I still keep mulling over this image in my head of Mohg showing off his wings to Miquella. Kneeling down and letting him climb up onto his back, and then taking off.

Clinging to the back of Mohg's golden mantle as he soars through the vast underground where the Mohgwyn Palace resides...

I'm sure there's a metaphor to be had; between Mohg stretching his wings and taking flight; a bird basking in freedom - and sharing this moment of bliss in some small hopes of connecting with Miquella - and Miquella himself who's the bird that's being kept caged...

A longing to return to the Haligtree... A longing to see his sister Malenia... His desire for freedom runs strong. As does his pity toward his captor.

The contrasting feeling between 'I want to go home' and 'I want to help this deeply troubled omen'.

As the Lord of Blood takes flight, Miquella settles, resting his head on Mohg's back...

Hmm it’s that time again when I’ve been somewhere for too long and when I go out on a drive to do errands I get the urge to just keep driving and not come back

#every couple years I just get the urge to uproot and leave and if it wasn’t for the fact that I have obligations to people and animals and #that I need money to live I would just drive off for a few days the urge is so strong it’s like an itch that won’t go away #it’s this roaming feeling that tells me I must move on somewhere else I wish I had money to fufill it #it’s like a rush the feeling when you just want to go fast forever and not think just go it’s like the feeling from those flying dreams #where the wind is beneath you and you can go on forever heart racing free #but then I have to pull myself back down to earth and say no you can’t do that you have things here you cannot just leave #this usually happens on days we’re it’s bright and clear out it makes me restless
