patroklos! reading the iliad, i thought it would be interesting if him and achilles looked similar when he lets his hair down. with achilles’ armour and some distance, their silhouettes are identical. homer plays with ideas of identity/ selfhood using the two characters. i wanted them to mimic eachother on a physical level. alter ego, second self, body double.
