Bored Cad Bane left me Bored.
(I liked the episode. Even though it was "slower paced", I though it was good.) HE WAS SO BORED. So. Bored. The entire time. He just went in, got it done, got his money, and left. Bane didn't bother with the hypnotizing tool with the parent this time. He just stunned her (?) and was done with it. He did not have a smile the entire time, even when getting paid. He loves getting paid. Just boredom. Sorry, Bane. You know as well as I do that kidnapping is beneath your skillset. No challenge. Who put you up to this? Didn't you learn your lesson the last few times? He did not. He's incredibly observant though. "That question gives away more than ye think," Bane said to the scientist, Emerie Karr.

I'm getting kinda annoyed at people hating Bee's design for not being "accurate" because I didn't see anyone being mad about these two being inaccurate
Asmodeus doesn't have three heads, doesn't have the face of a human, doesn't have a crown, doesn't have wings, doesn't have pointy ears, nor does he have bird feet
Paimon is even more outrageous! He isn't a beautiful man, and he doesn't have a camel. He has zero connections to actual Paimon!!
I'm not saying you can't dislike Bee's design, god knows it's a hit and miss kind of design, but you can just not like it instead of setting a standard that you haven't had for any other design

The unnecessary hate towards Tommy after this episode when we barely had any interaction between the two is bothering me in the same way that people hating Lucy just bc she kissed Buck once was bothering me. Lucy was (still is) an amazing character and she did not deserve any of the hate she got.

What the fuck was that. Because he spent all his time in Hawkins with Eddie freakin “the freak” Munson emphasizing to Lucas how he did not care about being cool.
The only other thing he did all season was try to tell El he....oh
#the only even stretch of an argument would be that him trying to be normal was preventing him from telling her#but his emotional repression was not rooted in social pressure#(at least not any focused on in the show)#which is the explanation for that behavior to oversimplify it#so this comment was to say that not only is SOMETHING *preventing* or working against him internally but that that thing is socially frowned#upon and therefore cannot be admitted#likely why he didn't talk much in detail about it with will#the only thing he did that wasn't be proudly abnormal was attempt to and tell el he loved her#the only other thing he did was get closer to will tbh and that was NOT him taking the 'peer pressured socially acceptable' path#mike wheeler#byler proof#!#periodically i just remember this and go crazt#*crazy#the fun part about him being sidelined (for buildup but the truth stands about his role in this season from plots to screentime) is that#there are only so many options for what something like that could be describing#2. there are 2. absolute max if you're including episode 1#stranger things#byler#st cast
