unrelated, but interesting, the connections between names across the verses. All of the Raes (to my memory) have some sort of Rae/Ray sound to them, and/or spelled in them (This could get proven wrong later, but Rae, Raylan, Graeme, the 3 all have some kind of that in there.) While the connections between the sherberts basically consists of their names. have an r?? It's like the only connection, but it's interesting. (Reo, Ripley, Rina, Krithos, Icarus, Sherbert. All of them have an 'R' and that's about where the connection ends.)

Has anyone ever noticed how every writer character in Bungo Stray Dogs doesn’t have a face?

At least in the anime they have no facial features - in Odasaku’s memory, the writer of the mystery novel and even the person who wrote on the page have little/no identity.

The only one who has confirmed to write a book is Poe, and that’s part of his ability.

Am I grasping at straws? Probably. Is it possible this has no connection? Most likely. Will I overthink this to the point of insanity? Definitely!

As much as I enjoy reading fics where Mori tortures Chuuya or Dazai for punishment or just for his own amusement or whatever, I dont think he would ever actually do that.

Mori killed the previous boss of the Port Mafia because he was out of control, had let power get to his head, and was killing unnecessarily. Mori is way too rational and logical to do something like break his most useful subordinates just for his amusement.

He might be a mafia boss and a pedo but even when he tried to create an immortal army or whatever with Yosano, traumatising her in the process, it was, in his mind at least, for the good of the city, and to protect people, not because he enjoyed it. I mean yeah he might have enjoyed it too but that wasnt the reason for doing it.

Im not wanting to defend him or anything, he is still a despicable person, but i just think theres more to him than a power hungry sadist like a lot of fics portray him as.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

A gentle reminder to ourselves and perhaps some others in the community that struggle with this - fusions don't have to be "better" than the parts that they're made up of. They don't have to be notably different, they don't have to be some super-alter who handles everything everywhere all of the time - they're just another part of your system.

They might take on more than most if they're still handling the roles of anyone who was involved in that fusion, or they might move into a different role entirely! maybe both, or maybe neither!

It's okay for fusions to Not be exceptional superheroes, and letting go of that expectation is gonna be good for everyone involved.
