Okay I think I have some new ideas on Pentoshi fashion hmmm

Brocade and patterns are very much in style, it’s a colorful city and wants to show off its beauty in every way. Also since it’s such an important port city, there’s not only a very big mix of fabrics and influences, but I think the silhouettes themselves are kind of a middle ground between eastern and western fashions

Like there’s a lot of similar silhouettes to the west, with wide skirts, a cinched waist, and big sleeves. Maybe as a way to show how rich the Pentoshi are, who can afford foreign fashions. But the material itself, as well as the details and cut of the fabric are still very rooted in Essosi traditions. Overall I think the main idea about clothing in Pentos is that is is much wider and looser and a bit more layered/folded than that in the west idk what do y’all think

Oh and as for hair, there is definitely a show of wealth here. Mostly the rich folks like to use gold, but any precious metal would be common, as well as pretty beads and bangles made on the Summer Isles or farther east. Overall hairstyles would be diverse, but one thing everyone has in common is that they like to accessorize
