up against the closest wall and show him what he was missing. Considering how much Henry hurt him...

"Unless you're just worried I'm going to out you... because you know I would never do that... I would never hurt you, Hen.." Even after the sleepless nights after Austin and Kensington, Alex Claremont-Diaz was still in love with Prince Henry, and would take that to the grave if he had to.

Henry Fox was a fucking tease. It all started out innocently enough, with Alex working on some school work, while Henry read. They were supposed to have an early night since they both had to get up early in the morning, but it seemed Henry had other things on his mind...

"Oh, fuck me..." Alex cursed his laptop, clicking through his notes.

"Well since you asked..." The laptop was suddenly taken from his lap and replaced with a rather eager former Prince.

Which is how Alex found himself stretched out on the bed, a panting mess, with Henry whispering huskily into his ear.

"Yes... please... por favor mi amor...Henry... please..."

Alexander Hamilton wouldn't be upset that Alex Claremont-Diaz is fornicating with his male lover under his own portrait. Honestly he'd probably think it's hilarious and ironic and say something along the lines of "Well I did say, fuck the British..."

Running outside into the English rain without a coat was probably not a good idea, but he was pissed ok? His mom just became President and yet, he was being shipped out here to get away from the political pundits who were already pissed that a brown kid was representing their country.

"Do I?" Alex raised a brow, chuckling softly as he wrapped his arms more around Henry's waist. "Even if I'm all gross and sweaty from coming in from a run?" This was the routine for them now; Alex going out for a run, bringing David along, and stopping at their favorite bakery to bring treats to go with the coffee and tea Henry will have waiting for them...

"Are you saying you're attracted to my natural musk?" Alex was teasing him now, nuzzling into Henry's neck, not knowing how much sweat was getting on his boyfriend's collar.

Alex made a face at his mother's choice of words. He wasn't just sleeping with the Prince of England. Though, they weren't dating either. Were they? He sighed, and let himself fall back against the couch, arm crossed over his chest like it would protect his feelings while he tried to figure them all out.

"He's not in love with me... he can't be..." Alex didn't mean for the words to come out as bitter as it did. He looked between his mom and the pizza box she pushed forward before plucking a pepperoni, popping it in his mouth to give him a moment to think.

"I really like him..." Alex's words came out soft, cautious, like he was sure the world would implode around him if he said them out loud. "But I know it's complicated... and I don't want to ruin the election for you... and I don't want to be his dirty secret..." But he knew that was all he could be for now. Even if Henry wanted more, Alex knew Henry's family would never allow it, and would never understand.

"Maybe I am in over my head..."

Alex raised a brow, his smirk faltering only slightly. Henry asked him to stay, and yet was giving him directions on how to sneak out so no one would know he was even there at all. Was the Prince giving him an easy way out if he didn't want to stay? Or did he ask Alex to stay just to be nice? He hated how much he was second guessing himself. He was usually confident with things like this. Though, this was so new to him, and not new to Henry, he was allowed to be a little self conscious.

So Alex did what he did best; he distracted, and he hoped he could distract Henry enough to get him to drop his mask and give him a real answer on whether or not he really wanted him to stay.

"You're giving me whiplash here, baby. Think you can use your big boy words and give me a real answer?" When Henry didn't move, Alex found himself letting out a sigh of impatience and moved to push the Prince back against the bed so he could crawl up his body and straddle his hips. He leaned down, running his nose up Henry's jaw so he could whisper in his ear, "If you want me to stay, tell me to stay..."
