#crunchchute art #my art #sam and max #sam & max #i hope it will be viewable as i dont know how much tumblr will crunch it #in any case i have it up on twitter also and it seems to be in good quality there #it looks like a 'the 7 human souls:' meme hfhdhf #hey i can put more thoughts in the tags right? so first i didnt really put enough effort into my own one and i kinda realized my style #is kinda mid ngl. cause im lazy + this coloring style might not really fit them. anyway.#for sootnukis style i adore the rendering of the clothing folds and stuff but i couldnt get it just right it remains a mystery to me #silcrow i tried to do a traditional drawing but kinda messed up some of the coloring especially on the pants #also couldnt figure out if its just markers or markers + pencils or what. so i kinda did my own take of 90% markers 10% pencils #mtsodie i love the color palettes and the shapes so that was a lot of fun to try; i like the outcome #narnour i absolutely love the tiny little eyes and how goofy and round they look so that was fun to try to replicate too #as well as the colors which i mostly color picked cause i couldnt get a red overlay right #zembo was a nice way to revisit a chalky brush that i havent used in ages not sure if i got it right though #applettoast i feel like theres some gorillaz influence or its at least something i used while coloring. as you might know i used to draw #gorillaz a lot and tried to replicate the coloring etc. and i think it fit here. correct me if im wrong lol #snuckeys was also hella fun cause i love the cartooniness and the details like the teeth showing gums and stuff. hope i did it justice #also the eyes! i love the big highlight and that the eyes are brown its cute #it was nice to branch out for a bit

I like to think papyrus is serious and can become angry when he wants to be, but he’s such a nice and genuine sweet character he wouldn’t want to show that to the character or others.

Being authentic and true to yourself is the only way you are 'supposed to be/act like' (insert entity). If anyone else disagrees it only tells you about them.

#going to start a small 'series' where I document stuff I learn that is otherkin specific. This is for myself as well as anyone who might #be struggling with things I used to/am working on(otherkin specific). hopefully this will reduce any mental pitfalls other otherkin may #fall into as they explore their identity and help out someone.#this 'rule' took a LONG time to fully understand and grasp. for the longest time I would consciously or subconsciously #think I was less Loki if I did or was something 'Loki would never do. until i realized I do exactly and experience exactly what Loki does #and experiences because...Im literally Loki. (talking about incarnations here). Do you think Saix' emotional co-dependence started as a Nobody or did it start as human Isa and just grew to an unhealthy degree?

I actually really like robby and tory together even though I initially thought I wouldn’t, but their relationship is pretty unhealthy. the reason robby is so unbalanced without tory is because she is maybe the only person in his life who truly loves him and believes in him. so when he loses that, it only highlights the absence of it in the rest of his life and unravels every other aspect of his life and the relationships within it. and i just know that we are likely going to be forced to watch miguel and johnny give him “tough love” when he inevitably underperforms in the tournament—and im sure it will work—but it will also be unsatisfying as a viewer because robby doesn’t need tough love, he just needs actual love. he needs to be prioritized by the adults around him and supported unconditionally, even when he fails.

#robby is far too dependent on tory as a source of happiness and stability in his life #and tory is far too emotionally distant and unable to communicate healthily or rely on anyone other than herself #i hope they work things out and get back together but morr than that i hope the adults in their lives step in and provide the comfort they #are trying to find in each other #because at the end of the day they are both just kids and are trying to use each other for support that is too much for another kid to #provide #like i hope im wrong and we see at least johnny try and be there for robby but i also have so little faith in this show with regard to thei #and johnny has not exactly proven to be competent when it comes to parenting robby so #cobra kai #robby keene #ck spoilers #not really as its a prediction but. just in case #relationship

ngl im fucking terrified of how the fandom will act when the asian ccs get added and they are confronted with asian customs such as honorifics, asian cultural norms, and the language itself (ie words that are common in one language that sounds like a slur in another) and i know most of the fandom will be open and welcoming but idk im probably being way too pessimistic as someone who is asian and has seen the bs that people can spew esp regarding things like stereotypes

I actually find it really bizarre and counter intuitive that clinically speaking, you cannot legally be diagnosed with a personality disorder until you're at least 18. The reason given for this is because "the personality has not fully developed before this age" like ???

Ah yes, my favorite strategy. Not diagnosing the problem until it's already been virtually cemented into your brain for life! Wouldn't it be easier (and more painless) to address the problem before it's fully developed?

#im also certain that the age that personality fully forms at is not a universally agreed upon number #like idk. maybe this raises less questions about age and more about the potential consequences of pathologizing personalities #it feels a little fucked up to me that some mental illness are 'just' mental illnesses while others are deemed a thing synonymous with you #and i can understand if some people with personality disorders do really heavily identify with their disorders #thats fine!#i also think the average person has a concept of personality which is relatively stagnant and thats just not realistic tbh #i mean if you think personality is stagnant then yours probably is so in rhat sense youre not wrong #but personality can absolutely change and i dont think it makes you a 'different person'#i think its a natural progression #anyways. got a little derailed but the point im trying to make is #lets find a way to give people with personality disorders a more realistic hope for recovery without invalidating them #and also lets maybe try to treat personality disorders preemptively so they don't get worse

Changed Goob's design a bit more as I came up with some self indulgent headcanons for him (I added a poll to see if anyone cares abt my ideas in the slightest ahem ahem I wanna rant ahem) but I couldn't think of anything to add to Scraps, if anyone has any ideas for me I'd be delighted to hear them and possibly steal from u /silly

I'm glad a lot of people liked my last post- it's surprising the first Dandy's World post I make within a week becomes my top post, I hope this one also gets some love since I spent a lot of time working on the Goobert and his silly sister, I hope you enjoy :]
