This is a wip for now, but I’m pretty happy about what I have produced in the time I did. The quality of my pictures are kinda garbage but I can’t figure out why. I have been on a fallout kick recently and wanted to draw Nick Valentine, one of my favorites and someone who despite his brain coming from a cop has a decent character build. Which obviously all cops are bastards, even the original Nick Valentine. They uphold the interests of the capital owners with violence against the workers and lower class. And we are starting to see the late stages of it already with cop cities being built so they can better use war tactics on citizens. This is what late stage capitalism has wet dreams about. I don’t know what options we have left some days and the further things progress the more worried I get.

i’m kind of confused about the Dems being expelled from the Tennessee house. is it only the state house or is it the us house of representatives? if they’re expelled from their state house are they expelled from the us house? or were they reps from only the state house? i don’t understand how representation can just be stripped from hundreds of thousands of people with just one vote

They are members of the Tennessee state House, not the US House. They are three Democrats who joined a protest for gun control on the state capitol floor, and the GOP, because this is how low they have fallen, decided to introduce a resolution to expel them for "offending civility." (I wish I was making this up. I am not.)

Tennessee is another state that has been gerrymandered to hell, even though it is already red, so 2 of the 3 Democrats were expelled earlier this afternoon. One was not. Was the one who survived white, you might ask? Yes. Yes she was. And she immediately pointed out that was why she didn't get expelled, while her Black colleagues did.

This is the most nakedly and disgustingly fascist thing the GOP has done, in an increasingly long line of nakedly and disgustingly fascist things, for a while. (Right up there with Idaho making it illegal to minors to travel out of state for an abortion without "parental permission.") I cannot overstate how fucking awful it is. The howling about "civility" is especially egregious because you know, the party who routinely calls for violence against elected officials is all about that. So again, they expelled 2 of 3 state Democrats (the Black ones, not the white one) for siding with gun control protestors after the Nashville shootings. By now, I'm often fairly numb to how goddamn awful they are, but sometimes it still gets me.

I fr have nobody to talk abt what's going on politics wise especially considering the area I live in are all heavy republicans and its not even a joke when I say if he wasn't elected i was not planning on stepping a foot outside. I hope u don't mind me going on a rant but tell me why in class today ppl were talking abt the elections which didn't bother me until I heard this guy say "what Kamala stands for is irrelevant" when I tell u my blood started boiling he was trying to defend himself by saying he does care abt woman but its the fact that she "is promoting people to not have a family and to live unhealthy and un-natural lifestyles" I automatically figured he was hinting abt the fact that she is willing to allow access to abortion which I believe is the only right thing to do as its allowing woman to have more rights and have more control overthlemelves and when I stated that its our bodies and their should be no reason for anyone especially a man to tell us what to do he had the nerves to say "maybe u hoes should stop hoeing around so much" like excuse u i can't even make this shi up I was so disgusted I fr walked out of that class cs their is no way in hell I was abt to sit another hour with someone who says such things anyways I don't wanna bring things like politics to your blog but your blog is a safe space to me and I felt comfortable enough to share I hope u don't mind :)

this absolutely needs to be discussed and I’m happy to know my blog is a safe space for you. politics is unfortunately a really big part of our lives and talking about it is important. while I did not intent to make this blog anything but enhypen, I am willing to shed light and offer a platform to discuss as well because the outcome affects so many of u.ms.

firstly, I want you to know that you are loved and supported, even if it doesn’t tangibly feel like that. I also know there’s a lot of negative language about Red states despite a lot of its residence (whether they can vote or not) not identifying as far right/republican, as well as people around you who celebrate bigotry, so please know that you are heard and that your voice matters to me.

the rate at which men hate women is shocking to me even though this is something I’ve dealt with my whole life. hearing men, our peers especially, directly or indirectly tell us just how much they hate our existence always makes me really angry. Kamala is the perfect choice to become president elect. she is the only person qualified enough to hold this title. I know for a fact the combination of racism and sexism is what cost her the election because America loathes women. it doesn’t matter what else she could’ve done…men hate us.

I’m also sorry that this guy was rude to you after you spoke ): you are absolutely correct and I hope that you do have a support system where you are. it’s really brave of you to voice your opinion when you know people won’t back you up.
