Tiny update post, I'm still alive! I hit some hitches and roadblocks this week that definitely delayed my progress, but I'm hoping to jump back in soon. I'm gonna continue to keep ya'll in the loop on what's going on, but just wanted everyone to know I'm not dead! Don't worry!

Closeted trans dudes dressing up at the family function like:

It's such a familiar scene, for family to see you dressing up out of obligation and then being like, 'Oh, NOW you're so beautiful, you should do this more often.' And internally, your body is screaming that it feels so wrong, why did you perform your perceived gender for this event! Or like, for me personally too, the whole missing the vibe of the event and dressing up way more than anyone else, and then feeling so out of place. I've joked before about Red Hood having older brother vibes, maybe she has trans vibes for me too now, lol.

Also, strange that Liliweiss is saying 'for the future' to Red Hood. Who, y'know, is basically terminally ill (corrupted). Red Hood doesn't 'have' a future, she just has the present and past. At this point in this mini-story thing (I'm assuming it takes place around the time of the Red Ash event), is Liliweiss aware of the plans to integrate Red Hood into Rapi, and therefore 'have' a future? Or am I just reading into this way too much? Lol. Just sounded like a really weird and inconsiderate thing to say to her.

That aside, why the fuck did y'all vote the dress over the other two Red Hood skins?! I'm so disappointed, the other two were way cooler and not out of character:

OOC: Hey, sorry for the absolute dead silence. I thought I'd post an update about this blog and before you start panicking, it is not being cancelled or anything like that! In fact, we have plans to work on it starting hopefully this month. Just wanted to share context as to why we're silent as all hell.

"Where the hell have you been locas?" Discord, mostly. I'll truth you in on this one, we were way in over our heads to start something as ambitious as this during one of our worst depressions of all time, so, unfortunately that stagnated some art and progress for this blog. We started work on the first ask and immediately burnt out, which unfortunately was pretty common for us back then.

"Are you better now?" Yes, absolutely. Better enough now to try again.

"What happened to the original post starting the asks?" It's. Gone. We decided to delete it and redo it all again, this time with an easier to read format as well as less strain for us to make each new panel. Also we kind of had an art style change (vaguely) so might as well update the first call post. As well as, we will still make art for the asks we got, no need to send in new ones. I mean. You can't anyways since the box is closed so we don't get overwhelmed.

Sorry for such a long hiatus after starting, things got too stressful for us to manage and we had to step back and get better, even if it took like, almost half a year? Since November of last year, anyways. But we're back in the saddle again and promise to not like, completely ghost y'all on a project you're probably excited for.

((This is an AU Jun, though he's very much still in the Society of Light, as he is for the majority of season two of GX. This is a group AU that like five or so people are part of, however, and what makes this an AU is that Judai was the first member inducted into the Society of Light, not Jun, which very clearly contradicts canon but was a really exciting concept that a bunch of us were into.))

((Judai is very physically weak, and can't really do much on his own. Jun, along with Asuka, Daichi, and Johan (we brought in the season three cast for fun) all help look after him. However, Jun is still out there recruiting people! He's still doing his thing! He just, along with Asuka and Daichi, tries to get Judai to fucking rest and not push himself in Society of Light activities. [Johan is actually only pretending to be a member, he's a spy, but this post isn't about him.]))
