Just wanted to say reading about your rimworld colony has inspired me to start drawing my own rimworld colonists! Thanks for that. Sometimes you just gotta see someone else doing it to inspire you to finally do it. Or something. Idk i'm bad at words rn (half asleep)

P.S. got any stories or headcanons about Hezrov? She looks so cool and i love how you draw her!

I'm so happy to have inspired you with my colony! Any day someone can get in the right mood to draw their Rimworld pawns is a good day, I think. Make sure to let me know if you ever post your Rimworld art somewhere! I can never get enough of it.

As for Hazrov, well! She's so cool, isn't she?? I love watching her as she goes about her business around the colony. She always seems so edgy.

Her childhood backstory is "Child of the Anima Tree" from Vanilla Backstories Expanded, and I like to imagine her connection with the mystery-magic-psychic tree is what gave her the 'psychically hypersensitive' trait as an adult. I also like to think she's an excellent climber because she spent her youth climbing about in the Anima Tree near her tribe.

If she was anything like the crazy tree-climbing children I know in real life, she was probably an absolute menace, and I love her for it.

Another fun fact about Hazrov is that her favourite way to relax is in the hot tub, and that seems to be where I always find her when she's not out hunting or helping with construction projects.

When she was first recruited, Hazrov wore a skull mask that was shaped like a humanoid skull, and that's what I usually draw her wearing. However, a little while after she joined my colony, I noticed it had changed to a deer skull. I'm not sure why, but I wonder if it has to do with the 'animist' style that her new ideology required? I've never had colonists' clothes do that before, though, so I'm not sure. I still draw her with the human skull because it's easier, and I like it better anyway.

Hazrov's closest friend in Eureka is my T'au colonist, Candlelight. The two of them share a bedroom, and I think it's very cute. There's nothing quite like being able to throw slumber parties with your bestie every single night!
