your guide to casual glam⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍰
your absolute go-to guide to master the art of casual glam and be glamorous even when ur not expected to be, bcuz glamor is a LIFESTYLE…💬🎀
ATTIRE ;
♡ fluffy slippers or princessy slides
♡ matching lounge sets
a matching lounge set is a MUST have for casual glamour in ur day to day life. they're perfect for just running errands, doing ur pretty girl maintenance and even just lounging around the house. they instantly make u look put together. bonus points if u accessorize accordingly…💬🎀
♡ velour/juicy couture tracksuits
♡ long flowy robes around the house
♡ bloomer shorts are absolutely adorable when ur lounging around, they make u look like a literal DOLL
MAKEUP ;
when i think of casually glamorous makeup looks i think very victoria's secret, very natural looking makeup thats kind of dewy, but has hints of glam. whether thats a shimmery gloss or a winged eyeliner…💬🎀
♡ glam makeup is all about creating a look thats not doing too much. u can capture this look by mixing in the tiniest bit of moisturizer into ur foundation. doing so will sheer out the pigment of the foundation -> resulting in less coverage BUT that gives u a skin like finish which is perfect for the casual glam.
♡ for ur eyes go for more nude/muted colors and finish with the tiniest bit of something glittery for that shimmery, glamorous look. a SLIGHTLY shimmery eye with a nude base + a winged eyeliner will EATTT.
HOT TIP ; use something with a straight edge when applying ur eyeshadow (business card for example) so that it'll make a rly clean line for ur eyeshadow. you'd put it at the end of the eye and tilt up towards ur temple…💬🎀
♡ go for a warmer blush look and use apply some mascara onto ur top lashes, but for ur bottom lashes use ur eyeliner for a more dainty natural look
CASUAL GLAM MUST HAVE ITEMS ;
♡ ur bedazzled water bottle
duh, hydration is super duper important for us to function in the best way possible and be healthy and glowing. this is ur sign to go and have some fresh, cold water…💬🎀
infused water recipes :
for some extra casual glam points, make some infused water to add some flavor and extra nutrients to ur water. you can simply add lemons, or add other fruits like strawberries and cucumbers.
♡ ur headphones
headphones are a MUST when running errands and doing miscellaneous chores. listening to music makes any task 10x better and more glamorous…💬🎀
♡ a yummy candle and a captivating task
a sweet smelling candle being lit is like, essential especially if ur going to be home all day and ofc u need a task to do so that then ur managing ur time and putting it into things that are meaningful…💬🎀

i've spent a lot of time saying "here's what you could do" as a witch versus "here is what i actually do" as a witch, so let's go.
as much as i try to stir my coffee in one direction or another, it always ends up counter-clockwise - instead of seeing it as a mistake, i just work around it by thinking of it like, i'm banishing (counter-clockwise) negativity from my day versus attracting (clockwise) positivity.
i tend to use colors that align with planets versus other folkloric associations - instead of a green candle for money, i'll use a blue one because blue is associated with jupiter which is associated with wealth and good fortune. lucky for me, all the other planets have colors that align appropriately so i don't have to think about those as much (sun - gold, moon - silver, mercury - ehhhhh a mix of like, yellow/violet/indigo, venus - baby pink/mint, mars - red/rust, etc etc.).
i have a money bowl that i redo on the first of every month and i set a cinnamon stick above my front door for prosperity - i have a tiny little angel of a bunny whose health means more to me than the ritualistic act of blowing cinnamon into your home from outside the front door.
my "grimoire" or book of shadows or WHATEVER you wanna call it lives on my computer via onenote and is also scattered through many many notebooks i have collected over the years - if i'm being honest, i am way too picky about my handwriting and messing things up when i am writing in pen that i would just rather keep it somewhere i can type and alt+f to get where i need to go.
my main altar lives on a pretty gold and faux marble bookshelf but honestly, my whole house is my altar - there are sacred spaces at every corner if you know what to look for.
if i want something for my craft, i try to repurpose old things or thrift for them - you'd be amazed what you can do with some of the most basic things (i found my money bowl, which is a crystal dish, at the thrift store for 99 cents); the dollar 25 tree is also a good spot to shop for cheap trinkets.
much of my craft is muscle memory, which has come from YEARS of practice - if i'm cooking and need to use like, basil for example (luck, money, protection), i just kind of already know what it's "good for" and keep that in the front of my mind while i'm cooking so the intent doesn't get buried.
i really REALLY prefer to make my own stuff but that's not always feasible - i really thought the other day that i could just start making candles for myself and had to put that thought on HOLD because let's be real, i'm not doing all that. instead, i will continue to use all the chime candles i have collected over the years instead of immediately going out to find something new.
cleansing ritual who? every time i mop my floor or clean the baseboards or wipe down the counter, i'm cleansing my space. i very much believe that mundane cleaning can be equally as magical and therapeutic if the intent is there.
same thing with literally any other magical thing i do these days: i won't go digging for new items to serve me and my spellwork, i will just use what i already have.
doing spells when the opportunity presents itself versus days of planning - i got a new body wash the other day whose main ingredient and scent is rose so i figured i could use it for a glamour at some point; needed some cinnamon the other day for pancakes and stashed some away for use as a catalyst later on; stuck a bay leaf in my pasta sauce while cooking and made a little wish beforehand.
tethers. everywhere. this one's a bit personal for me but generally speaking, i like to tie energy to a physical object and store it for later use.
i have never buried anything in my yard for any reason - i usually just stick it in a box if the spell isn't finished, cleanse and reuse, or discard all together after thanking it for its assistance.
i swear i have a mean tarot deck and a nice one so i tend to be biased and choose accordingly. 🙃
i also have two pendulums i don't use and a set of blue goldstone runes that i have had for 8 years but don't touch anymore. let that be a gentle reminder that you don't have to do all the things, i promise.
anyway, those are some things about my craft ok bye

perfume, cologne, fragrance and scented products in general are about to be EVERYWHERE in marketing and the beauty / self care / luxury industries i think
their product descriptions, ad campaigns, and fans and customers (myself included!) place so much weight on the idea of “wearing” an emotion, using scent as a way to craft personal identity, to help you embody extremely specific feelings— which i get from both a personal and marketing standpoint. it’s so intimate, it’s about crafting a specific sense of self which is immediately recognizable to all around you, and they don’t even have to look at you to pick up on it! it’s ephemeral storytelling which you carry around on your very being! it’s so… fantastical and mystical feeling! like a magical glamour! while also being SO grounded in the physicality of the world, one of our most honest and difficult to ignore senses, an instinct to smell and be smelled which is such a basic animal impulse… idk i do love it, i am guilty despite my critiques of the industry! because it is also industry. from the marketing perspective, obviously, this crafting of selfhood moment to moment, ever-adaptable and easy as purchasing a new product, is something our generation is soooo obsessed with rn. see: microtrends, -cores, aesthetics, hyper-specific “types of girls”, etc! tiktok is already hitting me with so many perfume ads and i know it’s going to be even more widespread very soon
there’s also something about like… the pandemic + wearing masks + the profound and undeniable human relationship to scent which i find slightly more difficult to articulate! i still wear a mask and believe it is a social, political, and public health necessity for everyone else to wear one, too. but i also do get, like i said, the raw desire for scent. it is a sense so linked to human memory, human daily life, human connection, eroticism, etc. and many people who are the primary consumers of perfume and other scented items have obviously, even if only subconsciously, felt extremely deprived of that the past several years. we have been so literally chemically sterilized of all smell.
in other words, we are yearning for the palette of the world— and perfume allows us to capture it, to hold it as close as our own skin, to bring it inside of us. to literally bottle, sell, and possess the essence of the natural resources our corporations are destroying, the natural world which we feel increasingly severed and isolated from… just a thought, for next time you see a perfume ad, or pick out a new scent for your bathroom hand soap.

!!!SPOILERS FOR SECONDARY QUEST FROM BLOOD AND WINE (WITCHER 3 GAME DLC)!!!
There's a curse inspired by a quest (The Warble of a Smitten Knight) from Witcher 3 B&W so I put a spoiler just in case you don't want any of it spoiled <3 The curse is surprisingly a very small part of the actual quest, but like,,, I don't wanna take any chances! I'm using the curse as my base (ALL PICTURES ARE FROM THE WIKIPEDIA PAGE FOR THE GAME) I see two ways of this starting. EITHER Geralt arrives in a town only to overhear some hushed comments in a tavern about how awful the bard playing is, and how they miss the one that went missing ever since he went into the forest a few years back, followed by the other man at the table chiming in with the fact more men have disappeared in that exact same forest or Geralt is riding through a forest only to find a note that has hastily written "HELP - REDWOOD FOREST" on it, either stuck in a tree branch, on the ground, or attached to the foot of a bird. Geralt meanders around the woods, and no matter which way he learns of the danger, he comes across a huge tree, with a home carved into it. He enters the home and finds it has many floors. Geralt hears someone singing. He climbs the steps for quite frankly an annoying amount of time, before he comes across what appears to be some sort of... Witchy labratory. Note that I'm also heavily inspired by Auntie Ethel from Baldur's Gate 3 so I'm kinda thinking of some sort of hag-witch-thing like her as the villain, but you can change it into pretty much anything with magic and a bad attitude. Geralt sees beakers and flasks and bibs and bobs and an abnormal amount of bone jewelry and furniture, and in the corner of the room is a large birdcage, holding a chained man inside. The man, upon noticing Geralt is there, beams and begins explaining how he always knew help would come for him. The witch (or whatever else) kills anything she deems has "trespassed" too close to her home or too long in the forest in of itself. Jaskier is the only survivor, as she heard his singing and decided she wanted to keep him. To make it harder for him to escape, she has cursed him to have the likeness of the very songbird she likened his singing to. It's songbird of your choice, really. He could look like a lark, a nightingale, orioles like in the original quest, a literal songbird, it's all up to you.
I however like to imagine Jaskier has two large wings on his back, and maybe even bird feet. Now I don't fuck with her "can only live seven more years" or "give some of the curse to another person" outcomes, I like to think that that if Geralt cures Jaskier, he can keep his wings at the least, and there isn't any bad consequences. Perhaps maybe still thinking sticks would be great in his bed or something funny like that lmfao If Geralt can't cure Jaskier, he can just protect him from townsfolk, poachers, and creatures alike. Perhaps they get a glamour spell enchanted item from a sorcerer or something for him to appear human so he can play music for crowds. If he does get cured, perhaps this can be a way they hide his wings!

No one asked for it but I'm gonna share it anyways bc I want to. Queued post don't kill me.
World Building!
(Specifically during Era 3 bc I can do what I want.)
CW - Privacy Violations, inhumane punishment
Despite Terzo trying so, so hard for his ghouls — to make changes to the regulations, to give them a chance to simply live, Terzo wasn't able to do much. He was so restricted. Again for example, have you seen those uniforms?? Terrible :(
Ghouls were monitored heavily, and still only really acknowledged as weapons/servants. They had duties and they had to perform, and if they were unable, they were retired or simply sent back. A cruel thing to many, but no one able to protest.
To even simply want to buy personal items, a form had to be filled out and could STILL be rejected despite it coming out of the ghoul's wallet. They made so little as is, but the rejection was truly a punch in the face sometimes. It was little stuff, too!! A band shirt, or one of those cheap necklaces, toys, anything ranging to even personal shoes! It could be denied. All those days of waiting and saving for nothing.
When Dew wanted to merge his and Aether's room, they had a GIANT packet to fill out. They had to list all of their items, why they wanted to merge rooms, why it would be beneficial, why it should be approved, and signed. The waiting process took longer than anything else, so much so that it was only after Dew's transition that their form got approved.
Very fuckin strict curfews, too!! Every morning and night, a Sibling would come in the den and do a roll call. If a ghoul wasn't in the den and claimed to be at work, it had to be double checked. If the ghoul was labeled as missing, they'd get SERIOUSLY reprimands like weeks of detention, or stuck with the weeds in the garden back to back, or lose a privilege like their cellphone. If it was super bad, then solitude. Stuck in a cell-like room with only a toilet, sink, and a bed.
If a ghoul was caught sneaking out? Immediate confinement for MONTHS until they learned, practically weeping at whoever's feet, that they'd never do it again.
Speaking of cellphones, they were confiscated a lot. Some of them figured out how to jailbreak their system and be able to consume media or go on websites not allowed at the time. A looot of privacy violations happened as pictures and texts would be gone through as well. When Pebble first experienced it, he literally cried in a Cardinal's office as his nudes were gone through.
Masks were strictly enforced if not inside the den, but even still had to be on for roll call or visits from humans. Even on tour, they weren't allowed to show their face to any of the stagehands/techs; glamoured or not.
Era 3 had the highest turnover rate simply because of sickness and torment inflicted by the clergy. Zephyr, Alpha, and Ivy all having their own severe illnesses that forced them to retire but still able to work; so somewhat useful... Delta who was literally mangled in the mind from being the first surviving elemental transition, left as only half of who they were — retired. Omega who's essence just simply burned out and he couldn't continue, try as he might (and he did try!) — Retired. Aether who eventually succumbed to his own fate like Omega in later years; but could still work. Aër who was stuck in solitude for years and years until he passed simply because he no longer wished to be a pawn.
There was a LOT of violence during the first 3 eras, mainly 2&3 from how exhausted and cooped up the ghouls were. Barely given days off, but always could rely on the holiday festivals (unless you were one of the unlucky ones still forced to work.) They needed enrichment and they simply couldn't get that properly until Copia became Papa, just as limited while Cardinal.
Needless to say, the Ghouls weren't always happy go-lucky and prosperous. There was a lot of favoritism and neglect going on, and it took multiple times and working protests for certain things to be done; such as accessibility and better living standards.

Final Fantasy XIV & Guild Wars 2
Normally I don't post stuff like this, however I thought it would be interesting to discuss in what I conder to be differences between both games which makes me enjoy them both so much.
FFXIV:
"Puzzle solving" combat (mechanics you have to come up with solutions for and react to).
Far more readable AoEs and mechanics (GW2 literally just has hollow circle outlines so it gets confusing when dozens of them are on the floor overlapping).
Better glamouring system (glamour prisms easier to obtain, GW2 transmutation charges can end up costing irl money if the free season pass runs out of them).
Better customization (more options even with a limited chargen. Hairstyle changes cost in game currency. ANY character changes cost irl money in GW2).
Photo mode (everyone in every game just wants to easily take screenshots of their char let's be real and GW2 does not have that).
Better raiding scene (easier to get into high end content such as raiding, GW2 it can be like pulling teeth at times to find groups. "You need experience for this job, but in order to do that you need a job to gain experience" sort of deal).
Less alt friendly but at the benefit of ALL CLASSES being playable on ONE character.
Constant updates to the graphics and textures, so the game does not look as old as it is (GW2 launched around the same time and REALLY looks its age, however pre-rendered cutscenes are looking great now).
Your character feels like your character in MSQ (GW2 your character speaks, replies mostly independently of your choices, thus at times it feels like you're playing someone else and not who you have developed yourself).
Better crafting (GW2 makes me wanna rip my eyes out and lots of people in the community agree that it can be costly and convoluted).
GW2:
Dynamic combat (things are happening on the screen all the time and is very fast paced with barely any breathing space which makes for some insane battle moments).
Active community in older content (part from base game dungeons, but Anet basically dropped those so fast themselves).
Better dye system for armors (multiple slots up to 4 on each gear piece, and a total of 642 dyes currently in game).
Account wide glamour and dye unlocks (unlock on one character, usable for all of that armor weight/collected dye).
Account wide item banking and currency wallet.
Satisfying achievement system (Rewards from achievements as well as scaling reward track for gaining purely just achievement points).
Buy once, play forever, no subscription (each expansion being the only purchase for each release, as well as the older Living World "post-patch" content) so more obtainable for general pop. who don't want to sign up for another subscription service.
New characters can hop into ANY expansion or just ignore them completely and dive into whichever content needed without having to clear an MSQ beforehand.
Generally more alt friendly (at the cost of irl money for extra character slots, as there is a max of 5 on paid accounts)
Better Player vs Player scene as well as the edition of World vs World (giant map skirmish with 3 "servers" constantly battling for domination in each season, literally running in huge groups to take over enemy castles or defending your own)
NOTE: Any instance of having to use irl money to get things in GW2, you can also convert your in game gold into their gem currency to purchase items in their store, but the exchange rate can be kinda wack.
Neither pros or cons for either:
GW2 has horizontal gearing & leveling, with 80 forever being the max level, thus gear never becomes outdated, thus making it easier for people to hop into many forms of end game content as it is released.
FFXIV has vertical gearing and leveling, which gives a goal in mind each time the new level cap is set and new gear levels are added in order to run content, so an insentive to keep active and have a goal to work towards.
GW2 has build options for each class, allowing different styles of play without the restriction of traditional roles (Tank, Healer, DPS), however there will typically always be an accepted meta build for each depending on type of content, and can cause issues of unbalanced parties when lacking specific roles.
FFXIV does not have builds, and each class plays in a specific way allowing for less flex in how each are played, but allows for FAR more security when running content, as well as allowing more focus to be placed on interesting fights with fun mechanics in my opinion.
#also please dont come for me for any opinions these are just some observations i made!#i enjoy both games greatly and whilst FFXIV is my main MMO GW2 was my first for 5+ years and I still come back to it :>#ffxiv#ff14#final fantasy 14#final fantasy xiv#guild wars 2#gw2

The Hero of Legend has Multiclassed into EVERY Dnd class. (Games Ref = A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Link's Awakening, (Echoes of Wisdom?))
Artificer - He has fixed the master sword.
Barbarian - Ummmm... Rings.
Bard - Link's Awakening's plot
Claric - We have all seen that boy pray, Devine Smite. Also, he is 100% Hylia's favorite. Also he gets a ring that heals him over time.
Druid - Got it for that wild shape! (Bunny, Beast, Likelike, Subrosian, Octorok, The Hero of Hyrule, a Mermaid and a Moblin!)
Fighter - He has so many weapons holy crap, he uses so much stuff.
Gun Slinger - Seed Shooter. Oracle of Ages. HE HAS A GUN.
Monk - Fist ring and Expert's ring (Lets you punch when nothing is in your hands)
Paladin - We have all seen that boy pray, Devine Smite.
Ranger - Bows and those seeds, the terrane thing do be real, also there's that Owl that keeps appearing throughout his games.
Rouge - Literally has a cape that turns him invisible, he's also a hard to hit guy (Roc's feather/cape)
Sorcerer - His bloodline as a descendent to a Knight of Hyrule is Very important in alttp. Lets him do things others cannot.
Warlock - The events of the Oracle games.
Wizard - We could also say that the Likelike, Subrosian, Octorok, Hyrule and the Moblin are Illution magic.
--- Breaking this down vvv ---
OKAY! SO
--- A Link to the Past ---
What did he start as? I would say he started as a Sorcerer, He can start with his Lantern and do fire damage, if you do it right, you can actually get through the beginning of the game only using Fire! + Lvl 1 = Sorcerer.
But after I think he would have started his Multiclass into Fighter, then he started getting his Items. + Lvl 1 = Fighter.
When he get's to That one Dungeon in Alttp, he has his "Magic Book" (Bible) and he prays, Hylian opens the way for him. + Lvl 1 = Paladin.
Then after he goes into the dark world, he turns into a Rabbit! :D (In the manga, he also gets turned into a "Beast") But I know people would be upset if I said this was the Druid point, (Because forceful transformation) so we gonna hold onto that for now and say because of his "Devine Protection" he gets another point into Paladin! + Lvl 1 = Paladin
He fixes the Master Sword! (Also gets a lot of fun magical trinkets) + Lvl 1 = Artificer
All the Items he picks up, Fire Rod and so on, weapons like the Bow and stuff, lets just grab all the stuff that require them to be usable well. Including those Amulets! + Lvl 1 = Ranger + Lvl 1 = Wizard + Lvl 1 = Rouge
Then Against Ganon, We have that Master Sword as well as Smite! + Lvl 1 = Paladin (Oath of the Crown ("The paladins who swear this oath dedicate themselves to serving society")
--- Oracle of Seasons / Ages ---
He was forced into doing this quest by the Triforce. As in a forceful patron/Forceful pact. + Lvl 1 = Warlock (Warlock Patron's can be good and evil)
Seasons Rod. + Lvl 1 = Wizard
Ages Harp. + Lvl 1 = Wizard (Chronurgy Magic)
Okay, so there are A LOT of Rings! So let's just go and grab our Classes and stuff related for them. Look up a ring list if need be, please there are SO many... (about 100 Rings) + Lvl 1 = Claric (Healing Ring) + Lvl 1 = Monk (There are 2 punching rings) + Lvl 1 = Barbarian (So many rings that help thing, holy crap)
Seed Shooter (It's literally a Gun, THEY GAVE LEGEND A GUN-) + Lvl 1 = Gun Slinger
Mermaid. + Lvl 1 = Druid
--- Link's Awakening ---
Gets got by the Wind Fish's dream. THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THE GAME. + Lvl 3 = Bard (College of Glamour ("The bards of this college are regarded with a mixture of awe and fear. Their performances are the stuff of legend." Basically learned the magic in the Fey Wild, The Wind Fish's dream do be a good place to learn.)
Artificer = Lvl 1 Barbarian = Lvl 1 Bard = Lvl 3 = College of Glamour Cleric = Lvl 1 Druid = Lvl 1 Fighter = Lvl 1 Gun Slinger = Lvl 1 Monk = Lvl 1 Paladin = Lvl 3 = Oath of the Crown Ranger = Lvl 1 Rouge = Lvl 1 Sorcerer = Lvl 1 Warlock = Lvl 1 Wizard = Lvl 3 = Chronurgy Magic
Final Lvl = 20
#legend of zelda#zelda#hero of legend#THIS MAN NEEDS TO CHILLLLLL#legend#Legend has Multiclassed into EVERY Class.#Hey we hit that lvl 20 limit right at the end lol#dnd#Ya know I originally thought he would be a Lore Bard but then I read the Glamour one#Should we touch albw and triforce heroes too?#I'm gonna make an actual sheet#This actually seems really cool to play

Fanta Kama-Cole as told by Deacon Cole:
As summer roles around Fanta graces our June issue in what we call ‘Pop-Glamour’ and her husband has all the tea in this first one-on-one interview!
DEACON COLE: Okay… are you nervous? Cos I’m nervous..
FANTA COLE: Why are you nervous?
DC: I don’t know, I don’t want to mess it up…
FC: You won’t mess it up baby, you got this!
DC: haha, thanks for the confidence. Right, so welcome everyone! Im Deacon Cole and im here with my beautiful wife looking at the stunning view of Del So Valley from our back garden as Fanta removes her make up from the shoot wearing my SG shirt that I’ve been looking for since Christmas…
FC: I stole it and never gave it back.
DC: What’s new.
FC: Did you actually not know I took it?
DC: Shhhh, I’m asking the questions.
FC: Fine baby go ahead, I’m sorry.
DC: First question I know you all are dying to know, What’s one item you can’t leave the house without?
FC: Ermm… I’d say my sunglasses!
DC: that’s true, you always have a pair.
FC: I think because we are so open and literally get noticed everywhere having on sunglasses gives me a sense of privacy, even thought I know we aren’t in private.
DC: We have three daughters..
FC: A handful.
DC: Tell me about it. What is something they take from your wardrobe?
FC: You know what’s crazy? Even though they are all very young they each have such distinct styles…
DC: They have alot of personality don’t they?
FC: Yeah Mary, our oldest, is already picking her own clothes and she basically copies what you wear actually…
DC: Mary steals all my clothes, all the time…
FC: Yh she loves wearing your tops as dresses..
DC: …with Jean shorts and black converse’s.
FC: haha you got it. So Mary would be in your closet before she’s in mine. Crystal is very girly and she wants everything pink, so anything in that pastel light pinky colour she would love to steal and Valerie is probably the closest to my style, she’s got a mix going but loves accessories…
DC: she’s another who steals from closet…
FC: haha, Yh she’s accumulated all your sunglasses and caps.
DC: being in a house full of girls really makes me feel special.
FC: baby, you love it I know…
DC: you have been modelling for almost 10 years now…
FC: omg really?!?
DC: that’s a very long time.
FC: it’s flown by honestly.
DC: what’s your tip for new aspiring models?
FC: consistency and drive. No brand is too small for me. I took every job that was offered to me and saw it as experience, even now I try to also work with smaller less know designers. Your never have enough knowledge so be consistent in learning.
DC: Who’s your fashion role model?
FC: Obviously our mums!
DC: Our mothers are real fashionistas.
FC: it’s crazy! My mum dresses to impress for any occasion doesn’t matter what it is and your mum just looks like she never makes efforts but looks stunning.
DC: They out dressed us at our wedding to be honest.
FC: Yeah, they just know what looks good on them. My love for clothes and dressing up came from mum since a young age. I’d always sneak into her wardrobe wearing all her clothes and she loved watching me being creative with it. She was super supportive.
DC: You have a lot of model friends who are successful designers, what have you learned from them?
FC: that I prefer wearing the clothes then making them… I don’t know, the process of designing is so personal and intricate I don’t think I could do it. It’s like how you are with music, I’d get so attach and separating myself from my designs for someone else to wear, I’d find it difficult.
DC: being a creative is hard.
FC: super.
DC: Your always busy, what do you do to wind down?
FC: I think my ideal chill time would be snuggling with you in bed with a glass of wine watching Love is blind.
DC: don’t expose me.
FC: haha, the faces you make every time something unhinged happens is my happiness. Your always at the end of your seat to know what happens next.
DC: it’s crazy how addicted I am to that show, I can’t get enough!
FC: movie nights with the kids is also a nice chill time.
DC: yeah, making memories are what’s important.
FC: definitely.
DC: What music are you enjoying right now.
FC: Baby Ariel just dropped her first album which was amazing.
DC: she’s killing it. Mary is always blasting her album!
FC: Yes, she great but I also love the newest song from you upcoming album.
DC: which one?
FC: sonder. it’s so good! It might be my favourite song of yours ever baby.
DC: shameless plug, the mv is out and it’s stars my wife so go check it out.
FC: shooting the music video was the best thing I’d done all year!
DC: Thank you babe, Lastly what was your favourite look from today?
FC: I can’t choose… I loved all of them! The black sheer dress was definitely a vibe though, which one did you like?
DC: I like them all too. I think the closest one to your style would be the oversized yellow Jack number you had on.
FC: I’m stealing it for sure.
DC: you looked badass.
FC: thank you baby.
DC: that’s it! Thank you all for joining us.
FC: bye guys.

bard - college of glamour: pretty safe choice. eloquence would have been cool to rebalance outside of just doing bard things really well, whispers would have been really flavorful but maybe leans too hard into social encounters
barbarian - path of giants: biggest surprise for me to see this here given that it only came out last year. they're trying to sell it as a thrower, which is fine, i guess, since there's no grapple mechanic in bg3 (which normally it excels at). time will tell how it measures up to throwzerker though
cleric - death domain: pretty neat, i'm just glad it's not twilight or peace. would have LOVED to see order though...
druid - circle of stars: not a fan, it's such a strong subclass that i feel it would have been more interesting to rebalance either dreams or shepherd instead
paladin - oath of the crown: tasty. i think it fulfills the tank fantasy that the system usually struggles with, so i think it's an excellent choice. personally one of my favorite paladin oaths to rp bc it's SO fallible, but we'll see how it is in bg3. curious that it's not redemption or watchers, though i suppose watchers will oathbreak on too many things that keeping it becomes extremely taxing (being nice to the emperor, not killing omeluum the moment you meet him) and would likely discourage a whole mechanic (this should oathbreak on the consumption of any illithid parasite imo)
fighter - arcane archer: great choice, kinda underwhelming subclass on tabletop so it needed a rebalance anyway
monk - drunken master: literally any monk subclass would have been a good pick bec nearly all of them need some love
ranger - swarmkeeper: good choice, could also have seen fey wanderer or horizon walker make it in
rogue - swashbuckler: being melee-oriented helps this stand apart since i think most of the other rogue subclasses want to stay far. no complaints
sorcerer - shadow magic: it was either this or divine soul tbh, i think they went with this for the potential reactivity in act 2. i could see why they didn't include either of the tasha's subclasses or lunar sorcery (the former means having to deal with whether or not they wanna give everyone expanded spell lists or take it away from the subclass they'd add, to keep everyone in line; the latter has that strange moon phase mechanic)
warlock - hexblade: another surprise, probably really homebrewed since they gave the charisma weapon attacks to pact of the blade. no opinion for now
wizard - bladesinging: gives the wizard a different niche, although i wonder how it's going to play if they don't add in booming blade and green-flame blade. again no opinion
still no artificer: either a wotc mandate or more likely a complete pain to add. imo it would be underwhelming to add artificer without the ability to create magic items, but doing so in a game where—1) the economy is balanced around nearly all wealth being from loot and not player-created; 2) each magical item is supposed to be unique; and importantly 3) you can freely reclass (notably in the case of a cleric who can use divine intervention to create a weapon)—would probably lead to all sorts of edge cases to balance around. unfortunate but i don't think bg3 was built to support the class at all

Potions: Their Uses, Forms, and Misconceptions
Potions. We have all heard of them, from “Double Trouble Boil and Bubble” to the “PolyJuice Potion” and everything in between. Indeed, one of the first things that comes to mind in regards to witchcraft is the image of a crone, stopped over a cauldron, stirring up a potion. While this might not be the image of a modern witch, potions are still considered to be a staple and basic foundation for many forms of magic. In this lesson we will be covering their uses, forms, and misconceptions.
***It is VERY important that for any potion you make that you intend to ingest, that all ingredients are SAFE for consumption or contact with skin. Many crystals, mushrooms, and even herbs can be very DANGEROUS when ingested or touched to the skin. Please always do your research for your own safety***
Uses
Webster’s Dictionary defines a potion as a mixture of liquids and that the first usage of the word appears in the 14th century. While in practice a potion is a liquid, it might also contain herbs, stones, spices, etc. Contrary to popular belief, potions have a wide variety of uses. They can almost be considered spells in a bottle, or a “break glass in case of emergency” type of spell, one where the magic is bottled up and contained, only activating on who, or what, the intended target it.
Most people use potions for various reasons, including glamours, protection spells, safety during travel, and love spells. I mean, lets face it, what better way to feel confident than to literally toss confidence down the hatch. Who hasn’t thought of giving the one they love a brew infused with apples, cinnamon, and intention for the one they love to want them back. While protection potions are not as widely talked about, having a potion of protection in your handbag or backpack will always help to make sure you are safe, no matter where your travels take you.
That being said, the single most common form of a potion is actually used in healing spells. Think about it, all the times you were sick as a child and a family member whipped up their “home made remedy”. Something that was always made in a pot, smelled of death, tasted worse, but brewed by a loving hand, and always making you feel better. This form of magic, simply stirring love into a recipe, is indeed one of the oldest types of magic and potion making. So next time your loved ones don’t feel well, remember that the simplest health potion is one made with a slice of lemon, a bit of honey, and a stirring of love.
┏━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┓
Quick and Easy Wake Up Potion
Heat a cup of water and add your favorite tea to your cup
While you wait for the tea to steep, light an orange candle on your altar or table
Say: “I am healthy and grateful for this day.”
Meditate as you drink your tea
┗━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┛
Forms
Contrary to popular belief, potions come in many forms. Indeed, some of the most powerful forms of potions are not even ones you drink. Did you know the Moon Water is a potion? It is a liquid, cleansed and charged with intent. That 4 Theives Oil you made? Also a potion. From hand creams, to tinctures, teas, and oils, potions have evolved much as humans have. Coming in a wide variety of forms, and even uses, potions in magic have evolved from “double double toil and trouble” variety, to any liquid item imbued with intention and magic.
In their oil form, most people use it to consecrate their altar items, or help open the third eye or chakra work. As tinctures they can be used for healing, cleansing, and charging. I mean, teas, do I even need to say more? There is a tea type or tea leaf for just about anything magical you could ever need, especially when trying to bring something into your life, letting others see a certain aspect of yourself, or increasing something you have. Teas are one of the most powerful potions that exist in the magical world, and also one of the easiest forms of potion magic there is. As for waters, magical water such as Florida Water, Moon Water, Sun Water, etc is even a form of potion making. Remember, potions just take a liquid and an intention.
┏━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┓
Waterfall Ward Protection Potion
For use to protect yourself and your home from unwanted energy
Ingredients: Vinegar, Water, Salt, Protection Herbs and Essential Oils
Actions: Mix it all together and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then take a rag or cloth and let the water drip from the top of your windows and doors. Then wipe down the edges of the windows and the thresholds.
┗━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┛
Misconceptions
Over the years there have been many misconceptions regarding potions, most notably that they must be drunk in order to work. This is not the case, indeed many potions are not safe to be ingested or exposed to your skin. A lot of the potions you will find in older grimoires are made from ingredients that are not safe, and were created long before modern medicine was even a spark or thought. Remember that they used to think that demons in your brain caused headaches? Probably not the people you want telling you what to put in your body.
Another common misconception is that something will “happen” when the potion is ready. I mean as cool as it would be, when a potion is complete at the end of the day it is still made of normal ingredients. There is no sparks, no fireworks, no smoke, no *boom* (and if there is, you have MUCH bigger issues, namely to call the fire department and hope they don’t ask why you were using explosive ingredients over a hot stove). When a potion is ready, much like anything else you do in the kitchen, you should know. Whether that is by instinct, smell and touch, or simply using an egg timer for 20 minutes on simmer. While not as satisfying, it is still magical and remember, that is all that is needed.
Finally, remember to simply DO YOUR RESEARCH! Items used in potions can be very dangerous, and sometimes don’t play well together. Just think about what happens when you mix baking soda and vinegar. Potion making is as much witchcraft as it is chemistry so if you start looking for those random or rare ingredients, just make sure you research them first to prevent any “happy little accidents” (as Bob Ross would say).

25 August 2023
Okay, I'm finally starting to draft my Notion, and one page I'm adding will contain my saving goals. Each month, I plan to put aside anything I have left over toward some items I want to save up for! I'm already committed to saving 5% (may go up to 10%, we'll see) and investing 1.5% monthly (may increase to 3%... maybe), and then I'll save for specific goals (some serious, most fun) after my expenses. For me, almost any single item over $50 is an investment, and any frivolous item over $100 requires serious, long-term consideration before purchase (tbh anything unplanned over $25 feels exorbitantly expensive). I currently have six goals to complete in varying amounts of time:
bass guitar + kit -- I don't have a specific model in mind, but I think I want to learn bass as a treat for myself after passing quals!
american duchess shoes -- I just adore their oxford heels so much, but I think giving myself the time to actively save for them will help me decide whether I actually want them or just like the aesthetic on others
new laptop -- honestly I just want a laptop that's significantly more portable without sacrificing too much power/space (I don't know the slightest thing about computer specs though so I'm going to need a bit of research), and I want to save up enough to get a new one before my current one craps out on me (it's still going strong though!!)
england trip -- I would like to go visit a friend after my first year in grad school, but I'll likely have to dip into savings for this because that's a lot of money to save in a short period
starter emergency fund -- I know that I'm lucky to have familial support, but I want to have a base savings in my account I think to help with anything life has to throw at me. I won't be able to rely on my parents forever. I know you don't go to grad school to save money, and I know I want to live with a bit of comfort and glamour, but I still think this is an important goal to start actively working toward. Since I didn't spend much in college (and got a well-paying internship during lockdown which went directly into savings), I'm not that far off from my goal amount. Until I reach that amount, this one is my priority tbh (and I'll obvi keep adding after reaching this amount).
According to my Notion widget thing, I'd have to have $687 left over each month to reach all of my goals on time using my time and cost estimates (major note: literally $500 of that is going toward the possible england trip bc the turnaround is so quick lol,,,, ~$200 a month toward realistic saving goals aint actually all that bad).
I actually am looking forward to saving for things??? Which is weird and feels very adult. Like yeah having expendable income is nice but I love the idea of having a bit of patience pay off.
I was a little daunted by the idea of starting a Notion for my PhD because there are quite a few expectations I have for it, and I was afraid of not "getting it right" the first time (I recognized that it's unnecessary to create entirely new pages for each semester when I could just add them to a single dashboard to minimize the remaking I have to do each semester (grocery list, recipe book, etc), but this makes me feel like I would be stuck with whatever I crafted the first time even though that's obviously not true). That's a fault of mine that I have to work hard to overcome if I ever want to get anything done. But I watched a video about starting a Notion in ten minutes and the speaker plainly said to just start simple. Then build off of the simplicity in small chunks when you have the time. So that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to keep a lot of the same functions I've used previously that have worked (Academic Timeline, Spaced Rep calendar, grocery list and recipe book), add a savings tracker from a template which I know I want and will use, and worry about all the other little bits at a later date many later dates. Maybe I'll add a half-hour (or single-task) "Notion Tune-Up" to my Admin Friday routine. Play around and fix it up bit by bit brick by boring brick (da-da da da-da da da-da).
I'm going to be relatively close to one of the cities/venues where Welcome to Night Vale is performing on its tour this fall, and I am so so so so tempted to just buy a ticket and go alone. The only thing holding me back is not knowing exactly what my first semester will look like calendar-wise. Like I'd probably (maybe..) skip it if there was an exam the next day, you know? But that opportunity seems almost too good to skip considering the cost (esp since I'm going to have to miss out on The Crane Wives this fall even though they're coming near my hometown for their first tour post-pandemic and that kills me on the inside a little). I'd love to support my favorite scripted podcast if I could. I also just don't know the area at all or how safe it would be to go alone. I mean,,,,, I could just adopt a bit of the delulu and hope for the best. There are only a few more days for me to buy the ticket relatively guilt free and I'm pretty close to just doing it.
Today I'm thankful that my sibling had a good move in day.
I... ugh I really need to get started on my hair. My sister used a hack this last time on her hair where she braided halfway, banded, then came back to it after the roots were all done. I might implement that. There's no way I'll be able to finish all of my hair plus everything else I need to do if I braid every strand straight through. I want to be packed by Sunday night so I can use Monday morning as a last-minute-check period.

Yesterday and possibly the day before’s gameplay progress because I forgot to make a post yesterday and I’m not sure if I made one the day before:
I made it to level 90 as a summoner!!! And also scholar, technically, but it’s not as if I’ve ever actually played as that. Due to having gotten so many pieces of level 90 gear from my retainers going on quick explorations, I’m already at an average item level of 560 as both classes, which is second only to the 565 I have as a dancer (and the 620 as a weaver, technically, but that one isn’t a combat class)! Not bad considering I don’t have access to any level 90 content yet, haha =P
I now only have black mage and reaper left to level out of the main classes I’ve been focusing on (I think they’re both level 88, perhaps even approaching 89), and I can still use the main story to level both of them quite effectively, which is both exciting and somewhat unfortunate in terms of feeling like I’m wasting that story quest experience once I do get to the level cap.
Now that I’ve reached level 90 as a caster class, though, I can finally wear my ornate rinascita jacket of casting that I’ve had for literal months thanks to Wondrous Tails certificates! This inspired me to make a fancier summoner glamour - but I’m still very attached to the demon skirt + caller’s sandals combination that I’ve been wearing as a summoner for so long now, so I ended up spending a long time in glamour hell trying things out to reach a happy medium.
This is what i eventually ended up going with - I like to think it still works as a top half that can be worn with the bottom half! I think I’ll save the rinascita coat for when I reach level 90 as a black mage, since it fits Lorenza’s princess/royalty theme very well, but I am at least still wearing it right now as far as others see in the game, which is neat.
Anyway, where were we?
Regarding the story, I’m currently at the first level 86 quest, and part of me is tempted to try and make a lot of progress over this weekend, so I can get through it in bigger chunks. I think I might be able to do it all in one weekend if my Shadowbringers progression was anything to go by, but it would be very dependent on cutscene length - I’m just quite aware of how the story will start to pick up the pace, and so I don’t want to have to stop playing due to time constraints at a point where it doesn’t feel right to pause the plot, if that makes sense.
I really need to start bringing red mage up through the levels as well, I’ve realised. And maybe machinist, but I don’t really remember how to play as that at this point, even if it is level 70. In theory it might make sense to try and push to level 86 as a red mage and then let the story bring it the rest of the way, but that would mean both a lot of level grinding and also having to delay story progression. If nothing else, at least I can use it for levelling up the Trust avatars, since I haven’t really touched that system yet!
In terms of weekly things.. I’m still working on my Wondrous Tails for this week, and I went to the Doman enclave to hand in donations only to get completely distracted by glamour stuff (as you can see by where I’m standing in that screenshot from before), so.. I need to actually sort that next time I log on, haha.
#a voidsent voice 🜸#gameplay tag#lorenza (fell‑court) 🜸#I fixed the rest of the in-game glamour to go with the rinascita coat more#I think I’m still using my very old level 60 healing glamour as a scholar though haha#even if i never play as it I still want the gear I have to look some semblance of coordinated you know?

Ritual space, how do I enter into it and how do I travel through it?
From the text: Stepping into ritual space by Nimue Brown...
How do we enter ritual space, let go of the cares of daily life and become open to magic, divinity and that which is sacred to us? When I wrote about Glamour in Paganism a few days ago, one person in the comments picked up on the issue that kit and setting are important in how people transition into ritual space. It’s a valid point, and one that stands looking at. How do we enter ritual space?
Nimue Brown, ritualised garden stones, 2015, photographic documentation
Dedicated clothes and objects can help create a sense of specialness, of time out of time. For me the key thing is spirits of place.
Other traditions call the spirits of place: land wights, genius loci, faeries, elementals, and a host of other things. However you understand the idea of that which is spirit and present in the land, is what you need to work with here. Atheist pagans can just take this literally and work with whatever is present – trees, rocks, grass, soil, it’s all good.
For me, the transition into ritual is a transition into awareness of the spirits of place. I do this primarily by taking the time to go in and be with the place. Sitting, strolling, standing as the weather and ground conditions dictate. I look and listen. I feel the air on my skin and I taste it. I think about who and what came here before me, and I open myself to the place.
I listen to the songs of its birds, or if it’s what I’ve got, to the hum of the traffic. I look at the sky, because no matter where you are there is sky. If you insist on doing ritual in a cave or a cellar, there’s still sky outside before you enter that space. Sun or moon, rain or shine, the sky brings nature to the most urban of spaces. It can permeate into our indoor rituals, even.
This kind of transition can be developed by working with a single object, holding it, meditating on it and connecting with it. Improvised altars made from found objects, including human detritus, can be part of the engagement process. Making mandalas, or sculptures out of found items, or just gathering twigs for the fire all help us to be present and part of the place.
In recognising the sacredness of the smallest things, the magic of the living, breathing world, we transition. We step out of the ordinary mindset that sees nature as something to use and place as backdrop, and we step into the world of life and detail, and from there, ritual is a lot easier and flows more readily.

FFXIV Patch 6.51 !!
Good Gods a lot has been happening. I finally have a moment to stop and post something 😅
I've been tending to my own personal island, traversing a new island, braving a crazy new event that Manderville added to the Gold Saucer with these hyperactive beans?
I'll be posting a lot of screenies below, some potentially spoiler-y so... unfold the cut if you're interested.
(I'm more or less posting these for sentimental/archival purposes but) Fall Guys Event!
Very anxiety inducing at first but once I got the hang of it, not so much, and rather fun 😎. Ngl though, I did stop queueing after getting all the glamour and pets I wanted, and reaching one win 👑
I need to hop back in for a couple more things but my router is literally dying and I'm waiting for my ISP to come out to fix the issue first. A lot of people, including myself, are learning from this event that the snapshotting sucks. So, I'd really prefer to have my net fixed before attempting to queue more.
Oh!! Something I wanted to throw out there for people who don't want to run this a whole lot but want to put the Fall Guys furniture to use. If you just buy ONE piece of each thing, you can place multiple of that furniture item on your island. Go crazy and make a "fun space". I've been considering doing it, lol. Just food for thought 😋
Island Sanctuary!
I'm not even remotely done here yet. I've hit Rank 20, got the Felicitous Furball glamour, and the 100k crowrie mount/bike, but there's a 200 Felicitous Voucher mount that is going to take agesssss to acquire. I've seen some people with it already. Likely bought the vouchers off the MB or traded with friends. The going rate for those vouchers on my server is 90k-95k each (atm). Buying all 200 of them would make the mount 19m (currently). I'll be patient and slowly earn them, lol 😋
Aloalo Island!
Okay, I'll just be transparent here. I love the Variant Dungeons 🥰. Maybe Zenos wasn't wrong when he was blabbing on about how I'm an adventurer looking for a challenge, or a test of skill. I feel like Variant Dungeons do that decently enough to keep me in a good place (don't get rusty), but don't push me too much to be annoyed (*cough*fliptables*cough*). I'm not a raider- I'm not OP. But I do like a little push or a challenge here and there.
So, for me, I see these as fun, with rewards that are worth the time and effort.
I cannot say the same for the Criterion version of them however. I haven't done them and I see a lot of people raging over the terrible rewards. If it's that many people, it's worth looking into and from what I have heard, they're right to be upset.
If you need raid gear to do Variant Dungeon and the reward gear is under or on par with the raid gear that's needed to do it- that's a huge no. I don't have all the facts or experience to know first hand how true that is though 🤷🏻♀️
Posting these 👆🏻 because this is my favorite path. I've always loved mimics and had this slight obsession with them since I played Ragnarok Online many years ago (my first MMO ever).
Silly little treasure chests, you're so evil and cute 💝
(Coulda sworn I got a screenie with the parasol but I cannot find it 🙃. Same with the new hair on my female bun... might edit it in later but probably not.)
Edit: (I'm editing one in at least 🙃)

World of Warcraft: Retail (The War Within, Worldsoul Saga)
So, totally unrelated to FFXIV, but also related in a way... my BFF's BF talked her into playing WoW again, and she talked me into playing WoW again, lol (with the help of the cinematic). It's been FOUR years since I've played.
The reason I say it's "related in a way" is because I want to still play FFXIV at the same time and upkeep my FFXIV 'muscle memory'. I started doing the Loporrit Dailies recently - need to continue doing that. I still need to hit Series Level 25 in PvP - so I'll continue doing those daily. I need to continue getting my Island Sanctuary Felicitous Vouchers. And lastly, I began doing the weekly Custom Deliveries for Anden and Margrat. I intend to finish those for the Glamour and Mount. (It boggles my mind how people can say "I'm bored" in FFXIV. There's SO MUCH to do, always. Just admit that you're not bored, you're lazy 😑.)
If the muscle memory thing doesn't make sense, here's an example: It's when you drop/neglect one game for so long (let's call it Game A) to start playing another (Game B), that you completely forget the controls or lose the reflexes you once had for Game A, because you're too consumed living in Game B. I do not want that.
Just thinking about returning to WoW, I feel a bit overwhelmed. All of us used to play Horde for the majority of our gametime (my BFF and her BF, & some of my other friends who've quit). But before I quit, I was trying to make the permanent swap to Alliance (played Alliance for about a year). She's still playing Horde with her BF so I won't be playing with her unless I continue to play Horde. I'll need to find an Alliance server. It'll be cool if I can find a guild that has people who play both WoW & FFXIV. I need to look up which addons I'll need. I fear for all the crap I left in my inventory LOL.
But mainly. When I saw that new cinematic with Thrall and Anduin my heart broke. Anduin has gone through so much trauma in the time I have been away. All I could think about was "Wtf did they do to my King?" And now I feel like I'm crawling my way back and I'm over my head on how to do it. I need to know what happened to him.
(In BfA,) Azeroth turned into a joke and I was isekai'd away Anduin, I'm so sorry 😭. I'll bring some of the light back with me and give it to you, from Eorzea 💖
(FFXIV x WoW collab, when?)

Pre-Fall
Paladin Curt
Oath of Glory: He uses Inspiring Smite and Glorious Defense to help Owen out all the time.
Does not take healing spells. Thinks he’ll never need it. And he has Lay on Hands, but only for emergencies.
Has all the Smites.
Bard/Wizard Owen
College of Eloquence: The sweet-talker. Able to talk his way into places he shouldn’t be and get himself out of trouble. He and Curt have a deal that in any situation where deception is needed, Curt shuts up until Owen gives him the signal that it's all clear.
Curt gets all the Bardic Inspiration he could ever need.
Has a mean Vicious Mockery.
School of Illusion: He’s a spy.
Spells like Charm Person, Command, Suggestion, Gift of Gab
Invisibility, Silence and Knock for sneaking around.
Counterspell master.
Post-Fall
Paladin Curt
Oath of Redemption: Isn’t used to having to choose which party member to help with abilities like Aura of the Guardian. He’s used to it just being him and Owen.
Also isn't used to getting Bardic Inspiration from anyone but Owen.
Has learned to take at least a few healing spells. He still focuses on damage and has let party members fall for the sake of a big hit. But he saves them after. He bought so many diamonds after Owen died.
Warlock Owen
Pact of the Chain: His familiar can take the form of a lion, goat, snake and pseudodragon.
Undead Warlock: He died from the fall and the Chimera (a literal Chimera) resurrected him.
His Form of Dread returns him to the state he died in. Burn scars everywhere, broken bones, shrapnel embedded in him. He loses the DMA illusion, but is different from the Owen Curt knew, he is unrecognizable.
When he reveals himself to Curt, he uses Spirit Projection to burst out of his body.
Invocations: Mask of Many Faces (cast Disguise Self, keeping up the DMA appearance) Voice of the Chain Master (communicate with familiar, used as a little birdie)
Spells: Lots of social ones, with charm or frighten (I did consider Archfey because they do a lot with charm and frighten, but thought Undead would be cooler in story). Teleportation like Dimension Door, so he’s able to escape quickly. Scrying, more little birdies. Illusion or spells that mess with perception, used to manipulate people and hide his true identity.
Rogue Tatiana
Assassin: Sneak attack damage. Has killed people in one hit.
Used Infiltration Expertise to escape the Russians.
Proficient with so many weapons. Favors poisoned daggers but also has a light crossbow for long range.
Fallen aasimar.
Artificer Barb
Artillerist: Makes all the magic items and weapons for the party. She has hit allies with her cannon before. On accident, of course.
All attack. Lots of evocation spells.
Took Magic Initain to get Eldritch Blast.
Satyr. Just vibes, no real reason.
Bard Informant
College of Glamour: Uses Charm abilities and spells to get jobs in new places and lie low.
Changeling: Master of disguise.
Lots of illusion spells. Modify memory if he ever gets caught. Otto’s Irresistible Dance, just because it's fun.
dnd au- dnd au !!!
a few notes:
Curt gets his elven heritage from his dad
Owen makes a deal with chimera (in this au an otherworldly being), becoming a warlock post-fall
Owen’s magic is usually visualised as a blue shade, however after making the deal with Chimera, it becomes a red-tinted orange
