there’s a lot of reasons why I feel people wouldn’t be interested. For one, I’m pretty self conscious about what I write since I’m not the most skilled “author” in this fandom. But also, in my experience, if a story doesn’t have anything overtly romantic with the ppg and the rrb, it just doesn’t get any fan interaction which is really hard when your love language is words of affirmation 😭 and I know it’s super lame but this fandom’s small enough so I’m not going to waste days just for one note and feel bummed about myself, ya feel?

BUT THAT WAS THE OLD ME

I’m so glad I came up with this dumb ask game b/c I’m finally looking back at old drafts that I rejected because they didn’t fit the “fandom vibe” and going “wait this is FUNNY!! I have FUN thinking about this!” And then I had this moment literally last night where I was like ya know what, I’m not one of the big content creators in this fandom, I can’t draw for shit, and sometimes my shit flops but I don’t an H E double FUCK about it anymore

I’m just going to write what I write and if I abandon fics I’m not going to feel guilty about it 👏👏 and we’ll see how long this boost of confidence lasts but I’m feeling pretty good about myself rn so thank you all for entertaining me and sending a number you’ve helped more than you know

And ALSO posiongod’s right and they should say it 👏 we as a fandom need to give brick and blossom the break they fking DESERVE. They aren’t even the best “red” couple in the canon show not when Sedusa and Ms. Bellum literally exist!!?! we could have some of the greatest enemies to lovers smut fics in the WORLD with two characters over consenting age in the canon show but nooooooo no we have 900 fics of two awkward as fuck gingers trying to bone between lunch and p.e.

It’s hate crime and I aim to fix that
