man this was so fun!! i loved getting to hang out and joke around with everybody. also somebody (i think it was h0dge-p0dge?) suggested we all play Gartic Phone together which i am SO on board with-

nobody's fault! i'm just a bit burnt out and also i'm gonna be pretty swamped for the next few weeks/months. prom is next saturday, the musical i'm gonna be doing spotlights for is starting the week after that, and both my birthday AND graduation will be happening in May. in other words, pray for me 💀

if anyone else wants to take a turn organizing another event like this, go right on ahead! i think its so wonderful that we have this little community on here and getting to see everybody having fun together warms my cold, gamer heart. so go have fun and keep being kind to each other.

unfortunately rdj’s outfit at the golden globes was also a Bobert, and so was his look at the palm springs international film festival 🥲

i’m not sure what’s going on with his styling lately, but he’s been wearing some boxy/double-breasted suits quite often and those cuts don’t really work well for him because they make him look so much smaller and shorter. also the fact that he wore nikes with his pink suit at the PSIFF — bobert, why?

also, don’t love the pockets on that pink suit jacket, though the silver tie was a great touch. the suit for the golden globes was alright since it wasn’t as boxy as most other double-breasted suits and those pants would have actually made him look a bit taller if that jacket wasn’t just a touch oversized. but an issue we have with him lately that we truly can’t forgive is how dark his hair is. okay so maybe he’s not ready to go full silver fox, which is fine!! but it seems like davy picked up the wrong box of just for men hair dye and they didn’t have time to fix it, so that was upsetting.

we LOVED that he wore pink and maroon. he’s always great at picking fun colors to wear. but please, please i’m begging him to wear something cinched for his next big red carpet appearance 😔

once again susan looked fucking incredible and god, he is so lucky to have her.

i love bobby and eddie's relationship and i think bobby meant only good and loving things by giving him that prayer book, but i also think bobby's encouragement of eddie to like rekindle his relationship to god and the church is a little misguided in the way only a well-meaning catholic can be. i think a lot of eddie's issues are related to the fact that he's catholic and carries a lot of guilt (two separate but related things) but i don't necessarily think that becoming a practising catholic would be as helpful to him as it's been to bobby, because i don't think eddie feels like he's a sinner, per se.

i think he feels like he's a failure. and i think that even extends to being a lapsed catholic — that he didn't intentionally take a step away from catholicism but just kind of let it fall to the wayside, and now it's creeping up on him again in ways he didn't expect, just like shannon, just like his feelings of failure about raising chris, just like his parents. and i don't think that anything other than making a firm decision to let go (of those feelings, even if he doesn't let go of his sense of familial/cultural connection to catholicism more broadly) is going to really be able to help him on that front. like i don't actually think he needs jesus necessarily — i think he just needs to be able to take himself down from the cross.

unfortunetly i have been overtaken by another illness (a bobert ship that is even wackier and shipped by one person other than me back in like 2019) BUT i still think theyre a very cool ship yes yes

idk if i have hcs for them ghhhhhh hhmmm idk i think im just gonna ramble abt them so i come up with smth

i just think theyre very cute!! i think bobert would already understand him cuz i bet he can translate and so but even if he didnt he would still try to understand him. hell they both try to understand eachother the best they can and help eachother out!!!!!

(and i think very often they wouldnt even talk to eachother. just stand next to eachother or do something cute without saying a word. yk comfortable silence between eachother <3)

Leaping down from his perch with a heavy thunk of his boots beside the much smaller super, any form of greeting left as suddenly the Spider had arrived when he realized just how much he towered over her, something Hobie was rather keen on pointing out with a laugh from behind the mask. "You one of the new Spidey's then? What- Heh, well you're a tiny little pincher, yeah? Bet it makes the whole slingshot-y thing easier too. 'ey, you ever have someone throw you at a baddie? Would work real good, they wouldn't see that shit coming 'till you hit 'em like Bam!."

Can ya come to my room and open it in there?" *and if bobby were to follow mondo to his bedroom, the boy will open his door and gesture for him to go in first. of course the moment he steps into the room he'll very quickly find his present, that being one very happy kaito who's got tons of ribbons wrapped all over him!! there's even a loopy puff bow both on the top of his head and affixed to his jacket where his previous high school's insignia normally is!*

"Happy birthday, Papa!!" *he exclaims, sparkles in his eyes as he wiggles so much that he accidentally tips over and flops on top of mondo's bed! of course this doesn't bother him in the slightest, kaito laughing both at his little fall and his dad's reaction!!*

"This was his idea, not mine. The second the idea popped into his head he wouldn't stop botherin' me for days until I agreed to help him." *mondo sighs as glances towards the excited and wiggly astronaut, wondering what goes on in his little bro's head sometimes*

"Hmm? Awkward, you say?" Bobby tilts his head at that, wondering what the present could possibly be! "I see...sure! I don't mind~! I can't wait to see what it is, hehe! Thank you, Mondo!" He chimes, as he follows Mondo to his room! Seeing that the biker would like for him to enter the room, first, Bobby does just that.

"Alllrightttyyy, let us see what my wonderful biker nephew has gotten m...!!! Oh-!" A surprised gasp interrupts Bobby when seeing that the "present" in question...is actually Kaito!! "K-Kaito!! Well now!" Truly not what he expected at all!! But it's a good kind of surprised, with his smile widening immediately as he walks closer to him~ "Hehehe! My own son as my present, how delightful~! Being gifted the best present I have ever recieved in my life, once more! Oh and thank you, son~!" Then when he sees him tip over like that, he can't help but laugh, and goes over to help sit him back up, bfore he'll start to unwrap him! As he does so, he nods along as Mondo explains, chuckling in response. "Is that so? Hehehe! So silly, you are, Kaito~! And you going along with it, Mondo! Yep, I couldn't ask for a better surprise! Thank you boys so much!! Once I finish unwrapping my boy, you both are getting the biggest Bobby hug, everrr!! I love ya guys!!"
