I finally nailed the FamiMa onsen tamago.
Used to get them for like 円68 but I couldn’t get the sauce right and I’ve been craving it for like two years now.
Boil 1L water, covered. Remove from heat
Add 200cc cold water and gently add 4 eggs
Cover and rest 17 min, remove eggs and rest 5min
MEANWHILE
Simmer 3 parts dashi (hondashi granules and hot water, nothing fancy!) + 1 part light shoyu (as in color, not low-sodium) + 1 part mirin
Remove from heat, stir in a handful of katsuoboshi and a splash of rice vinegar
When the flakes sink, strain that shit and maybe add water if you added too much hondashi

“___, you won’t believe what this cursed- Shit you are sleep,” Yuuji said putting up his hands feeling guilty. He switched to whispering. “Sorry, Babe.” He placed his hand on your head gracefully stroking your hair.
“She looks delicious to eat,” Sukuna said mouth appear on Yuuji’s palm licking the hair under his hand.
Yuuji slaps his hand to his face. “I thought I told you to never do that to her.” He growled.
“Too bad though she smells like you.”
“Just ignoring me fine. What do you mean she smells like me? She always smells fresh like a clean spring day, refreshing.” Yuuji smiled.
“Maybe because she is wearing that gross yellow sweatshirt of yours and smells like your old spice. I have to live with it every day for the rest of my life.”
Yuuji stopped listening to the demon living inside of him and looked at his beloved girlfriend wearing his yellow sweatshirt, that desperately needed to be washed.
He smirked. He got up from crouching and took off his uniform. Slipping into bed behind you wrapping his arms lightly.
You wiggled up against him. He groaned when you did that but he suppressed that thought letting his chin rest on your head.
“No talking for the rest of the night you. She needs her beauty rest.”
“You can say that again.”
As much as Yuuji wanted to fight Sukuna for even muttering another word, he didn’t want to go wake his sleeping angel.
There were only four things that woke up Yuuji. 1) the bright sunlight pouring into his room when he forgot to roll his shades down. 2) Nobara when they need to go on a mission. 3) a wet dream. 4) the smell of food being prepared.
This morning it was the smell of breakfast. He could smell the eggs and sausage being cooked on the small hot plate. He sat upon his bed, fixing his pillows. He found himself staring at you in all your glory still wearing his sweatshirt. He let his eyes stop at your ass and his head fall to the side as he leered your round cheeks peeking out of the grey sweat-shorts.
“Morning Yuuji.” You said without turning around.
“Morn’ baby.” He said in a gravelly morning voice.
You turned your head slightly to say, “breakfast will be ready in minutes.”
“Thank you, baby.” He chuckled as he putting arms behind his head. “Do we have any syrup?”
“Yuuji you think I don’t already have it out for you?” You said to point your spatula towards his bed tray with a bottle of syrup already on it and a small glass of apple juice.
Now you were putting the food on his plate. Turning around with the tray in hand which was set up beautifully, his silverware wrapped in a napkin, his apple juice had a straw in it, a bottle of maple syrup to drown his eggs and sausages in, and a small vase with some wildflowers that grew on the jujutsu tech property.
You did this every time he came back from a long mission.
It was your way of telling him you love him, happy that he was safe and thankful for him.
“Thank you, angel.” He said picking up your hand and kissing it.
“How was the mission?” You asked.
“It was fine. The cursed spirit was weird looking. It was yellow, this was the first yellow cursed spirit I have seen. It looked like a Picasso painting."
You nodded understanding his description. You have only seen them briefly in high intense situations but you don't see them as frequently as your friends.
"It is not like I look forward to them. We are just doing a job and trying to find the fingers as well.”
He started to shove more food into his mouth syrup dripped down onto his chest. “You want to clean this up?” He asked in a flirty tone.
You only rolled your eyes picking up the napkin wiping his chest.
“Worth a shot right?”
“You know I love when you are overly flirty.”
He laughed. “I love it when you wear my clothes.”
“Oh, you noticed?”
"Of course I noticed, I notice everything about you." He said playing with your fingers resting on his leg.
“You even smell like the rat. That god awful old spice body wash and body deodorant.” Sukuna chided into the conversation.
“Stay out of this Sukuna.” You said picking up a sausage sticking it in the demon’s mouth. The demon willing took the sausage and chewed on it.
“You looked so cute last night,” Yuuji said. “I wanted to wake you up and tell you how pretty you look.”
He put his hand on your cheek as you rested against it. “I just can’t see myself ever living without you.” You said.
“Hey don’t think that way. I’m always going to be here. I need you to know that.”
“Yuuji…”
“___ baby, if I weren’t a jujutsu student we would’ve never met.”
That was true. You were Mei Mei’s niece. No clue how it was possible but your parents were both sorcerers and passed away at young age doing their job. Mei Mei became your parent. She never stayed in one place because of her job. You never developed curse energy. Mei Mei was thankful for that. Jujutsu Tech offered you, board. In return, you helped around the grounds.
You remembered the day you met Yuuji.
He and Fushiguro were hanging out by the open concrete archways. He had been sipping an apple juice pouch overly petting Fushiguro’s demon dog. You had been tending to the garden when the carton of apple juice had landed into the bush. You picked up the pouch and stomped over into their direction.
“New blood?” You asked Fushiguro.
“____ this is Yuuji Itadori. Sukuna’s vessel.”
“Yeah, idiot Satoru mentioned it in passing. He never gives the full explanation.” You said grunting.
Itadori was sitting there starring at you during a brief conversation with Fushiguro, finally speaking up when there was a small silence. “That is the most I have ever heard him talk.”
You laughed a little bit. You smiled turning towards him, “Itadori is it?” He nodded. “Keep your trash in the trash bin or live to regret it.” You walked away.
“Who is she?” He asked Fushiguro.
“Thats ____, ___. She is a sorcerer's niece. Her parents were sorcerers. She was raised here for the most part. I’ve known her for a long time. She doesn’t have cursed energy she is normal. But Gojo did teach her how to fight. Be afraid.”
It wasn’t long after that he “passed away” but you were cleaning some of the rooms and you heard a movie playing and walked in and saw Itadori sitting there sipping on his 4 can of soda holding a stuffed bear by its head.
“Itadori? How? I thought—you should be dead.”
“Trust me I don’t understand it either. But no one can know. A small number of people know.”
“So I can’t tell anyone?”
“Exactly.” He said with a thumbs up. And then the stuffed bear knocked him in the face.
You laughed so hard that your insides started to hurt.
Itadori pulled the stuffed bear off of him and got it to calm it down to sleep. He started staring at you again. He started laughing too.
“You want to watch movies with me?” He asked.
“Sure.” You said sitting down and eating some of the chips and drink what was left of Itadori’s soda. “Sorry about that. I haven’t really eaten anything today.”
‘Inadvertent kiss.’ He thought for a minute looking at you in the eyes making an awkward silence in the air. “Uh..yeah it’s fine. What do you want to watch?” He gestured to a stack of DVDs.
You scanned the titles. “Let’s watch Scream.” You said holding up the case.
“Really a horror movie?”
“You fight curse spirits every other day. This is nothing.”
“I just don’t want you getting scared.”
“Pfft.” You said.
You hated to admit it but Itadori was right you did get scared. Only when it was gross. You shoved your face into a pillow.
“You can come over here if you want.” He said looking away from the tv and your direction in general. You moved over closer to him. Over time while watching the movie he put his arm across the back of the couch slightly touching your shoulders.
When the credits started rolling you said. “Itadori if you wanted to ask me out or kiss me you could have.”
“What?”
“Never mind then.” You sighed.
“No no no…I do want to ask you out just didn’t think you would say yes.”
“You don’t think highly of yourself?”
“…I don’t usually have any luck with the ladies.” He said rubbing his head.
“Consider this lady impressed by you.” You giggled.
Itadori leaned down and kissed your cheek.
“You missed.”
“What do you mean I missed?”
You turned your head to him and straddled his lap. “I mean you missed.” You kissed him on the lips.
He was a little stunned by your boldness. He wasn’t sure what to do at first. But soon he melted into the kiss soon putting his hands on your waist.
You pulled away.
“So are you my girlfriend?”
You rolled your eyes. “Of course dumbo.”
Now you were here laying in his bed holding onto him to dear life. Tears were rolling down your cheeks and you were sniffling.
“Angel it will be ok. I can handle myself. You have seen me fight.”
“Yuuji I know that. It’s just the ending…”
“That’s a long time away.”
“Yuuji it’s going to happen. I don’t know what I will do if it happens. Yuuji if you fully turn into Sukuna I might try and save you from our friends.”
“___…”
“Yuuji it’s you. If there was a chance I could save you….” You couldn’t even finish the thought your face started to crumble.
He picked up your face. “___ I understand if it were you I would fight off everyone any way I can.” He pressed a kiss to your forehead. “I promise everything will be ok. We will be ok.”
You nodded your head in his hands.
“Come on little lady let’s watch a movie together.” He pulled you closer to him.
“Scream?” You asked.
“Oh yeah definitely Scream.” He chuckled. Putting the movie on. “I love you ___.”
“I love you Yuuji.” You pecked his lips. He squeezed you in returned.

1) What’re your plans for the weekend? I’m in the middle of it, but I didn’t plan much. All I had booked was a dental x-ray appointment Saturday morning; but my dentist wasn’t too busy so he also got to treat the issue right then and there. Apart from that, I didn’t want to do anything else this weekend because it’s been raining hard anyway and it’s the perfect weather to stay in.
2) Could you ever be vegetarian - why or why not? No. I like the taste of meat too much to give it up, but more importantly there aren’t a lot of vegetarian/vegan-friendly resorces where I live, so it’ll be largely inaccessible and expensive if you need or want to have such a lifestyle.
3) Name a quote from your favourite TV show: I don’t memorize the entire quote but I will forever love the whole spiel of Walter White to Skyler where he says he’s the guy that knocks.
4) What time did you wake up this morning? I initially woke up at 7 AM but at the time I felt like shit since I turned in for bed only three hours earlier. The next time I woke up was an hour later when we had to start preparing for Sunday mass.
5) What chores do you do around the house? Wash dishes, do the mopping and sweeping, feed the dogs and clean up anything and everything that involves them, whether it’s their food bowls or play pen trays, or the dogs themselves.
6) Do you like windchimes, or do they annoy you? I don’t find them a necessity but they’re definitely calming to hear.
7) How much sleep do you usually get a night? Around 5-6. I’m back to sleeping at around 2 AM even on weekdays, but my body seems to be fine with it even if I do have work everyday.
8) If you could have any outfit, cost not an issue, what would you get? I’d get lots of cute dresses but also stock up on oversized fit shirts. My style is definitely all over the place these days hahaha.
9) Do you play any instruments? Nah.
10) What song would you say describes your life right now? Idk if there is anything. I never listen to songs because I find them relatable.
11) Do you have snacks lying around your room? Nah. There was a half-eaten bag of salted egg chips just last week but I already was able to finish it.
12) Did you get up to much today? If it’s morning, what are your plans? Hmm, I wouldn’t say so. I was on leave today which was mainly for watching Hobi’s Lollapalooza set with friends, then I went to a coffee shop...to watch the same set all over again 😂 To be fair the Weverse stream kept crashing so there were lots of bits that we missed, so. But apart from that and Jihope’s live, I made it a point to not be productive. I did have to squeeze in work occasionally because it just couldn’t be avoided, but overall it was a day for rest and recharging. 13) What’s your favourite animal to see in the zoo? I don’t really like going to zoos and it makes me feel bad inside when I do get to visit one. But if we’re talking safaris or like ecoparks where the animals are more in their natural habitat and are better taken care of, it always excites me to see animals I’ll usually only ever see in books, like the Philippine eagle or tarsier.
14) When do you start back to school or college? Are you excited or dreading it? I don’t have plans on pursuing postgrad studies.
15) What other social networking sites are you on? Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. 16) What was the best year of your life? I wanna say 2014 and 2021 were loads of fun in their own ways. And would you look at that, a 7-year gap :) 17) What plans do you have for the rest of summer? Disregarding summer because we don’t have that ‘season,’ I don’t really make lots of big plans. I’ve been really focused on work and that’s all I want to do for now.
18) How old is the person you like right now? I don’t like anybody.
19) Do you get an allowance? How much? I’m 24 and have my own job hahaha, I haven’t gotten an allowance since I was in college and was able to physically attend classes, pre-pandemic.
20) What games console is your favourite? What about favourite game? I don’t play consoles anymore. These days my favorite game is just a mobile one lol it’s called In the Seom.
21) If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be and why? I recently read a fanfic where the author was able to describe in incredible detail what it’s like to be in a cabin in a really really remote location in New Zealand. I haven’t stopped thinking about the mental images that came from that and even ended up dreaming about it last night.
22) Do your parents nag you a lot? What about? Not so much these days since I’ve been able to tidy up as I’ve gotten older. The only things they nag me about are marriage and grandchildren...and I never really know how to respond to them when it comes up. I ultimately want both of these things for me too, but how am I supposed to tell them they nearly lost me from a breakup that went wrong in every possible way it could go wrong? There’s been lots of trauma from it that I don’t think I’ll ever be up to being in another relationship. 
Anyway, I just shut them down for now by saying that I’m focused on my career, which is true anyway. That’s usually good enough for them to back off til the next time they come back to nag me.
23) What is there on the walls of your room? Some Audrey Hepburn prints and a couple of BTS posters.
24) Is there anyone that just really annoys you? Slow drivers. 25) What are your plans for tomorrow, anything good? Just work. 26) If you could wake up tomorrow being able to do one thing perfectly, what would it be? Cook.
27) You have two wishes to make to help the world, and one can’t be “another wish” or anything similar. What wishes do you make? Continued from last night. Provide clean water for everyone, whether it’s for drinking or otherwise; and making public transportation not just free, but also modern and sustainable. 28) Do you reckon world peace is possible, or are we just too selfish? I don’t think it is. 29) Do you listen to Bright Eyes? Nope.
30) Are you interested in politics or do you just not care? I care way too much.

Mob Rafe: The Series
Part 1
I still couldn’t think of a title after a month so it’s just going to stay as Mob Rafe: The Series

It was almost 10:30 when you stood in your kitchen, staring into your fridge that was practically empty, trying to figure out what you could make for breakfast. You finally decided on eggs after googling how to tell if they were still good or not and decided that they were fine. After all, JJ had eaten moldy bread before. What’s the difference between that and eating eggs a couple of days past their best by date.
As the eggs cooked in the pan, you grabbed the Aleve and a glass, filling it with water, before walking into the spare bedroom and setting them on the nightstand. You smiled as you watched JJ hug a pillow to his chest, looking rather serene. 
In about half an hour, he’d be complaining though and you’d have to listen to it until he left.
You went back to the eggs, stirring them around as you glanced out your kitchen window. You leaned closer and squinted, trying to make out the faces of the people who were going in and out of the place next door. 
That house had been up for sale since a week after you moved in, the old lady that lived there deciding that it was time to go into a home.
Well, her family decided. She screamed every curse word underneath the sun as her things, and herself, were being moved out.
That was almost a year ago. You tried convincing JJ to buy it but he said ‘I’m not living near a bunch of people who think my business is their business’. You tried to figure out who exactly was moving in but it was hard to tell considering it could’ve been any of the three guys who were exiting and entering the house.
You sighed before turning your attention back to the eggs that were close to done, hearing JJ groan from the guest room. 
“Who the fuck made the sun so bright?” You heard him say, voice muffled.
“Depends on the religion of the person you’re asking!” You hollered back.
“Well, I’m not religious so make it non-religious.” You heard a thump come from the room and you assumed that it was his feet hitting the floor.
“Then the Big Bang.” 
“Like the show?” 
You closed your eyes and pinched the bridge of your nose, taking a deep breath. “You know what? Sure. Like the show.”
JJ emerged, rubbing his face with one of his hands, the glass of water in his other.
“Oh, fucking hell. My head is pounding.” He mumbled, sitting down at the little kitchen table you had.
“I wonder why.” You asked, sarcasm lacing your voice as you plated the eggs. 
You brought the eggs over to JJ and set them down with a fork. JJ shot you a smile as you sat down across from him before he began to eat. “Where’s your food?” He questioned, eyeing the empty place in front of you.
You shrugged. “Not that hungry.”
JJ rolled his eyes. 
“I’m just not hungry in the mornings’ JayBird. You know this.”
“You should eat in the mornings. Even if it’s just a toaster strudel or a pop tart.” 
Now it was your turn to roll your eyes as you stood up and walked over to your almost empty pantry, rummaging around for anything. You managed to find a pop tart hiding away and you opened it, taking a bite from the pastry. “Happy?”
“When’s the last time you went grocery shopping?” 
You shrugged. “I’m planning on doing a little run today.” 
“You didn’t answer my question Y/N.”
You walked over to him and placed both your hands on either side of his face. “Don’t worry about me JJ. I’m not starving. Mom dropped off leftovers and I finished them an hour before you showed up last night. She’s been giving me so many leftovers, I just haven’t had the need to go grocery shopping in a bit. Besides, I finished off the potato salad she gave me two days ago at like 5 a.m. this morning when I went to go pee. So I technically had breakfast.”
“What was last night’s leftovers?”
“Tuna casserole. The week before that was a chicken pot pie. And the week before that was stir fry. And the week before that was-”
“Okay, I get it.” He cut you off.
You smirked as you sat back down in your spot. You were pretty sure that your mom was dropping off food just so she could get some time with you. Between work and classes, you didn’t really have time to go over and visit as much as you should. If you weren’t doing either of those things, you were either catching up on sleep or doing as much of your homework as possible. You were lucky you had a fenced in yard so Blue could run around for a while for those days you didn’t have the energy to take him out for a walk.
This also meant you definitely didn’t have the energy to drive yourself to the store and figure out what you needed for food and then drive back home. 
So, you were living on your mom’s leftovers that she brought over since she seemed to forget that there was one less person in the house so she didn’t have to make as much food.
“You want me to come with you?” JJ asked, scooping more eggs into his mouth.
“You really don’t need to. I think I can do a simple grocery run myself.” You smiled.
“Don”t say I didn’t offer when you’re making more than one trip.” 
You took another bite of your pop tart as you looked down at the floor where Blue and Piper laid, looking at you and JJ for any scraps. JJ was the one to break, giving the two dogs his last bits of breakfast before he leaned back, interlocking his fingers together as he placed them behind his head.
“What do you think the others did last night?” He asked.
You just shrugged, giving him the other pop tart which he reluctantly took after you wouldn’t bring it back to the foil after he shook his head no. JJ felt bad for taking it after just having eggs but if you were so persistent on him having it, he might as well just take the damn thing.
He took a bite and looked out the kitchen window and, through a mouthful of pop-tart, asked, “Who’s moving in?” 
You shrugged once more. “I’ll let you know later today when I find out.”

“You guys whine more than anyone I know,” Rafe told Kelce and Topper as they brought the couch through the door.
“Yeah. I wonder why. It can’t be because we woke up with massive hangovers and someone made us get up at 8:30 in the morning.” Kelce grumbled.
“I told you guys that you might want to take it easy on the alcohol considering we’re going to be up early tomorrow and the sun’s going to be shining all day. I also told you we'd ve working until we had everything moved in. It’s your fault that you two didn’t listen.” Rafe stated, looking behind him so he could see where he was going. "And think of this, you won’t have to go to the gym tomorrow."
“You sound like my mom. Shut up.” Topper grunted, looking at the floor.
As far as Rafe was concerned, it was Kelces and Topper’s fault. He did, after all, tell them what was happening and what day he was moving in. And he provided lunch for them and was also providing dinner so why were they whining. He would've been better off recruiting Sarah for this job. She would've complained less.
“I’m losing grip. Down. Down.” Kelce told the two.
They set the couch down on the floor and caught their breath, leaning against the piece of furniture. Rafe checked his watch. 
4:30 pm. 
He sighed as he noticed the hunger in his stomach for the first time since 11 when they ate lunch.
“It was nice of Rose and Ward to give you all their old furniture,” Topper commented, causing Rafe to look at him. 
Rafe scoffed. “They only did that so they could have an excuse to get new furniture.”
“Even if that’s true, at least you didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars to get furniture.”
Rafe sighed. Topper had a point and he had to admit, he was a bit grateful to his father and stepmother for deciding their furniture was outdated. Even if it was only 2 years old.
“Kelce, wanna grab the water bottles from the truck?” He asked. 
Kelce nodded, heading outside to retrieve the drinks as Rafe readjusted his grip.
"Oh, we're gonna finish this without Kelces’ help," Topper said, catching on after a couple of seconds of Rafe staring at him. 
Topper readjusted his grip, nodding to let Rafe know he was ready. 
"Yes, Top. And then we're gonna order a pizza." Rafe grunted as they lifted the couch once more.  
"You're paying right?"
"Yes, I’m paying. Now angle it more towards the right so it doesn’t hit this corner." 
"You're right or my right?"
"My right."
Topper did as he was told, happy for the free meal that would be provided. Rafe was just happy that this was one of the last things they had to move in.
They placed the couch down underneath the window as Kelce came back in, water bottles in hand. The brunette tossed a water bottle to each of his friends as Rafe grabbed his phone from his pocket. 
"Dominos or Little Caesars?" Rafe asked, looking between his friends.
"Dominos cause I want a sandwich," Kelce stated.
Topper looked at Kelce. "But little Caesars. Besides we had Firehouse Subs for lunch."
"Did I stutter? I want a fucking sandwich to go with my pizza, Topper."
The blonde stared at Kelce before sighing. "Fine. Dominos."

You looked into your trunk, trying to figure out if, no not if, how you were going to get everything in one trip when one of your neighbors approached you.
You looked over at her. "Hey, Mrs.Keling. How are you?" You asked, grabbing one of the paper bags.
"Fine Y/N but how are you?" She asked.
Mrs. and Mr. Keling lived across the street and four doors down from you and never really came over and talked to you. It was usually just the usual wave and smile, maybe a hello and a how are you. But that was only if you ran into each other. 
You raised an eyebrow. "Um…fine. Why do you ask?" 
Mrs.Keling glanced at the house next door, the Uhaul still parked there. You followed her glance before commenting. "Wow. They're still not done moving. They've been working since I woke up." 
"Aren't you worried about living next to him?" 
Those words made a chill go down your spine but you ignored it. "Should I be worried?" You set the bag back down in the trunk.
Mrs.Keling sighed. "Do you not know who's next to you?"
You shook your head. You hadn’t caught a glimpse of the mystery neighbor yet. You had noticed, however, many of the neighbors peeking through their windows or standing in their yards as they talked amongst themselves all day.
Mrs.Keling moved in closer and you looked at the middle-aged woman, slightly scared of who she was going to say moved in.
"Rafe Cameron." She whispered before stepping backward.
You felt yourself relax a bit, scared that it was going to be someone horrible.
 Granted Rafe Cameron wasn’t exactly a saint.
His past wasn't the best and his past consisted of terrorizing you and your friends but, from what John B, Pope, Kie, and Sarah had told you and JJ, he's pretty tolerable now. His hotheadedness, which probably was a result of his coke addiction, seemed to have died down immensely and he didn't really pick fights out in public anymore.
This was probably because if he got in trouble with the law for something stupid like speeding, his criminal activity would be uncovered.
Rafe Cameron may have looked like he turned a leaf and became a law-abiding citizen overnight but that’s why you never judge a book by its cover. Because, if anything, he got dirtier. 
People on the Island knew about Rafe’s new family that he got involved with back when he was 20, no thanks to Wheezie and her mouth.
She told one person to leave her friend alone or else her mob brother would take care of him and that’s all it took. However, no one could arrest him for any illegal activity cause, from what they saw, there was none. He was perfectly clean. Not even the scent of weed to cause them to suspect anything. Eventually, Shoupe had decided that everyone was pulling his leg considering Rafe always lets them search the place and no one had ever caught him doing anything that he could be arrested for.
You let it go, deciding that it was a rumor that could die. You were never much for the gossip that took place within the subdivision you lived in, let alone the island.
"Rafe Cameron lives next door now?" You asked, “As in the man who once climbed a tree to help get a child’s kite down?”
Mrs.Keling nodded. "He’s not as good as he seems Y/N and some of us are worried about you. There’s something about him that’s just...off."
You managed to hold back a scoff. Sure, some of them were worried and you knew they were but it was usually the seniors. The others just wanted to fake it to see if they could get some dirt on the others.
You shrugged as you looked into a bag, seeing the pie at the top, remembering that you picked it up for the new neighbor. "I'll be fine. I have a Blue." You reassured her, grabbing the pie.
You walked across the patch of grass separating your house and, what is now apparently, Rafe’s house. You raised a fist and knocked on the door. Looking around, you saw the neighbors staring at you as you stood there. You grinned and waved at everyone before turning back towards the door.
You heard laughter and footsteps before the door opened, revealing Rafe Cameron himself. He stood in the doorway towering over you, giving you a once over.
"I did some grocery shopping today and decided to pick up a welcome pie. It’s probably not that good considering it was in the clearance section but, ya know, as my dad always says "When you have a cheap pie, have a cheap beer with it"." You smiled, extending the pie towards him.
Rafe smiled back, taking the pie from your hands. "Your dads a wise man."
"Indeed, he is." You grinned.
Rafe looked past you and towards the people watching from their yards.
"Do you want to come inside? Have a slice of this pie you bought? It'd be unfair to not share." Rafe offered.
You smiled but shook your head. "Thanks for the offer but I'm going to have to decline. I've got to go get ready for my shift at work and get my groceries inside." You told him, turning to face your neighbors.
You turned back to the man in front of you and leaned in. "Don't mind these guys. They're, sadly, just your stereotypical suburban moms and dads who like to talk shit about others but hate it when others talk shit about them. Except for Bonnie. She's sweet." You said, waving to the old lady across the street who was tending to her roses. "Anyway. See you around, Rafe." You smiled, waving before turning around and heading back to your driveway where Mrs.Keling still stood.
Rafe watched as you exchanged a few more words with Mrs.Keling, no doubt in his mind that it was about him considering the older lady kept glancing his way.
"Well, she's cute." 
Rafe turned around to see Kelce and Topper standing off to the side where they could see outside. Rafe rolled his eyes at his two friends, both of whom wore a smirk, and shoved the pie into Kelces hands.
"You two wait for the pizza." He told them before walking pit the door and to your driveway. He smiled at Mrs. Kelsing who immediately bid you goodbye and scurried off to her home.
You looked at Rafe, a bag in each arm as you waited for him to say something. 
"You brought me a pie. Let me at least help you bring in groceries if you're not gonna have a slice of the pie."

Topper and Kelce watched from the living room window as Rafe grabbed a couple of bags and helped you bring in your groceries.
"Why is he helping her?" 
"Cause that’s what you do when a nice cute girl brings you a pie. You help her with whatever." Kelce answered. 
"And you leave your best friends unattended with the pie? A poor choice really." Topper stated, flipping open the box the dessert was in. 
"A poor choice indeed." Kelce agreed, opening a box labeled kitchen and pulling out a couple of plates and forks.
Kelce served each of them a slice, clinking their forks together before digging in.

"Wait. My brother lives next to you now?" Sarah asked as you brought your friends the drinks they ordered.
It was probably 3 hours into your shift when JJ asked if you had met whoever moved in next door. And when you told the group, their jaws hit the floor.
"And he helped you bring in groceries? You sure that’s Rafe?" JJ raised an eyebrow as he immediately brought his bottle of beer to his lips.
You nodded as you tucked the now empty tray under your arm, looking at your watch. 15 minutes left of your shift.
"That’s so weird," Kie stated.
"Is it though? I mean, he has been wanting to have his own place for a while. It doesn’t help that Topper doesn’t pay attention to what name is on the sticky note when it comes to food." Sarah rolled her eyes, remembering all the times she called Rafe for something and heard an argument break out amongst the two boys.
And all she had to say was poor Kelce for having to put up with their bullshit.
"Yeah. I know that feeling." Pope commented, glancing at JJ.
The blonde immediately pointed his finger at Pope. "You don’t write your name on shit. You specifically said that we aren’t going to do the whole this is my food, this is your food." JJ defended himself.
"Uh, no. I never said that. Why would I say that, JJ?" 
"You tell me cause those words came out of your mouth."
"Oh did they? Cause I don’t remember that. In fact, I remember you saying we should put our names on our food so we know what belongs to who but then you broke that rule." Pope glared at his best friend.
"No. I said we should label the to-go boxes from restaurants when we dine in then take our leftovers home so we know what belongs to who."
"Okay. Pipe it down and quit the squawking." You told them, giving both of them a light smack.
"You two fight worse than me and Sarah and you two aren’t even together like that." John B shook his head.
"You don’t know that for sure," JJ smirked, bringing the bottle up once again so he could take a drink.
Pope sighed as the rest of you stood there staring at JJ before you shook your head. "I’m going back to work and in 15 minutes you all better be ready to leave." John B held up the keys to the twinkie and you snatched them from his hand. "And I'm driving."
You had driven to John B’s in your car and parked it there once you heard from Kie that everyone was planning on going out for drinks, opting on being the designated driver. This wasn’t the first time you did this, having them have their night out at the bar you worked at so you could drive them home safely after your shift. It gave them plenty of time to get shit-faced and you were able to make sure no one did something dumb while still being able to work.
It was kind of like Nani and Lilo’s situation of Nani bringing Lilo to work.
The pogues were Lilo and you were Nani.

Rafe took a swig from his beer before setting it down harder than he needed to.
He was currently swearing under his breath as he sat on the floor, attempting to assemble an entertainment center he bought from IKEA as his two best friends sat on the couch, each enjoying another slice of pie as they had a beer themselves.
“I’m telling you, man, you should’ve had them to assemble it for you,” Topper told him.
Rafe rolled his eyes. “I can do it myself thank you very much.”
“You couldn’t do it sober. What makes you think you can do it drunk?” Kelce laughed.
Rafe turned around and sent him a glare. “I will have you know that it’s going to take more than a beer and a half to get me drunk.” He looked down at their plates to see them both halfway done with their pie slices. “Is there going to be any pie left for me?”
“You mean the pie that the cutie pie from next door brought over? There’s a slice left.” Kelce told him.
“And I’m not taking any chances,” Rafe muttered, slamming down the allen wrench and standing up, walking into his kitchen to retrieve that last slice.
He grabbed a fork and the box that the pie rested in, not bothering with a plate, before walking back over to his spot on the floor.
“You know,” Rafe started, using his fork to cut a piece of pie off his slice before letting his fork hover in the air, “you two having been pigging out this whole time, yukking it up and whatnot while I have been doing all this work.” Rafe punctuated his sentence by placing his fork in his mouth.
“Not true. We’ve been providing you moral support.” Topper defended.
“Well if you two aren’t going to provide physical help, then you can walk your asses out the door.”
Topper and Kelce looked at each other before nodding and getting up. “See you later, buddy.”
“Yeah. Oh, btw, Sarah said something about throwing you a little ‘congrats on getting a house’ party at John B’s on Friday since she didn’t want to throw it here and upset your neighbors!”
Rafe opened his mouth to speak but the door shutting cut him off.
"Thanks for helping." He muttered.
He picked up his beer and took another sip, checking his watch as he brought the bottle away from his lips.
12:30 AM.
Rafe sighed as he continued to eat his pie and drink his beer, deciding that once he was finished with his snack he’d head to bed. 
He got up to put his fork in the sink and throw away his garbage when headlights caught his attention.
He looked out the window, confusion on his face. This wasn’t the type of neighborhood where he expected people to go out until midnight. Hell, they didn’t even seem like the people who’d be out until 10.
It made a lot more sense when he saw the car pull into your driveway and you getting out of the car. He watched you walk up to your door and unlock it before walking in, closing the door behind you.
He shook his head before walking away from the window, continuing his way towards the kitchen. He threw everything away and tossed his fork into the sink before shutting off his lights and heading into his bathroom. He brushed his teeth before changing into a sweatshirt and sweatpants, heading into his room, and flopping down onto the mattress that laid on the floor with a groan. He suddenly regretted ordering his new bed frame online and not paying for two-day delivery. 
He let his eyes close, his breathing steady as he worked his way to sleep, letting darkness completely take over in a matter of minutes.

Oh my word! That's a lot!
Ok, here goes.
Behind cut for length
1. Name - I prefer Shanie but my parents call me “Mis”. Well, my mom calls me “Mis” my father calls me “Pooch” which I despise. Just stick with Shanie.
9. What did you study - I changed majors midway through college. I started out as an art major focusing on computer animation. That didn’t work out at ALL. Turns out I sucked ass at computer animation. Too much math involved. So I switched to a major in teaching with minors in history and popular culture. Unfortunately I failed at that too and, while I did graduate, it was with a degree in “Planned Program” which is a polite way of saying “General Ed”. I did earn my two minors though, so I guess that’s something!
15. Relationship Status -  Single. Very Very Single. I haven’t had a single date in about 10 years. By the looks of it, I’m going to stay single.
17. Do you have a crush - Do celebrities count? If not then no. I don't even know anyone IRL to have crushes on. I legit have nobody in my IRL life outside of my parents and my case manager. Kind of hard to have a crush when you don't have any friends or even acquaintances.
21: How was your day -  Well, today I got nothing accomplished. I did have a meeting with my case manager, so that was nice. It’s nice to have someone to talk to and infodump on (which she lets me). Outside of that I woke up, had breakfast, lunch, and dinner, had a nap, and went to Dairy Queen for ice cream on the way home. Unfortunately, DQ is on the far side of town and by the time I got home, it was melted. So it went in the fridge to eat later once it refreezes. Outside of that it was a pretty boring day.
25. Your fears - Whoo-ee. Ok. So coming in with the borderline I’d say my biggest fear is abandonment. That just comes with the territory. After that I have a huge fear of storms and waking up in a fire, both brought about by recurring nightmares. I also have a fear of flying (too much Air Crash Investigations) and I hate elevators. I’m not claustrophobic mind you, I just have a fear that they will fall on me. Anything over 3 stories and I’m having an anxiety attack. There are other, lesser fears but those are some of the big ones.
26. Your dreams - Well, in a literal sense, my dreams are wild, crazy adventures that I get most of my fanfics from. From a metaphorical standpoint I really don’t have any. I’ve given up on hoping for anything good in my life. I’m too busy trying to get from day to day to indulge in long term planning. I know it seems terrible, but it’s the truth.
29. Hobbies - Obviously action figures, that much is clear. I collect and customize them to display in my apartment. I also like making digital art (sometimes) and am starting to get into illustrations/artwork. However, I don’t have a tablet/pen for the computer so everything is done with the mouse and GIMP (which makes it difficult). I’m an avid collector of digital media. Some of my big ones are Doctor Who DVDs, Wrestling Entrance Themes, and Official Xena Photos (not the physical ones, jpeg scans). I used to be big into Wizard101 and, while I don’t really play anymore, I still like following the game on YT and on here.
33. Languages you speak – Only English, except it’s a very specific English. I usually speak what’s called the “Yinzer” dialect which is a dialect that is unique to the Pittsburgh region. That’s why you see me use the word “Yinz” a bunch. That’s our word for “You guys” or “Y’all”. However, while most of my speech is Yinzer, I have watched enough British TV in my lifetime to have picked up some Brit speech. It confuses the hell out of people when I use it because you’ll have me say things like “My apartment needs cleaned” and then follow it up thirty seconds later with, “I’m rubbish at cleaning.” My mother has picked up on this and sometimes calls me her “British Daughter” because of it.
41. Your Device Background – My phone’s lock screen is a picture of Shane in his Roman Centurion outfit from the one Royal Rumble photo shoot. My phone background is a checkered wallpaper with “SZ” on it for Sami Zayn. (That one might be getting changed if he stops being Sami.) And my computer background is just a night sky over the mountains. I rarely ever see my computer wallpaper so I don’t mind that it is a generic background.
46. The most dangerous thing you’ve done – You know how Lucy breathes fire on Xena? I taught myself how to do that. That wasn’t bright to begin with but it was made so much worse that I was underage and couldn’t buy Bacardi and was using lamp oil instead. I was young and dumb.
48. Some things you’ve tried in your life – Funny thing, I’m a sucker for strange foods. There was a list going around that said “How many of these weird foods have you eaten” and I think I had eaten all but six of them and that was only because I didn’t have access to them. I’m proud to say that, since then, I’ve knocked Quail Egg off the list! Turns out the local Japanese restaurant served it. So that knocked it down to five. Still need to get ahold of some gator meat and haggis. I’d love to try Foie Gras but it’s just so damn unethical that I don’t know if I could bring myself to eat it. Pheasant is another one that I’d love to try but I can’t convince my parents to buy me one (and I’m far too poor to afford it myself). But, yeah. I love strange foods. I’ll pretty much try any food once if I know it’s safe to eat.
54. Any tattoos or piercings – Unless you count partially pierced ears then no. And my ears are only partially pierced because after I had them done they got infected so I tried to let them heal shut. They ended up not closing fully and now, if I’m not adverse to a bit of pain, I can still wear earrings occasionally.
59. Song you wouldn’t normally admit you like – Judas is my guilty pleasure song. I know Jericho is a douchebag and I have tried to hate the song but I can’t. I end up singing along every time.
68. Favorite Movie/Series - Hmm... well, my all time favorite movie is definitely “The Towering Inferno”, hands down. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen that. I’m a sucker for disaster movies and, in my opinion, that one is the cream of the crop. I actually like it better than “The Poseidon Adventure” simply because I think the movie is inferior to the book. That said, I’ve also read both of the books that “The Towering Inferno” is based on and I like the combined movie better than them. Favorite series, however, I don’t think I have one definitive favorite series. I’ve had favoriteS like Xena, Buffy, Sherlock, Doctor Who, etc, but I’ve never had one all time favorite.
73: Favorite Greek God – Oh geez. Hmmm... You know, I’m going to have to go with Hermes here, primarily because I have this theory that he is the god of the internet. I know there was no internet in ancient Greece but, frankly, Hermes is the god of commerce, communication, travelers, and thieves. While it’s true that Hephaestus is the god of technology and would probably be the god of computers, I fully believe that Hermes would be the patron of the interwebs.
81 Favorite Books – In all honesty, going to college for 8 years burned me out for reading and now I can barely bring myself to read a comic book. For this reason, most of my favorite books come from childhood. My all time favorite book as a kid was “Flight #116 Is Down” by Caroline B Cooney. It was a disaster story about plane crash in a young woman’s back yard. Somehow, everyone didn’t die – a fact which was called out in the final pages when a fireman says that the crash was extremely odd because “usually they’re all dead.” That book might be another reason I’m terrified of flying. Other favorite books of mine was the “Fear Street Saga Trilogy” (Not the Fear Street Series, the trilogy that served as the origin story). I also like the Hitchhikers Guide saga but when I found out that Douglas Adams died before he could finish the saga, I stopped reading after book 4 so that the story had a happy ending. Novelizations in general are a big thing for me too, I’ve read some really good ones over the years and it’s fascinating to see how they differ from the movies they’re based on.
96. Hero or Villain – Well, if my dreams are anything to go by, I’m a villain at heart. I know, weird right? You all think I’m such a nice person but really, I have a huge dark side to me IRL and, if I was in a world where superheroes were real and I had superpowers I would almost certainly use them for evil. Or, at the very least I would use them to force social change ala Dr. Horrible.
98. Shapeshifting or Controlling Time – SHAPESHIFTING! Oh my goodness shapeshifting! I would love that so much! First of all, I wouldn’t be this huge anymore. I could be as heavy or a skinny as I want. Also, I wouldn’t have to worry about looking old or losing my hair! Plus, can you imagine the cosplay potential!? Forget dressing as the 13th Doctor, I AM THE 13th DOCTOR! That would just be the best!

1 - What are some of your favourite scents/smells? The ocean, rain, that fire burning autumn smell, coffee, garlic, mint, cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, sweet smells, sandalwood, cedar wood, patchouli.
2 - Do you enjoy watching murder mystery/crime programmes? Do you prefer fictional shows or ones based on real-life cases? Yeah. I think the ones based on real-life cases are more interesting from a psychological perspective.
3 - What was the last parcel you received in the mail? Was it something you ordered yourself or was it a gift? It was a Wandavision shirt from Boxlunch that I ordered a few weeks ago.
4 - Is there anyone you send e-mails to on a regular basis? Nope. I don’t even recall the last time I sent an email.
5 - What's your favourite colour combination? Are any rooms in your house decorated in that particular scheme? I love pastels together. No, they’re not, but that would be cute.
6 - Do you prefer white, milk or dark chocolate? What about flavoured chocolate? White chocolate is my favorite, followed by milk. I don’t like dark chocolate at all. As for flavored, I love mint chocolate.
7 - What was the last reason for you leaving the room you're currently in? I went to go make my nightly bowl of ramen.
8 - How many surveys have you taken so far today? Do you have any plans to take more after this one? This is my second so far.
9 - If you eat it, what type of meat is your favourite? If you're vegetarian/vegan, do you like meat substitutes like quorn or tofu? Chicken. It’s pretty much the only kind I eat, honestly. I eat beef, pork, and turkey, but not very often.
10 - What was the last thing you looked up on Google? I was looking up a definition. 
11 - What's the next major holiday coming up for you? Do you have any interesting plans? Next up is Easter. My parents, brother, and I will be doing our usual Easter dinner.
12 - Do you live in an area where masks are compulsory in order to enter shops? Yes. Restrictions have lightened, so we’re able to eat indoors and such again, but you still have to wear a mask and capacity is limited.
13 - Did you wear any kind of uniform to school? If so, describe it. If not, did you at least have some kind of dress code to follow? The only time I had to wear a uniform was for the preschool I went to. It was like a gray, blue, red, and black plaid, I think. *shrug* Something like that. As for dress codes, my schools had the typical school dress code that most have.
14 - Is there anything unusual or out of the ordinary in the room you're currently in? There’s a 4 ft giant stuffed animal giraffe in the corner, ha.
15 - Who was the last person you spoke to via Messenger, if you have it? My aunt on Facebook Messenger.
16 - Have you ever been badly sunburned? What did you do in order to make it less painful afterwards? Yes. When I was a kid I used to actually spend a lot of time outside playing during the summer and would get pretty sunburned sometimes. Also from spending hours out at the beach. Not a whole lot I could except apply a lot of aloe vera.
17 - When was the last time you went swimming in the sea? Do you prefer swimming in the sea or in a pool? Neverrr. I love being near the ocean, but I absolutely will not get in it. That’s terrifying and I also can’t swim. I don’t enjoy swimming at all, to be honest. 
18 - What's something you need to buy in the near future? Are you waiting until you get paid to buy it? There isn’t anything I need right now, but there’s a few things I would like to get. 
19 - What have you eaten so far today? Do you have plans to eat anything else before you go to bed? Just ramen so far, which is my usual nighttime snack before bed.
20 - Do you parents still buy you Easter eggs even though you're fully grown? No. My mom does still get me a little gift, though.
21 - The last time you were in a car, where were you going and what were you doing there? I went to my doctor appointment, to go pick up food and coffee, and then back home. 
22 - Do your parents have any opinions that you consider to be old-fashioned or odd? Yeah, some. More so my dad.
23 - What time did you get out of bed this morning? Is that normal for you? I haven’t gone to bed, yet, but I’ll be getting up at 11 for my church’s live stream. I don’t have to get out of bed for that, though. I typically stay in bed or even go back to sleep for a few hours after.  It takes me a long time after waking up to finally drag myself out of bed, especially if I’m lucky and my mom or brother brings me Starbucks. If I have coffee, then it’s really hard to find a reason to get out of bed, ha. 
24 - What normal things do you miss the most since COVID hit? Going grocery shopping with my mom and going to the movies.
25 - What style of jeans/trousers are your favourite? Skinny jeans. It’s been a few years now since I’ve worn jeans though to be honest. I’ve been living in leggings and it’s hard to imagine ever wearing anything else now.
26 - Does it bother you when you recognise an actor but can't remember what else you've seen them in? I always end up Googling them. I do that a lot.
27 - Are you generally more introverted or extroverted? Does this have a negative impact on you in any way? I’m an introvert all the way.
28 - If you were on Mastermind (a UK quiz show where you need in-depth knowledge of a certain subject), what would your preferred topic be? I would not be a good contestant for that kind of show at all.
29 - What's your favourite flavour of cookie? Have you ever tried those cookies that are stuffed with things like brownies or cheesecake? Sugar or shortbread. I have tried those and they’re delicious.
30 - When was the last time you tried out a new recipe? Did it work out as well as you hoped? I don’t do recipes or any cooking besides ramen.

January 20, 2020
So,I haven't eaten yet today. All I've had so far is a zero calorie monster and water. I didn"t have any coffee cream and I didn't wanna buy coffee cuz they make it so sweet even when you just get a tsp of sugar.
Anyway, I'm eating supper now which is instant rice noodles and an egg (would've been an egg white if the yolk didn't break on me) which comes to 250. Then I'll have two clementines (70) and a few doritos (160) later cuz I'm craving it and I don't wanna binge tomorrow due to my lack of flexibility today. So, my total will be 480 after about a 20 hour fast.
I'd like to go for another 20:4 fast but I work and my class is at a weird time so I just gotta eat when I can. I'll definitely start fasting at 5 tomorrow, just donno when I'll eat before that.
Anyway, another good day, I'm losing track of my binge free days! I think I'm on 6 or 7 now!

Favorite beverage: Well, Water I guess.  I like drinking Mt. Dew or Coffee but I’ve cut back on all that stuff (but I will have a cup of coffee every morning)
When was the last time you had ketchup? On Saturday.  We made Sweet Potato Fries but they don’t really good with ketchup
What is the most recent gift you've been given? My co-workers gave me a GrubHub gift card for all the help (they’re working from home but I still go into the office so they e-mail what they need to do to me so I can do it for them - I actually hate doing it but..we don’t really have a choice).  Anyway, they wanted to give me something as “Thanks for all the help” and I told them a simple “Thank You” is all I want but people don’t listen. (Not to be ungrateful but I don’t like receiving gifts from anyone other than family and NO ONE listens and gives me things anyway).
Did you leave the house today? Not yet, I’ll be leaving about 8:10 to go to work
Are there bumper stickers on your car? Yes :) a “Straw Hat” pirate one from the anime One Piece and an EXO sticker for the kpop group.
Are you watching tv right now? Kind of.  “Dark” on Netflix.  I paused it briefly though to read these questions - its in German so I need to read the subtitles.

Do you have a job? Yes..but I’ve been thinking about quitting so I can move back to the city I loved.  Life is too short to live in a place you don’t like and I’ve seen other jobs I can apply for so I’m not worried.

When did you last have whipped cream? This morning..I like using heavy whipping cream in my coffee (as opposed to the other creamers that are all sugar).  My husband uses the canned/aerosol whipped cream in his coffee though.

I do!  I won an iPod at my high school graduation celebration (my class had a “lock in” at the school - basically they “lock” you in the school (from like 6pm to 6am) where you can play games, nap if you want, eat all sorts of junk food or just hang out and have a party for everyone graduating, it was a lot of fun.  They had a raffle before everyone went home the next morning and I won an iPod (this was in 2006 so a long time ago lol) But it was just the standard black one.
What is the most recent picture on your phone/camera of: UGH OMG so I forgot I took a picture of this DISGUSTING roach that I found in our apt on Friday night.  They’re not the tiny/infestation ones, they’re large “Palmetto Bug” roaches that tend to wander into houses that have cracks and our vents.  Since I live in an apartment, theres not much I can do about it. I can’t wait to move!!!

Oh definitely, we like to go to the gun range with my father-in-law.  Its a great way for us to bond and I hope to God I’ll never ever have to actually use one but I like the idea of not being completely defenseless if someone breaks into my house (as I’m small and could easily get overpowered)

The days before Christmas flew faster than Cam and Donna expected. They hired two programmers and rented an office for Phoenix. By mutual agreement, they did not try to return to the building where Mutiny and Comet were, too many memories remained there.
The winter season this year turned out to be pretty cold and Cam became uncomfortable in her Airstream. She tried to move to a hotel, but as soon as Donna heard about it, she pulled out the house keys from her purse and handed it to Cam, saying that the guest room was already called the "Cam's room", so there was nothing to reinvent the wheel.
- But Donna, I can very well afford a hotel room! - protested Cameron.
- Of course you can. It has its advantages - a concierge, a maid who will clean your room every day: make a bed, wipe dust from the computer ... - Donna listed in a nerdy voice.
- Stop, stop, I get it! But will I not interfere for you with my constant presence? Well, you know, I'm not the best neighbor.
- Since then I have lived in a house with two teenagers, so you will have to work hard to interfere me. In addition, when I'm not in Symphonic, we are together almost all the time, so almost nothing will change.

Once in the hallway of Symphonic Donna met Casey and Laura and peered at them for several seconds, trying to understand why they seemed familiar, and then remembered that she had seen them in a bar. The week before Christmas, Joanie called and said that she would definitely come home for the holidays.
To meet Joanie at the airport, they drove three together. Cam, as the tallest, was the first to see the girl and waved her hand. Joanie beamed upon seeing them, and rushed forward, pushing the crowd with her backpack. After an emotional hug, they got into the car and drove home. On the way, Donna excitedly asked Joanie about her future travel plans, her plans for the holidays, and asked if she needed any help. Joanie could not stand it:
- Mom, everything is fine, don't worry!
- I don't worry! - Donna answered nervously twisting her hands.
Cam, driving, grunted loudly, and Haley smiled:
- Joanie, mom did not give us rest for three days, discussing whether it is worth tidying up in your room or better not to invade your space and she also bought food to cook all your favorite dishes.
- After several months of traveling, even I don’t remember all my favorite dishes, - Joanie grinned.
- She has a list! - said Haley.
- Some things are unchanging! - Joanie winked at Haley. Cam saw this in the rearview mirror and said:
- You're wrong, your mom has changed a lot! (Donna turned and stared at Cam in surprise) You won’t believe it, but today she’s even ...
Cam withstood a theatrical pause. All three looked at her in anticipation of the continuation. Joanie impatiently asked:
- What?
- ... didn't iron her jeans!
- What? - Joanie asked incredulously. Donna began to laugh.
- Yes it is! - Cameron continued in a serious tone. - She was so worried about meeting with you that instead of her jeans she mistakenly ironed mine. And she noticed it too late.
The space of the car exploded with laughter, Cam watched with a smile the work of his hands (more precisely, his words).
After that, Donna stopped worrying so much and the tension was relieved. Joanie began to talk about the fun habits of the locals. Donna silently held out her hand and gratefully squeezed Cameron's forearm, gaze transmitting "Thank you." Cam looked away from the road for a second, looked at Donna and slightly moved her shoulders - "no problem."
After arriving and several hours of stories, demonstrating photos and talking about the trip, Joanie slept 16 hours in a row. Donna looked into her room several times and consulted with Cameron on whether to awaken Sleeping Beauty.
- Don't touch her, let her sleep, - Cam replied. - Although she is doing well, she is tired, but now she is in her home and relaxed, her body needs it.

- Never mind, I probably haven't quite woken up yet. So what do we have for lunch?
Eating stew, Joanie mentioned some of the dinner options that she had eaten on the trip, and watched with a laugh as the faces of the interlocutors twisted in disgust and sympathy.
- Cameron's weird appetizer after that sounds pretty edible, - said Haley.
- Hey! - exclaimed Cam. - It's edible anyway; you just haven't tried it.
- I'm too young to die! - Haley said pathetically.
- For the sake of justice, I note that I did not try this appetizer, but the cheese egg was quite tasty, - Donna said, setting up the mugs of tea.
Cam choked on the stew and Donna had to knock her on the back. When Cam cleared her throat, she asked in surprise:
- Have you tried a cheese egg? When?
- Last weekend, you made it yourself for breakfast and ate with such an appetite that I was curious, so when you left for the computer, I repeated your recipe. You know, if you add a little flour and bake in the oven, you should get something like cheese biscuits.
- Let's make some cheese cookies! Or not, ginger cookies is better! Joanie suggested enthusiastically. - And I also want marshmallows at the fire! You will not believe it, but there are always problems with this: either there is no fire, then there is no marshmallows.
- We can go to Airstream, it's a convenient place for a bonfire, - Cam said.

When you look for a trailer for a trip through all the states, keep this in mind. Well, or, - Cam smiled slyly and glanced at Donna, - make friends with someone with whom you can live the winter.
Joanie sighed in disappointment, took a sip of tea and thought. Haley decided to cheer her up.
- Hey, we can go in the spring. Are you coming in spring? We’ll just buy a tent and ... what else is needed there?
- Still need ... - Joanie said thoughtfully, - ... yes, you're right! This is a great idea! Mom, Cam, are we going to camp when I arrive in the spring?
Donna and Cam looked at each other and simultaneously shrugged. They did not understand where Joanie suddenly showed such enthusiasm for tents and bonfires, but they also saw nothing wrong with that. Donna secretly decided that since it would be necessary to buy equipment, then she personally would choose the most comfortable one.
- Well, honey, there will be a tent for you, - Donna replied, making sure Cam didn't mind the idea.
They did not see Joanie wink at Haley, and in response to her questioning look, she negatively shook her head - "later."

The remaining three days before Christmas were filled with festive bustle and secret operations to prepare and hide gifts. One morning, Donna, throwing out the trash, saw a large crumpled clump of wrapping paper in the bin. She mentally compiled a list of suspects, sorted them by rating on the ability to handle paper, then carefully went to Cam's room, quietly opened the door and looked in. Cam slept soundly, the room looked as usual, but there were scissors and two small pieces of packing tape on the floor. "Gotcha!" Donna thought with a smile. Apparently, Cam tried to pack something, lost this battle and threw out the crumpled paper in frustration. Well, she didn't burn it.
Later in the afternoon, Cameron's picture, furious burning a clump of multi-colored paper with the exclamation "Get it, Walmart!" suddenly surfaced in the head of Donna in the middle of a business meeting, she had to mask a fit of laughter with a fit of coughing and run out of the room to calm down. She wondered if she should tell Cam that they would pack everything in a flower shop easily and quickly, but decided not to admit that she was aware of her unsuccessful attempt.

Sid’s awake before Geno the next morning, feeling like he hasn’t eaten in days. He’s scrambling eggs when Geno comes shuffling in and tries to take over. “What you doing? You still sick, should be resting. I cook.”
“I can cook some eggs. I’m not that sick.”
Geno doesn’t look convinced and Sid finally sighs and goes to sit at the breakfast bar. “Fine, but I have to do something besides sleep all day. It’s getting old.”
“We find something to do, I’m promise.”
Except “something” turns out to be watching TV quietly on the couch which Sid grumpily tolerates until Geno fluffs a pillow and says nonchalantly, “Should kick back, relax a little,” and Sid is done.
Before he even has a moment to think about it, he’s on his feet flinging away the blanket that Geno had tried to tuck around him and stomping toward the back of the house.
Geno follows, wide eyed. “What you doing?”
“Anything, Geno! I will literally do anything right now that isn’t laying down and resting!”
“Was doctor’s orders!” He follows Sid through the back door and looks on with shock as Sid yanks his shirt off and tosses it to the side, charging towards the pool. “Sid, come on! What you even doing?”
“I,” Sid says, turning with a flourish, “Am going to take a swim. And then, I think I’ll take a walk. Hell, maybe I’ll join a fucking marathon. All I know is I. Am not. Laying down. Anymore!” With that he turns his back on Geno again and stomps down the pool stairs into the water.  
Geno watches from the edge, looking dumbfounded. “If you want to do something so bad could have just say so.”
Sid glares. “I did say so and you ignored me!”
“Only trying to do what doctor say!”
“Yeah, well, I just don’t seem to remember her saying I had to lay down until my brain fucking rots.”
“Don’t you think you being a little dramatic? No one say you have to do that. Just trying to make sure you rest! What so wrong with that?”
Sid narrows his eyes but instead of replying, he sticks his tongue out at Geno and then lets himself float onto his back, eyes drifting shut.
“Oh, that’s nice. So mature, Sid.”
“Can’t hear you! I’m swimming!”
And for a few moments Sid thinks maybe Geno has given up. At least until he feels the splash, tossing him onto his side. He surfaces, sputtering and glares at Geno again. “What the hell?”
“You want to swim! We swim!” Geno swans his arms out dramatically and floats onto his back—kicking copious amounts of water in Sid’s face in the process.
“Are you kidding me?” he sputters, once he’s cleared his eyes. Pursing his lips at the smug smile on Geno’s face he does the only thing he can. He leaps forward and wrestles Geno under the water.
Five minutes and lots of flailing later, Sid is leaning against the pool wall laughing so hard, he’s in tears. Geno is stretched out beside him still trying to stifle his own laughter as he leans his head back against the ledge. When he finally cracks an eye open, he grins at Sid. “Guess I’ve been a little bit pain in the ass.”
“Yeah. But I get it.”
“I’m sorry. All this is new to me, little bit scary. Sometimes feel like want to keep you in bubble—anything to keep you safe.”
“I haven’t given you enough credit for that. I’m sorry I was such a brat.”
Geno shrugs. “Is okay. You were right. Still need to live life, get exercise, do things.”
“That’s all I want.”
“I’m try to lighten up.”
“Thanks.”
“You ready to go in and nap now? Get some rest?”
Sid gapes at Geno in disbelief until he cracks a huge grin and laughs—at least until Sid tosses water in his face.  
They spend the next couple of hours swimming, walking around the property and making lunch together. And if Sid maybe naps a little on the couch afterwards, Geno is nice enough not to be too smug about it.
Geno’s up early for practice the next morning and he looks surprised to see Sid come into the kitchen fully dressed. “You’re up early,” he starts as Sid carefully avoids eye contact. He knows this isn’t going to go over well.
Sid sighs. “I have school.”
Geno narrows his eyes.”Sid—”
Sid cuts him off. “Geno, please don’t do this. I feel better and I have to go to school.”
Geno looks like he wants to say a lot more but, thankfully, he finally shakes his head. “Fine. You come back after school, though? Maybe I drive, drop you off and pick you up after classes.”
This is the part that Sid is dreading the most and he avoids Geno’s eyes as he zips up his bag, sucks in a breath before saying, “I have to work later.”
“You kidding me?”
“Do I look like I’m kidding?” Sid really shouldn’t be so short with Geno but he knew this was going to be an issue. “Sorry. Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”
Geno shrugs. “More concerned about your health right now.”
“The doctor said I could go back.”
“She say you can go back if you feel completely better. You don’t.”
“Geno, I’m fine.”
“You forget dizzy spell yesterday? You forget needing nap?”
Sid hasn’t forgotten and he doesn’t need Geno to remind him. There are a lot of things he wants to say but most of them would make him look like a petulant child so he settles for, “I’m going,” before he turns and walks out.
Guilt hits before he’s even on the highway but there’s nothing he can do about it. He has to go to school and work, there isn’t any other choice. Besides, he’s felt better every day and he feels fine now. He’ll text Geno when he gets to class.
Classes go fine. If Sid’s being honest, he’s definitely more tired than usual but he’s not dizzy and doesn’t feel sick so he counts it as a win. Geno still hasn’t replied to his earlier apology for leaving so abruptly but he sends another text anyhow, hoping it will help.
<Just thought I’d let you know I’m feeling okay, promise. Been to two classes and only two more to go.>
There’s no immediate reply but Sid doesn’t really expect one, knows that Geno had a full day of practice and meetings so he shoves his phone away and tries to focus.
His last class is a struggle. He’s tired, more tired than he expected to be and yeah, okay, he’s been taking a nap every day but that’s just not an option today so he pushes though. By the time it’s over he’s dragging. Just the thought of walking to the car is overwhelming, nevermind working his five hour shift.
He wishes things were different, that he had a choice.
By the time he gets back to his car he’s lightheaded and sweating. He sits with his head on the steering wheel, air conditioner running for several minutes and thinks of Geno. Maybe he was right. Maybe he shouldn’t be going to work like this.
But then Sidney remembers the stack of bills sitting on the desk in his apartment and he shoves all thoughts of calling in out of his mind. He has to go to work. He has to.
He’s cooled down and feels a little better by the time he gets to work. He thinks, hopefully, that even though he’ll be on his feet a lot it will be in the air conditioned shop so it will be fine. As long as he’s out of the heat, he’ll be fine.
It takes less than an hour for everything to go to shit. His boss is furious, griping in the background as Sid hunches over the toilet bowl, vision swimming. He’s not really sure how he manages to pull himself together enough to leave work, much less make it back to his apartment but, somehow, he does. If he can just lay down, just cool off and drink some water, he’ll feel better.
The cramping starts before he makes it to the couch, a sudden aching twinge spreading across his abdomen and lower back. And that—that’s new and Sid tries to swallow down the rising fear as he lowers himself.
“Okay,” he says to the empty room. “It’s okay. It was just from all the walking. It probably won’t happen ag—”
Another cramp, sharp and clenching, has him scrambling for his phone, panic rising in his chest. All he can think as he listens to the other line ring is that Geno was right and he was stubborn and rude and stupidly put the baby at risk for—for what? A job at the coffee shop? The call goes to voicemail and Sid lets out a desperate sound as he quickly calls again and then again, panic nearly choking him.
This time Geno picks up on the second ring, sounding out of breath. “Sid? Sorry, was in meeting.  What—”
“I’m cramping and I think it’s bad,” he blurts, cutting Geno off, voice shaking.
“Okay, need you stay calm. Where are you?”
“My apartment,” Sid says, eyes burning.
“Okay, listen to me. Want you to lay on side while you wait. I’m come get you.”
Sid shifts around until he’s laying. “Okay.”
“You laying down?”
“Yeah.” He swallows back a soft sob as he feels another cramp.
“Good. Just stay right there. I’m on way.” Sid has no idea how Geno is staying so calm but he’s never been more grateful.
“Geno I—I’m sorry. I’m so scared. You were right and I should have listened to you, I—”
“Hey,” Geno cuts him off and Sid can hear the jingle of car keys in the background. “Everything going to be okay.”
“But—”
“Sid, you have to listen. Going to come get you, take you to hospital, they take care. Everything will be okay. I’m promise.”
“Okay,” he croaks, lower lip wobbling.
“You doing so good, Sid. I’m going to hang up now for couple minute, call doctor. Then call you right back. You keep phone right there, promise you answer.”
“I promise.”
“Good. Keep laying, keep breathe. I’m on my way.”
“Okay. Okay. Hurry.”
“I’m hurry. Promise.”
Sid swallows hard, clutching the phone to his chest while he waits.

Today wasn't so bad
I weighed 150 today! That's great. Maybe I can be 149 by Monday.
I haven't eaten much because I haven't been very hungry. I ate a banana and a 4 inch baguette for lunch, then later I had a cup of chicken and egg soup, then I had two bites of an ice cream sandwich my husband bought, and a few chips and salsa. I've also had a cup of wine and I now have a cup of blueberry slim life tea. After I finish it I'll make my low cal cider.
I need more stevia and apple cider vinegar, so I'll make sure we get some when we go grocery shopping tomorrow.
Next weekend we have a convention, so I'm probably going to be stuck eating a lot of carbs and stuff I shouldn't. And my mom will probably want to go to this gourmet burger place she really likes. Not good. I'll bring lots of tea and a container of stevia with me to try and fight off weight gain. Hopefully I won't gain too much over the weekend. I'm dreading it.
Honestly my mom is so inconsiderate. She doesn't seem to care that I'm trying hard to lose weight and keeps getting food I shouldn't eat like pizza and fast food and I don't have enough self control to resist it. And if I tell her I shouldn't eat it because I'll gain weight from it she just tells me to stop worrying about the scale and worry more about my measurements and how my clothes fit. It pisses me off.
I also saw a chart listing 105 as the lowest healthy weight for my height and it's so tempting. But it would be so much work. Idk if I can do it. I'll see how I feel when I reach 120, if I want to keep going or stay there. I'm really hoping to be 130 or lower by my birthday, which is May 20. I definitely want to be at or below 120 by the end of June, which is another convention. It'll be hot and I want to be confident enough to wear shorts. So I've got about 5 months to lose 30 pounds. Hopefully I can make it happen.

So I have once again eaten something that I can’t properly estimate in calories. I think I’m going to avoid anything that doesn’t have clear calorie counts from now on because this is way too stressful. We ordered takeout and I found all the ingredients of what I got on their website. Everything would be fine if it wasn’t for the fucking thai sauce. I tried to leave as much of it in the bowl as I could, but the entire dish was covered in it. So that’s why I have stopped eating at 762. I mean, I think there is absolutely no way that this whole dish was more than 600 calories(so it couldn’t break my budget), but still. I feel really uneasy now and I can’t eat anything else.
I swear, if I weigh myself the day after tomorrow and I haven’t lost any weight since two days ago, I’m going to lose my mind. Also, I am definitely starting to exercise tomorrow. I’m going to go on a long walk and burn a ton of calories so I can stop worrying about what I ate today.

"Lets Go."
this is my first ever ff...i started this book this year... i know there are spelling and grammar errors. i still haven't done a big edit. i posted this first on wattpad. so i do have more to post. hope you enjoy *X*
"Ooooo" Radishes howl wakes me from my sleep, making me jump out of bed and stumble onto the hardwood floor.
"Jesus! Radish what are you doing?" I yell out in irritation. Looking around I see the bright sun flooding my bedroom and I know exactly why he woke up me up, he needs to go out and it must be at least ten in the morning. Wow I think, I must have slept a longer the I realized. I open the door sliding door to my bedroom door and let him out.
"Hey don't you dare run off; we can't afford for anyone to see you baby." I yell out to Radish and I know he knows what I am saying, we can communicate with our thoughts because of our connection. I walk into the washroom and begin to wash my face and brush my teeth. Ugh I have to go to the store today. I think to myself as I head into the living area and open the door to let Radish come in whenever he wants. The house is just a huge open concept. As I look in the fridge and see what I have to eat and realize it is not much. So as I make breakfast I use my last two eggs and toast for breakfast.
A few hours later I pull into the parking lot of the local market, it is the smallest store I have ever seen, jeez I hope they have what I need. I really do not want to head into the town of Forks to shop, it is nearly an hour away. I step out of my all black on black 4-wheel drive 2016 Kia Sorento, the air is damp, full of water, I can feel it, I take a deep breath and smell the fragrance of pine in air. I head into the store; I see a couple of men who are standing outside the door watching me as I walk up to the entrance as one of them begins to whistle at me. Jeez, rolling my eyes at the man, as I enter the store I think these scumbags exist everywhere. I used to hate pulling up and going into gas stations and corner stores because of scumbags like these.
As I begin to walk around the I am impressed with their selection. I guess I judged the place to soon.I am so in thought that I don't notice a large person walking towards me, the sound of his voice makes me jump into the air and drop the can of peas in my hand.
"AHH!" I yell out, I look up to see the dark-haired Jacob Black smiling down at me, face full of amusement.
"Jesus, you scared me" I say to him as he stares at me trying not to bust out into laughter, this annoys me but, only for a moment.
"Ahem" He coughs back a laugh, "I didn't mean to scare you I am sorry if I did, I just didn't realize how interesting a can of peas were." He says to me with a teasing tone. He smiles as he talks to me, his eyes staring into my eyes, almost like he is trying to see me. Why does he look at me like this, I think.
"Y/n? You okay?" He asks, making me focus on to what he is saying and not his face.
"Uh yes sorry, a little embarrassed. I'm trying to see what preservatives are in here. It is for my dog." I reply. Shit, I should not have said that, his left eyebrow arches up just little hearing this.
"You have a dog? I didn't see one when I was there," he questions me. Aren't they supposed to go nuts when people come over?"
"Yeah, he was on sleeping in the house when you came by, I had given him some sleeping medicine so the move would not stress him out. I hope you didn't think I was going to be living up there alone, can't just have anyone trying to show up unannounced on me, huh?" I tease back at him.
His face begins to flush red and he begins to stutter out how that's not what he was trying to insinuate. I began to laugh and speak.
"I'm just teasing Mr. Black. I don't think that's your style." He smiles showing his perfect set of teeth.
"I'm not, so what kind of dog do you have? And she eats peas?" He sounds shook with the idea, it makes me giggle and I reply.
"He is a wolf-dog mix and yes he loves peas. I prep his meals every week, but I realized last night I was running out of food."
"So our local market has all your needs" Jacob asks you, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, I am impressed with the selection here. I was kind of expecting to have to drive to Forks to get what I need." I shift back and forth as I speak to him. His eyes have not moved away from me since we started talking.
"Ahem" I clear my throat, "Well I'm going to get going and finish up here, it was nice seeing you again." I smile at him as I turn and head down the aisle with my cart of groceries. He follows me and walks along side of me, I look up at him and he just stares and smiles at me, which makes me smile back. We get all the way to the register and the cashier begins to ring my groceries up, it is a young woman she is beautiful and as soon as she sees Jacob her face lights up.
"Jacob Black what are you doing here? How is your dad?" the young woman asks him. He answers back and talks to her as she finishes ringing me up.
"Your total is $175.27" She tells me as she begins to look at me and back at him. I pull my cash out and pay for my groceries as Jacob begins to bag them and place them back into my cart. This woman to talk to him in what I assume is their native language. It sounds beautiful, but I don't understand it. I smile at the young lady and thank her as we walk out of the store together, I can feel her eyes watching us as we walk thru the doors. I don't know why but it made me kind of happy to know she was a tad bit jealous.
We walk towards my car I no longer see the sleazebags I encountered earlier. Thank God but now I am looking for his truck and he must have seen me looking.
"I walked here, I didn't drive" he begins to explain to me. I give him a look of surprise which makes him laugh, his laugh is loud and comforting. "When you grow up on the rez you get used to it. It's pretty norm to see us walking around here. It isn't like we don't have cars; we just enjoy it." I just nod my head, but I think, I get it, growing up in the city we walked everywhere or we took the bus.
"I feel that growing up we did the same thing." I respond back to his statement. "Um, well sense you're here, want me to give you a lift?" I ask him, not sure if I should. Growing' up in The Chi makes you cautious of where you are and who is around you.
"Sure, if you don't mind, I would definitely appreciate that." Jacob grins at you, he begins to help you with the groceries and you two hop into the car.
"Wow, this car is really nice" he looks in awe of all the gadgets in the car, it makes me smile and realize how lucky you are.
"Thanks, I just bought it a year ago, I really wanted to get a new 4-wheel drive before I moved up here." I explain to him as I pull out of the markets parking lot.
"You will definitely need it up here during the cold season, it gets really cold and we get a lot on snow and slush." He tells me, just then my stomach rumbles loudly with hunger and I get all red.
"I am sorry, that's embarrassing. I haven't eaten since breakfast and I get hungry quick." I explain my face turning red. He chuckles under his breath.
"It's okay, there's actually a diner close by do you want to grab something really quick?  Jacob points up the road and I see a little diner and I immediately pull into right lane and answer him.
"Yes, if you don't mind. I really need to eat." I say hungrily.
As I pull into the parking lot, I see a small mom and pop joint, this place is going to be bomb. We hop out of the car and he is like a skyscraper standing next to me, good lord he is tall. He opens the door for me and we walk into an empty diner and we pick a both furthest from the door. A  copper toned-skinned woman walks over in dark jeans and work shirt.
"What can I get the both of you?" she asks the both of us. "Oh, hey Jacob" she greets him realizing who he is, she then looks at me curiously.
"Sara, this is y/n she just moved here. She lives right outside the rez," Jacob explains to her who I am. After a couple moments, Sara takes our order and brings us our drinks and we thank her.
"So, does everybody know everybody around here?" I ask teasingly,
"Pretty much, we are a family, a tribe. We take care of each other, look out for each other. Most of us all grew up together. Stereotypical, but it's true" he tells you. "So, what do you do y/n? What brings you here?" Jacob begins to question me; I can see that he is concentrating on me. I take a deep breath and speak.
"Well, I went to UC,  I am an accountant for a company and it pays well, and they have great benefits. So, it's a good job." I look up at him and watch him, "As for moving here, I guess you can say I needed to get away and we found this place, so now me and Radish are here."
His eyes light up at Radishes name, "Ahem. Who is Radish?" His voice sounds curious. My mouth curls into a smile.
"Radish is my dog, my baby boy."
"Oh, maybe one of these days I can meet him," He chuckles at me, "UC? University of?" He asks me.
"University of Chicago. Chicago, my stomping grounds." I explain to him, he tilts his head to the right slightly. He wasn't expecting that. "Roseland, I lived there with my moms until she passed away and then I moved in with my father." As I talk he is absorbing all the information I give him, and he seems so damn interested.As I am about to speak Sara interrupts us causing our heads to turn to her.
"Hey, you two here is your food" She announces as she places our dishes in front of us. "Enjoy" she says as she walks away.
I look down at my food and realize how hungry I am as I take my first bite. I love pancakes and these are delicious. I look over and see my omelet and dig in. The cheese and ham, mmhm, this is so good. I love food and this place is about a half hour away from me, I wonder if they do take out, I have to have to ask.
I am so zoned into eating that I completely forget that Jacob Black is sitting across from me and now he is watching me with his dark brown eyes. He has a slight smirk on his lips and you don't notice that you are amusing him. You finally look up and notice him watching you, he quickly looks down and takes a bite out of his eggs. You turn a little red, embarrassed. Why does he keep staring at me? His eyes are warm, but intense as if he is staring right into my soul.
"Ahm, I get excited when I eat good food. I love food, to cook, eat, everything" I laugh nervously. Why do I sound so dumb? I need to slow down and not try to look like a ravenous dog.
"It's okay, I am always eating, my best friend always teases me because of it." he says cheekily. We continue to eat.
I finally put my fork down, I cannot eat any more, I sit back and now I am the one in awe of how fast and how much he is eating. He can throw down, he has eaten two plates of pancakes six sausage links, almost a plate of scrambled eggs and two bowls of oatmeal. He looks up at me and begins to talk.
"So, you moved here from the big city, huh? I think that's cool. Big cities are tempting and a lot of people travel to live there." He takes a big gulp of his orange juice. "Fortunately, I will never move, this place is home and I have a duty to my people here. You are lucky you will be able experience both, I hope you enjoy it here."
"No one has ever explained it like that, but I definitely dig it. Thanks Jacob Black" I nod my heads looking at him with admiration.
"Do you mind if I use the washroom real quick?" I ask him as I get up, he nods his head. I turn into the washroom and straighten myself out. I look at myself, black oversized hoodie and black leggings with black sneakers. I'm not skinny, thick is what my cousin has always called it, but either way, I know I look good. My mom used to tease me how I always made sure my outfits were fire. Her fashion model. I do one more up and down in the mirror and head out. I look towards the booth we were at and I don't see Jacob sitting there. Suddenly, I hear a whistle behind me and see him smiling at me.
"Come on! I have our to-go boxes already." He tells me as I head towards him and the front door. He opens the front door, and we walk towards my door.
"Fuck! My groceries!" I hurry to my Kia realizing I really forgot my groceries in the car. I open the trunk of my car and realize the cold air has help keep my groceries stay cool. "Oh, thank God." I am seriously am I fat ass, food gets me every time.
"HAHAHA" Jacobs booming laugh makes me look back at him, I look up at him an arch eyebrow giving me an annoyed look on my face.
"You were so hungry that you immediately forgot about the food in your car? That is funny y/n. Come on, is it cool if show you a place? I promise your groceries will be okay." Jacob asks me, his eyes staring into me, his eyes excited almost like a child on Christmas morning. His eyes are deep, and I can see the plead in his eyes.
"Okay" I mutter out a whisper, I cannot disappoint him. He is too excited for me too and I just want to be by him. "Lets go."

1 - Are you a fan of garlic bread? Do you eat it on its own or as part of a bigger meal? Yesss. I typically have it with spaghetti. 
2 - When was the last time your area was under some kind of weather warning? Did it end up being as bad as predicted? The closest thing was back during the summer when California was having really unhealthy air quality due to all the wildfires. 
3 - Do you ever buy things from charity/thrift shops? What was the last thing you bought from there? No.
4 - The last time you got fast food, did you eat in, takeaway or go through the drive-thru? My family and I get takeout often. We do drive-thru as well. Haven’t gone out to eat in awhile cause COVID, but even before then I prefer just getting food to eat at home.
5 - If you have multiple pets, do they get along with each other? I just have my one doggo. 
6 - Do you ever buy things off eBay? If you do, do you participate in auctions or do you just use the “buy it now” option? I’ve bought a few things, but I’ve never bid on anything.
7 - When you go out, do you worry that you’ve forgotten to lock the door or turn something off? I used to worry about that all the time when I was coming and going on my own everyday in college. I don’t go anywhere alone now, so it’s not a worry of mine anymore.
8 - What fruits and vegetables have you eaten so far today? Do you tend to get your “five a day”? Zero. Ha, noooo. Not even a little bit. I haven’t had any fruit in a few years to be completely honest. :X I eat spinach fairly often with my eggs, as well as green onions. And I love potatoes. But yeah, definitely not getting the recommended amount of fruits or veggies. 
9 - When was the last time you were in pain? What caused it and did you manage to get it sorted in the end? I have chronic back pain and get other pains as well. I’m on a pain regimen that helps, but there are days where I’m having a really bad flare up and my pain med doesn’t really help. 
10 - Do you live in an area that gets lots of snow? Do you like it? If not, would you like to live somewhere that gets that cold? It doesn’t snow where I live. I wish it did. I would totally love to live somewhere that snowed. 
11 - What was the reason for your last doctor/hospital visit? My month pain doctor appointment.
12 - If someone had told you that 2020 would see a global pandemic, countries going into lockdown, compulsory face masks and millions of deaths, would you have ever believed that you’d live through something like that? That would sound so unbelievable. I would be like no way, that would never happen. I definitely never thought we’d ever experience something like this. Learning about the plagues that happened in the past always sounded so horrifying and I was always like, we’ve come a long way since then that wouldn’t happen today. Welp...
13 - Do you prefer having the blinds/curtains open or closed when you’re at home? Does it depend on the weather or the time of day? I keep ‘em closed. 
14 - Do you use an ad-blocker on your computer or phone? Why/why not? Yeah, Macs come with that built in. I’ve never had that issue on my phone, so I guess they come with that as well?
15 - Do you still use a paper diary/planner to organise your appointments and schedules? No, I use the notes, reminders, and calendar apps on my phone for that kind of stuff.
16 - When was the last time you charged one of your electronic items? Do you have to charge that specific item often? I just finished charging my Beats wireless earphones. 
17 - Have you ever thrown or broken something in a temper? No.
18 - What does your outfit look like today? Did you pick it out for a special reason? I’m wearing gray leggings and a new Linkin Park shirt I got for Christmas. It’s for their 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory. 
19 - Do you follow any vlogs or podcasts? What is it about them that interests you? I’m subscribed to a few vloggers. 
20 - Aside from Tumblr, what websites do you spend the most time on? Do you go through phases of visiting certain websites? YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. Those, as well as Tumblr are my staples that I check all the time. There was a time where I was like obsessed with Pinterest for awhile, but I haven’t been on there in a few months. 
21 - Do you have a good relationship with your siblings? If you don’t have siblings, what about your cousins or extended family? Yeah. My younger brother and I are very close. My older brother and I don’t have a bad relationship or anything, it’s just different. 
22 - When was the last time you were up early enough to see the sunrise? I’m always up past the sunrise.
23 - What movie series did you last watch from start to finish? Was it one you’d seen before? I think it may have been Star Wars. I’ve seen them all. The Marvel movies are a close second. 
24 - Do you still enjoy watching children’s TV programmes? What was the last one you watched? I still watch Doug, Hey Arnold, and Rugrats sometimes.
25 - Who was the last person to tag you in something on social media? How do you know that person? She’s my mom.
26 - What was the last thing you took a photograph of? It was a selfie on Snapchat. 
27 - Are you a fan of giving animals human names? Yeah. My previous doggo was named Brandie. My doggo now is Leia. Princess Leia to be exact. My first two dogs had more typical dog names, though, such as Buster and Scruffy.
28 - When was the last time you weighed yourself? Were you happy with what the scale said? It’s been a few years. I’m too underweight. 
29 - How often do you buy yourself new clothes? What was the last clothing item you bought for yourself? Somewhat often. Boxlunch and Hot Topic get me with their cute stuff and sales. I gotta stop, I don’t have any more room for clothes. And I don’t go anywhere, I don’t need that much clothes lol.
30 - What is the reason behind your mood today? Is this something you could have done something about? I’ve only been up for a couple hours, so I’m just drinking my coffee and waking up still, ha. I take time.
