Gilbert's mom passed away in the garage after working in the poorly ventilated kitchen of their bakery.

With his new found freedom, he schmoozes all the ladies in Sim City. Ophelia seems super impressed with Cordelia's singing.

Rosie hates potty training. She fights it every time even if I try my best to make sure she's in a good mood and buddies with Florence beforehand.

I sent her out to get groceries and look who is already here... I was going to try to get her and Gilbert broken up with first, but the opportunity jumped into my lap.

Meanwhile, Gilbert decided to get to know the friend he brought home from work.

Patrizio is also here to keep an eye on his grandchild Beatrice, who is on stage. He takes the opportunity to get to know Gilbert Jacquet.

I wondered if I gave Gilbert Jacquet a makeover, he'd stop irritating the hell out of me.

And that is when I noticed that for some reason he has blond eyebrows with his black hair. Changing his eyebrows to black actually helps a lot -- he no longer gives off a weird "something ain't right" vibe. In looks, that is. Also I gave him blue contacts because the green eyes made him look a bit like a cut-rate Don Lothario (whom I like.) In personality, well... I decided what the hell, let's lean into the smarm.

Now I find him more amusing and less blech. He gives me the vibes or a character in a murder mystery on a cruise ship who irritates everyone by hitting on women in an annoying but not threatening way and boasting about how he's some kind of aristocrat or businessman (or techbro these days), and is actually an accountant or something. Then he ends up being falsely accused of the murder and the detective has to prove his innocence, and the reader ends up feeling sorry for him because he's so pathetic.

Florence Delarosa's business is booming. On top of that she met someone she likes but who it is will remain a secret for now. 😊

Gilbert Jacquet had an outing with his friends downtown. 💙💚

Cynthia Kim is busy making important connections in Belladonna Cove's high society. She brought Nylissit Tricou home with her and then suddenly got hit by a lightning. 😳 (What's funny is that I saw Nylissit gossipping about it all over the place. Sometimes the game tells the story without me having to do anything. The sims behave as they should. 😅)

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Castor Nova and Chastity Gere seem to like each other. They got closer and now they are in love. None of the them wants to marry yet and I won't push them. At the moment they just enjoy spending time with each other.

Jules O'Mackey and David Ottomas just graduated college and decided to move in together. They were a couple since their teens and I am just waiting for them to roll the want to get married. 😅

Samantha Ottomas had a little makeover and is ready to reconcile with her husband Peter. We'll see how that goes.. 🙄

Jacquet [2] - Part 1/2

Gilbert Jacquet and Lilith Pleasant are like those two people who are destined to be together but they're too cool to admit it. I mean, they have been together; they have a FWB thing happening. They're 3 bolters, what can I say?

Lilith earned over 2000 simoleons her second day of playing guitar. Only 18000 to go before she reaches her LTW!

While out on a date with Gilbert, he gets hit on by a townie. Lilith was not amused. Lilith also came on a little strong and Gilbert kindly told her to back up. He really wanted to play darts!

Towards the end of the night, Gil and Lil headed back to her place for a night cap. Gilbert left shortly after, saying the TV was too loud. Lilith also thought he should leave, to be honest.

Lilith spends time blogging in the morning before heading out to busk it up. She's working on getting her name out there by promoting her music on social media.

Juliette stops by to cheer her BFF on. They were fast friends in university and became BFFs the years afterward. I think they bonded over getting beat up by Mercutio and Tybalt 😣

Lilith wanted to go on a 1st date, and she has 2 strong bolts with Romeo. Yes, this breaks the girl code, but it doesn't seem like Romeo got the memo it was a date as he turned down every advance from Lilith. Come to find out, he had a want to marry Juliette! Maybe he's just been looking for the right time to propose?

It worked out as later that night, Romeo asked Lilith to join him downtown for an outing with his parents, brother, and friends. I'm not sure who this townie is, but he let out a huge fart.

Dammit, Juliette, stop!! You two are driving me crazy! You are going steady with Dirk Dreamer!! You have got to get it together, please! 😭 This was again autonomous, and I think her third time trying. She's a lost cause. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ Let Romeo propose in his own time or never!
