#I just wanna write post TotK scenes soo baaaaddd

Ok ok let me tell you how it went for me (spoilers for endgame TotK)

Descending into the depths under Hyrule Castle was soo scary. I kept thinking that I was going to encounter Ganondorf at any turn so I went slow and actually had Link walk a lot of the time instead of run.

The battle with Ganondorf's army was super fun. I loved that the Sages joined Link for that! I love seeing them fight together as a group!

So funny story, I got all the shrines and I maxed out stamina but I decided to only get half of the hearts (1 row) because I didn't want to be too OP and make the game too easy. So I've been playing the second half of the game like that (it has been very fun and challenging), for so long that I forgot that I was actually missing hearts until...

Until the battle with Ganondorf begun. It was then that I realized I had made a terrible, terrible mistake and it was far too late to go get the rest of the hearts, so I did the final battle with only half the hearts.

As you know, Ganondorf doesn't only gloomify your hearts, but if you are hit with his gloom attacks, it destroys you hearts. I struggled a lot with dodging Ganondorf's attacks in the 3rd phase and ended up breaking half my shields, including the Hylian shield. Finally, as a last ditch effort, with only 6 undestroyed hearts left and 3 of them gloomified, I started shooting ancient arrows at Ganondorf and that... did the trick and I beat him (and triggered the dragon phase).

The dragon part was so epic and awesome. It reminded me of when in BotW you have to defeat the malice infecting Naydra, a scene that was so fun and amazing that I named my cat Naydra.

The end scenes aahhhh soo good! I love so so much that at the very end that Zelda, Link, Purah, and all the sages got to go with Mineru up to the Great Sky islands. That made me so happy to see them all together like that. (I hope Mineru, Purah, and Zelda got to hang out a lot and geek out over Zonai tech before Mineru felt the need to move on into the afterlife.)

I just wanna write a fic now where Link and Zelda head back to Lookout Landing all hurt/tired out from the long battle/being a dragon for millennia, and everyone being super excited/happy for their victory and their return and they and the Sages get to hang out and recover and then have a big Hyrule-wide victory celebration.
