Well, while we're here, here's that pic of my cat (He's giving me that Look bc I had just sneezed, so I'm adding 2 other examples 😭 You'll never find a cat happier to use a tissue box & bag of skittles as a bed)

But every day my mom gets home and he's like ^____^💞💕💞💕 Whee!!! Yippee!!! And either curls up next to her or against her purse, if she's too hot for a cat-furnace gluing itself to her or in a lot of pain, and it's very cute the way he's just So Content when she gets home, even if that's to be near things that smell like her & not on her lap

#photo #erin talks #he Is like this with me when I wake up or am gone longer than 5 hrs #I am just 👍🏻 disabled 👍🏻 so that doesn't happen often anymore #he's v v sweet; I don't think I've had a more affectionate cat #ofc energetic kittens are cute & fun but I love when your cat gets to 6-12 #& their affection for you gets a little more mellow & you get that quiet companionship #I think that like you can't get to that point without years of doing right by your pet #& providing them with unconditional love and safety... so getting that mellow love of an older cat is a point of pride to me
