Edit: I do not hate Christmas, I just think it should save its Ho Ho Ho's til after Thanksgiving.
#my problem is:#christmas ALREADY gets more “socially accepted” time than Halloween#you have christmas in july as just some randomly accepted real thing??#the Christmas carols start playing on the radio in october#it's absolutely absurd#Halloween doesn't shove 80 albums down your retail throat every year#then Dec. 1 basically starts all Christmas all the time in terms of a performer's schedule#I cannot tell you the number of Christmas performances I have each year#it's insane#like please do I HAVE to sing ANOTHER rendition of Jingle Bells? it's been 30 times already#and now apparently it's totally fine for Christmas stuff to be out in August?#please go away you were already here last month. leave spooky season alone 😒
