When you want to dress more masc but you get dysphoric if you dress too “civilized” because you’re so connected to nature that deviating from looking like a creature 24/7 feels wrong; so half of men’s clothing options are not your style at all.

#I am not a gentleman; I am not a lumberjack; I am not even cottagecore #I am a spectral figure. I am the weeds growing in the cracks of the sidewalk. I am a wild animal #I used to solely dress in fancy clothes in middle—early high school #Because I wasn’t going to meetings and I felt guilty for never wearing all the fancy dresses I had #I wore them to school so I wouldn’t feel like I was wasting them #But as an adult I feel weird and extremely out of place in anything other than neutral and very rough cotton and wool #I like to feel like I can go anywhere and be prepared for anything in my clothes and formalwear just doesn’t make me feel like that #First and foremost for its lack of pockets #Secondly for the fit being restrictive #Thirdly for the fabric not being as durable
