Ough.#Basically him and his little brother tried to resurrect their dead mom with magic (gone wrong) and got massively Screwed for it#Edward got half of his limbs revoked and Alphonse (his brother) lost his entire body. Anakin Amputation Special.#The military (crowd boos as tomatoes fly) goes to draft these freshly traumatized 11 and 10 year old#Unfortunately this is the best lead they have on undoing the Screwing done to them by God itself#So they decide to join the military (booing intensifies) so learn MORE magic because surely that'll fix the problem right#Edward becomes the youngest state alchemist ever.#He and Alphonse decide to burn down their childhood home on October 3rd so they couldn't turn back even if they wanted to#(and also maybe a little to bury the memories of the Thing that they brought back but nahhh)#So.
