Personal Vent (sorta)

My dad got lazy with hiding his cigarettes again. He’s a total hypocrite, telling me not to smoke or do drugs yet started behind my back and got caught multiple times and yet still thinks I don’t know he still does it.

It’s disgusting.

Especially since he’s the one always telling me “it starts with cigarettes” and knows/ did know people with drug addictions.

But no matter how long it takes, I will always leave a nice message for him after stealing them so I can really get my protest across 😊😚

what i really dont understand is how i have to follow a rule and all rules apply until its to an adult.

like i cant be "sarcastic" (in quotes bc.. apparently im always sarcastic?) but my mom can. and i have to listen fully without doing anything else and if i AM doing aomething else i have to stop paying attention to that something else to listen to the adult and that rule applies until its to my dad. and i have to clean up the house because i cant stayin my room forever but my grandma can do that. and i cant be petty but my dad and mom and aunt and uncle and cousin and literally the resg of my entire adult family can? what? was there a tutorial i skipped or something?

while i do understand the reason behind me having to follow these rules, the hypocrisy is what i hate the most. its vile and i wish my family wasn't "do as i say, not as i do". how tiring it is, to punch against a brick wall and the only dent being on your knuckles.

If you are to cut contact with your “friend” (or at least “don’t talk to me until you get therapy”), don’t turn around and get mad when they explain that y’all aren’t talking to each other. ESPECIALLY not when your parents are the oc friend group. You can say “our relationship is ours alone” but if your parents are close to each other to the point that you can get second hand news from one of the parents, it’s not. I am just saying after having a vent blog about me you message me trying to say you didn’t say anything. How does that make you look? So my thoughts now are how people "react" to this information, and how people's reactions are hypocritical and contrary.

They say: "some people care" and "find help" / or "some people are here to help you" = aka others will help you.

Yet they also say "you need to live for yourself" = aka only you can help yourself.

Contrary. And Fakers / Hypocrites.

That just proves the point that I want to make:

If people are willing to tell you "others will help you in times of need" then why don't they commit to it? Say "you need attention because it's a human need" and commit to it. Or be a hypocrite. It's your choice.

Instead, they call you disgusting for wanting attention & affection, which we've established by now are human needs, which you can die from if you don't have any. Even babies will let themselves die if they have no affection. So it's a biological human need. Yet people call you disgusting for a biological need.

You just proved to me that humans need attention by saying that suici-people need love from others. Yet you also call them attention whores for the exact same thing! Be consistent, or be a hypocrite.

I guess decide then, what kind of person you wanna be. Do you agree that humans are NOT attention whores and actually need affection in order to survive, as you so chose to decide when you talk about suici-people? Or do you think humans wanting affection really are attention whores, which would then also apply to suici-people, because you need to be consistent...

Just be fucking consistent. Either say everyone is a disgusting attention whore, that includes people with mental illnesses.

Or say: no, people need affection & attention in order to survive, it's biological, and there's nothing weird or wrong about wanting attention.
