Me? Posting finished art? Ain't no way :O

No but @korruptbrekker reached out to me and asked if I was interested in doing a collab (go check out their piece here, I implore you), and you know I could not say no to such a wonderful artist asking lil ol me to do something fun like this. We ended up doing a swap @laugaheim and I came up with ages ago that I so sussinctly refer to as a moodboard-sketch-lineart-render swap. Rolls right off the tongue, right? Nah but it's exactly what it says. Make moodboards, swap and sketch from the other's, swap again and line the other's sketch, and then swap once again and finish the piece you sketched.

Very big thanks to Brekker for reaching out! This was so fun, I hope we can do something together again in the future!

And as I'm typing this, I'm realizing that the text on the video said that this is his wedding suit and I have to go sit down again because the thought that just barreled itself into my brain is LOUD.

I spent a few days hyper focusing on this because I wanted to make a reference sheet of sorts for myself. And then I gave him actual clothes that aren't built into him because i think the mechanical built in clothes look... really dumb. (sorry <//3)

I adore him to absolute bits. I seriously don't know how or when it happened but he snuck his way into my comfort characters list and now I'm fighting Idia for title of favorite brother.

#The outfit I gave him is pretty basic because I hadn't planned on giving him a single permanent outfit so I just went for something simple.#Except for the shoes #I found those online and thought they were perfect for him #They're supposed to be shiny/glossy but uhhh idk how to render them right for that whoops lol #this is slightly a 'redesign' as well but also not?? really????#because i just mixed a few of his different models and then simplified him in a way i could somewhat comprehend #i have self indulgent thoughts that go along with this but they aren't important outside of my circle of friends and my own headspace #shit like how he got those shoes specifically and some actual like in universe model design process 'lore'#side note; i finished this back in october so it's not new by any means #I was severely burnt out and struggling through art block at the time but i was able to work on this without much issue #it even pulled me out of it to a degree tbh so thank you ortho <3 #lvmbart #ortho shroud #ignihyde #twst #twisted wonderland

i love that my mum is buried in a park. a beautiful place that isn't just fulla death but lotsa pretty plants and animals too. she's near a duck pond and she'd love that, she liked to feed the ducks. and shortly after her funeral, a wallaby hopped by and that made me love the park even more

#it was months ago. that poll just got me thinking about it #i expected it to be a sad day but i was actually pretty happy #because it was a nice ceremony. full stuff mum woulda liked #pink and purple orchids. a playlist of songs she picked out #nobody was dressed in black (as per both her request and mormon tradition). it was a lovely sunny day #my hair and outfit looked really great. i gave a good eulogy #it was just a nice day. funny how things turn out #but a lot of my tears and woe happened to me on my own #i expected to cry during the eulogy but i was strong. and i'd cried when i wrote it. it being prepared helped #there is a video of it but i havent gotten a lot of it. nor any of the photos of that day #my godfather has all that and i havent met up with him since then. just how things have been. i'll get 'em eventually
