He died beautiful, his golden hair folding gently over his face,

his limbs innocently lifeless and limp,carrying the tragic essence of an angel brutally falling to earth, 

wings shattered with the weight of the human life they are too other-worldly for,

but the scene was corrupted with the harsh imagery of the gun, and the pool of blood forming a halo around his peaceful face,

he was always too fragile, too delicate, too sensitive,

his baby blue eyes filled with stained glass tears late at night too often,

in his childhood bedroom, which he would now never outgrow.

He had just matured past the harsh metal that disfigured his face, braces.

The pristine rows of white they had created were too perfect, not carrying the beautifully flawed spirit that shone through him when he was alive,

they were always out of place, which was why it was so fitting for his last act to be blowing them through his skull.

But what wasted time, suffering through all those dentist appointments, money spent senselessly, all that effort and awfully quiet car journeys to and from the painful sessions,

what wasted life from a boy “too shy to just reach out for help”.

i wish that i could be alone in the world. i didn’t feel this way before i had you, but after you i know that no one will ever make me feel the way you did, so i just sit and wait for everything around me to go quiet, and pass the days by looking at nature and begging the wind to stop sounding like your voice.
