To preface, I don't condone s*ssr*n, I dont really like what it implies for the series.

In that vein, not to sound like the shippers but for real if you don't like Yashahime or it makes uncomfortable do not stream it. This isn't like a hot take but don't give crunchyroll or funimation clicks. You watching any of it means they're making money :) so they win, they don't care if you hate it or not they just care about dolla bills.

If for whatever reason u still wanna watch it even tho it pisses you off or whatever, pirate it. Don't give your money or clicks to streaming services for a series you don't even like.

Also holy fuck, leave voice actors alone they have nothing to do with the story

I remember months ago Satsuki Yukino (Kagome's seiyuu) talked about recording with Shippo's seiyuu so I'm pretty sure he's gonna show up for a least one scene... It’s funny because there was a survey recorded about different age groups that watch yashamine in Japan and it’s mostly older adults not children. I know an anti posted about it but it showed that young kids are not even watching yashamine. That the age group is mostly 20s to 30s, which is why there are many critics of the show.

I don’t know how accurate I would find an online poll like that when the other target age-range is 8-14 y/o’s who probably aren’t spending a lot of time voting in Twitter polls, but maybe I’m wrong? (Wait, was it even a Twitter poll?)

The other reason I never take polls relating to Yashahime seriously is because sessrin shippers have been caught red-handed rigging polls before, and in their desperate attempts to try to make that terrible show relevant they are constantly flooding onto every poll it shows up on equipped with their bots and sock puppet accounts to try to make it look like hny is more popular then it actually is (which makes it doubly funny when Yashahime still shows poorly in the rankings lmao).
