I forgor

I had a dream about MD (not again, this was my first clear MD dream that I can remember.)

This never really had any good plot but I loved the dream though (it was pretty silly too)

So I honestly have no idea what the place we were in was, but it was kinda like a shopping mall like place, but no escalators, just 1 floor of stores with nothing in them because the brain was too lazy to explain what the stores were selling. The detail of the building was that the giant main part of the “mall” had a realllyyyyy high ceiling with this cool swirly chandelier, and the marble was that brownish color, and the brown marble made up the walls, and then white marble made up the floor. (It was a really pretty building tbh)

Okay onto the dream part

In a nutshell: I hung out with Cyn the entire time and we had fun

I honestly have no idea how to explain this dream. I don’t even know how it started. I just encountered Cyn and she was being all nice to me and stuff, so we would climb on a desk, or a counter, I’m the giant “lobby” (the super tall ceiling with brown marble and stuff) and wait for the swirly chandelier to slowly rotate itself in our direction, to where the lowest part of it would reach us and we could climb on it.

Cyn did try to talk to me tho, but for some reason the brain couldn’t form words or sentences with her voice so it was kinda like she was talking and you could understand her, but you couldn’t at the same time.

So this scene of us climbing the chandelier and sliding off of it would repeat many times, until an ex-friend of mine just appeared and started annoying the literal frick out of us? (Dunno, this was a really random dream) and then he ran away giggling and all that stupid stuff; then the only thing that my dream managed to make Cyn say was “cry.” So I replied “Oh don’t cry, wanna climb the chandelier with me?” She agreed and we climbed, and that scene of us climbing and sliding down the chandelier repeated a few times a g a i n.

Bonus out of context scene that was in my dream: Glamrock Freddy was there and he was staring at the floor having an existential crisis the entire time.

But In this dream, Cyn never had or used Solver; she still had the T. rex arms and her walk, posture, etc, but just wasn’t solver infected. This does make me think, is Cyn really a victim of solver? Probably. Because the first scene in episode 5 is that maid drone marked for disassembly, and on their visor, it shows solver taking them over as a host, reassuring them that they can fix them. And the armband that says “marked for disassembly” has the name in the serial number: CYN.

So I do wonder what she was really like before she was marked for disassembly.

This isn’t really a theory, but now this really out of context dream has me thinking about what Cyn’s real personality is like before, or maybe her real personality is revealed once AS is defeated, if she is a true victim of it, or if Cyn isn’t killed in the process of defeating AS.

20th century boys - scrapped reveals and plot twists?

Don't know if anybody cares about speculating something as hard to proof and irrelevant, but I had a few ideas while reading, which even if didnt come true, seemed to be getting hinted at and with how much was made on the spot I wonder if they were originally the plan...

So not really them mentionened besides random yt comments that may or may not be an alt account of me...

Spoilers of course.

Donkey was supposed to be friend?

Remember how Donkey was first introduced? As the weird kid others ostrociced and didnt really want to include, who actually was very smart and talanted all excentricitys aside.

And he was the first "friend" to die, as a classic misdirection - while having an obvious excuse introduced to fake his death "Oh all his siblings look just like him..." (Also the evil twin angel was really emphasised with the fat bully kids at the start, hmmm....)

Donkey was the one that had the skills and near supernatural abilities while being the classic story of a good kid cracking and turning - tieing the dark subversion if shonen magazine tropes.

His whole skepticism of things could tie into too with him cynically learning that "Oh people want to fall for superstitions for illusions, really friendship is fake as well, so why not start a cult, not like its hard for me to make some tricks..."

The symbol being sent by him would be than a cheeky hint, the intentional start of a goose chase, but no geese will ever outrun a donkey...Even all the showing of Donkey in the first half would not just be as motivation for the middle aged friend group, but a setup for this dark twist, while laying the seeds of the themes, maybe even having Dunkey in his twisted logic think he did it for their sake, to make them be the heroes they didnt become.

Oh and also the whole Aldrin Moon Nasa thing seems to work the best for him - with him being the stereotype of a "I fricking love science" kid (who if I dont misremeber is said to have actually wiaited till it happened and didnt fall asleep, but maybe Im misremebering that part) and also his familys lack of money stoping him from enjoying many activities with his "friends" (even having to watch tv with Kenji...)

Oh and for any "well how would he set it up, was the one injured guy lieing about what Donkey said before he threw him of??? Or was that all part of his plan??!"

And yeah its convoluted and kinda breaks the "trying to figure out a mystery without the author just lieing and pulling bullshit" part - but Urasawa does it anyways, with all the reveals obviously not being planned before getting changed again (as he admits)

Oh and also that applys to the "real" reveal (the first one) - we literally saw the friend guy have an emotional breakdown, say he knows who the real friend must be, remove the friends mask and say he isnt that and then fall to his death

So if the Dunkey twist goes against the story, so does the real one. "Ohnono, you just had to assume that he lied and hired actors for his family and then did a double misdirection plunge to the dead and-" Yeah ok Donkey could have done that too.

but for the other theory

Kiriko/the protags sister had a "virgin birth"

So remember when there was that random detail about "Godzilla being a girl and giving a birth without a father"? And how this godzilla thing getting a callback with the mom saying she is one cause her virus killed that many people?

Well isnt it weird that the actually weird part wasnt adressed? Especially when Kanna was mysterious from the start and that at the same time talks of a "Holy Mother" started, as did all the Christian imagery with saviors dieing, resurecting and the pope (with Catholics having the biggest connection with Mary...)

But then it didnt pay of - guess she really had a secret relationship with a random half-friend of her younger brother🤷‍♂️ Not saying that that is more fantastical than all the magic and conspiracys but still a weird detail, especially with the romance and relationship not being explored at all.

It even seems to be anti thetical, with the sister being very mature and selfless, while "friend" is childish and egoistical (well maybe a certain codependent weird thing makes sense now but ehh...)

Still what would make more sense in a dramatic story with supernatural elements - the model sister suddenly just having a kid and abandoning it without ever telling anyone about the father who she only found out was evil after having a consensual relationship which she didnt really have a reason to hide at the start

Or if she DOES have a miracle birth...

Like Kiriko was literally shown to be a perfect sister, doing everything for her brother, being responsible, taking everyones shit, even sacrificing her well being for her brother and others while having a stoic expression.

Maybe she actually did magically get a baby and that scared here enough to abandon it without explaining because who could believe it.

Or maybe something cause it, something she couldnt explain.

Like Friends "magic" or "science"(magic) - hence why Friend calls himself "the father" - he kinda is, in some way, indirectly, idk

Or, as a subtheory...

Kiriko was friend. Think about it, she would be "the father" if her research developed a way to create a child without a fathers DNA (I mean there is a magic anti-proton bomb, and the virus is also not really scientific), the "father" being the part of her that is the alter ego executing the plan, the magic and the tricks.

But more importantly, it would be the perfect obvious misdirection - they were so busy searching for a boy in their class, missing the obvious girl who was just a few years older, who may even in younger photos, if she could have had short hair as that other girl love interet with the dog as a kid had, may have looked as a standard early middle school boy.

And the thematic motivation would be perfect too - she allways just saw everything from the outskirts, she had to be the older and responsible one, not having a chance to ever play like her younger brother did, being resentful of not being able to have a secret base and alll, especially when the other girl could join later.

The scientific angel is there too, as the metaphor of "being in the space capsule while the others got all the fun and glory"

Also it would be a perfect hiding in a plain sight twist thing "Oh my sister disapeared and left a baby, I wonder who this mysterious masked individual is who seems to know me and my friend so much while even knowing the name of my sisters kid... Guess we'll never know🤷‍♂️" (bonus connection - the concert being "not real rock" could be the sis either trolling him on porpuse, or doing it as a intentional thing while also not understanding why it doesnt work, showing that there is this misunderstading between siblings that could get solves in the end)

I had a thought about Niffty, not sure if I am adopting it as headcanon yet or not, but I am thinking maybe perhaps a portion of her deal with Alastor, and why he thought she would be perfect to be at Charlie's hotel, is because she had been feeling remorse for her sins that got her stuck in hell and was willing to sell her soul for redemption or to just not feel as deeply as she was. Being what he is, Alastor could not grant her redemption but did the best he could

Her deal included Alastor altering her memories and mind in a way to ease the distress for her, hence her chaotic and almost naive behavior with what seems to be zero fear of hell and consequences. Perhaps she had already lived a portion of her life or afterlife like that, trauma is an absolute beast and can really really change a person and their perceptions.

Maybe I'm just making the 'lol chaotic demon' too deep or missing something.

I think it's interesting! I personally like the idea that nifty is just chaotic to be chaotic and that's why Alastor is drawn to her and finds her so interesting! I do think that's a fun theory though!

Walker Season 4 theories

I've been tentatively theorizing where things were heading with season 4 since we got the season 3 finale. The reveal of the season 4 trailer only got my thoughts racing again. There is so much to talk about but I'm no tin a place to do a full trailer analysis just yet so, for today, I wanted to do just a quick post going over the biggest questions and theories I have for season 4.

I'm going to go in order of how intense my ideas are, from least to most. So, first up, let's talk about Liam.

We only got a split second of him in the clip but there's still a bit to talk about. First off, his hair has been chopped off and I'm not sure how I feel about the styling. The second thing is that he looks to be wearing his typical lawyer suit. Based on the fact that there's no evidence of them trying to make him look younger for a flashback, whatever Liam is doing is happening in the present day. Which begs the question: why?

I think the simplest, and correct, answer is that this is related to the break-in we saw in 3x18. Stella and Sadie are both in potential trouble because they didn't report the break-in nor that the shot was self-defense. It's possible the culprit could turn this around on them. It's also possible he's representing Sadie alone but I'll talk more about that when I talk about my theories relating to her.

Next, I want to talk about August.

I think we left off with a bit of a cliffhanger for him at the end of season 3. His plotline with feeling ignored and treated like a child within the family definitely wasn't over in 3x18 and I think there's some opportunities to expand on it in season 4, albeit in a limited capacity given the number of episodes and the big Jackal plot going on.

I think we're going to see him focusing more on his goal of joining the military, but I also think there's a good chance he could get himself in trouble trying to help Sadie. He's clearly smitten with her and I think it would make him feel good for her to come to him specifically for help. All that is just speculation, of course, but I think his little talk in the trailer about being there for Stella could lead into him getting involved with Sadie's problems as well.

Next, there's the Cordell/Geri issue. Or issues. Or how much I hope that there aren't issues.

Cordri has been on a bumpy ride since season 1 and while I have come to appreciate their relationship over time, I wish it wouldn't get caught up in nonsense plots so often. I was hoping that the confirmation that they were going to try again in 3x18 would mean smooth sailing for season 4, especially with the limited episodes, but the trailer gives me doubts.

While we do see Geri and Cordell together, we also see her look of what appears to be hesitation or apprehension after he says he loves her. Maybe it's as simple as there being so much going on in the context of that moment that Geri just doesn't think it's the right time. But I fear it may be something deeper.

As I've said previously, this couple is no stranger to drama, and it tends to come from Cordell pretending that everything is fine while Geri is having/seeing problems. Based on that small moment in the trailer and the bts content we received from Oddette of filming in a graveyard and Matt Barr's appearance, makes me think it's going to happen again. I think Geri may be having some feelings of guilt or doubt about her relationship with Cordell, possibly brought up by Sadie coming into their lives. I have no doubt Anna Fricke will find a way to keep them together, I just worry how the fans will handle this hurdle.

Or maybe I'm just over thinking this whole thing. Who knows?

Next, I want to talk about Stella.

One of the big things I picked up on in the season 4 trailer is how the events of 3x18 are going to be haunting Stella. Beyond the very real threat posed by the red writing on her window, she seems to be dealing with a lot of guilt. Guilt for almost killing someone, possibly also guilt for keeping this big secret. This may also turn into guilt over putting her family in danger with her reckless actions. It also looks like she's going to be keeping most of this to herself and it's affecting her enough that August is speaking up about it.

Something else that stood out at me from the trailer was the shot of Stella standing at a grave. From what we know Witt is either still alive or his body was collected by whoever he was working for, so I doubt that's his grave, though I could understand Stella visiting it to go along with her guilt plotline. Another possibility is Emily's grave, but that seems like a very strange placement and style for it. Unless the headstone has been severely delayed and she specifically requested to be buried in this remote area, I just don't see this being Emily's resting place.

The only other possibility that comes to my mind is Trevor. He's someone Stella cared deeply about and given how fragmented his family was by the end, it would stand to reason that they wouldn't be able to afford a proper grave and headstone for him, if they even wanted to put one together. And given how Trevor ended up in jail in the first place, it would make sense for Stella to hear about his death, even if she wasn't directly told about it. I admit it would be a strange way to end that plotline but right now this is the only thing that makes sense, unless it's some character we haven't met before.

This brings us to my final theory: How Sadie fits into everything.

I've had a theory simmering for a while that it wasn't by chance Sadie and Geri met, nor is it a coincidence that Witt broke into the house shortly after she introduced him to Stella. I think there is a strong chance Sadie is working for whoever was behind the break-in.

Not in an antagonistic way, mind you. I think she got into a lot of financial trouble after her mother died, something strongly implied both by her song and the fact that she met Witt while dining and dashing. I think these people saw a young girl in a vulnerable position and "helped" her by taking care of her debt- and now she has to pay them back. Since it's not likely she'll be able to pay them back with money, I wouldn't be surprised if they have her doing favors for them- such as giving them information on the Walkers.

This doesn't necessarily explain the break in. What was Witt looking for in Geri's house? And why was he there so late at night? @theladywyn and I have speculated that this is related to Hoyt, given that she got into contact with Geri first. Maybe Hoyt did something that pissed these people off and they're looking for payback. Our current theory is that Hoyt stole something from them that they want back and that he may have hidden it with Geri. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to sneak onto the ranch next if they couldn't find whatever it was in the house.

All this to say, I think Sadie is going to have a bigger role in season 4. We know from Odette's instagram that she was already on set and since they only just finished up 7 and 8, I think there's a good chance she's around for most of not all of the season. I think she has a bigger story to tell and I can't wait to see it.

But those are just my thoughts.

Taking a Chest of Drawers I Rescued from the trash and making it rainbow!!

Several years ago, I think it was 2014, I was driving around my hometown and I came across a chest of drawers someone had left on the curb for trash day, apparently throwing it out. At the time I was in need of a dresser pretty much exactly like that - my bedroom was small and I was hoping to get a chest of drawers that was taller than it was wide so it wouldn't take up too much room.

Bless this mess, lol

Originally, the dresser was a blonde wood color with blue knobs. It was also pretty beat up - the back of it was scuffed and it was missing a knob. Even still, I jumped at the chance to get the chest of drawers I was looking for FREE, have fun repainting it, and get to upcycle some trash at the same time.

When I first got it, all I did was spray paint it white. I had ideas for things I wanted to do with it, but that was the first step in getting it ready to paint. Then I didn't do anything with it for like 7 years or something, lol. Then this year, since I have been re-doing my room anyway, I realized it was time to finally get this project finished.

I love pastel rainbows, so I decided to go with that for my theme. For the paint, I went to home depot and after looking over all the paint chips, I picked out some colors I wanted and got paint samples for all of the different shades. I used matte for the drawers and semi-gloss for the white part (the spray paint job was not very good to begin with, so repainting the white base was a must). All the paint is samples of the type of paint you would use on a wall. 

After I finished painting, I felt the drawers needed an extra glaze of some kind to give them a bit of sparkle. The matte was a cool idea in theory but I wanted it to pop a bit more. I had a bottle of craft glitter clear glaze lying around so I decided to go with that. The bottle was half empty, so there wasn't much glitter left in it (plus a bunch of it chose to clump into an unusable blob at the bottom because the bottle was like 15 years old lol) but it did the job well enough. I love when I get to use up craft supplies I've had sitting around for a while.

Once the painting was complete, the last step was to figure out the knobs. Aside from the fact that I hated the original spherical knobs anyways because they were hella awkward to grab, the dresser was missing a knob sooo new knobs were an absolute must.

My original plan was to use rose shaped knobs, but the reviews I saw for those kind said the rose knobs were a bit sharp on the edges. I truly hate when things randomly have sharp edges, and last thing I need is getting pricked in the hand every time I need to grab a pair of socks. So those were ruled out.

After spending way way way too long looking at knobs, I decided on these crystal knobs (above) on amazon and decided to get them. I actually originally wanted a fancier, more expensive set, but those got sold out before I got a chance to buy them so I went with the cheaper set above. The photos didn't look quite as pretty as the ones I originally had my eyes on, but I had already spent so much time obsessing over fricking KNOBS I decided to just go with them. I'm actually really happy I went with these. The pictures don't begin to do them justice, they are way prettier in real life.

To protect the surface, I used my sewing machine to create this lavender lace altar cloth / runner type thing for the top. 

Although the drawers are a little sticky sometimes (which they were to begin with, lol) I'm pretty happy with this furniture flip!! The exact kind of dresser I was looking for fell into my lap and I was able to make it cute.

pearl and v are best friends and private investigators in a case, their main suspect is s. s invites p and v to dinner, repeatedly, even after the first one where he pays them off to not investigate him. pearl is bemused by s but loves to take advantage of the free fancy food and pokes fun at him, v meanwhile is so confused in the way that borders on irritated and is constantly throwing up 404 errors and making conspiracy theory boards about it. grian hangs out with s to do crime together (bored) but also they complain to and @ each other a lot.

the main idea of this fic is everyone saying to s "what the frick is wrong with you /affectionate" and also clinging to other people against loneliness idk. i am having fun! but also i threw out my entire old outline and plan to focus on the parts i really want to write so idk where to go from here

I loved Ezra so much too!!! I’m worried about his future though, SW has a history of killing off or ruining their best characters 

I feel this with every fiber of my being. Ezra is really special to me, and literally every other character in Star Wars that is special to me is dead! 

I gotta say, I’m not just worried about them killing Ezra though. I’m worried about him being sidelined despite how powerful and competent he was shown to be in Rebels. He had a huge connection to the WBW and the Loth-Wolves, which are both inherently tied to the Mortis gods. I don’t like the idea of him being left out of that storyline going forward. 

It was also strange to me that he didn’t know anything about Thrawn’s base, or what the witches were up to. Ezra is known for sneaking around and ruining people’s evil plans, so it felt weird that he hadn’t interacted with them much or gone back there at all to sabotage them. Speaking of which, I thought it would be really cool for Ezra and Thrawn to begrudgingly team up and work together during their time away from the galaxy like everyone wanted, but oh well. 😒

I’m hoping they parallel Thrawn’s devotion to the Ascendancy with Ezra’s devotion to Lothal at some point; I just think that would be neat to explore. I like when heroes and villains have complicated relationships and connections. Despite Thrawn’s hatred of Ezra, I think he would admire Ezra’s commitment to protecting his people since that’s his own main goal in life. 

There’s also theories about Maul coming back since he has connections to the Mortis Son, and I hope that’s true because Maul and Ezra have one of my favorite dynamics in all of Star Wars. Like I said, I love when heroes and villains have complicated relationships! Plus I want my dream of Maul being redeemed to happen. That poor guy never had a chance at a real life being raised by Darth Sidious, as Obi Wan pointed out in Clone Wars. I think he genuinely cared about Savage and he genuinely cares about Ezra, even if it manifests in a super toxic and disturbing way as a dark sider. I want him to find true peace and become one with the Force on the light side, but I don’t know if I’m lucky enough to get that! 

We’ll see how it all goes, but I am excited to see Ezra meet the other Mandoverse characters (especially Din and Grogu, their interactions will be so interesting to see)! I do wish that he got a purple lightsaber though. I love the emitter as a nod to Kanan, but the standard blue color doesn’t suit the fact that he’s the incarnate of chaos. The blue one he used to have had a fricking gun attached to it for crying out loud! Or it would be hilarious if he just went through all the colors. Every season of every show he’s on his kyber crystal breaks, so every time we see him, he’s got a new color! (I'm only half kidding, that would actually be super funny 🤣 )

I hope we get to see him thrive in his Disney Princess Era�� and tame all the animals going forward! No matter what, Eman is going to kill it. Ezra's by far the best animation to live action character transition we've had!

here’s my theory: ocean originally started the choir for constance

i will elaborate

i think that constance has always loved performing and the performing arts: acting, singing, dancing. outside the mind-control death scenario and the choir, we don’t really see two of those. however, in the 2016 production, she plays the part of mary in the school’s nativity play (this is when noel breaks into waiting for godot). she tries to steer it back on track while staying in character, and while this could be her “being a good girl” in part, i think it’s also her wanting to stay in the role. this is something she cares about and, while she’s don’t stupid, this matters to her more than school.

additionally, i think the way that sugar cloud is staged like a concert (particularly in the part where the choir sings “i used to think that life was just a jawbreaker” and she has that belty ad-lib) also adds to this idea of a desire to perform. plus her presenting the song the choir performs before each intro number, rather than ocean. sure, ocean presents the choir, but constance introduces the song itself.

so, from this, i believe that constance has an interest in the performing arts. as a result, i like to think that ocean thought “two birds, one stone” in making a club that could make her friend happy and having something to put on college applications (presuming canadian college apps are the same as those from the us). so, she starts up the st cassian’s chamber choir and upop (from later editions of the show).

but, even with the best intentions, ocean starts to overshadow constance. part of it is accidental, it isn’t her fault that most satb arrangements are written to highlight the soprano. she only wanted to be a leader, and constance just wanted to be involved. ocean, mostly unintentionally, starts to belittle constance’s ideas.

i think this might be why they have such a fractured relationship during the show. is it possible that a lot of little things created tension between them in the “you punched me in the fricking boob” scene? definitely. however, i think it’s possible that they had a fight on the day of the fall fair. ocean paraded around the victory she lead them to, kept talking about how she was the queen of the choir. and while constance didn’t confront her, she was a lot more… distant. maybe even a little snide. ocean could hear that something was a little off with her, but she couldn’t place what, and she definitely didn’t think it wasn’t her fault. constance still sat next to her on the cyclone, ocean doing another thing for constance.

and then they died. both blaming the other for their misfortune. not knowing what was really going on in the other’s brain. but this story has a happy ending, or maybe it’s bittersweet. you’ve seen the show, you know how it goes. there is no other way this story could end.

Yes, I’ve played and finished some of rainworld (survivor and artificer’s campaign. Still working on spear master rn) and I fricking love scavengers sm-

(he doesn’t have a name yet so I’ll just call him dude, lol-)

so I made this dood. He’s your usual, “not like the rest oc”, my I love himmm. He carries around pearls and a blowgun, plus some motherspider venom sacks. He uses em as blowdarts to paralyze his enemies. He could never actually kill, though. The times he was in peril, someone else probably saved him. Somehow, he has met the echo in chimney canopy, and now lives there for the time being. He searches the land for information and pearls.

lil guy got a highest level karma symbol burnt into his leg bcs he’s almost always at that level. (I also think it’s because that’s the same symbol saint has over its head when it’s levitating, right? There’s a reason behind that, too)

This guy is pretty paranoid, and realllly doesn’t like slug cats. He was really close friends with one before, but on one cycle, it attempted to kill him. He has no idea why, but they disappeared after that.

so the BIG lore part of this is why he looks for pearls. Dude was fascinated by iterators his entire life, and decided to pursue his dreams of helping them. Eventually, he discovered that they were searching for a way to ascend. He dedicated his entire life to his practice, sacrificing his social life and mental health aswell. A slugcat eventually came across him, and was fascinated by his studies. Dude was skeptical at first, but eventually, they became incredibly close friends. The slugcat asked for pearls in exchange for a translation of what the pearls said. The two were friends for countless cycles, and they looked out for each other for a very long time. They also exchanged theories of what might have to be done to solve the big problem.

But eventually, they ran out of pearls to read, and the echoes were incredibly hard to find. After this, the slugcat grew distant from dude. Dude tried speaking to them, but they just pushed him away. And on one, unlucky cycle, the slugcat lashed out on him. Although dude wasn’t the most favored of the scavengers, a group of them stopped the fight and chased off the slugcat. Dude early died, but he recovered.

Now quite weary of slugcats, he avoids speaking to anybody, and keeps to himself. He lives in a small troop of 5 scavengers.

Since it looks like we see the rescue this season (!!!) I think my leading fave fan theory is that some of the Yellowjackets get left behind. Although I kind of love the wacko idea that Jackie is alive via time travel or something equally silly, but only because I’m still holding out hope for Sarah Michelle Gellar as her adult counterpart. Because, come on! We deserve it!

Gah, okay, my fave spooky survivor. I have to go with Misty! Love a resident Weird Girl. And she’s just so clever and diabolical!

Lottie might be my close second tho. No one else is on her level of beautiful spookiness.

Mario the Idea versus Mario the Man

21/03/23 Midterm 1

Everyone knows Mario is cool as frick. But, who knows what he's thinking? Who knows why he stomps turtles, why he steals innocent life stock and children from the Mushroom Kingdom and breaks in entering their place of living without consent. All whilst ruining the simple life of a divorcee dad and his many children and army. Perhaps, the years of fame and admiration from the people for his illegal actions has gone too much to his head. Who knows, perhaps he simply lives in a constant state of denialism and ignorance believing he's the hero of his land.

However, this begs the question. If Mario is hated by the people of Mushroom Kingdom and even by Princess Peach (as seen in the 2018 masterpiece Super Mario Odyssey). Then why do we, the audience, still love and admire him so?

Even in comparison to the egotistical Sonic the Hedgehog, and potentially mentally disturbed Crash Bandicoot. We still think of the sadistic Mario as a martyr to the people of his world.

It was Kant who once said "Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play." This applies to best in reference as to how Mario doesn't put much focus into the feelings of those around and instead focuses his lust on the princess and her Peach.

However, Mario does express his experience in how he crushes Goombas all day, as well as theory in the line "Let's a Go!"

When Mario does leave Luigi to baby sit Bowser Kooper Jr at home. He's fully aware that he's above the natural laws of time and space in how he can easily revive no matter how many times he gets his dump handed back by Bowser.

Despite this, he's still as gleefully apathetic to the issue. Brushing off any potential of making those around him worry with his cheery persona. This persona is only helped with the addition of the children of the Mushroom Kingdom, the 1-ups. To which his death merely becomes a set back with the help of a mushroom.

At the cost of a few coins his very soul becomes a tax to his objective. One that he can easily pay off. Much as any High class people regard the law.

In conclusion, Mario is a depressed, apathetic to his very existence, capitalist that we idolise and worship due to his status and place on not only the Mushroom Kingdom pedestal. But, the entire Nintendo system.

Thoughts During TOH 3x01 Thank to Them

Alright, here we go. Let’s do this. Final season of the Owl House.

Man, the first six minutes are so bittersweet. All the adventures we would have had. But honestly, Dana and crew made the most of that intro holy cow.

It’s really cute that they were all trying to learn Spanish. Amity referencing the top student star. Ha.

Finding that little box was a little quick but I’m not gonna hold that against them.

Luz, baby, you really are too hard on yourself.

Luz being like “mom” and Camila not understanding that Luz is trying to warn her about something in the road actually reminds me of something that happened with me and my mom. We were trying to decide what to cook for dinner for a party. I saw a deer in the road and didn’t want to freak Mom out so I very calmly was like “Deer.” Mom didn’t get it and replied “I don’t think that would be a good idea for this.” And so more emphatically I said “No, Mom, deer,” and she finally saw it and hit the brakes.

….Anyway, back to the show.

Hunter has gotten really good at sewing. And wolves are cool.

Finding a character your relate to in an effort to try and sort your own stuff out? Say it isn’t so.

Camila is such a good mom, y’all. I’m crying. She loves Luz so much. Every scene with them hits so hard, why are they so good?! Frick me.
