Hello! I was wondering if you've ever done animations? I feel like your style would be so awesome as an animation and your art kinda reminds me of the independent animator Georges Schwizgebel!

I haven’t done much animation at all, and nothing fully rendered, but I did check out Georges Schwizgebel’s work and it looks amazing, maybe I’ll try it out at some point when I figure out how it works on CSP

Hello!! Look at this dog!!

This animation is based on a bunch of animators that I looked into, from Yoji Kuri to Norman McLaren! I was interested in the freeing movement that came with a lot of their works, so I went into this little project with less planning than I normally would. There's also a list of all the creators I looked into for this mini project, branching out from my main inspiration, Georges Schwizgebel. It was very freeing and exciting to just go all in without as much meticulous planning, so I'm definitely going to further explore this method! :^)

favorite medium? and also what are some things that inspire you?

Oil paint (particularly with something fast ing like a galkyd medium), the color mixing and versatility is wonderful + I don't have to worry about things drying on my brushes / palette. Charcoal is amazing for quick expressive marking and a command over light. Haven't used it much in a while because it's somehow messier than oils

Also use a lot of mechanical pencil + grease pencil 🌞
