Rainy WAS one of my closest partners.. we thought we could trust them... But things took a dark turn when...

Rainy.. Decided to not draw Gavin from vvr2 in a jar...

This was a horrible turn of events.. Gavin NEEDS his jar... without it? He's just a sad old man. We need Gavin to be a sad old man, but in a jar. My reasoning for this is:

In recent studies, it is shown Gavin when introduced to new things in his enclosure, will show stress and irritate him. He will show anger, thus, we must put him in the jar (it will make sure his surroundings stay the same, no matter what)

Point 2, he is very happy in jar. Watch him frolick in his jar, you can even slowly introduce small things, like a chaz mech plushie

Point 3, Gavin sized jars are the perfect size for him because they are the they fit him. He is tiny in the chaz mech and tiny in a jar. Watch him build his own home and thrive!!

But rainy wants Gavin to be in a stressful environment with no enrichment. Rainy is bad.!!!!

- 1:00-1:29 - Witch

The butler hands me a letter as he speaks. I break the wax seal on the letter, and the crimson handwriting catches my eye — “Werewolf”.

Butler: Once all the guests have arrived, you need to conceal your identity as the host and choose one guest each night to be thrown into the pool—

I sit down with an uneasy expression, my heart filled with doubts.

Before coming to the banquet hall, Lucien and I went to see the crime scene.

To my shock, Brother Genius, who was dead by the door last night, is now found inside the room.

The butler claims that Brother Genius fell victim to a werewolf last night, but this is clearly not the truth.

...Could it be that he really exploited some loophole in the game, and the game's rules tacitly allowed his actions?

Just when I am puzzled and unable to figure it out, someone nearby breaks the silence.

Red Nose: It's almost time to vote. Why is no one talking? I'll go first.

A guy wearing a clown nose accessory anxiously taps the dinner plate with a spoon.

Red Nose: Could it be that the wolf targeted "Brother Genius" because he exposed his identity as an outsider…

The middle-aged man sitting at the head of the table hears this and slowly shakes his head.

Uncle: "A gentleman does not deceive in the dark." I suggest we all play openly; that would make the game much simpler…

[T/N: basically, the uncle would rather have everyone reveal the role, while the red-nosed guy is afraid that if anyone reveals their role, they will get targeted. Hmm, I wonder why-]

The two begin to discuss it heatedly, and soon, Red Nose's increasingly sharp voice turns it into a one-sided argument.

Watching the human faction fall into disarray, I wish they would argue even more fiercely. However, when I look up, I see Lucien's thoughtful expression.

Lucien: Based on your discussion, I believe that Brother Genius's death is not the worst situation.

Lucien: Please don't forget that his identity was that of an outsider, and the seer is still among us.

Red Nose: So what, are you suggesting that the seer should reveal themselves like you?

Red Nose: Seer, I don't know who you are, but if you didn't identify a werewolf last night, don't reveal your identity!

Facing Red Nose's targeting, Lucien merely shows a gentle smile.

Lucien: I can't control the seer's actions, but since we currently lack sufficient clues, I have a suggestion for everyone to consider.

Lucien: Tonight, I hope the seer can verify the identity of whoever is willing to prove themselves first.

Every banquet is an encounter.

Whoever is willing to prove themselves first...?

What does that mean? I pause slightly and then hear the uncle burst into hearty laughter.

Uncle: Good! Great idea. With so many people present, the seer does indeed need some "hints!"

Lucien: So, who is willing to be verified by the seer tonight?

Lucien's lips curve into a relaxed smile as if he is merely making a casual suggestion.

However, alarm bells go off in my mind, and the fork in my hand unconsciously scrapes the plate twice.

Could he really just be signaling the seer hidden in the crowd to start working? No, based on what I know about Lucien, there's definitely more to it than that…

I instinctively want to stay silent; we still don't know who the seer is. What if I'm the only one who raises their hand, and the seer really investigates me? But…

My heart is beating faster and faster, and my mind is whirling.

Until an almost terrifying thought suddenly flashes through my mind, exploding within me.

——Could Lucien be setting up a trap? This trap targets not only the wolves but also the humans.

If I think outside the perspective of a wolf and view it from a human's standpoint, only the wolves wouldn't want to be verified by the seer...

With this thought, I impulsively raise my hand, cold sweat running down my back.

Whatever, I'll take the gamble!

MC: I am human. If the seer doesn't have a suitable candidate, they can verify me tonight.

It seems my action also encouraged others, and soon, more people raised their hands.

As the first to raise my hand, I openly look at their faces, only to notice that the uncle is also observing in secret.

He was so supportive of Lucien's suggestion, yet he didn't raise his hand... Doesn't he want to prove his identity first?

As I ponder this, Red Nose suddenly stands up from his seat and almost shouts from his throat.

Red Nose: Stop doing foolish things! How can you be manipulated by a few fancy words and consider exposing yourself?

Exposing...? In a flash, I suddenly realize Lucien's trap for the humans—the seer, who isn't good at scheming, risks being exposed because of this!

Unfortunately, such shallow and aggressive rhetoric would only enlighten someone with ulterior motives like me. Who else would want to listen?

Joker: Ridiculous.

Leaning against the wall, Joker speaks coldly, casting a glance at everyone present as if looking at a group of monkeys in a zoo.

Finally, his gaze falls on Red Nose.

Joker: Your stupidity makes you useless in information sharing, only capable of creating arguments and stirring emotions.

Joker: Even if you are not a wolf, your voice is redundant for the human faction.

After speaking, Joker ignores the discussions and Red Nose's curses that follow, crossing his arms and closing his eyes as if to sleep.

.......even though the situation is favorable to me, I still feel that he is more of a "shit-stirrer" than the werewolves.

The interruption leaves everyone a little unsure for a moment, and Lucien takes the opportunity to speak up.

Lucien: In deduction and confrontation games, good people always hope to prove their innocence regardless of skill level.

Lucien: Therefore, those who actively seek to have a voice are naturally more eager to prove their identity first, thus leading the direction of the voting.

The cold, shimmering light blurs his expression, drawing more attention to his firm words.

Lucien: Actively seizing the right to speak while not wanting to be checked... If there is still no reasonable explanation, then it's very likely a wolf trying to confuse the humans.

Immediately, everyone’s hands shot up in unison as if driven by a death warrant.

I watch as Lucien steers the situation, effortlessly controlling everyone's emotions, making me feel both proud and nervous.

Then, everyone's eyes converged on the one person who had yet to raise their hand.

Red Nose breathes heavily, his bloodshot eyes glaring fiercely at Lucien, his face full of unwilling rage.

Red Nose: If you're going to vote, then vote!

As expected, Red Nose is unanimously voted out. The attendants take him to the edge of the banquet hall's pool and push him in.

Like the empty stomach of a giant monster finally capturing its nutrients, the calm water surface surges and engulfs his body violently, a striking crimson color spreading across the water.

The pool becomes very bright instantly, but just as quickly, it calms down again. The vivid red water reverts to a pale aquamarine, just as it was before.

Obviously, such a display in the game doesn't relax anyone. People start to leave one after another, unwilling to stay any longer.

I walk to the edge of the long table and turn back to take another look at the uncle, who remains in place.

He sits at the table enjoying his dessert, his brow relaxed, and he seems much more at ease than before the luncheon.

I go over his behavior today in my mind, and an answer becomes apparent to me.

Lucien: [gently] Are you feeling better?

Lucien walks toward me, naturally taking my hand, and I instinctively avert my gaze from the uncle.

MC: Hmm, much better~ Maybe because I ate something, I feel more energized!

My palms are still sweaty from the luncheon, and although I let Lucien hold my fingertips, I never dared to fully open my hand and interlock fingers with him.

Lucien's long fingers gently squeeze my fingertips, seemingly unaware of my little thoughts.

It's just that the time he spends gazing at my face seems... a bit longer?

Lucien: But your complexion is still a bit pale. Have some more sugar.

Lucien picks up a glass of juice from the table and hands it to me. I happily take it and drink a sip, then immediately frown.

...Why does it taste so strange? It's not good at all.

Lucien: Don't like it?

MC: ...No, of course I like anything Professor Lucien gives me!

As soon as the words leave my mouth, I feel a bit regretful. There was no need to explain something so trivial; I'm being overly cautious…

Lucien just smiles slightly, his eyes as gentle and profound as always.

But perhaps due to the mindset of a werewolf, I have the feeling that he is subtly punishing me for lying.

...With him by my side, I have to be even more careful with every move I make.

[When she doesn't answer last night, he understands why. He understands her choice, hesitation, and pain. So, he still comforts her with so much care. However, he can't help but still feel a bit wronged that MC doesn't trust him enough to tell him the truth and chooses to endure everything alone, so that not-so-palatable drink was his small retaliation.... this fox can be a bit petty sometimes skskks]

What would you think VVR3 would be about?

Like I'd be happy with whatever they do but the jump from VVR1 to VVR2 is very dramatic comparatively.

Something I'm thinking of is the fact that Virtual Virtual Reality is a bit of a critisism of capitalism, so maybe a single corperation has taken over a bunch of metaverses and has made humans and AI finally equals, by making them all slaves to the megacorperation.

To everyone outside, in meatspace, things will seem the same, but it turns out that since no one reads the terms of service they don't realize that they're all volenteering to do virtual labor on behalf of the corperation forever.

You could play as a glitched upload, and you get sent to HQ to be "fixed" but your transport there is stopped by a bunch of "freedom fighters" we might even get to see Gavin/Marty again as part of their ranks. Their goal being that they want to bring down the megacorperation somehow, maybe by severing the connection between the metaverses, maybe by sending a message out to meatspace, maybe your glitched upload is exactly what they mean because they intend to merge you with upper management and your glitch will cause the entire system to shut down.

Either way you make your way through the game, the various levels being various metaverses, you could visit the remains of activitude, the ruins of scottsdale, and several more, maybe one devoted entirely to cars, another being what was suppose to be a retirement metaverse but got turned into a work camp, a third one that was suppose to be used as a virtual travel hub being turned into a giant droid factory of bots that want to get in your way, idk i'm making this up on the fly but regardless you eventually make your way to HQ, only to discover that you're a glitched upload sure, but a glitched upload that was meant to be a backup for the human CEO of the megacorperation.

They wax poetic about how humans and AI were once at odds, how humans were seen as inferior to AI for so many years and that they were the ones who fixed that. They'll talk about all the good they've done, making the world a better place, giving purpose to the humans and AI who were just squandering their eternity. And then we could have some sort of bossbattle between yourself and the CEO version of yourself.

A fun idea could be that our character could be called something like V2 because that's what the person handling us at the beginning called us for some reason, and the CEO's name could be One, and then it would be explained that we're called V2 because We're suppose to be Version 2 of the CEO, a fresh upload for them to merge with so they physically can't get burnt out, so backups and duplicate uploads are used by the higher ups to keep things fresh.

It was an unexpected friendship between you and Gavin. Especially since how diverse your political views were. You were pro-deviant while Gavin was exclusively anti-android. 

Funny enough, Gavin was probably the most liberal person you had known. Until the android revolution. He was an asshole but he was one of your oldest friends.

Your parents were close friends, you both grew up together. You both decided you wanted to join the police academy together after college. 

You both differed a lot. Which is why Connor hated to see you two acting friendly towards each other.

And Gavin loved to rebut that with his belief that your infatuation with Connor was just like the time you guys were 13 and you used the “Virtual Boyfriend” app. 

“Happy Birthday, Kitty.” Gavin wrapped his arms around you, using the nickname he made up when you guys were still in diapers. 

“Thanks, Gav.” You smiled and leaned into the hug. 

Connor was at his desk, analyzing the scene with an intense glare. 

His programming seemed to be against him as the big black letters popped up in front of you two.

“They are close.” Connor ignored Hank’s accusation. 

“Always have been.” Hank nodded, glancing at the two of you.

“Are they..?” Connor’s thirium pump seemed to pump wildly at the thought. 

“I don’t think so.” Hank shook his head. “Surprised you haven’t noticed that they were close.” 

“She never mentioned it.” Connor felt like something was chewing at him. Something that reminded him of the definition of hurt.

“Before you got here, they were always together.” Hank commented.

“What changed?” Connor’s eyes were watching you as you laughed at something that Gavin had said.

“You showed up.” Hank smirked.

“Connorrr” You slurred as you stumbled through the bar. 

“Yes, Y/n?” Connor refused to look at you and you huffed.

“Look at me.” You whined, using your hand to cup his chin and force him to look at you. 

Connor’s eyes widened and his thirium pump stirred. He could feel the warmth of your hand and it was driving him crazy. Fantasies of you pulling him close and locking lips crossed his mind before he pushed them away. 

“Are you mad at me?” You pouted. “You’ve been ignoring me all day.”

“I am not mad at you, Y/n.” Connor shuffled in his seat, a new feeling of anxiousness settling in him. 

“It’s my birthday and I haven’t seen you all day.” You frowned. 

“Y/n I-” Connor felt anger bubble in him as he was cut off. 

“Kitty! Get your ass over here!” Gavin yelled obnoxiously across the bar. 

“Give me a minute!” You yelled back. 

“Leave robo-boy alone and come play pool!” 

You only replied by giving him the finger. 

“Are you and Detective Reed dating?” Connor asked abruptly. He analyzed your emotions and came up with the conclusion that you were confused. 

“Me and Gavin?” You laughed loudly. “Ew, gross. He’s like my brother.” 

“How could you be friends with someone who hates androids? Me?” Connor seemed curious but you could see the hurt behind his eyes. 

“Connor...” You frowned. “Gavin doesn’t hate you. He’s afraid of you.” 

“Why?” Connor tilted his head. 

“Well... He never liked that humans started making androids to do our jobs for us. And then the first case we worked together was the first case I didn’t work with Gavin. And now that you’re deviant, you’re the first guy, other than Gavin, that I’m this close with.” You tried to explain. “And he was terrified of that old Disney movie Smart House when we were kids, that might also factor into it.”

Connor completely brushed over your joke and felt deeply hurt by your words, which confused him because this was a whole new feeling. Of course, since becoming deviant he has felt pain but never this bad. 

“You’re close, the way we are, with Gavin?” For the first time since meeting Connor, you actually heard the emotion in his voice. 

“Not... Not like we are. But Gavin and I are close in different ways- Connor!” You gasped as Connor abruptly stood up and bypassed you. “Connor that’s not how I meant it!” 

“I understand exactly what you meant, Detective.” Connor knew he was acting illogically but the way his abdomen was clenching involuntarily and the flashes of you and Gavin doing the things that he had thought were special between the two of you was too much for him to handle. 

“Where are you going?” Hank furrowed his eyebrows as Connor passed him with a troubled look on his face, with you in tow. 

“What crawled up your ass and die-” Gavin’s snarky remark was cut off by a loud crunch. 

“Connor!” You screeched as his fist collided with Gavin’s nose. 

“Whoa-Whoa” Hank gripped onto Connor to stop him. In reality, Hank would not have been able to stop him if he didn’t want to stop. 

You bent down to help Gavin with his bleeding nose before glaring up at Connor. 

“I-I’m sorry. I didn’t-” Connor stuttered over his words. He didn’t know why he did that. 

“Go home, Connor.” You shook your head.

Connor frowned at his emotional scan of you as Hank dragged him out of the bar. 

“Well, you couldn’t have picked a worst night to have your first fight, kid.” Hank grumbled as you pushed him into his car. 

“That was hardly my first fight, Lieutenant.” Connor mumbled, for the first time lost in his thoughts. 

“No, Connor. It was. That wasn’t some criminal, it was Y/n’s best friend. You can’t get jealous like-”

“I’m not jealous.” Connor snapped. “I just can’t comprehend how she can do the things she does with me, with him.” 

Hank shook his head in disapproval. 

“Well, that sounds like jealousy to me.”

·         Pale Waves debuted a brand new pop-punk song titled “Tomorrow” at a gig in Glasgow last Monday. The band was also recently unveiled as the opening support for Halsey on her upcoming tour.

·         State Champs released a new cover of Matchbox Twenty’s song, “Real World,” for the upcoming compilation album, Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2. Hopeless Records and Sub City’s compilation benefits mental health and suicide prevention organizations.

·         Pierce the Veil frontman Vic Fuentes announced that the band’s next album is “getting closer and closer” to completion. He recently took to Instagram to give fans an update about his life, as well as other band-related news.

·         The Almost dropped their first new music since 2013, a song titled “Chokehold,” as well as unveiled plans for an upcoming full-length album and tour. The band, spearheaded by Underoath drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie, have recently signed to Fearless Records.

·         Creeper teased their fans with cryptic, paranormal videos and tweets on their social media pages. Last November, they appeared to announce their breakup onstage in London, and recently played an intimate gig under the name “Fugitives of Heaven” in the same city.

·         Waterparks dropped an emotional new track titled “High Definition,” as well as a music video, from their upcoming third studio album, Fandom. Lead singer Awsten Knight tweeted that the song is “probably [his] favorite thing [he’s] written.”

·         Bayside dropped the newest single, “Bury Me,” off their upcoming studio album, Interrobang. The band is also getting fans hyped by giving fans the chance to open for them with a “battle of the bands” contest.

·         Dance Gavin Dance released an instrumental version of their 2011 album, Downtown Battle Mountain II. The newly released instrumental album comes after the release last month of the instrumental version of the band’s fourth album, Acceptance Speech.

·         Disney’s Frozen 2 has unveiled the official soundtrack featuring covers of “Into the Unknown” by Panic! at the Disco, “Lost in the Woods” by Weezer and more. Country singer Kacey Musgraves has also signed on to put her own spin onto a track from the film.

·         Go Radio announced their return six years after their final show. The band released a statement on Instagram, as well as a short video, that detailed their plans to make new music.

·         Green Day will be unveiling a new song during a video montage that will air ahead of a National Hockey League game. The new song is called “Fire, Ready, Aim” and comes from the band’s upcoming album Father of All… out on February 7, 2020.

·         All Time Low unveiled eight show dates in Los Angeles, Chicago and Sayreville, New Jersey, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their studio album, Nothing Personal. Selling out almost immediately, they also announced they’d be re-recording the album and dropping a documentary on its making.

·         Slam Dunk unveiled its first wave of acts for its 2020 festival. The stacked lineup includes Don Broco, Mayday Parade, State Champs, Four Year Strong, the Wonder Years, Motion City Soundtrack, Knuckle Puck, Bayside, Issues, Hands Like Houses, Ice Nine Kills and many more.

·         Fans of Twenty One Pilots accused fellow music duo the Chainsmokers of copying the stage setup for The Bandito Tour after seeing the latter’s show. Both bands are currently on massive world tours with the former starting their tour last October.

·         Waterparks have unveiled a series of acoustic shows that will take place at various music stores in the U.S. The band will be performing and signing their upcoming record Fandom at the five exclusive shows.

·         Solo artist and former Panic! At The Disco guitarist Ryan Ross covered one of his former band’s songs at a show on Monday. Ross performed “Northern Downpour” at a gig in Arizona that he performed with the Dead End Kids Club, alongside Z Berg of the Young Veins.

OTHER NEWS:

·         Starbucks recently announced the addition of a Jack Skellington-inspired Frappuccino to its secret menu. The drink consists of a pumpkin spice Frappuccino with a shot of chai syrup, and was created by fans of the Nightmare Before Christmas.

·         Avril Lavigne responded in an interview with Billboard to comparisons that fellow pop singer Billie Eilish has been receiving to her music. She talked about how she feels she is similar to Eilish because they are both “individuals.”

·         Panic! at the Disco unveiled they’re getting their own music pack in popular virtual reality rhythm game, Beat Saber. The pack will be dropping next week, with both the band and the game tweeting the news.

·         AMC Theatres debuted a brand new ICEE drink inspired by the upcoming Addams Family animated film. The movie releases on October 11th and the drink, called a Spooky Clack Cherry ICEE, and is black in color.

·         The Umbrella Academy, popular comic series turned Netflix show originally created by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, announced its first spinoff. The 32-page comic book will be called Hazel and Cha Cha Save Christmas: Tales from the Umbrella Academy.

·         Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz was announced as a producer and music supervisor for a forthcoming Snapchat original short-form series dealing with mental health. Wentz will serve as both producer and musical supervisor for the series, bringing original music to the show.

·         Founding Set It Off guitarist, Dan Clermont, announced his exit from the band after a five-month hiatus following allegations against an “unnamed member of the band.” Clermont also took to Twitter to comment on his departure.

·         Concord Records has acquired the legendary Victory Records in an estimated multi-million-dollar deal. The iconic punk and emo label has been a mainstay in the scene for breaking major artists such as Taking Back Sunday, A Day to Remember and more.

Idea for an Ace Attorney episode:

“Mind of the Turnabout”:

A new virtual reality technology has been introduced. It allows people to enter a program and fill it with their thoughts, whether they be memories or imagination. In the penultimate turnabout, Phoenix Wright gets kidnapped by the main antagonist and is placed inside a “virtual prison”. Apollo Justice and Maya Fey go inside the program, hoping to rescue Phoenix.

The virtual prison turns out to be this surreal courtroom where Phoenix is on trial. He’s on trial for “ruining” the lives of the people around him. Apollo volunteers to defend Phoenix in order to free his mind and what follows is a bizarre, retrospective look at Phoenix’s past.

Some other details:

1) The prosecutor is a shadowy figure that resembles Phoenix. It represents Phoenix’s guilt, which is why it’s trying to get a guilty verdict for Phoenix.

2) The judge is the dark, giant judge that we saw in Phoenix’s nightmare in Justice for All.

3) The main witnesses are all from the past games. They include:

a. Godot/Diego Armando (because Phoenix felt like he failed to save Godot)

b. Zak Gramarye (to bring up Trucy Wright in the trial)

c. Mia Fey (whose death kickstarted the Ace Attorney story)

d. Dhurke Sahdmadhi (can bring up that Phoenix feels he may have failed Apollo as a mentor/father figure)

4) Among the people attending the trial are Phoenix’s worst enemies, including Manfred von Karma, Matt Engarde, Dahlia Hawthorne, Kristoph Gavin, The Phantom, and Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in. They don’t play a significant part of the trial, their appearances are strictly cameos.

5) Maya Fey being Apollo’s assistant is so that she can explain events in Phoenix’s life that Apollo wasn’t present for.
